The pack is coming out of the shadows—but some of its shifters don’t know how to live anywhere else. Fallon grew up on the street. She’s a survivor, and her skills kept her pack alive in the darkest of times. Now the sun is coming out, and she has no idea how to be a bird who lives in the light. She’ll do anything to help her baby pack get there, though. Even if it means returning the shinies she stole from a polar bear.

Raven

I loved this story, which has love, joy, sadness and resilience. I would cry, laugh at the same time. I have been reading books by this author for many years, even under a different name. I have never been disappointed! I can hardly wait to read the next book in this series.

Raven - Fallon's story

Raven - Fallon's story Raven shifter Fallon, grew up on the streets. Flying over Ghost Mountain territory she saw Ben Dunn, and the wolf looked shinny to her raven, and she literally dropped into his arms and was welcomed into his pack. When Samuel destroyed her new home, she took to the woods with her mate, taking the pack healer and her bear mate along with Ben's big sister. They have been taking care of the packmates left behind in any way they can. Keeping the pups fed. Brandy's anxiety has kept them in the forest. They have formed their own baby pack. Adding Mikayla, a shy just out of her teens, sentinel from Bailey's wolves and Reuben another wolf who struggles like Brandy. Fallon had to steal at times to feed the pups. She is trying to make restitution. The biggest is to the Alpha of the polar bears. Ivan became friend to their pack when he agreed to act as Eamon's jailor and his roar brought them peace. Fallon was not as carful as she thought and Ivan finds her. He only wants her story to add to the story of the coins she stole. To the polar bears, her story is one of honor. Lissa's pebbles are still rippling. They brought Ravi home to his mate and the daughter he never new. They brought old friends of the pack, Reese, the bobcat Alpha, and the cats of Lonely Mountain back. The teens of Lonley Mountain and the pups and cup of Ghost mountain are renewing their childhood friendships. Now the new Raven alpha whishes to forge a stronger friendship with the pack. Fallon is scared, she knows nothing of Ravens. Tressie, her beta Martha and Emma Jean the trader that the pack have been working with, only offer friendship and are more then happy to teach Fallon about her heritage. It starts with a bead for the half Raven Wolf that will be soon joining their pack, along with another pup. Hayden, Kel and Rio know all about Raven chicks. Tressie's Ravens are happy to bring their chick to the pack to help the pack get ready. Merna tells Hayden the Packs story. The pack makes a big decision to help in their healing. The are moving their den. A move that help some of the wolves living in the forest to feel safe again. Great series. PG-13 rating. Not a stand alone, books need to be read in order.

They have gotten much better

The stories are more intense and her characters more defined. I have come to truly love several of them. The language has eased quite a bit as well.

Love these characters.

Highly recommend this series. Hoping there's several more books to come. Please and Thank You. Author is correct that this series reads best in order. Every story rests upon people and actions in previous books. The core characters of each story so far, Alpha = Hayden, Heart = Lissa, Rebel = Kennedy and Raven = Fallon and Ben. Viewpoints and thoughts of other characters are spread through every book. Baby packs and gravity beams have more ghost members coming closer to the den. But so many are traumatized by pre-Alpha events. Revelations of some of the evil done by the previous alpha and his cousin. Lots of tears as more of their actions to isolate and control the pack are brought to light. Time to go back and re-read earlier stories in light of the new information. Fantastic news and decisions made as this book ends and the next begins. New additions to our favorite bear and psychic wolf groups. After a line in an earlier story I'm very interested in what may or may not happen with Rio and Bailey. Looking forward to more of the Dunn clan as well. Still hope to read of Ronan's visit (move) to the pack someday. Next, but hopefully not last, is Bright. No triggers but mention of despicable cowardly acts of evil, no sex, no cliffhanger. Highly recommend this series, so addicting watching these people work together to heal and progress. And so many of the words speak to me, all the quotes I've underlined in this book especially. Thanks for the great series Audrey Faye.

Ghost Mountain Book 4 - enjoyed but at times it bogged down

Although there was much to like, this book bogged down Like book 3. I enjoyed the coming together and the building of community. At times, I lost interest in all the issues/trauma. There was just too much. Less would have been more for me. I Loved Dragon Kin, and I like this book, and will probably read the whole series, I still wish some of the repetitiveness was edited out and that the story moved quicker. I am enjoying all the characters and the author does a great job of introducing new characters. However, at times, I have no idea who is talking/thinking and need to go back to the beginning of the chapter to see which character is the focus.

Another amazing story

This one was a bit more emotional for me compared to the 1st three books. It's getting harder to put the books down. I am enjoying the characters and their stories.

3.5 stars Zon/ 3.2 GR because of lacking research on ravens; otherwise 4 Zon/3.7 GR.

It may be silly of me to get so hung up on a not-really-critical point (only in conversation, not even witnessed/ present), but it's slipshod (taken in by the internet misidentification of a corncrake photo, I presume) and biologically implausible to say baby ravens are fluffballs running/hopping around soon after hatching, when the actuality is that corvids — being smart creatures with a lot to learn — are born as helpless as humans are. Every time hypothetical fluff or fuzz was mentioned, it ruined my suspension of disbelief. Other than that, though (and we don't even meet any members of the distant-neighbors raven pack until near the end)... I was concerned at first that this book would be harder to get into than Heart or Rebel, since the *featured* member(s) of the cast this time out had barely been introduced before, keeping their distance from the main den, but Fallon and her sub-pack ("baby pack") band of vulnerable misfits grew on me quickly. There are also still plenty of scenes narrated by Hayden, Kel, Rio, and Lissa, among others. I like the paradigm-shifting solution found in the end, and there are lots of great scenes along the way, many showing respect and loving care for each traumatized pack member's needs. It was satisfying to finally find out all about what Samuel's vicious overthrow of the previous pack leadership entailed, tragically destroying the Dunn family (the survivors including, Bailey, Kelsey, Fallon's mate, and more). I'm a bit torn whether Fallon's self-doubt as to her worth and belonging as an ignorant, former-thief raven amid the wolf-pack she'd barely been accepted into before it was torn apart, is over-repeated or merely enough for sympathetic understanding of how far she needs to come. There were a few minor typos this time, and one inconsistency, where an action of Mikayla's was later attributed to Brandy, but I'm still quite eager to see this pack continue to recover and move forward. Shelley is to take center stage next time.

Fantastic

Each One is better than the one before. This is a wonderful story. The whole series is one of the best I have ever read.

Beautiful detailed community

This is the fourth book of an awesome series. Each book weaves the thoughts of multiple people within the community to seamlessly tell the tale of trauma, rebirth and joy. The books uplift your spirit and leave you smiling and at times laughing aloud with joy. In Raven we watch Fallon spread her wings, believe that her acts are good and understand how much others value her and her contribution to their community or clan. Generally, a series will have a dud book by book 4, this series continues to steamroll over my expectations by continuing to expand on an awesome story and bring in new people, damaged but able to change, even if they don't believe they can. Warning - if you have trouble following stories with lots of characters, this series will be problematic. But it is worth outlining the relationship on paper if necessary. It had been a few months since I read the first three books and it did take a couple of chapters to remember who everyone was but then they were like old friends. :-)

Great Series

Each of these books touches my heart in a new way. Thanks to Audrey Faye for a different kind of wolf shifter book.😀

I cry a lot

I love the story of broken, finding it's way to mending. I recommend it to those who've been there and loves shifter stories.

He becomes the future pack

I have read these stories over and over and find new meaning each and every time. Ms. Faye brings together inspiration and growth to a world that was crumbling with evil as it's leader. She shows how family and new comers shake that foundation to rid it of evil and bring about true heartfelt family. In Raven she tells how family isn't just those born into it but also those that earn that place. Fallon earns more than a place as a family member she earns her cape as a hero who would do anything to protect the childern, the elders and the shadow members of her family. Pack is family and Fallon knows this. Read this wonderful series and watch the family grow from individuals to couples, to groups to FAMILY. I am very much eagerly awaiting the next book Breath to find out more about a group of people who becomes a PACK, a FAMILY!!!

Very touching

This novel was much better than the last. It keeps you guessing what will happen next. Ends with the reader wanting to read the next book.

Impatiently waiting for the next installment!

This story gets better with every book. The folks peopling the stories are three dimensional, which I find unusual and enjoyable. This is not your typical shifter story. The alpha is not super macho and hotly sexy; he’s a leader with heart. The others -wolf, bear, cat, and raven- are not stereotypes. They are human and individual, with hearts and brains, hurts and history. I usually make it partway thru a series, get tired of the tropes, and move on. I raced thru the first four books and am impatiently waiting for the next chapters in this series. Recommended for folks who are interested in a post apocalyptic, rebuilding story with brainy pre-teens, brave teens, loving elders, and some odd but loving relationships. (A raven and a wolf?) You’ll know what I mean when you meet everyone. Have fun!

Loved this book

Ugh the feels. I loved having Fallon as a steady narrator of this part on the Ghost Mountain Packs story. I’m looking forward to the next step in their journey and I’m so happy I found this beautiful series. Great job author!!!!

Great author and series.

Just finished last book I have in the series. Know there is at least one more. Can't wait! Waa, I want it now!!! This author writes stories which have minimal bloody or sexy scenes but flows right along with characters I really care about and want to know more about. They are gentle books to read with strong female characters without sacrificing the male ones. I've cried near the end of all 6 books, mostly from happiness. They are about family. She writes from different character's view points which is clearly marked. Sometimes I lose track of who I'm following but can look at "title" of each section to remember.

What a story teller!!!

Audrey Faye is a magical story teller. She writes with a mystical voice. Her stories are bright shiny things with characters so real you can reach out and touch them. They seem into your heart and soul . The relationships are intricate, delicate things but Audrey keeps them all together and makes them real. I love the voice she uses and how she puts the words together and brings her stories to life. Absolutely recommend this very special series.

Better Read

This story was just a little better then the last read and I am still struggling with matching names to the each individual characters!😒😇

Big Things Happening

So much went on in this book! BIG THINGS! Since I'm reading this series as it's released instead of binge-reading, it takes several chapters to realize who is who and remember what their story is. While I may wish for a little bit of background to make the reading easier, I like that the reader is just dropped into the story to fend for themselves, much like the Ghost Mountain Pack is. This series is unlike any I have ever read and I can't wait for the next installment.

A Wonderful Continuation of the Ghost Mountain Pack's Road to Recovery

I've been amazed how this series about a broken pack of shifters living in the wild has been able to elicit such powerful emotions from me. Audrey's writing had always been fun and heart-filling, and this latest book continues to please. In this one, the focus is on a street kid raven who has been traumatized by events but gains courage and confidence when appointed to a leadership position. One needs to read the series in order for everything to make sense. I highly recommend this series!

Another wonderful addition to the series

Faye is fleshing out her wonderful new community, filling in some gaps, going more in depth into the history of the Ghost Mountain pack. I found Raven to be full of emotional highs and lows, a bit breathtaking in the speed of some things, but nicely balanced with some really touching moments. I hope the author is planning on many more books in this series - and I can see the possibilities of offshoots as well. Can't wait for the next book!

I dont think you understand how much thos book makes me feel

This book made me cry 3 times and it felt like a purge that left only joy and hope in its wake. The entire series has slowly turned me into a melting puddle. The characters keep evolving a pace with incoming trials within the pack to adapt and overcome. This book is meant for a cozy chair, a warm blanket and a tissue box. I look forward to more of the Ghost Mountain Pack!

Such a good series!

Just a heart warming book. Touches on hard topics, but with respect and compassion and an ever present sense of hope for the future! I keep a box of tissues next to me, because with all of the books in this series, I'm crying both sad and happy tears. Word of warning, you MUST start at the beginning of this series!

Another celebration of healing and family

This book brings more healing to the Ghost Mountain pack and it does it with the characteristic celebration of difference integrated into bonds of love and friendship that defines this series. I love the details about Ravens and the ongoing narrative that is propelled by interpersonal connection instead of by the murder and mayhem of so many shapeshifter stories.

Just love this series!

Again another book that had my emotions going from high to low, cheering characters on while commiserating with others. I wanted to jump into the pages and live in this world even for a little while. I would recommend this series to everyone! But be aware you will get more out of these if you read the series in order.

Hooray for the Ghost Mountain Pack

Like all of Audrey Faye/Deborah Geary's books this one, this series, does not disappoint! I am absolutely in love with these characters and cry as each book ends ... the good thing is that I can, and do (will), read them again 😁 Good job and blessings to you, Audrey Faye - please keep the love coming!

I love happy endings

This one was harder to read than the others, with more direct discussion of trauma. To balance that, I think it had a bigger payoff at the end. And I love the polar bears so much!

Wonderful!!!

What could keep me inside on a beautiful sunny day, A new book from Audrey Faye. Raven is the story of one of Ghost Mountain's baby packs finding its own place, together and as part of the bigger clan. Wonderfully written, as always, I can not wait for the next book. Thank You Audrey!!

Intricate

Intricate, intriguing, painful and gloriously fulfilling. Definitely read this series in order. You will understand nothing if you don't. This one is slower but so complex Ms. Faye's story boards must be legendary. Fascinating to watch the pack heal and adapt and try to come together. Great read.

Simple answers to tough problems

Sometimes we get so stuck in trying to a solve problem, we forget the answer can be very simple - we just have to think about it a bit differently. This book does a brilliant job of showing how this can be done. So glad Fallon was brave enough to speak up.

Good read

I liked the whole series. It was entertaining and had a good story.

Heartwarming

Audrey Faye has taken a reader’s eyes into the midst of the pack, the heart of the den. Overcoming the trauma inflicted by a truly evil Alpha, the Ghost Mountain shifters are an inspiration.

Publicly revealed strength and compassipn

Another inspiring and entertaining story. This one showing the challenge of allowing one's self to be revealed in the light. Publicly stepping in to strength and compassion . love this author!

Fantastic

Absolutely fantastic read. The characters have me hooked, the storyline flows easily. I find myself rooting for the pack. Awesome book series!

Raven

Love this series and the characters. The pure heart that goes into them is amazing.

Am loving this series!

I am loving the depth of characterization of these shifters. Have already reread all the books even though they haven’t been out very long.

You might need to read this several times, once for the beauty of phrasing, once for the structure of the tale and many times for the layers of nuance, like peeling layers off an onion. Love this writer's ability in the art.

The depth in the characters. There is nothing to dislike except that the next book is not yet ready! Hurry would you?

Couldn't put it down

Couldn't put it down. Fantastic read. Lover the entire series.

Audrey Faye is back

Nice series can't wait for the next one

Amazing!!

This pack stole my heart at page one!

Raven

Love! Love! Love this series!

I love Fallon! An awesome thieving raven!

This series is telling the story of a pack healing through the individual stories stored within that pack. It is amazing! With every book we get the opportunity to see more and understand more about the Ghost Mountain shifters and each books expounds a new story of hope and healing. I am so impressed with Audrey Faye and the deeply personal stories and feelings she is able to convey in these books. I loved learning more about Fallon, the raven shifter, in this book. She has a different story to tale and she is such a huge part of this pack. I love this series. I could easily see myself rereading these books in the future. I am going to hop into the next book immediately. They are so good! Romance Content: Clean. Hugs and kisses. Off the page sex mentioned.

A raven in a wolf pack, who knew it would work so well.

This series rocks so hard. I am waiting as patiently as possible for the next book in the series but I needed a Ghost Mountain fix so I just reread the whole series again. I love Fallon! She is such a complicated character. So loyal that she will go to any lengths to help her pack. She has some serious emotional issues but her relationship with her mate and her pack mates help her to go on. I really liked the interactions she has with Ivan the polar bear. I highly recommend this whole series. You definitely need to read it in order though. I read this through Kindle Unlimited and I thank the author for offering her books here. I have found so many wonderful authors through this program and Audrey Faye is one of the best of them without any doubt. I am so thankful that Audrey participates. Thank you!!!

Common sense

I was thinking, early in the book, why Don't they move the den if current location holds such bad memories? Fallon gets great news and makes a simple suggestion that alters the pack forever

Good books for when things are dark.

Years ago, I read every book by author Debora Geary. She wrote paranormal books that made you feel optimistic, and believe in the goodness of people and family (both blood and not). But she stopped writing and I have never found another author that gives me that feeling. When I read this series I was strongly reminded of her work--in the best way. I did not know until after the first draft of this review it is the same author!! I read this series in one gulp these last two days. And I couldn't put the books down. Not because of the excitement or the humor or drama. But from the contentment and simple happiness of this ongoing story about a lost pack of wolves finding their way back to the light. The best part about these books is that, despite the paranormal elements, it's simple (and not so simple) human kindness and strength of character that saves the day. One of the other elements that impressed me is the backstories of the characters. I really expected there to be a full series of books in Audrey's backlist about Hayden's old pack and some of the other characters, like Kel, because the histories of the characters are so well drawn. So why the four stars instead of five? Well, two things. One the covers. These books are well written and well edited and I think its a shame that the packaging of these wonderful stories is so lacking. Two, the author is writing about recovery and resilience but she shies away from details and descriptions of the abuses and violence of the past. As a survivor or violence myself, you can't avoid the fullness of the darkness and conquer it, and talking about the details of crimes is painful yes, but healing. And that avoidance, that reluctance that glossed over the details of what the characters endured, and whitewashed them with vague words jerked me out of the story. It made the book unbalanced because you can't appreciate the brightness of the light because you don't have a full picture of the darkness of the dark for contrast. I am going to pick up Audrey Faye's back list asap. I have been waiting for this author to write again and I am so happy she is!

Superb Story!

This chapter in the series was beautiful and definitely gave me all the feels. There were definitely hard moments in the book, where you can feel the emotion pouring form the words. The author did really great writing this story, I think this may be her best story writing of the series. There were new developments and more slow progress within the story so there is definitely something to anticipate in the next book. Overall the story was fantastic but my issues with it were, there are sooooo many characters, it is extremely hard to keep up with - it would be great if the author had a character list and the family trees that we can see - visuals are great. Also I wasn't expecting the story to be told mostly from Fallon's point of view, I know the author is very vested in the baby packs as she calls them but I personally find it hard to transition from one main character to the next when the original main character was the primary for most of the series. It would have made sense it if it was a gradual move to Fallon because I wasn't as invested in her as I am in some of the other characters. But I understand why she chose her so that we can all really feel for the shadows of the clan. Anyway it's a definite read!

Excellent storytelling and beautiful story

The author does a beautiful job weaving together complicated characters. She weaves in fantastic descriptions of true inclusion. This is one of my favorite series and this book stands out among the others

Meet the ghosts of Ghost Mountain!

Ghost Mountain has many secrets and in Raven we finally unveil much of the mystery and answer lingering questions posed by the first three books. Meet Fallon, Ghost Mountain's resident Raven shifter/thief. As the leader of one of Kennedy's newly formed satellite packs we finally get to meet many of the "ghosts" who have stayed away from the main den this far. We also learn more of the traumatizing backstory to the rein of Samuel, and a better layout of the family tree. (Just saying, miss Faye, that an actual visual family tree at the front of the book would be quite helpful at this point to keep us readers straight on all of Ghost Mountain's residents. Oh, like Kennedy's gravity beam chart!) Fallon is a sweet Raven who fell in love with Ben, a ghost MTN wolf shifter shortly before Samuel took over. We get to learn about this tenacious Raven and what she did to survive and help the pack during the rough times, and what she is doing now to help herself and others heal. Great addition to the Ghost Mountain story. Though I am impatient for the arrival of the much anticipated new den, this story needed to arrive before the den. Don't worry, though you get to meet new characters, it is not an overwhelming number, and you still get plenty more from some favorites such as bear teen Reilly (whom we quickly learn is not the only bear in the pack:).

Home is where your heart is

Wow, no one brings the essence of belonging like Audrey Faye! The heart and soul of the characters, and their other halves, are on full display in this story about what it means to be accepted and loved. Raven never really knew her lineage and had no idea if she was living up to what her culture expected. Instead she followed her heart and forged a family and culture all her own. Things get intense when she comes face to face with her own kind. It turns out maybe following your heart is just enough. In addition to all of Raven’s decisions, it looks like some Ghosts have choices to make as well. The courage and compassion required to take a deep look at ourselves and find acceptance, forgiveness and healing are greatly explored in this story. I am continually amazed by the depth of emotion and character in these books. Do yourself a favor and start with the first in this series and enjoy the journey of one wolf looking for a pack, and all the ripples it makes when just one finds their place. The antics of the cubs, the heart of the bears and one little girl with tremendous determination make this story so much fun, even as the truth of home and belonging is realized. Don’t make a big polar bear look for you, get the book and come home.

Appropriate for teens on up

This series is so unlike most of my paranormal reads, it’s about a werewolf pack that was damaged badly by a sadistic man who became Alpha and the kind man who found them and fought to become Alpha and work to heal them. I became interested in the series for the love story of Hayden and Lissa but the series has become more about the group of shifters and their efforts to heal from their trauma. This book is told from a Raven’s point of view but includes chapters told from other pack members we’ve come to know. I enjoy the series, and this book, but miss more interaction between Hayden and Lissa in this one. Still a good read.

Hearts and Souls

I think this is now my favorite book in the series. If you on this page and haven't read the first (3) books - you really want to start at the beginning for this one. I am someone who enjoys books that are about the characters, their relationships and their lives. This series doesn't disappoint. In this installment we learn about the history of the pack and get to know the members out in the woods. One of many sentences that I loved: "Pack isn't a place. It's people. Hearts. Souls." And this one from early in the book "I need her to help me aim a ray of sunshine into the shadows. And then I need to get the heck out of there before I get sunburn." If you are looking for wolves brawling and lots of graphic paranormal sex, this isn't the series for you. If you are drawn to community, love, deep friendship and family relationships and stories of resilience and integrity...this is for you. I will definitely be scheduling a re-read of this one. Thank you Audrey Faye!

Loved it.

Can not get enough of this series. Currently on my third read through and can’t wait for the next one.

Love this series and its message

I love this series, its characters and its message. In every book the author brings us closer to the pack by sharing more of their lives, suffering and sacrifices. This books is about Fallon, a Raven who lived in the streets before she fell (literally) into Ben's arms and became part of the Ghost Mountain wolf pack. Ben is a member of original alpha family, the Dunn's. We learned how Fallon helped the pack survive during Samuel's time as the pack alpha. We also learned how Samuel became alpha and started 6 years of abuse and terror. My heart breaks for this pack that had suffered so much. I am so emotionally involved with this series that I suffer with them, but I also rejoice when I see everything they do to help heal those who needed the most. This book shows the beginning of their new life. I RECOMMEND this series - it is about rising from ashes, about healing of the spirit, about unconditional love.

Ghost Pack is a great series! Raven is the best yet!

Fallon is one of the non-wolf shifters that has been accepted by the pack. This is a story of how she came to be, and how she points the way to bring the pack closer together than it has been. Her mini-pack becomes the beacon for the many wolves that feel like they are not part of the pack any longer... due to the violence and trauma detailed in the earlier books. This series does build on the story with each book, so reading in order is a must. The books are written in chapters that are each from a different characters viewpoint, which was confusing at first... and I find myself going back occasionally to make sure I know what character I am reading. But it does allow for a deeper view of each characters thoughts, and moves the story along nicely. In all... I would have to say Raven is the best book in the series to date. It echoes many of the issues we see today... diversity, tolerance, acceptance, and the will needed to resist in whatever way is needed when leadership becomes toxic.

A journey of epic proportions

The author is correct that this series needs to be read in order. Raven begins at the fringes of what was previously known about the Ghost Mountain pack and brings much more out of the the shadows and into the light, even if just to the edges. Not all of the pack can bear the light. I would rate this book six stars if I could. All of Ms. Faye's writings are about family, belonging, and personal journeys of discovery and healing. It is what draws me so strongly to her writing. In Raven the journeys (and there are many) are epic. They begin with Fallon and her baby pack and evolve into a journey of discovery for the entire pack. By a third of the way through the book I couldn't put it down. I frequently found myself chuckling out loud or with an ache in my heart and tears of joy on my cheeks. No other author has ever taken me on such emotional journeys. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Wonderfully entertaining shifters

All of the shifters in this series are written with depth and personality, even though, they are broken in mind and spirit. My favorite part is how Adrianna Scott has immense shifter power and get still has a soft heart for those mistreated. She loves her son for sure. Hayden wants so badly for the pack to feel safe. Fallon figured out a good way to help everyone.

Always amazing!

"Acceptance and belonging are as important to hearts as breathing, and the lack of them can be wielded like a blade." I waited to read this book, telling myself, I was waiting until I needed a pick me up, then I told myself I was waiting until I could be vulnerable. It was all a lie. I waited because this author speaks directly to my fears and shadows , and also builds a world of connection and Acceptance that I long for with such ferocious intensity that my soul weeps at the end of one, when no longer ensorcelled by this world. It also brings me joy that someone else can see what we all need. I can feel her bleed on these pages, I can breathe her familiarity with her own shadows painted on the page. Thank you for your bravery Ms. Faye.

Awesome!

I have been binge reading this series, and made myself stop and write some type of review ( not my favorite thing). I love the totally different style of presentation that the author gives of shifter life. How each character has a presence in the story, how important they are to each other, and how they respect and embrace their differences. Off to the next one.

interesting characters

I'm enjoying this series and this book was no exception. In this book, Raven, the fourth in the Ghost Mountain Wolf Shifter series, we get more background information on several of the characters and more pack history. Audrey Faye has a way of writing characters who feel like family. People who you'd like to hang out with, love, and be loved by. She does a good job of diving into broken souls who are trying to fight their fears and put their lives back together and of writing the characters who love them and are trying to heal and help in any way they can. One comment, try not to leave too much time between books. There are several characters and relationships here and it helps to be able to keep them all straight. I'm already hoping for another book (or more!) and will read the whole series again when it's complete.

I love this series!

When I first started reading these books I couldn't imagine that I would enjoy hearing about a traumatized pack of shifters. But these books have so much heart, are so sympathetic to the victims that every tiny step they take forward feels like a huge leap towards a wonderful future. You find yourself cheering when someone smiles for the first time or touch is accepted at last. The three male heroes are loveable, likeable and wonderful. You cant wait to know them better. Each story has tremendous depth...the author keeps you hanging and then dumps you into so much going on that your stunned. Yes, these are books about wolf shifters, but they are all too human without losing the part that makes them wolf. I've been very impressed with this series and cant wait for the next book.

Shadows and light

The Ghost Mountain wolf pack is constantly adapting as it tries to heal old wounds and bring all the ghosts into the light. However, it takes someone comfortable with shadows to show them some pack can’t completely leave the darkness, but they could meet halfway in the shade.

Best story yet.

No one tugs heart strings through story like Audrey Faye. I’m thoroughly enjoying this tale of sunshine and shadows. Bravo.

Great Addition to Series

Fantastic addition to the series. I love getting to catch up with series favorites, but also meet some new ones. This book has plenty of both. Also, Ivan. I always look forward to storylines with him, and this book definitely has that.

Beautiful and powerful, tale full of hope and love

Another beautifully written story around the Ghost Mountain Pack. So many shadows and fractured that need to be healed, Fallon finds herself in charge of a baby pack and is scared she isn’t up for the task, but boy is she ever. Here is a perfect passage from her: I might not know how to live in the light, but I will do everything in my power to help the wolves I love to get there. We also learn a great deal more about Fallon’s past (a raven with a wolf pack had me asking questions and they are answered) as well as some other unique and fun characters like Ivan. A tale of love, hope, truth, hardship, and family interlaced with humor - another must read.

Up all Nite!

I love a book that I can’t put down and this was one of them! Who needs to sleep? Raven continues the story of the Ghost Mountain Pack. This community is rebounding from a leader who led by terror. They survived, and that leader has been defeated and replaced with a new leader who is loving, patient, and kind. Each story in the series shares a story of learning to trust, healing, strength and finding your joy. We get to see how the characters in previous books are continuing to grow and how they are reaching out to others who live in the shadows, wanting to come in to the light, but not daring... not yet. I cried, I laughed and I loved each of the characters. I really want to be part of the pack!

Gorgeous and moving

This is fast becoming one of the best series I have ever read. And I read a lot. Perhaps the closest I can find to how good this series is would be The Others by Ann Bishop. What both series do amazingly is describe what belonging and family and community truly mean by showing it through mundane daily tasks interspersed with profoundly moving moments and surprising revelations. The ordinariness of it - the importance of cookies and blankets and kids - is combined with every emotion it’s possible to feel. The author wraps you up in life in this pack - so much so that you feel everything, deeply. It’s smart, gorgeous writing. I want to live on Ghost Mountain.

Not Your Average Shifter Novel!

As always, Audrey Faye’s newest book about the Ghost Mountain Shifters is a delightful surprise. She has added lots of new characters that weren’t mentioned in the earlier books. I hope that means she’ll be writing a book about each of them. I want this series to continue for many, many books. I was quite surprised that she chose a Raven as the center of this book. I really expected a polar bear : ). I do need to say that if you’ve never read an Audrey Faye book, you need to know that these are stories of overcoming trauma, building community, and finding happiness in everyday things. They are really heartwarming and just always make me smile.

A favorite series

I received my review copy of this book late in the evening. I put aside what I was already reading to read this in one, late into the night, sitting. The world building is wonderfully intricate with characters that draw you in. This installment focuses on one of the “satellite” packs, headed by Fallon, the raven shifter. As with most of this author’s books, the story is in the characters. The action usually consists of knitting, playing and eating. That doesn’t mean that nothing happens, because a lot sure does. But it’s not suspenseful in any way other than anxiously waiting for the next book.

Intricately layered shifter saga continues

Audrey Faye’s Ghost Mountain Wolf Shifters series continues with book 4 Raven. This is a series that must be read in order to keep track of what has happened prior to the series start and the growing cast of characters. I absolutely loved Raven with all her fierceness and scars. Ben is a perfect mate for her and I enjoyed seeing the interactions between her baby back and all the wonderful characters from the previous books. I love how the author conveys the sense of family/community. This book pulled at so many of my my emotions from tears to laughter. I highly recommend this book and the previous books in the series. I received an advance reader copy.

Another great addition - the story continues!

This book moves away from the main characters a little bit - and introduces a whole host of new ones! (A family tree would be super helpful at some point - maybe on the website??) There's some backstory revealed (slowly) and it keeps you guessing as to who's who and what happened. Ms. Faye is leading us through the recovery of these characters, building towards the light. It's great to watch characters come into their own and to see how things develop - and I can't wait for the next installment. I'm going to re-read the last two books soon - I get the feeling there are things I've missed, the text is quite thick with meaning!

Just as good as the ones that came before!

I stumbled on this series of books and an so glad that I didn't pass it by. Sure, it's not full of a lot of the things I look for in the books I use as my escape, but it is a very good story that continues to evolve and grow, and it's so very good at evoking an emotional response. Like the other books in the series, I didn't want to put it down and I didn't make it through without shedding a few tears. I cannot wait to read the next and hope that there are more to come in the series.

What a wonderful story with our favorite pack

Audrey Faye has done it again, with her insightful stories and lovable characters. Raven is beautifully written, with as much heart and love as the other Ghost Mountain books. I immensely enjoy this series and all the intricate ways that the characters become real, inspiring focal points for embracing soft and good things, as well as the bad. This book focuses not only on the den pack, but on the shadows that have been mentioned, with all the love and care that their history deserves. And Hayden and Lissa are just as cute as always. Thanks, Audrey, for yet another emotion-filled book that will keep my mind busy and heart full... until the next book, of course.

Leader of this (baby) pack

The Ghost Mountain pack continues to work toward healing the wounds of their traumatized members, and this installment has a baby pack taking some big steps toward bringing more wolves home. Fallon thinks she is an outsider who doesn’t fit in ... but the love of her pack — with the help of a polar bear — help her believe in herself. In return, Fallon may have an answer to helping bring her fractured family home. I love the progression of this series, the messages of love, friendship and inclusivity and that “pack” can be anyone bound by love and respect. Can’t wait for the next one.

Touching, gutsy and superb.

It may sound insipid, but I am addicted to this author and her style of writing. Every book is a bit different and brings such depth and a realism to the characters. It is no lie that I often make a huge dent in a box of tissues when reading one of her books, tears of pain, joy and understanding are often leaking from my eyes. A reader cannot go wrong when reading one of Ms. Faye's books, they will probably find themselves feeling a bit blessed at having the experience. Treat yourself to a tremendous adventure!

Excellent

I can never put these books down. I love the story of people learning to live again that this series tells. It’s beautiful. This installment introduces us to Fallon the raven shifter and the wolves in her near orbit, as well as adding to the story of the characters from the other three books (although Kennedy has only a very small role). It adds to the story of their pack, what they’ve been through and what they’re living through now. Definitely read it, and the rest of this series!

Raven vs polar bear: what a Hoot!

I received a review copy of Raven and found it an enjoyable and moving story. Like earlier books in the series, it continues to explore themes of healing from deep trauma as well as the challenges (and delights) of building community from very unlike participants. Bitter sweet, and also very funny in parts, like the confrontation between a dread polar bear and a raven who stole from it. Each book in this series leaves me eager for more.

Can't get enough

I can't get enough of anything Audrey Faye writes, it's as simple as that. Each and every book introduces you to someone new, not always someone good. The Ghost Mountain shifters are an incredible group of individuals who all want the same things, but all have a different mode to achieve them. You can't help but love them, feel sorrow for the heartless violence they've been subjected to, and cheer right along with them for the victories they achieve.

A great Series

I have enjoyed the Ghost Mountain Wolf Shifters series. This book #4 Raven was very enjoyable and after I finished it I read it again. Lots of trauma and conflicts for all that are involved and the small things that make great impacts on the pack. I am thinking of rereading all the books. I do not do that very often but they are good to read. I do hope we have some more stories to tell and the series continues.

Another please!!

A new Audrey Faye! Soon as the notice hits I'm there, downloading. Build a nest with fresh coffee, a box or three of tissue , cookies and I'm so far into this shifter community. She shreds my heart and rebuilds and supports and encourages with so much love and courage and humor. Snarky smarts. Insanely interesting leaders and adults just trying to catch up. and at the last page I'm looking for when the next one releases!

Outstanding book in this series, Raven’s character description is awesome.

Congratulations to Audrey Faye for this extremely loving and enjoyable series. It’s extremely hard to find such interesting and exciting authors who not only write intelligently but also provide top rated plots, characters and excitement intriguing the stories. I’m really looking forward to the next book.

So Many Feels!!

First, start this series at the beginning!! That being said, I continue to be awed by Audrey Faye's ability to draw me into, not just the story, but the feelings and motivations of every character in it. After every book, I am so sad to know I will have to wait for the next in the series, but glad for the small break to give my heart time to regroup. I love this series and all the characters in it!!

A long wait for the next one...

Because I couldn’t read for 2 mos., I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to read Rebel and Raven back to back without any time in between. That was a gift. Having finished Raven now, I have to sit and wait with everybody else for the next adventure of the Ghost Mountain pack to come out. These are wonderful, wonderful books, and I really can’t wait until the next one!

Enjoyed it start to finish!

Really like this series, basically when a new one comes out, I know I will blow off my afternoon and curl up on the sofa and read. I especially enjoyed this one because of the raven/wolf dynamic. And there was even a nice surprise at the end that I totally did not expect! Looking forward to the next installment, like a visit with old friends!

Enjoyed reading

Enjoyed reading the book. Will other books by this author.

My favorite. ( so far)

My loves this pack. Faye meets all her writing goals in this series - more than resilience and belonging is acceptance and archaic kindness: the thoughtful consideration of others’ needs without the intrusion of ego. This series reinforces the daily personal lesson that though I am broken, I am still useful and a part of as much of the world as I can handle. Merci, Audrey.

Love me some baby alpha wolves

Excellent continuation. I can’t wait for the base to finally be finished and to see all the pack finally all together. I love the added outside packs coming together to help them all. Please continue writing, I can’t get enough! I would love to see a more focal pack mates be lesbian, but that’s just me. Love love love the serious and hope it never stops!

I couldn't put it down!

Once again Audrey Faye has kept me up reading her latest installment of the Ghost Mtn. Shifters. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and cannot wait for the next installment. Her characters are becoming more like friends as I get to know them through her words. I would absolutely recommend this book and series to anyone who enjoys reading for pleasure.

Enjoyable reading experience

I have been reading this series from the start. Really enjoying the story and loving the characters, I feel like anyone could relate to one of these pack members in one way or another. Personally I can relate to Brandy and understand her struggles. I’m really Looking forward to the next book and hoping more of the ghosts find their way out of the shadows.

Compelling

This series has such wonderful characters that it’s extremely difficult to wait for each new book. The author has developed them perfectly, and they are each very visible to the reader. The plot is interesting and always holds a few surprises. I think Audrey Faye has made her way back to joyous moments for her readers...just as D. G. once did...

Tears, both kinds, laughter

I have loved this series and have cried though the first four books but the best is the tear filled laughter as an eleven tear old talks to the adults about leaf covered couples returning from the woods, brown spotted lettuce and baby bunnies in the garden. Pure poetry

Audrey Faye at her best

For new readers of Ms Faye, you should know that she used to write under a different name. Those books were full of whimsy, hope, laughter and looking at the human spirit in a good way. This series has the same elements. Reading them makes a person feel better, while giving a sense of hope to the human condition. I highly recommend this book series.

Great series with lots of personality!

Would recommend this series to anyone who loves to read about families, action, and how people need to be. Written by an author that understand both. Was very sorry when the Witches ended (I still go back to mine when I need to smile) and hope that this series continues for a long time.

Another fantastic episode

Another fantastic story that continues to both weave together the threads from the previous books and move the whole story line forward. Love all of the characters and the life affirming plot lines that model the best emotional pathways without being too much of a morality tale. Don’t get hung up on the fantasy shape shifter genre - this is story telling at its best

Another great one

Each book is as great as the one before. They just keep drawing me in and quickly makes you fall in love with all the new characters as well as the older ones. I only hate having to wait for the next book in the series. Guess I need to go find her other series.

Such a good read!

I really liked this continuation of the Ghost Mountain people's stories. It reads quite smoothly even with the multiple characters telling their stories, and is such a very good plot. The problems continue from the previous volumes, but there is good growth and refinement. I like the theme of hope throughout. Thank you, Audrey, for writing such a good book!

💜💜 this Book!!

Like the rest of this series, this book brings all the feels. The community continues to heal. One of the things I love about this author’s books is that while you are meeting new characters, the characters that you already love continue to be important.

Have you read it yet?!?

After many shifter series devoured, I’ve never truly understood the concept of pack like I do now. These aren’t characters; these are dear friends. If you haven’t read the series, start with Alpha and continue until you join the rest of us as we wait for the fifth installment of this incredible, moving, enriching story!

❤️❤️❤️

I love this pack and how we get to know all their pack members and see they getting better each day!!!

Loved it

This continuing saga of a brutally betrayed (shifter) wolf pack, and all the many ways that the healing is allowed and encouraged to happen is just so good! I love learning more about raven shifters as we go.

Still a wonderful place to spend time.

World building, community, heart, restoration, homecoming, and so many more of my favorite things. Shiny is my new favorite word. I like being where this book takes me. Please deluge this author with 4+ Amazon reviews so she gets bountiful perks. 😻

OMG Yes !!!

I have been hooked on this series since book 1 . When Raven was finally released I actually cleared the entire weekend so I could read this book and it was so worth it !! I love each this entire storyline and cannot wait to see what happens next.

The amazing story continues.

This is one of the best series I have ever read. The raw emotional, th hole and love and acceptance it contains is truly beautiful. Each h book in the series concentrates on a different character but includes all the other ones and their interactions. It's truly genius

Wonderful

These people grab you by the heartstrings and don't let go. The Ghost Mountain pack had suffered for 6 long, brutal years but now they have hope.

My heart sings

These books speak to my heart and my soul in a way few authors can. Audrey Faye is a genius at creating family, pack, and heart in a way that my inner cat plays with bears in my dreams.

The Best Yet!

I was so excited to read this next installment and it did not disappoint. Raven introduces some complex new characters and let's readers of the series in on some of the secrets of the Ghost Mountain pack. Possibly the best book yet in this beautifully written series. I enjoyed it immensely. Looking forward to more.

Marvelous

This series gets better and better as it goes along. I cried a lot reading this one, but it was so good! Audrey Faye’s true talent is creating families you want to read about forever, and this talent really shines here.

Best One Yet

I’m not going to lie, this one totally had me in tears. The Ghost Mountain pack is coming together in beautiful ways. If you want a really “tug on your heartstrings” shifter series, this one is for you.

A gem

Audrey Faye is 100% my new favorite author. She tells stories of depth and worth with graceful ease and wit. They are stories that make your heart glad and your soul want to be more.

Wow, this one felt much more like book 1

Fallon is awesome. I really enjoyed this entry in the story unfolding. I'm sad to only have one more book before I'm caught up with the series, but these books are delightful.

Visit Ghost Mountain and you will want to visit more often

Fallon is finding her way and a way to bring the shadow pack together with the den....I want more Ghost Mountain, maybe a Whistler Pack story or one about the bears!

I need an org chart (or copy of the white board)

Thank you Audrey Faye for another wonderful series. I missed Debora Geary but welcomed Audrey Faye with open arms. My one complaint is the lack of an organization chart of the pack and baby packs or at least a copy of the white board. I'm old and get confused.

Happiness is a given

Reading these stories just makes your heart and soul sing with happiness. Guaranteed your breath will catch at least once somewhere in this book and tears of joy follow! Can't wait for the next installment!!!

4.5 Noooo, don’t stop now

If ever I am feeling down, this is one author I can read and know I will come out the other side, feeling connected to humanity in such a positive way. Blessings on you and yours, Audrey Faye!

Fabulous Book

Wonderful book as is this whole series. Characters are so colorful and fun and the story is uplifting and cheerful. I wish there were 100 of these books! Can't wait til the next one in the series.

Hooked, and enjoying every second of it.

Read this series and get the warm fuzzies. Truly delightful. Each carefully crafted character weaves a story rich in details, building a society that makes this reader wish for pack. . Do your spirits a favor and crack open Alpha. Happy reading!!!

Wonderful story!

At first this started with all new characters. Not only did I grow to love them, but more of the familiar shifters soon joined them. Great unexpected ending.

Better and better

I was so thrilled to see this book, I devoured it in one sitting. and I was not disappointed. history is told, new characters shine, the layers deepen, and it is one heartwarming, heartbreaking, hilarious ride. I am only mad I finished it so fast!

Fabulous series continues!

Love this series. As always, this author excels at character development. You can’t help but cheer for them as they overcome challenges. Note... This is one of those stories where you need to start from the beginning of the series for the best experience.

Can't wait for more wolves!

I love the detail and the heart in these books. This one introduces us to some new characters and they have us some insight to the past. The voices were a lot clearer in this book and it was a really great read.

Love it

I love this series and can't wait to read more. Can't put it down once you start. You will laugh cry and hold your breath waiting for the next book.

Speaks to my soul

Each of the books in this series is such a delight to read. This one settled my soul as characters listened, made small steps, and crept closer to love and home. Thank you, Audrey.

Possibly the best yet.

I don't have much to say besides these are exceptional stories that really resonate with me. Choosing to value life and love despite hardships is a concept that we can all use.

Gorgeous, soulful writing that creates a world where we can feel our animal selves too.

Loved the writing but was confused by the characters names and who they are, even though I’ve read all the books. Needs a list to refer to.

From the heart

These books are so much about loss and love and healing. They suck you in and don't let go. Now I have to wait for the next part of the story. That will be hard as I want it now.

Raven

Ghost Mountain Wolf Shifters book 1-4 are truly exciting and pronouncing reads. I couldn't put the stories down. I can't wait for book 5.

Audrey Faye Never Disappoints

The fourth book in this series continues the story with in depth characters, believable pack dynamics and stand up and cheer moments. Waiting for the 5th book. It can't come too soon.

Beatiful

I love this series because it’s about caring for others and healing and families. And how especially the broken and small are accepted, loved and celebrated. Families are those we choose.

Beautiful.

Faye writes of recovery and love with a depth that belies what one might expect from stories about shape shifters.

Continued excellence

The story continues. A new voice joins those we've already met. An interesting blend of first person narratives mingle to tell the story of how the pack continues to heal.

Another fabulous chapter in an amazing series!!

I'm a huge fan o Audrey's books whatever name she is writing under. Give yourself a gift and try one but start with the 1st installment - Alpha.

So sweet

This series is awesome. Raven in particular is so sweet it's sticky like the pups in honey lol. Really is a must read.

Loved it a lot!

This book is great. The series is awesome. If you haven't then you should. It literally game me chills. Loved it!!!

Tasty

Every time I read a book in this series I feel like I have gained ten pounds. Best comfort food in book form I've read in awhile!

Feel good reads, always zip through leaving me waiting for the next installment!

Awesome story

Awesome story. Very well written.

The raven and the pack

Fallon is a raven shifter mated to a wolf living on a wolf pack. Who gave her all to protect her pack who now has found her place in this damaged pack. Another great book with an amazing cast of characters.

As good as it gets

What a brilliant, shiny story. I have read all 4 books in as many days and now I have to wait. Ask Reilly to help you so the next book comes faster?!
