Nice book, very detailed
Received quickly, bought used and was in very good condition. More for a adult reader. Was looking for something for a 6yr old.
Detailed descriptions with satisfying photos
Surprisingly high-quality photos and descriptions. It’s always worrying to buy a book like this without seeing first how detailed it is, but I personally found this to be useful and of an elegant size for carrying with me on my adventures. I was looking specifically for a guide to north Texas mammals but this more comprehensive guide was pleasantly small in size for being so detailed.
Mammals of Texas

Kids Love This Pocket-Sized Guide
The kiddoes can quickly find out whether it's a kangaroo rat or a field mouse in the utility shed. The book's pocket size appeals to the youngsters, who refer to it frequently . . . and so do I(!). Recommended.
Five Stars
Great pocket edition, photos, tracks, scat, habitat & range. Must for outdoor enthusiasts!

Good guide
Cool book for learning what critters are in my area and how to identify their tracks when they've been around.
