Misleading Name

So the map itself is fantastic. It has all the forest roads marked on it, it's super tough, its enormous and detailed. But it doesn't have the entire rim on it. It only had a small part of it. I'd say like maybe 10% of it was on that map. I had to buy the Hellsgate map to get the main part of the rim and the areas I was looking for. If it weren't for the misleading name I would say 5 stars. I kept it and I'll use it, but if you're looking for the main area of the rim go for the Hellsgate map.

NIce map.

Great map. Use it all the time in the summer when hiking in the Mogollon Rim. Planning to get all the NatGeo maps and has all the main trails, dirt roads and main roads to access. I do wish it had distances for trails though. Also a reference for trail names since it only gives the trail number. So usually need to find a route and either take an estimate on distance. Or go online with the trail number and find more information on the hike. So be prepared! The map otherwise is very nice and made of a waterproof material.

Great map!

Great map! Purchased to teach a map and compass class for my youth group. Great size and colors, compass rose was a little different, but easy to read. Very happy with this map.

Incomplete

This is a good map as far as it goes. Unfortunately the eastern edge of this map ends prior to the Mogollon Visitor Center. This is peculiar for a map entitled "Mogollon Rim". Trails Illustrated-Nat. Geo. Map #852 continues a bit further east but a great deal of the Rim Road along the southern edge of the Colorado Plateau does not occur on any of their maps. Too bad!

great maps - durable

I really like these maps, and have many for different areas of the country. They are large and easy to read, as well as being water-resistant and durable. Detail is great and can be used for off-roading or hiking.

Not enough detail

The map was OK, but it wasn't nearly detailed enough. I am used to those large Forest Service maps with every FS road clearly marked, along with labeled stock tanks, buildings, etc.
