Raven and Magnus, a magnetic force!

Wow, what a good read this was. Magnus and Raven, a love of two that melted into one. They were so in tuned to one another. I love how they selflessly without thinking ready to give up their lives for one another. I love the way Raven kept saving Magnus life, not once but three times. Who does that?! A woman with a pure heart and soul. Magnus did the same for her. He suffered the most heinous humiliation of them all by the hands of his own brother(Fender)in front of all the guards. It broke my heart when he showed Raven what his brother did to him just to prove a point that he(Fender)was still the boss. But when you hear their back story of what happened that night they got away from their psycho father. You understand why Fender is the way he his. It especially broke my heart when Magnus told the story of his sister his other half. It just endeared me to him more. Melanie, Raven's sister to me was just a waste of space. She served absolutely no purpose to me at all. She had only her beauty going for her and that was it. She was weak and shallow. But she did love her sister. I loved the way she slapped the shut out of Fender, when he insulted Raven. That was totally unexpected. But I blamed the fact that they were captured in the first place because was so shallow and dumb. Thank you Penelope Sky for another great story and to allow me to get an ARC, to read and review on my own. It was worth every page. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Ended a little too softly but I still loved it

Things pick up right where The Chateau ended , the camp is rebuilt and back up & running. Raven & Magnus’s story continues after he’s been tortured as punishment for what Raven did, and she is returned to the camp as well. Melanie goes back to Fender in an attempt to get him to release her sister ( finally she does something for someone other than herself... or does she) I wanted to slap some sense into Melanie , she was so dam annoying , and Raven continuing to make excuses for her was almost as bad. I really struggle with characters like Melanie, selfish , spoilt and stupid. Magnus battled with his devotion to his brother and his love for Raven , but love for both is what wins in the end. The end seemed a little rushed and all resolved too easily , Fender was so against change yet seemed to flip quite easily , it was still good , and I have really enjoyed these books. The basis of this story is around a drug camp which is worked by women kidnapped , this may not be ok for sensitive people , so please go in prepared. I found it less stressful than the first book.

An amazing book!

I want to start this review by saying I absolutely loved that it was told by Magnus’ point of view. I think I’ve ever read a book where it is entirely told by the mans POV. This book consumed all of my time and space in my head. I absolutely adore the relationship between Magnus and Raven. It was so good and it didn’t seem like a far fetch from reality, they made each other better, stronger. Fender was an epic tool, well until the end, and Melanie was a silly girl, again, until the end. This book has everything I love in a book, and kept me captivated. Penelope Sky never fails to rule my life with her books.

Read book 1 and 2 in less than a day lol

Well written and kept me up all night reading. ****What I liked*** My favorite part of the story was Magnus and Fender. I loved the loyalty and love between the brothers. No matter what happened they had each other’s back. Magnus was a good guy but he really gave in to Raven a little too much. Would have liked to have seen him tell her no every once in a while instead of agreeing to everything she asked. Other than that he was a great character and I loved how loyal he was. ***** What I didn’t like**** OMG I can’t stand Raven lol. Through both books she just came off as entitled and very judgy. It was always I want this and I want that and I feel this and I feel that. She never cared about anyone’s feelings but her own. She always thought she was right and every time she asked Magnus to do something she came off as very manipulative. After all this I ended up liking her sister more than her. Honestly she is one of my least favorite h. I would roll my eyes when she started with her requests....even at the end she still had a request and I felt like she asked too much of him and it was always about her and no one else. Will read the other books because I like her sister and would love to read her story.

“She Does It Again”

Wow, She continues to blow these stories out of the water, where she gets the inspiration to write so many block buster books is phenomenal.....and I loved how she mentioned the Barsetti wine that was a little treat , even tho that story line is over .... I enjoyed every single book ....

Magnus and Raven

Well written once again and I finished the book in one sitting. The love she has for him makes her do crazy things and the same for him. But their love and desire is stronger then anything else. Nothing can keep them apart. The torture they both had to endure. Penelope wasn’t joking when she said this series is darker like the others, but well worth it. Can’t wait until the next book.

The Camp

I very much enjoyed Raven and Magnum 's story. I was glad it turned out to end in a good way. I felt good when the female prisoners being used and held against their will to put the drugs together got released. Enjoyed this very much!

Unexpected

This book is completely different that what I expected from Penelope Sky. The writing is great but story line is overwhelming to read at points. Raven and Magnus both are fighters. He helps her when she needs it the most. This book is quite shocking in many ways and could have triggers for some people.

Definitely didn't disappoint

This was a perfect follow-up to the first book. You couldn't help falling in love with Magnus. I enjoyed the different situation/story. It was done very well.

Uplifting

I really loved the relationship between Raven and Magnus and love they sheared. The story as it unfolded held my every thought until I finished it.

I really loved the relationship between Raven and Magnus and love they sheared. The story as it unfolded held my every thought until I finished it.

Wow.

This was an emotional roller coaster! But so incredibly good! I can’t believe there’s two other books after this one!? Not sure I’ll survive.

Refreshingly Different

That book has the magic I used to feel with Penelope Sky's books. Also, very unique! Loved it. Looking forward to the next set.

Chateau 2

It was exciting and a page turner. Be ready to leave everything else in the background and get a comfortable seat. Great love story.

Penelope Sky

I absolutely loved this book. It was very violent at times but also a beautiful love story with a marvelous ending

Good 😌

Loved this book- some scenes could have been exaggerated more but over all loved it. I liked book 1 more though 😅

Loved it!

Penelope Sky did not disappoint with The Camp. Loved the story told from Magnus’s POV. I had a hard time putting the book down and lost a night’s sleep, but worth it! Thank you!

You won't be able to put id down.

Must read the 1st book to get through the 2nd. Penelope Sky is an amazing story writer. I recommend all her books

Couldn't stop reading!

Suspenseful and grabs your attention immediately. Magnus and Ravens love and compassion are like no other. I can't wait for The Boss.

Good but not what I hoped

I was so excited for this book, but it was not all that I hoped for. It was good, but it seemed to fall a little flat. Still a good read.

WOW

All I can say is Wow! This book is amazing! I love how it all falls together.. so much was packed into this book, that it was exciting the whole time! I love penelope's books, she never disappoints!

AMAZING

I loved it!! It kept me in suspense to the very end. I loved how at the end of the day, it’s a story about redemption & making things right. I can’t wait to read Fender’s story!! Thank you Penelope!!💗

Great author

Another great series from Penelope Skye

A good read on a cold winter’s day

Not as good as the first book but still worth the read. The first part of the book was slow moving but the second half helped it come to a good ending for our two main characters.

A captivating read

Could not put the book down. The story between Magnus and Raven is beautifully written. Looking forward to reading The Boss

Amazing!!

Penelope Sky is by far one of my favorite authors. I loved this book as much as I have loved all of her books.

Outstanding

Loved it! She never disappoint!

OMG

absolutely amazing story. She never fails to deliver

Fantastic read

The Camp by Penelope Sky. This second book in the Chateau Series, was as fantastic as the first. Penelope Sky does not disappoint. The Camp starts right where the Chateau ended. This is from the point of view by one of the brothers, Magnus. Magnus had to pay his dues after his prisoner/lover escaped and returned to ruin the camp and free the women. Raven broke Magnus’s heart and betrayed him. He helped her get out and figured that was the end but when she returned and burnt the camp down and failed, he paid the price dearly, not only emotionally but physically also. Magnus made many enemies and has to watch his back at all times with the guards. He can trust no one there at the camp. Fender caught Raven again and returned her to the camp. Raven also paid the price dearly. The guards at the camp have free rein to do as they please to these women but when they go to far with Raven. Will Magnus see past his anger and betrayal by her and help, or is he too angry and betrayed to help. Her sister Melanie had returned to his brother, Fender where she lives a posh lifestyle. She is in no way a prisoner. But she returned to Fender to free her sister from the camp. Fender is so obsessed with Melanie, read the book to see if she reciprocates his affections and loves him. This book has many surprises in it and a lot of action. Fender can’t see past his greed and anger that he is doing is doing business with a person Magnus knows to be bad news. He turns out to be exactly what he thought. Fender learned the hard way that he could not trust this new client. This book is full of action and surprises and will not disappoint. I could not put it down I wanted to keep reading and reading. Join me in reading the chateau series, book 2 The Camp.” I’m ready to read the next book 3 “The Boss.”

Slower pace with too idealistic ending

This book ia the conclusion of Magnus and Raven's story. Continue from where The Chateu ended, we see how angry Magnus to Raven. How Fender punish Magnus for his mistake. How Raven except her punishment. But after that the story line got to slower pace. Told from Magnus POV, we learn how he feel on Raven's action. How he handle the other guards anger toward his "betrayel" and i love every second of his reaction towards them. Its smart and precisely what an alpha would do. And Raven. This girl is tough. But the way she jugde Fender and Melanie for me is hypocrite. With Melanie, she in the wrong too for puting her self as her mother more than a sister. Disabling her in a sense so judging her stupid to choose Fender, is nothing to brag about. And judging Fender after she know his and Magnus background while Magnus has done the same thing as Fender? Not everything is black n white. I'll just say good thing she finally sees Fender isnt that all evil. And Magnus, i dont like the way he see Melanie as D. U. M. B. Cause not every smart girl need to be outspoken. This girl have what it takes to tame the evil in Fender. Give her some credit! Magnus n Raven chemistry is strong. They would literaly die for each other. I love that. Bit spoiler here. For me the peak of this book is at the end. And the end? Bit unrealistic for me. Too idealistic. But the waythe author write the whole story? I love how she keep us on our sit.

Worth the read

Admittedly I did not enjoy the first book. Wasn’t really looking forward to this one but because I own every book she’s ever written, I was going to read it anyways. I’m glad I did. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved the interaction between Raven and Magnus and the development of their relationship. Even though he was so angry with her after what she did to the camp. He was still able to slowly forgive her, she had to take a knife wound to the stomach, for him to slowly start coming around. But hey, what’s a little knife wound to prove your love lol? I liked that she also included the relationship with fender and Magnus in the storyline. Showed that they were often on the opposite spectrum but they still loved each other and would never harm each other within reason. I did not especially care for Raven in the first book. I kind of felt like she was a little entitled and irrational. But I saw in this book that she was fearless and loved hard! She still went back to the camp when she did not have to just to be with the man that she loved. That takes a lot to put yourself in a place that is physically and mentally draining and abusive just so you can be with your love. I knew this book was going to be long but it didn’t seem as long as it was. It flowed very well and I really had a hard time putting it down. I hope book 3 is as good as this one. Because I am interested to see how fender and Melanie’s relationship developed. I’m not sure if I would’ve made Magnus give all his money away but I see why she did. Overall good book

Raven and Magnus Just Awesome BRAVO Penelope

What a book, This was a fantastic read. Very long but worth the wait. It picks up right after the events of the chateau where Magnus feeling betrayed by Raven. Raven is such a fearless and remarkable person. We finally get the back story to what happened to Magnus and Fender Penelope really outdid herself with this series and this book was incredible. The twists and turns were great. The suspense was at a all time high filled with such intensity. I couldn’t stop reading this book to see how it would all turn out for Raven and Magnus and it took a lot of reading to get to the finish line. But it was worth it. As I stated in my review of this first book in this series, this was such a departure for Penelope but it shows you what an awesome author she is who wrote a new series so different than her other series and was able to be successful in this new area which in fact I found so interesting. The characters, especially Magnus and Fender and their back story was incredible and how and why they became to be who they were as adults, especially Fender. But this story was really about Raven and Magnus and how their story evolved from the beginning of the book to the end. All in all, I loved this book and can’t wait for the next book in the series. BRAVO Penelope once again and no spoilers here. You will have to read it and it is a series definitely not to be missed.

Not your Cinderella story

ARC REVIEW **********SPOILERS********* Magnus had met with the ultimate betrayal when and almost his life. He went above and beyond, and being disloyal to his brother to help Raven. He’s is now the outcast at “The Camp”, after the whole site was burned down. Anger, resentment filled his hatred for what Raven did. With no regrets, What happened at the camp, Raven felt good she that she was able to free majority of the prisoners. Even with being captured again, she knew morally the right decision was made. Magnus struggles with his feelings about Raven, even after the destruction she created. With all the chaos going on in his head, he spiraling down the dark path reliving the awful night when his family was destroyed to where him and Fender ended establishing the camp. So much have unfolded at the camp, personally and within the business. There are winners and losers throughout this story, and the unexpected occurs at the camp. New alliances are formed but is too late. Great story, didn’t want it to end!!!

AMAZING! Best Penelope has ever written!

Raven and Magnus are back and I couldn’t be more excited! Raven just turned her back on the man that gave up everything to set her free.... and now she’s back to exactly where it started . As always with Penelope Sky expect the unexpected! Her heroines are always strong and unpredictable but Raven takes it to the extreme! You never know what tricks she may have up her sleeve, she’s got wit, steam and you all have a friend just like her! This unprecedented strength that even though she’s back and worse than it started she will always remain strong and in control, even when everything being stripped from her! With this taking place in France it has such a different feel than anything she’s ever written! It will keep you on the edge of your seat begging to end! Raven and Magnus have always had this bond and connection and while Raven acted in a way she can never take back, will she ever be able to gain his trust back? Or will she always question what may have happened between them is she didn’t set their camp on fire! Grab on and hold tight for this amazing story from Penelope Sky!

Raven & Magus - such a connection

Only a few authors can make me stay up all night into the morning reading their books! Penelope Sky is one of those authors for me. The Camp starts off just where the Chateau ends. It is as intense as the first book! I am definitely loving this series. There is such a strong emotional connection between Magus and Raven that is continued in book 2. Raven has been captured again while Magnus is super mad with her. He feels as though he can not trust her but still there is a connection between these two that cannot be denied. It amazes me how Raven accepts her punishment. I am still trying to understand Melanie and Fender relationship. But as we know with Penelope Sky's characters there are very layered. This story is dark, emotional and romantic. Even though I know I should hate Magnus, there is something about him that I really like, maybe even love. Now to wait for The Boss! Reasons I enjoyed this book: Entertaining, Haunting, Page-turner, Romantic, Twisted, Wonderful characters I received an e-copy of the book from the author but I am not obligated to review.

What’s next...

The Camp is a good read! I just finished it and I’m not exactly sure how I feel about everything yet. While I enjoyed a majority of the story, towards the end I struggled with liking certain characters. I felt for Magnus the most, torn between his brother and the woman he cares about. Raven is just not for me, she has her good moments but I don’t do well with nagging and ultimatums. Specially when people use certain cards against you, knowing it puts you on the spot. Can’t say too much on Melanie, but I can’t wait to read more of her story. Fender is a tough one for me, him and Magnus have been through so much it’s easy to understand why he feels the way he does. Doesn’t justify some of his choices though. Either way the book was a really great read, I definitely don’t regret reading it. I’ve been a long time reader of Penelope’s and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon! Now to wait and see what The Boss has in store for us!

A magnificent read!

Ms. Sky has quickly become one of my top authors to read, granted I haven't gotten a chance to start at the beginning with her books, but the ones I have had the privilege to read have been magnificent. I absolutely love Raven and her kindness, gratitude and her way of always trying to save her sister. Her sister is very impulsive and never thinks about the dangers and consequences, she just jumps in to things that will eventually either get her in trouble or pretty much in danger of getting herself killed. If it weren't for Raven, she'd be dead by now! This 2nd installment really had my undivided attention. I just couldn't put this book down! From the beginning all the way til the end it was just full of angst that had me practically biting my nails. I am so, so happy to have gotten to read Raven and Magnus' story and read how it all unraveled in the end, definitely work the read!

Great Read

I really did enjoy this book even though it was fairly predictable. Which was kinda of let down It definitely wasn't what I expected. Book 2 continue from where The Chateu ended, we saw how angry Magnus is towards Raven. How his brother Fender punished Magnus for his screwup. How Raven except her punishment like a BOSS!! I've never met a more stubborn heroine like Raven but I liked her still the same. It didn't mean that she wasn't annoying at time but I take over her sister Melanie that's for sure. I guess I'm being to harsh against Melanie she did have what it took to tame the evil in Fender I guess. Also I didn't care much for the ending it seem bit unrealistic for me. Overall I did enjoyed Magnus and Raven love story. Now I can't wait for The Boss. As always my review are totally voluntarily no monetary compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.

Fantastic!

Okay Penelope how do your books get better every time!? Seriously I get more & more excited everytime you release a new series. I've fallen in love with each & every single book you've written. This series has to be one of my top 5 series to read. I'm so glad that their characters got to change & develop. I honestly thought that Magnus was gonna hate Raven forever. I'm so glad that he came to his senses finally and realized that he loved her. That he's in love with her. I got so many heart putters reading the romantic parts, even some of the non romantic parts. He's so passionate about thing when he sets his mind to it. Raven is such a strong woman. She stays true to what she believes in and what is right. She stays true to herself and never gives up! No matter how hard or frustrating things get. I'm sad this is then end for them, but I'm excited about Fendor's & Melanie's story 💜💜

The Chateu and The Camp *****+

These books are so different from Penelope's other stories but you can certainly tell she wrote them. Strong willed characters make this a great read. Raven and her sister return to camp to try to free the other women but ends in disaster. After helping Raven escape, Magnus is destroyed by her betryal and hate fills him. Fender does not kill her, instead punishes her by forbiding her to leave camp until death. Regardless of his feelings magus protects Raven from the other guards and slowly his walls breakdown. I love that we find out more of Magnus and Fenders back story and how they came to be in the business and what made these two brothers regardless of their disagreements loved each other unconditionally. The same with Raven and Melanie. I couldn't put this down. I was excited to see that we haven't read the last of these characters!

Perfect suspenseful romance duet!

This is the ending to Magnus and Raven’s epic story. It picks up right where The Chateau left off: with Magnus beyond irate with Raven for burning the camp down. This whole story is told from Magnus’ point of view. We get to see inside of his troubled head. How he battles with his feelings for Raven and how he feels she betrayed him. We learn about about him and his brother Fender’s past. And how that shaped them into the men they are. This story was something else. I was enamored with the first book and this one was just as perfect. Penelope Sky’s imagination is beyond incredible. She weaves these unique tales that suck you in and won’t let go. There are some darker themes is this duet, so beware. But the light that shines at the end is worth the dark. Another perfect suspenseful romance from this talented author.

A UNFORGETTABLE BOOK!!

MUST READ SERIES!! This is the 2nd book in The Chateau Series. After waiting months for this book I knew I wouldn't sleep much when I started it. Unfortunately I had Covid and had to rest some! I was enthralled from the very beginning of the book. As usual I truly loved this book but there were some things I just couldn't wrap my brain around like the things Fender did to Maxus and he let him. Especially his punishment. I mean I would never mutilate my sibling EVER. I thought Raven asked too much of Magus at the end. I mean give everything away? Who does that. I always give Penelope's Books 5 Stars but had to take away 1 Star away for my small disappointments. Something was just a little off in this one. But would completely RECOMMENDED READ!!

Love it!

I loved the book and loved reading Magnus side. The passion between Raven and Magnus is one that tugs at your heart. I felt my chest tightened many many times because of their connections. I felt the passion and want it. I couldn’t stop reading because I wanted to know what would happened. You can feel the connection between the two brothers Magnus and Fender. It’s such a sad story on what they went through at such young age. You can see and feel how two people share a tragedy but what path the choose to go down. It’s not everyone choose dark path or light path. I enjoyed the action in the book and the love stories. The book has a lot a passion in it with more than one characters. Couple’s love, brother’s love, sister’s love and love/caring in general.

Strength and respect

I can't tell you how many times I said "WOW" while reading the second installment to the Chateau series and I loved it. The Camp picks up at the cliffhanger left by Penelope Sky. Magnus is hurt not just physically but emotionally as well. After all she betrayed him. Raven just couldn't live with those innocent souls she and her sister left no matter how much she felt for Magnus. There were parts in this book that are so graffic and described to be easily visualize while reading. With loss is strength and respect, forgiveness and love. I truly enjoyed this sequel and look forward to the next. It was an honor to be a member of this ARC group.

A great ending to the camp

Such a great ending to this story! Magnus and Raven are back and so it the page turning drama! You can’t help but place your mind inside this story! In Paris and at the camp. Seeing what they are because this author does such a great job at making it seem real. I love these characters. I like Raven a lot more in this book than the first. And of course Magnus was just as dreamy. There was a little repetitiveness throughout the book and the ending was quick and rushed to be but man I loved how everything played out and how we got to see their lives happen. “And you did save them... because you saved me.”

Page turner

Magnus and Raven gave me panic attacks in this entire book. I’ve never met a more stubborn Heroine that I completely agreed with. It didn’t mean that she wasn’t annoying. Lol. This book was full of action and emotion. We never knew how things would turn and that is what made this book all the more better. The drama and anger touch you as you read. The love Magnus gave to those around him was inspiring even to those that has done him wrong. And don’t get me started on Fender. I was hoping the entire time that it was a heart in their somewhere. Overall, this was a great book. It was a little dragged out at some points but definitely worth the read.

Absorbing story but not my favorite ending

I really enjoyed the fact that this story is told from Magnus' point of view. Magnus has suffered since the death of his family but he still retained his soul and it shows every time he goes against his brother. Raven is strong as she is returned to the camp. So much happens to Magnus in this book that it is surprosing that he still carries on and runs the camp for his brother. I really couldn't put this story down and even though the ending is everything that Raven wants, I found that her morals and wants didn't really make me as happy as Raven and Magnus were supposed to be. But I really do recommend reading this story.

The heat break and LOVE, what a great series!!

The Camp picks up right where the Chateau left off. Burning the camp down didn't change anything! The writing is amazing, you can feel the hatred of all the guards towards Magnus. Raven did what she had to do so she could sleep at night, she had to free them all, not that it changed anything! Her love for Magnus never changed, and I believe that deep down Magnus respected her for burning down the camp. The road back together was not smooth and Magnus' brother (Fender) didn't make it any easier. But I feel like there just might some goodness in Fender. I cannot wait for the next book!! Highly recommend this series!

Great Story

This story about Magnus and Raven grabbed a hold of me from the very beginning. It resonates with my soul and was such a breathtaking and emotional read for me. I swear to you that every time I read a new book from this author, her writing gets better and better every time, which I don't even know how that’s even possible. This book is raw, real and one big emotional rollercoaster. You will not want to put it down. The suspense, struggle, love, devotion and mystery will keep you on your toes. I highly recommend reading this, if you are new to this author, it’s a great sampling of the amazing and touching work she does.

Fabulous

Hate, betrayal, honor, punishment, deception, understanding, compromise, morality, and vengeance are all major factors in this storyline. And if that is not enough Penelope Sky also throws in trust, hope and love. With each and every chapter my nerves were on edge and my heart soared and plummeted. This is not as book for the faint of heart but for those readers that need the grit and grime of angst while also needing the peace and joy of a wonderful romance. What does not kill us makes us stronger and the binds that hold a family together are stronger than they appear. Another fabulous read from Penelope Sky.

Contradicted love

Torn love. Didn't though Magnus, was going to forgive Raven, and end up together. Torn between his loyalty to his brother and the love of his life, Magnus decerve admiration all this. Helping to rebuild the camp after Raven burn it down, saving the lives od the women there, forbidden getting killed at the Red Snow knowing he will pay high, and ignoring the consequences, tell us how much he love the woman that make him lose some part of his body. Fender and Melanie, seems getting what they want --- make belive love, she changed a bit making him freed her sister, but still acting like weak link in others lives. Best wishes to all of them.

Great Read!!

Penelope has done it again. Magnus has a wonderful heart, because if my brother did to me what Fender did to him over Raven. I wouldn't have been so forgiven. He had no hard feelings towards his brother, but Raven was whole other story. Raven caused all the trouble and was right back at the camp. Melanie was living it up with Fender while her sister was working her behind off. I like that they were about to be there for each other. Raven was working my nerves and Magnus to give away all his money. I really like the ending, but hoping to read Fender side of the story.

Things we do for love

Things picked up where they left off from the first one. Magnus is tortured for the things he did for Raven by non other than his brother. Raven is back to working in the camp with the other girls being punished daily for her actions. Through everything they have been through they still love each other deeply and dearly, they find themselves pulled back together. We get to see more of Melanie’s story with Fender. This book in this series is another great edition. I can’t wait to see where the next story goes with the next book.

Real love

Wow what amazing book! Of course it was another read that I did nothing all day because I couldn't put it down. The relationship is just one that you want to look up too. They would die for each other. They love each other for who each are not money or looks. In this book all realiships grew. I love how long the book was! Spoiler*** I would never ever guessed his brother would cut his ball off!!! Mind was blown on that one. Penelope Sky has a way to make you feel like your right there with them. My emotions were all over. Great way to finish but I want to know what happens in there life together now with out the camp!! ❤❤❤ Job well done again

Something different yet WONDERFUL!

This book continues where The Chateau left off & brings Magnus and Ravens story to an end! I think this book was absolutely beautifully and yet so much simpler compared to the other books Penelope has written. This book really focused on the love Magnus & Raven had for one another & how at the end of the day it was really all they ever needed or wanted. There is still a lot of action in the book & definitely had me turning page after page with no breaks in between. I loved how genuine their relationship felt and the way the book ended. It was a nice change from what we typically see from Penelope but yet still had that fierce heroine & and alpha male that I crave in books. If you loved Penelope Sky, then you should already know this is just another EXCELLENT READ that should be bought and read IMMEDIATELY . 10/10 recommend. ❤️

Till the end...

OMG!!!I LOVED THIS BOOK!! it had everything in one...I loved these new characters and the story line..I just don't have the words. The main character raven and magnus..were just in tuned with one another as they were one person...at the end no matter the differences they did what was best for them...and I respect that... All I can say I read this book in a day..just couldn't put it down...now I'll go and feed the kids...lolol... 😂😂😂until March 23...then I'll have to read about fender and melanie...😉

Another great story

The Camp starts off where The Chateu Raven makes it out this time without getting caught with Magnus help. Magnus really cares for her to risk his reputation and life at the camp. Ravens guilt being let out made her determined to return to the camp to free her sister and the others that had been kidnapped. It was such a touching and gut wrenching story about the darkness and how some are forced to live. Penelope Sky is such an amazing author and this is another great series.

Wow...This story

This book! I was totally sucked into it just like the Chateau. Raven and Magnus story is dark. The love she has for him is unconditional. The same goes for Magnus, even though he feels sparred by her betrayal. But their love and desire is stronger then anything else. Nothing can keep them apart. The torture they both have to endure is heartbreaking. You will not be disappointed with this book. A must read. Great work Penelope Sky. I can’t wait until the next book. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Good read!

I didn't know what to expect when The Camp started, the continuation of The Chateau. Interesting to read in the male POV. Magnus is almost a super hero in strength and his evolving morals brought on by Raven's high standards. I loved the characters but thought Raven was over the top righteous. I loved the relationship between the siblings but them interacting with the other's brother/sister was harsh but part of the drama. It was a wild ride and great read. Looking forward to Fender and Melanie's story. Love Penelope Sky's books!

Great read

Penelope Sky is amazing. This book drew me in and would not let me go. Magnus and raven has so much chemistry that he can't deny her for long. Raven is a badness. Her sister is just plain stupid. I'm still not sure if I like Melanie or not. Magnus brother fender is just pure evil. He makes up for some of the things he has done by the end but he still has a long way to go. I can't wait for the next book. I received this book as a arc for a honest review

Another amazing story!

If you love dark romance and suspense then you'll love The Camp! This is the second book in a trilogy so you are left on a cliffhanger but no worries since book 3 releases in March. So, this is completely different from Ms. Sky’s typical underworld crime romances. I originally thought this was going to be a duet, but there is at least a third book scheduled. This was an intense story and I can’t wait to see what happens next in The Boss. #MSBB

Queen of the Dark

This story was so captivating I absolutely could not put it down once I started reading it. Magnus and Raven finally get their HEA but the price they have to pay is very high. The rollercoaster til the end was so worth the tears and the anguish your emotions have. This was a dark and emotional story but one worth the time to read. The ways Penelope Sky can make you fall for the bad boy and forgive them is so amazing. She is the Queen of the Dark.

Loved it!!!

Things pick up right where The Chateau ended, Magnus's paid his due and rebuilt the camp and had it back in running in no time. Raven is returned to the camp as where she has to pay for the mess she created and Melanie goes back to Fender in an attempt to get him to let her sister go. Magnus battled with his devotion to his brother and his love for Raven. They book got a little rushed but still end perfectly can't wait for the next one!!!

Penelope’s writing just gets better and better.

Magnous and Raven are a forced to be wreckend with. This story is honestly hard to read at points, I meaning this in a good way but the brutality of this book is hard at times. That saying it’s a story line of what family means and no matter what love can conquer all. I have lost lots of sleep cause I couldn’t put this book down. Really have enjoyed reading this story and I loved reading it from Magnous POV too.

Another great from a favored author! Love Raven and Magnus!!!

I have to admit I am biased, because Penelope Sky is one of my favorite authors. I haven’t been disappointed yet. Raven and Magnus do not disappoint. I live when a couple is very in tune with one another. Still very disappointed in Melanie’s actions/personality - she is the reason she and Raven are in this predicament. I can’t wait for The Boss! Job well done Penelope!!!

Demanding.

So I loved this book !!! I absolutely feel horrible for Magnus to lose what he lost is unimaginable. I love the story line and this book is so different from Penelope’s other books. We get the book from Magnus POV and I love that. I feel for Raven but I don’t think it’s right of her to constantly ask Magnus to kill his brother or give up his money. Other than that I liked her strength

Mangus!!!!!!

I just want to say I love that this book was written in Mangus prospective throughout the entire book!!! I feel like it allowed for a whole other side to the story. Mangus showed so much growth during this book and to admit what his life was like! It was an amazing read and keeps you on your toes about what is going to happen/end. Expect the unexpected in this one because I didn’t expect some of the events that occurred in this one!

Loved it. Well worth the wait.

I’ve been ready for this book since I finished reading The Chateau two days into it. I took my time reading this book, because I’ve anticipated it soo much. It did not let down one of my favorite lines in the book is “ “I…” Chew chew chew. “Didn’t know…” Chew chew chew. Mumble mumble. “Awake…”” I’m not sure why. But I found this hysterical. I cannot wait for the release of The Boss.

No cliffhanger

Picks up right where the last one ends. No cliffhangers. The whole time first half of the book I was frustrated with the main character and even more frustrated with the main characters sister. The main character I got over, she redeemed herself but the sister. I just want to yell and scream at her (if only she was real) great action towards the end of the book and over too quick.

Magnus and Raven

Picks up where the Chateau leaves off. Magnus is furious with Raven. He gave her a future and now she is a prisoner again and he also paid the price. He wants nothing to do with her but when he sees that the guards are torturing her he protects her again. He doesn’t want to forgive her but he is softening. Can they find their way to be happy together and get away from the camp?

Love Magnus and Raven!

The Camp picks up right after The Chateau ended and told from the point of view of Magnus, which I loved. There were some tough parts throughout this book but the connection these two characters have is strong and hard to break. The suspense aspect of the story was still there and will make you turn page after page to get to the end. I can't wait to read the next book!

Amazing story!

Magnus and Raven are amazing together! I love the storyline for these characters and love how they come out on top together. Raven bring this light towards Magnus that he needed and i was amazing to see how well the 2 overcome everything! Penelope Sky has such a way with her stories you instantly fall in love with them and the storyline. Can’t wait to see what comes next.

Could not put this book down.

I didn't know what to expect, but Penelope Sky kept me on my toes and turning pages. This series was different from the beginning and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. Magnus and Raven were truly meant for each other and the things they have done for each other will keep their bond secure. Don't miss this series. Can't wait to see what happens in the next book.

Yes...great read.

Just when I thought Ms. Sky could not get any better. I love this book but not more than the 1st one, but I do recommend anyone to read this book. The love that Magnus and Ravens have is one of a kind for each other. I can't wait or the next book. This book also allows one to view life as it should and know that everything is not easy. Keep them coming Penelope.

Absolutely loved this story

This book picks up immediately after the previous book. We see Magnus start out as trying to be indifferent towards Raven. That doesn't last long, and soon enough their relationship goes to the next level. Magnus is constantly at war with his brother and the other guards. I would've loved to see their relationship grow after everything was done and said.

Is blood thicker than love!

Ok I wanted to hate Fender so bad after the awful punishment he gave to Magnus. But there's also something about the way he loved his brother. I think he wished he were more like Magnus, and that's where Melanie made her debut! Though the sisters were important in this book, I craved the brothers relationship. As per usual Penelope has done it again.

Good book

While the writing was amazing, I had a hard time connecting with this book. Because the connection was lacking I struggled to finish. This has NEVER happened to me with one of Ms. Sky's books. I'm always hooked and can't put it down. I'm looking forward to the next book. I'm hoping I can find that elusive literary connection with Melanie that I lacked with Raven.

Penelope has done it again!

Another great read from Penelope. This book has been highly anticipated after reading the first book of this series. Magnus quickly became my favorite! My opinion, the first book was better. This one was a little repetitive in certain conversations. I didn’t like how she repeatedly brought up her injury, when she’s supposed to be such a brave woman. Overall great read!

LOVE!!!! Def recommend!!

I absolutely loved this installment of this series. I can't wait for the next one. The characters are fantastic, like none I've ever read before. This whole series is like none I've ever read before and that is so refreshing! I won't give any spoilers but if you're looking for something a bit different with great characters and a great storyline, this book is for you!!

Balanced

This book broke my heart and slowly mended it back there's some reviews stating the ending was a bit too soft and idealistic but they're forgetting there's another book on the way and with this author there is always a twist and with how things unfolded for Magnus the ending of this book was very much needed and appreciated

Ma petite amie...

Wow...I have no words. Truly a tremendous end to this fascinating series. Penelope has a skill of making one fall for the villain in her stories and she did it again with this installment. A MUST READ!! Totally worth the wait. I don’t know if I would have done what Magnus did in the end though! READ TO FIND OUT..

Hard to put down.

Immediately continues from The Chateau and says just as engaging and as exciting until the end. To say that Magnus and Raven have an unconventional love is true but the love they have is undeniable. This series is definitely different which made me not want to put it down. Many twists and turns that were not expected.

Soulful, meaningful

This book begins to bring everything full circle. Is a full length book plus some as it brings the story together and helps set the stage for the other story. The characters are strong and the detail is flawless. Love that a little of her other books are pulled in just a little. Amazing and can’t wait to read book 3!

Another must read!!

Another must read series. There were some parts with the little sister that frustrated to me too no end but I guess for the series to work and to truly understand the big sisters reasons for her actions it must be that way....ican wait to read the final book in the series. Penelope Sky is an awesome story teller.

Love always win

Raven and Mangus story continues and even though Raven still drove me crazy it was a good story. Mangus is love for her and his brother put him at a crossroad I was glad to see them work it out. I had a few questions that I was hoping got answered. Overall this was a good story I hope the brother gets a story.

Great Conclusion!!

Great conclusion for Magnus and Raven. This book had be on edge throughout it. I was constantly waiting for what would happen next. What we do learn in this book is the true level of feeling they have for each other. Also how loyal they are to each other . Great conclusion and now we wait for The Boss!!

Magnus and Raven!

This book is an intense and nail biting read. A lot happens in this book to bring Magnus and Raven's story to an end. I have really enjoyed read this series. I was on the line about it, but I am glad that I read it because it is a great story. Can't wait to read Fender and Malenia's story.

Magnus and Raven

Ms sky you always amaze me with your writing, following book one after she returned and set fire to the camp, the hate he feels towards Raven but still protects her, she also protects him. They went through rough patches. Also the hatred his brother felt towards her. The ending was very nice, enjoyed it very much.Ms sky thank you.

Not your average fairytale love story!! Intoxicating!!!

Absolutely loved this series! Magnus had my heart from the start. This is definitely a must read. The relationship between the main characters is not your average relationship. It's a breath of fresh air in the change up of this story. Highly recommend this book and anything by this author.

Suspense, Drama and Passion

I always love the characters Penelope creates. This series was no different. She added in some twists and turns that kept the story moving quickly and kept me engaged the whole time. While this was a very different type of story line, I enjoyed it just as much and was pleasantly surprised.

WOW 🤩 what a read

Wow what a roller coaster of a ride the story was intense and very hot....So glad that he finally came to his senses when it came to her and that what she did was the right thing even if it hurt him. She proved time and time again that she had his back. Amazing story and a must read..

Love Penelope’s books

We have another winner here guys. Another great series and if you haven’t started this series, it’s a must like every other book Penelope writes she pours her heart and soul in it and you can feel it and see it when you read the books. This book picks right up where the first book left off.

Good but fell a bit short..

I’m a long-time Penelope Sky fan but this book, while a good read, didn’t do it for me. It was a bit slow and a little predictable . It fell short on details regarding Napoleon and how he was able to take over the camp. I thought It needed a bit more substance in the story.

Amazing

What a wonderful love story!! This isn't my usual kind of book but it captured me from the first chapter of the first book. Relationship between the main characters not only holds your interest tears at your heart. I literally could not put this down until I finished it.

Good read

I am glad that fender and his brother gave up the drug world. I couldn't not imagine being taken in a busy city to be treated like a slave or piece of crap to deal with drugs. I am interested to see how book 3 plays out what will their hobbies be will they go back into the drug world

Amazing

This book was fantastic and everything expected from her books. I really enjoyed the characters emotional growth throughout the book but they still had there same principles. It was very enjoyable reading the book completely from Magus prospective and he was far more complex then I thought he would have been from the first book. Even though the book was not from Ravens point of view, she was still the very strong female leading role that you would expect from Penelope. I really enjoyed some of the plot twists as well and some I really didn’t see coming either. This book is definitely worth reading and there is no cliffhanger either.

True love

This book was fantastic. Storyline keeps you on your toes with every turn. Oh such detail that you are with the girls at camp every day. The anticipation of what is going to happen then the turn of events that makes a siblings love what it is. Absolutely 10 stars.

That’s Commitment!

Raven is a force to be reckoned with. She loves hard and fights for what she believes in. Magnus finally finds his happiness, Raven. He and Raven become inseparable and things go downhill while at the camp. Raven fights through her fears and saves Magnus.

Wow!!!

I received an ARC for my honest review. I wasn’t sure how I was going to like this book. Well, I loved it! I did not always like the characters but I grew to understand them and even felt a connection with them. Looking forward to more!!!

Couldn’t put it down

Penelope did it again. This is why I loved reading her books. Magnus and Ravens love story unfolds more in this book. I’m not a big fan of her sister she seems selfish and spoiled. But I loved how it ended. I hope there is another book

AMAZING!!!!

This was the second book in this series. It was so amazing it had ups and downs and raw emtion. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I cant wait for the next book to see the story from Melanie's side. Great job Penelope

Good ending

This book is book 2 that picks up immediately at the end of The Chateau. Magnus and Raven's story continues and the ending is enjoyable, if a bit quick. This is definitely worth the read and I look forward to the next book.

Great read

I loved The Camp and that it was done in Magnus point of view. Raven and Magnus love for one another was great throughout the book although Magnus was cruel in the beginning. I love this series and thanks for another great read Penelope Sky.

On your toes

It was sweet, kind and everything a love should be. Making sacrifices, bettering each other. I loved this love. Raven and Magbus became goals. Loved their story.. hate how they met but love how it ended.

Not for the light hearted.

This series is so different from the usual Penelope Sky. It grabs you in and keeps you from putting it down but definitely isnt for the light hearted. The camp continues from book one and takes you on a wild ride with these two characters. Cannot wait for book 3!!

Good read

Continue to love Penelope’s books. This book was hard to put down. Interesting how relationships develop. Wanted to hate mangus brother. But toward the end we can feel compassion for him. Can’t wait to read the next book!

If anyone wants a definition of trust and loyalty, this is the very definition.

I love this book so much! I can’t wait for “The Boss” book! My most favorite part was when Magnus closed his eyes in front of Napoleon. That’s all I am gonna say. The amount of trust this couple had for each other was beyond!

Awsome book

This book took off from the start it was so good i could not put it down i had to keep reading and wanting to know what was happening next. Its suspenseful and romantic at the same time.

Lots of adventure and love

I really enjoyed this book. I loved their love story. Magnus and raven are a perfect example of devotion. I hope there will be a spin off of Napoleon later. Can’t wait foe the next book

Fantastic book! Its full of action! A must read.

Freaking awesome!! I loved everything about this book!!! I read it in one sitting, I couldn't put it down!! This book is beyond great. I voluntarily reviewed a advanced readers copy.

Awesome story!

I loved the Camp. It picked right up from the Chateau. This book is an emotional roller coaster for sure. But in the end. The women are released and the relationship is stronger than ever.

I excellent read

The ending of this 2 book series turned out so good! I’m wasn’t to sure in the first book if I liked it or not but after reading the second book it turned out good! Excellent read!

Excellent story

I love the story line. Raven and Magnus are an amazing couple. They have gone through alot. I sometimes feel that Raven doesn't understand anyone's feelings but her own. Over all I love thr book and can't wait until the next book.

Magnus and Raven ❤️

Omg this is hands down one of my favorite books. Magnus and Raven are a magnetic force, true raw love. I loved the suspense and thrill of the entire book. Great read!

Once again...outstanding!

This was a great read. If you have not read book one, you have to in order to follow along. I loved the way they loved in this book. You will not be disappointed.

Love Penelope!!

Another great series! Book 2 picks up right after the last one and is told from Magnus POV and the aftermath he deals with from Raven's plan. Magnus and Raven were great characters, but didn't really care for Melanie and Fender that much. Hopefully that changes in book 3 and get more of a character development. I did wished there was more to the ending. I felt like it ended too quickly. However, another great dark romance with no cliffhangers.

Amazing!!

This book was Amazing!!!! I very much enjoyed Raven and Magnum 's story. I was glad it turned out to end in a good way. I felt good when the female prisoners being used and held against their will to put the drugs together got released. Enjoyed this very much!

Edge of my seat the whole time.

Twist and turns you dont expect. I was definitely on the edge of my seat with this book. To have the love and passion these characters have is a dream come true.

Awesome

I love all of Penelope Skys books. This was a little different but was still great. I love how it ends and I cant wait to read the boss in Melanie's story.

Definitely worth the wait

This book was so heartfelt and exciting. Had me at the edge of my seat with tears in my eyes. Raven and Magnus are simply amazing and great characters.

I love this series!

I am loving Raven and Magnus! Their love is so deep and they'd do anything to protect one another. If you love dark romantic storylines, get this series!

Loved it !

Magnus and Raven chemistry is something else. I loved this book as much as the 1st one. I can’t wait for the Boss to come out. What am I gonna read now?
