buyer beware...

Like another purchaser, I received a picture, no maps at all...I reported it to Amazon as this is represented as a pack of 4 maps, not a picture... Buyer beware...gave one star because I couldn't give a negative star.

Don’t order this, they just send you a photo of the product.

Don’t order this item. There are no maps. It’s just a photo of the maps (and this happened when I reordered it too.)

Buy at your own risk

Only recieved 3 out of 4 maps.

Great Maps

These are nice detailed maps. I have been to the four peaks area many times and it's nice to know where some of these trails lead. They seem to show all but the smallest of trails. The durability is great and should certainly be waterproof. I matched these up with a waterproof map case and some china 'grease' pencils. The pencils work great on the map itself and erase easily with a white eraser. Great maps for learning to navigate with a GPS. I'm very satisfied with the quality of these maps. I've bought others for all over Arizona which were dated 2012. These are 2009.

Days after receiving my maps we went on a three day hike into the Sierra Ancha Wilderness in the Tonto National Forest. The durability, accuracy, and attention to detail allowed us to locate remote water sources (some of which are seasonal, so do your homework and be prepared), and identified numerous land features and trail systems not shown on other maps. After days of rough handling, continuous folding in damp conditions, our map showed no signs failure. For anyone planning a hike into unknown territory, these maps are a must and well worth the price.

Nice maps

A must have for offroading. Best detail of any maps I've found for trails and forest roads. Good quality and compact when folded so stashing them away is no problem and there when needed.

Four Stars
