What an amazing heart wrenching story
Clint and Cochise, are guardian angels. The children they saved and took into their homes, made them almost saints, until you find out what they did to the perverted pedophiles. They got their just desserts.
Sweet Cowboy Justice!
What a glorious round up for the gangster families. It was fun getting to see a bit more of Greco and Rodriguez. Although I'm not sure how I feel about Rodriguez' eagerness to follow in Clint's footsteps on the torture side of things. Overall tgis was a very satisfying read. I hope we haven't seen the last of these guys yet. I'd love an update on Cory and Colton and more from John and Donald. Also, what is up with Zoe and her beau? I get the feeling that is not going to end well. Still lots of questions and side stories to be explored, but this book does have a greatly overdue conclusion to one ugly stinky chapter in their lives. I love the transformation in Cochise, but still feel there is a lot more to his background that needs to come out. For instance, his real name! Will we ever learn that? It bugs the me to no end! What name is on his driver's license? Surely Kane knows by now???? Ah the little details that keep me up at night. Ha ha! Thanks for another amazing book!
I just Love this series!
This series is amazing. Although not for the faint of heart, the emotions in this book are typical CJ Bishop. Heart wrenching and real. This book follows "The Innocent" and "Hope" and I highly recommend you read those books first because there is so much going on! Clint, Cochise and the rest of the family.....whew, seems as if there is some anger issues, which is totally understandable - LOL. I wish everyone had a family like this one. One thing I absolutely loved in this addition is that we see more of Santiago's boys. I fell in love with them during "The Cowboy Gangster" series. I sure hope we see all of them again. Another great book by CJ Bishop! I just love everything she has written.
Oops CJ Did It Again
...She played with my heart. She had me on the edge of my seat. CJ Bishops books always keeps me wanting to sit down and read it cover to cover before putting it down. If I can't read it in one sitting, I'm counting the minutes until I can pick it back up. This book has some blood and literal guts spilled. It depicts man on man romance...but GOD....I loved it! If you like m/m romance with just the right amount of angst and a tearful HEA for the good guys, The Reaper is for you, any of the Cowboy Gangster series is for you.
More ...... Want More!!!!!!! Excellently Written.
I have to agree with the others ....... GREAT book!!!! Started reading and could not put the book down. I am so glad I found this author. Accidentally came upon her several years ago and have "grabbed" any of her books that have the Cowboy or the Phoenix boys in them. Now I want to read more books with Flynn. Definitely as mentioned not for the fate of heart ..... they do punish believe in strict punishment for the guilty. Very well written .... if you haven't read any of this series I strongly suggest you start from the beginning. Well worth the time to read.
Unsettling and disappointing
What was this supposed to be - a final chapter in the cleansing of Clint's soul? Was it a final solution to the scourge of child sex trafficking and molestation that the characters encountered throughout the previous books? It's surprising how the author never fails to create new ways to "dispatch" the bad guys. Most of this book seemed to tell the grisly details of each molester's demise. Very little of the story involved the interactions between the established characters of this franchise such as Cochise, Clint and their partners. All we get on that front is a sex scene or two between lovers/partners. This book was a story of retribution and all the grisly and graphic ways to punish despicable human beings, not much else. I was disappointed because I like the characters in this series and look forward to reading of the progression in their lives. But this book was just a reason for Clint and his buddies to go on a murderous rampage. It left me very unsettled.
Always one click
I really stumbled onto this series and instantly fell in love with the story and characters. But I have to say Cowboy and Chocise are by far my most favorite characters. At first you fear for those who encounter these men but as they fall for their men you begin to see the layers of their beings. And you can’t help yourself you just love them. I just hope CJ Bishop has more stories for this large family because I think the children will be a fascinating read.
Great Job again
CJ Bishop is the best m/m writer I have read. She writes stories that are issues happening in the world and makes the Cowboy a hero in those issues. All of her stories have deep meanings and could trigger people with abused pasts. However she is genius writer and I can’t wait for her next book. She is also writing under the name AM Snead and those books are awesome too.
A must read!
CJ bishop out with yet another brilliant written book in the Phoenix series! Clint is out to hunt down the men that tried to get him and his family killed on Christmas Eve, the only thing they know is that there is a bigger picture to the story that will set them all in danger yet again. Love this book! Can't wait to read what happens next!
The innocent
Cowboy and Cochise go after the leaders of the gang that targeted their families. Even going so far as to hold a gun on baby Hope. Their vengeance is terrible to behold.

Another winner!
I dreaded starting this book because I knew it would end. I can never get enough of Clint, Cochise and their families. They're like family to me and I feel lost at the ending. If you haven't read their love story then please start with the Phoenix boys and get pulled into their lives. You'll have one hell of a ride!
Surprised!
Not what I expected. I'm afraid that my excitement for the next book has been quieted. There was more violence than anything else. I'm a bit miffed!
She Did It Again!
This book picks up where book 2 ended! It takes a very good writer to write a book that deals with such a horrific topic to write the book in such a way that you can actually finish the book and be sad that the book has ended! Kudos to You Madam Snead!
It seems like a long wait...
I was so excited to see book three, I've been constantly checking for it. I just wanted to see how the Cowboy resolved the issue, regarding who was behind the attack on his family. This was another great addition to the series, and I guess the wait was worth it.
Awesome Read!
Love the Cowboy and his crew! Can't wait to read more from this author. This a saga that should continue for a long time!!
Loved
This book just like all the other books in this series was amazing. I just can’t get enough of this series and can’t wait for the next book. I will read this author’s books for life
Revenge is sweet!
I could not put this book down. It sucked me in and I was submerged in this world. I kept seeing the percentage read and I hated to get to the 99% mark. I can't wait for more of the Cowboy!
Thank goodness for the cowboy and Egyptian!
This was a hard series to read. Only because of the subject matter but it truly is worth the read if only to make us all aware of the problem of sex trafficking of children. I love the cowboy and Cochise!
Wow
Great book I love our bad boys! CJ Bishop did another great job! Love the Clint and Cochise and the Santiago crew! And happy the Blue Grotto is no more! Can't wait for the next book of the guys!
You do not want to be a bad guy in this author's universe!
Another amazing story in the Phoenix universe! This continues from the last book. Great men doing bad things to rid the world of evil men. Amazing love and compassion. You just want to hug them!
Another great book
This is another fine addition to a great series. I can’t get enough of Clint and the crew. If you like books where the bad guys is the good guy this series is for you.
LOVED!!! ❤️❤️❤️
CJ always writes an amazing, touching story and this was awesome. It was packed with action, steamy scenes, and so much love and cuteness. I can’t wait for the next story.
Great story love
Great story telling true to form for cj bishop love all of cowboy gangster series. 🌟 rating will there be a honeymoon series
Loved this book
I love all of the books you’ve written about the Phoenix club and the cowboy and other characters. I look forward for the next book about them.
Enjoyable read!
I am definitely a CJ Bishop fan. These books take me away and I’ve enjoyed everything one of them. I can’t wait for the next installment!
Gut wrenching
Very captivating story. Well told as always, kept you on the edge of your seat. So glad the good guys finished first, and saved the kids.
Fabulous installment to a wonderful series.
Love this series. Just a great read. Love the world, all the boys (big and small) just gets better and better.
The Title Says it All!! LOVE THIS BOOK!!
Wow!! These Cowboy Gangster books are all so amazing!! This is the finale to The Innocents series which deal with getting justice for innocent kids used and abused by disgusting perverts. That sounds really depressing, but this author can write these books that will melt your heart and make you cry, then you are so happy you cry some more!! You will get all of the feels as Clint and Cochise, along with help from Cruz's gang, try to free the sex slaves held by Earl at the sleazy Blue Grotto club. That place has been mentioned in quite a few of these books and every time I keep hoping it will be burned down. Well, wishes do come true!! The Cowboy and Indian come together to become the Reaper who will save the tortured souls and get vengeance on their tormentors. There is a special place in Hell for those who torture and abuse kids, and Earl and his special customers are about to find out what that's like. Thank God Clint and Cochise have their men and families to come home to. At the end of this nightmare, they finally get to put all the evil behind them and hopefully have peace for a while. At least until the next time a Reaper is needed to hand out justice. I love these characters in the Cowboy Gangster/Phoenix Boys world. This is a must read if you are familiar with the other books in the Cowboy Gangster/Phoenix Boys series. Once again, this author has brought me to tears. Get your tissues and settle in for a book you can't put down.
Wow!!
Clint, Cochise and the boys continue to rescue abused and exploited children. However, their abusers will never escape the wrath of Clint and Cochise and they will pay the price of their sins. Afterwards, Clint and Cochise begin to feel even more heartache and pain of seeing these abuse children and they begin to question if they should even continue. However, with the love and support of their fiance's and families, they are reassured of how much they are needed and loved. I would recommend this book because behind all of the violence and sadness, the love and protectiveness these characters have for each other outshines it all. Warning: some scenes of child abuse as well as the revenge taken against the abusers are graphic and not for the faint-hearted.
To Protect The Innocents Is What I DO
This is the third installment of The Innocent Saga featuring Clint "The Cowboy" and his "family". In this book you will find Clint and Cochise hot on the trail of yet another group of extremely naughty - ok they are just bad- men who not only take advantage of children; but one of them not only lied to Cochise but hurt his son, Tae. Our men are not just out for ordinary payback, but this time... it is payback of EPIC proportions! You will see some familiar faces, see more of the camaraderie between the men and their chosen families, the love and respect they give one another but receive from them. This book will keep you turning the page to see what happens next; have you shouting and cheering; have you crying and yes even have you fanning yourself when the heat gets turned up!!! With this book you have to wonder.... Not what will it take to break a Cowboy, but what will it take to heal one.
C J strikes again! Fantastic read full of angst and creative methods of punishment.
Who doesn't like bad boys that rid the world of really bad men?! This book is the third in a trilogy I recommend reading the first 2, you won't understand unless read in order. This book is so full of angst and love. I at one point experienced ugly, head stopped up, sucking back snot tears, the next minute I was laughing. This book could contain triggers for people. I love these boys, they attack the wicked to protect the innocent. I love the way they evil ways they deal with the garbage of the world such creativity should be rewarded. The Cowboy and Cochise have grown so much as people since they themselves fell in love. We also get to know Emilio much better in this book and realize he and Cruz are always going to be a part of this new family that is developing. Invest the time to get to know all of the Phoenix Boys and The Cowboy gangster family.
Wow
Wow, this book was so much fun to read. Loved seeing The cowboy and Egyptian back in action, doing their thing. And to see other secondary characters as well. I couldn’t put down this book once I started. I get all giddy whenever a new book is released by C.J. Bishop/AM Snead. They are full of drama, action, angst and some very Romantic heartfelt moments. They make you curse, cry, laugh and whoop! And this book was exception. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for this gang. What path they’ll chose. I feel this could be their new job—rescuing kidnapped kids from s£* traffickers. If you’ve read hope, reaper is the continuation of that. I urge readers to read previous books to understand the characters and the plot development. Or it’ll confuse you.
Clint gets revenge.
I just can’t get enough of these books and this one didn’t disappoint. Although it tends towards the violence rather than the heat, it fitted the plot. Clint, Cochise and their friends set out to rescue more kids from the clutches of Earl, owner of the Blue Grotto strip club and to take revenge for the Christmas Eve attack on Clint’s family. Cue more than a few grisly scenes but balanced by the hot scenes on their return home. I read an advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review.
Have tissues ready.
This book and the 2 before it were kind of hard for me to read to be honest. That being said I want to say this book takes all your emotions and runs with them. The Cowboy,Cochise, and the boys don't mess around when it comes to family and who they decide is family. The bad guys don't walk away and the "good guys" save the day even though it doesn't feel like it to them. I have read every book in the cowboy series. Even though I mostly cried through this one it was the best yet.
Reaper: The innocent (part3)
I couldn’t put it down, it kept me on edge during the entire book. It made me cry, just like part 1 and 2. I know there are children out there being abused by sick men and what ever punishment happens to them they deserve. There are some characters who story has not been told yet. The men that are still locked up in prison and the one does not want out until his lover is released because he afraid for his life.
Welcome to Hell !!!!!
Cochise and Clint, now deadly family men, find their holiday ruined by a assassin after Clint. Which one of their many enemies are brave, or stupid enough to try to go toe to toe with these infamous killers!? Besides that threat they are still trying to find and rescue a boy, and others from sex traffickers. This series about dark justice and rescue of the innocent from depraved, evil rapist of kids gives hope for real Reapers of Justice like our heroes!!!
Do no harm lest you wish to reap vengeance upon you
I have read all of the books that include The Cowboy and Cochise. The men's characters have evolved from hitmen to family men whose family is growing. Without giving away the p!ot, as usual the bad guys seriously underestimate these men and their friends ability to love and avenge. I look forward to seeing more of the family aspect of these men's lives now that their family is growing.
5 Avenging Angel 👼👼 stars
Bishop just keeps bring the hits. Clint, Cochise, Cruz and the rest of the guys have finally taken out the trash. I hope the next book or books are of our guys weddings. We need some love going on now. And can we get a couple of books about the Santiago crew. I dying here!!!!
Through the pain, the heavens lighten
Trafficking children is the most heinous of trespasses. The penalty is never severe enough, but the toll it takes on men of stout heart and stern demeanor is great. Even punishing demons and monsters is grueling work. Thankfully, there are angels to soothe and strengthen those tasked with the labors of justice.
Thank God for cowboys!!!
Another great installment in a most amazing saga. The story never gets old or dull and just keeps blossoming. How she keeps coming up with the characters, ideas and details never ceases to amaze. Yet again we are introduced to more intriguing people and are left needing to know more about their stories. Never a disappointment.
Saviors in a horrible world
Once again I could not put it down. The plot lines and action scenes moved quickly. The twist and turns had enough emphasis to get the ball rolling. All the characters and chapters worked together for a great. Read!!
Exceptional
I love these guys! I enjoy a book with vigilante justice but especially when it’s served by The Cowboy and Cochise. This book will rip your heart out and restore some of your faith in humanity.
Cj Bishop does it again
This author brings you along for a hell of a vivid and so.etimes heartbreaki g journey, but three things you can expect from her books: Great Chemistry, Hot Loving, and the good guys win in the end!
You Reap What You Sow
OMG, no one messes with Clint's family and expects to live. When he joins forced with Cochise and Cruz no one will survive. I loved this series. I think the world needs people who can take care of problems.
She does it again!
Another great book for the series by this author! I would recommend this book most definitely. Clint and Cochise are my favorite characters from these books/series and I can’t wait for the next one!
Great story and series must read
Great story and series must read great author worth the read especially the whole series and all of her other books too. Beware very dark stuff.
That the cowboys whole family come out OK.
I love how the Egyptian and the cowboy we growing to become more family oriented. I also love how they do anything to protect people and Earl got what was coming to him!
I love this series ❤️.
I love that the story started up where the last book ended . I love the family side of the cowboy and Cochise making them more human in the gangster world.
Such a good read
This book is amazing. I continue to fall more and more in love with Clint and Axel. I laughed, cried and everything in between. I cannot wait to see what happens next.
Just so good!!!
Everything i expect from this author. I cryed and fell in love with the characters all over again. My heart was moved. Punishments fit the crimes, an very creative.
Earl finally pays his due excellent read
