It was great as always. I read as many of her books as l can . I really enjoy all the three angle books. A. Very dear friend turned me on to the angle books along time ago I have thanked her many times. I am now trying to get everyone of them for my own enjoyment at the Christmas Season. .

Uplifting stories that deal with real life at the holidays. Light reading that puts a smile on your face. Can't wait to dive into the next book in the series.

Of course this is about angels and the humans they are helping, But I was disappointed in the bad language. I’ve read more of Debbies books from last few years (language free) but this is an earlier book. Stories interesting, but I prefer books that are free of bad language.

Another delightful book full of antic of the 3 angels trying to interact with people in order to help them make the choices for the future. Trials and tribulations confound what should be a clear choice. This make the angels pull a few pranks to get their assignments done.

As always Debbie delights us with her three charming angels, Shirley, Goodness and Mercy. The stories are lighthearted and touching with just the right amount of romance and humor. I always look forward to this particular series and wasn't disappointed. They are a fairly quick read as the author doesn't get bogged down in excessive descriptions of location or surroundings. I appreciate that as I am always eager to read how things progress with the situations and also what these three angels will do next.

These angels are so sincere and really wish to be helpful, but often manage to take the occasional earthly shortcut with interesting results!

It was a wonderful story that fit in well with society as it is today. The variety of characters and place settings was really well done. All age groups represented and much love. I only had a problem with swear words. They really could have been omitted altogether. Also I had a problem with the cheap shot about "Catholic guilt." I am sure I will try one more book by Debbie Macomber. But if there are swear words and criticism of my Catholic faith that will be the last book. Good clean language and no criticism of other faith is a positive incentive to read this basically good author.

Another fantastic, page turner funny story by the very talented Debbie Macomber. I love the antics Shirley, Mercy and Goodness have and the twist and turn story lines. Thank you for entertaining me once again, you never disappoint me.

...are the names of the Angels which were the main characters of this book. I found this story to be fanciful fun. Wishing we all had guardian angels that could help us achieve happiness, I read with pleasure how Surely, Goodness and Mercy helped the people which were their assignments. The Angels had to figure out what to do on their own and they were quite imaginative. Of course, it was all fantasy. If you enjoy this kind of story then The Trouble with Angels will make for a great read.

Another #1 hit from Debbie Macomber! I regret that I didn't read her "Angels" books in order, only because previous antics are referred to in preparation for the new assignments. But that still works for me as it spurs me on to look for the earlier books. The Angels are always delightful and I look forward to the next holiday season with even more anticipation

This book (unfortunately filled with typos) is a "Cute" story - a little hokie to say the least, but enjoyable nonetheless. It is almost as though one is reading three specific stories (not one of which would have held a reader's interest for long). The characters are fairly well defined and there is little left to the imagination as to how the book will end. It is probably a good read for a younger person (early teens perhaps).

This would have received five stars from me if the expletives had been left out. The capers of Shirley, Goodness, and Mercy will cause you to chuckle (just the names will), but because the book is about the adventures of these three and the title includes the word "angels" the expletives did surprise me. Do give this book a chance---there are others in the series---as you will enjoy their escapades as they play matchmakers and healers of the heart.

I just love these three angels. The story continues more adventures for this trio. This book will cheer you up and brighten your day.

Debbie Macomber's a wonderful author! If I didn't know better, I'd say she has inside information where those angels are concerned!

Not an immensely deep piece of literature, but I enjoyed the interwoven stories of characters who've suffered loss, disappointment, and heartbreak only to overcome the pain as God's plan for them is revealed through prayers said on their behalf. This uplifting read serves as a reminder of the power of prayer, the sovereignty of God, and the ministry of His angels in our lives.

Great heartwarming read with laughter and whimsy tossed in!

Just when you think all is lost, here come Shirley, Mercy, and Goodness. They visit Los Angeles. Debbie Malcomber is a wonderful writer.

Those 3 angels can get into more mischief & I eagerly read on to find out what “miraculous “ thing they will do next. Mrs. Macomber has a wonderful imagination. Can’t wait to see what’s next!!!

It's a nice book. A little cute, a pretty good romance, a bit of faith involved. It could be "cleaned up a bit" (proof reading, typos) and was not on a writing level that I'm used to. However, it was enjoyable and the story was very sweet. Worth reading if you enjoy the idea of angels working in our lives.

Prayer angels Shirley, Goodness, and Mercy solve earthly mortal problems in somewhat unconventional ways. They frequently consult with each other for support and help coming up with their solutions. Like the other Macomber Angel books, this is a delightful yet sometimes emotional read.

Very good book, I love the twists and turns in this book. Was hard to follow at first but then I understood the characters and their differences it was hard to put my book down.

Goodness, Mercy and Shirley were very funny. They did pull some funny business with customers. Gabriel caught them doing strange things to customers. Just a very funny and interesting story.

While these are good books, I find keeping up with the 3 different stories somewhat difficult. I generally don't read a book straight through in one sitting. When I pick these books up again, I have reacquaint myself. But I do read all of them.

I just can't get enough. Everytime I read a Macomber story I can't wait to fall in love with the characters. Always a job well done!

I keep looking for Shirley, Goodness and Mercy around Hot Springs but haven't seen them yest - They have to be here somewhere. They've got to be the neatest trio ever.

Three sweet but over-enthu angels land up on earth 'helping" troubled people find love and peace. Their bungling ways are fun to read about and of course everything does seem to work out for the best, after all it is Christmas time. But with all the focus on the angels we really dont get to see much of the development of the characters. A pretty good read otherwise.

Not sure if I am reading this series in order but this is the first of the Shirley, Mercy and Goodness series for me and it was another great story. Can't wait to get the next book.

If you have read any of Debbie Macomber's books, you will enjoy this one. Her stories of the Three Angels that are periodically sent to Earth to help people are just great. I really enjoy everything Debbie writes.

I love the way the stories are separate but then all come together at the end, but I didn't want this book to end. Needed to buy a couple more so I could continue to be inspired. Wonderful writer, very talented. Thank you! Marge

This book touched on subjects all of us will deal with. It made me think, laugh and feel a renewed hope. I wish the book had been a little longer. It seemed a shame to develop so many rich characters and then rush through their stories.

This book is told by angels, quite different from anything else I've read. Entertaining and interesting the way the characters evolve. I recommend this book for an enjoyable read. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

This was a great little story for the Christmas season. I especially like something like this to read during such a hectic season. It was fun and took my mind off some family problems.

I really enjoy reading Debbie Macomber's books with the three angels. They always get into so much mischief, but thankfully they meet their goals.

This novel is very entertaining with lots of excellent plot twists and angelic dialogue though the conversation and action is more human than angelic. Definitely good.

I like Debbie Macomber. I started reading her books at the library; however, the last 4 months of the year limit my reading time and at the library one only gets 2 weeks for new releases. I plan on getting additional Macomber books; however, it must be after the holiday season.

Wow another one I haven't received and its about angels too. I even looked under Harper Monoogram and its not there.

The story was different from what I am used to. It was fun to read. Good character development. I liked the way she got back to the angels from time to time. .

Good as the others were.can't wait to read more .debbie has lot of great book out there to continue best stories with out going over and repeating

This book is funny at times but yet very caring on personal problems or illnesses. You can see how God wants us all to act towards other people. Being there to listen or help guide them through some hard times. I would suggest anyone read this a maybe learn the meaning of giving back to others.

I had a little trouble at the beginning getting interested but then found the story moving along. It turned out to be good and I enjoyed it. It was a different approach to a story from the viewpoint of angels which was quite different from other books.

Quick and easy reading. Definitely a fiction book but gives you a good feeling about those you know who are in heaven and makes you think they are looking down upon us.

This is a light and easy read. I have enjoyed the 2nd book in the Angels series as much as the first. Shirley, Goodness and Mercy are delightful angels working on fairly tough prayer answering assignments. Goodness has the toughest one with a pastor who has lost his faith after his wife has passed. Debbie Macomber hit the spot for this Christmas winner.
