Written In The Stars (Rollin On Series Early Years Book 2)

I didn’t read Begin Again before I read the Rollin On series the first time...but Bryan’s story just makes the series that much better. I can’t even put into it’s how amazing this novella is. I love Bobby and I knew I’d love Bryan—but be prepared to be crushed after you fall in love with him. Without Bryan and Nelly there is no Rollin On series...so I’m glad we get to see “where it all began”. Now to go mop up some tears and reread one of my all-time favorite series. Emilia—I’m glad that Bryan wouldn’t shut up. Even though it hurts, he’s amazing. I wish we could have him back as much as you do but he made his boys amazing men for all of us. Thank you for bringing them to life for us.

If I read a series based about a family and their lives, I normally never read prequels about their parents or grandparents. I want to keep the older generation as the monarch. That's just how I am! When I first was introduced to The Rollers I was in love with this family. They were actually a lot like my family, which drew me in to read more. Getting to see their mom, it made me wonder where the guys got their personalities from because that was not all Nelly...it also pulled at my curiosity when we saw a glimpse of the dad in one of the books. I wanted to get to know Bryan even though we know the outcome. I'm glad Emilia Finn wrote this short story and let us get a glimpse of Bry and Nelly's lives.

I have read the Rollin On series and have been going through withdrawals. Bryan and Nelly's story touched my heart and cracked it a little. You showed us the man who taught our Rollin crew how to be men and I thank you. It is strange how I watch my own sons and wonder wish that they had an influence like Bryan or Bobby...I hope I am a mom like Nelly. Emilia please continue to write books that keep us in touch with our Rollin family because we miss tbem all.

After reading the Rolling On series and knowing how this was going to end this book, while short broke me, I put off reading it because I knew how it was going to end, but I read it this morning and I was correct, it broke me harder and faster than any other of the Kincaid stories. Amazing read, a little creepy (kinda like think of your parents making you), but an amazing love story, this book hurt me in ways I couldn't imagine and I'm still crying as I write this review! Nelly and Bobby have a love so amazing and strong that could only show their kids what was truly important!

I love love love these books! So it's hard to write this review. It wasn't enough. Bryan needs his own book telling how he grew up, why was he living in his car, what happened in his life that he grew up to have the fierce loyalty and moral compass he has? Then another book on him and nelly. How they met. What made him decide she was the one? What happened after high school. How they lived and face the trials of life as she went to college. Life as a growing family. And ultimately Bryans death. And then them a book about nelly and the boys after Bryan died. How Nelly delt with his death and how she was able to raise all those boys and keep them in line. They all turned out to be great guys but after Bryans death they easily could have gone on an entirely different direction. This was just too short of a story for the patriarchs of the Kincaid family.

I am so glad I got a sneak peek into Bryan and Nellys world. I feel like I could read them forever! If you somehow stumble across this book before you read the others, go back to the beginning. I feel like I am part of the Rollers. I never want their story to end! That are a tight knit family I feel like I am now honored to be a part of.

Some writers put pen to paper and let their feelings flow. Emilia puts pen to paper and lets the feeling of her characters flow. Her characters have taken life outside of the pages of her books and you feel like you are a part of their family. I am emotionally invested every time I open one of her books. And when Nelly tells her story, you feel the magic between her and Bryan. The magic is still there years after Bryan is gone. Like I said, forget Romeo and Juliette, love like Nelly and Bry.

So, for reals. Bryan Kincaid. HE WAS AMAZING!! We knew he would be right? He’s the father of our favorite men - Bobby, Jimmy and Aiden. How can he not be amazing? He’s gruff, crude, bad, while at the same time he is sweet and romantic. He’s one of the sexiest characters I’ve ever read. Bryan wants his girl. He’s going to get her. The capitulation was amazing. This short story pulls you in, makes you fall in love, and leaves you breathless for more. Once you start this book, you’ll be hooked on Emilia Finn.

This took us back to the beginning, where the story started. Every single character in the series becomes a part of who you are and it all started with Bryan and Nelly. If you pass this book or the series up then you’re missing out on one of the most amazing reads I’ve ever had the chance to read. The characters in this book become family

This book had me in tears. Bry & Nelly— their love is like no other; definitely written in the stars. Now I know where their boys get it from. I love how they struggled, were so broke but their love for each other never falters. That’s the kind of love many people seek but never find. I love the Kincaids and can’t wait to read the next book.

It was so much fun to read where all the roller boys get their genes from. When I first read this book, it took me on a journey where I get to know more about Bryan and Nelly's love. It's a beautiful addition to the roller series. I just want to read Bryan again and again and never let go! He has a special place in my heart now! ♥️

I quite literally hit every emotion here. I laughed, got pissed, was so excited, got confused (for a short period), & ended in tears. These are the authors I love, the ones that can bring out every emotion. Absolutely loved this book. I’m moving straight on to the next one right now.

Bryan is everything the roller boys are and I love it! I love they got so much from their daddy. Bryan makes my heart happy and sad because he was gone so soon and didn’t get to meet his grand babies he would have adored. They all have a big ol angel looking out for them. It was nice to meet Bryan can’t wait to read the next story. Thanks for talking Bryan.

This entire series has had me ditching adulting for the last week. Such a heart bending amazeballs series. Lovely world building. I want to be apart of this amazing family so bad. Warning: you won't be able to stop.

Read this novella a while back. Doing a read of the whole series and discovered I didn't tell Emilia Finn how much I loved this. Thank you emilia for giving us grandpa Bryan's story!

I just can't put into words what her books do to a reader. She takes you along for the ride. I've read and re-read the Rollin On series so much, but I still pick up something new every time.

Seriously? How in the world can someone write a novella that is so incredibly rich and consuming? Bryan Kincaid is amazing. I want to grab hold of him and never let him go. Bad boy, sweetheart, funny and sexy ass hell Bryan is everything anyone could ever want... This book made me feel so much...and left me needing more. ❤️❤️ Please keep writing about Bryan and his legacy!

I just finished the entire Rollin On series. I laughed, laughed until I cried, shed some sad tears and then ugly cried so hard I had to turn off my reader while I composed myself. If you want to read about famous who have each other’s backs, this is a must read.

All the emotions came out with this one! I fell more in love with the OG Bryan! A true knight in shining armor that anyone could fall in love with! Baby Bobby- how much he adored his Daddy! Tears are falling like rain drops into my Kindle! I can’t even handle it! Thank you Emilia another masterpiece that ripped my heart out like a Mr. Potato head!

I just love Emilia's books, and this didn't disappoint! Emilia has a talent for creating characters that draw you in and hold you until the very end. If you love the Rollin' On Series, you need to read this.

I liked reading about this side of Nelly. It helps understand how she loves her boys even more and how she's such a good woman. Plus why the boys are good men.

I loved getting to know Bryan and Nelly’s story. I loved the way Nelly sees Bryan in each of their three boys and how much love she still carries for him.

I am blown away by how simply and elegantly my heart is broken and mended all at once by the love that Nelly and Bry share. The kind of love that fostered a legacy. 🖤
