J. R. Ward
This billionaire’s got it bad, and that’s not good… The first O’Banyon Brothers novel from New York Times bestselling author J.R. Ward writing as Jessica Bird. Originally published in 2007 as The Billionaire Next Door. Take-no-prisoners deal-maker Sean O’Banyon (aka SOB) eats Wall Street financiers for lunch. So why is he losing sleep over a sweet-faced nurse in old jeans and a too-big T-shirt? Maybe it’s those warm green eyes. Or the way she blushes when he gets personal. Maybe it’s the way she challenges everything he’s believed about himself for so long. There’s no denying they have serious chemistry. But sooner or later Lizzie will learn his deep, dark secrets. First, he has trust issues. Second, the whole family thing is not for him. And, last, he doesn’t do relationships—even if there’s something about Lizzie that makes him want everything he can’t have…

Like SOB he was great too me

Need more on the O’Banyon brothers

Good shift

I like the way the story shifted back and forth. The Lizzy character was almost too good to be true, but it's nice in this day and age to read a"feel good" story.

J.R. Ward-Best Author E V E R!

If u like “steamy” scenes you cannot get any better than J.R.Ward!!! I think she is the BEST author out there. I can not say enough about her books. Her Black Dagger Brotherhood series is SOooo good. Every single one of those guys has such great personalities! You feel you KNOW/LOVE each of them personally! I hardly EVER find an area sluggish/boring start to finish she is such a great author. She is my FAVORITE writer to read bar none! I cannot say enough. I have tried so many others, but nobody can beat JRW!!! Never a dull moment! Her characters are SOooo “hot”!!! (Fanning, fanning, phew!) You won’t be sorry trust me!

Wicked Good!

I was so happy that Sean got his own book. I really loved his character from the Moorehouse Legacy books. His story is brilliantly written and is a definite page turner. I love the way the author writes and how entranced you get in the storyline. I read this book in one day because it was that good. I am an avid reader of J.R. Ward and anything she writes is astounding. Although I wasn’t sure what to think when I started this book since it isn’t what I normally read from her I loved it anyway. As with all of her books she catches you with relatable people and storylines. I have read every single book and will continue as long as she writes.

I Need More O’Banyons!

I loved this book and am completely undone by the fact that the other O’Banyon brothers don’t have their own books! I can't get too upset, because I have the BDB series already in my library. Since I couldn’t read more O’Banyons, I did backtrack to find the earlier books that SOB appears in. I wish there were more about his brothers and can only hope that Jessica (J.R.) has a draft copy of each somewhere that just needs to get sent off to the publisher!

Secrets

Sean has trust issues. Started with the abuse from his father followed by an ex-girlfriend that turned out wanted only his money. Lizzie has been living in a duplex that Sean’s father owns. Lizzie saw him as a sweet old man. When he passes she call Sean. When Sean sees Lizzie he wants her but doesn’t trust her. Can they make a relationship work? Will Sean’s past keep them apart?

Need books 2 & 3!!!

Love anything by JR Ward or JB!
