My heart hurts!
Well, she has done it again. I have no clue where this series is headed next. How are my boys getting out of this? I cried nearly all the way through this book. Every scenario my brain tries to conjure a way out for them leads straight to a dead end. I just hope this isn't the actual end of the trail for my favorite cowboy and Egyptian. Not when they finally committed to true love and family. The next title is not very encouraging. I wait on pins and needles for the next release in 2020. This is a must read for any fans of The Cowboy and Cochise, but I wouldn't blame you for at least waiting for book 2 before starting. This one is short and leaves you hanging with an ache in your gut. There are very few authors who can invest me so deeply in their characters. CJ Bishop is one of my top 2. Still an auto-one-click-buy. Even if you are not an LGBTQ fan, all of the series in this universe are all still worth reading. This book is a solid 4.5 stars for me. In all honesty, I dropped half a star because I still wish she had a better editor. An occasional spelling typo is easy to overlook and forgive, but things like tagging a quote as Axel instead of Angel mid-conversation are just plain annoying and inexcusable for a decent editor to miss. This has happened in multiple books now. Sometimes multiple times in one book. If I did not get so sucked into the stories, I'd probably have given up on the author by now. Just one more testament to how good her books are!
Just can't get enough
CJ Bishop doesn't disappoint in New story of our favorite cowboy Clint and his partner in crime the Egyptian Conchise. If you haven't read this entire series this far, STOP and race to read from the beginning. Clint and Axel's love story is the ultimate love story of all time. Sorry I don't give anything away as far as plot. But I do share my love and enjoyment of these characters. Let's just say this does end in a cliffhanger and boy oh boy do I want the next book in the this series. Just love me some Clint!
Wow!!!!
Unbelievable. Left me with my mouth open. What are you doing CJ Bishop? You can't take our guys away from us. I always need tissues when I read one of her books. This one was no different. Actually I needed more of them. This book rips your heart out. Turns you inside out and leaves you wanting more. I can't believe what is happening with our guys. You want to cry and scream at the same time. I can't wait for the next one. I'm on pins and needles with want. This is a must read. If you follow the cowboy, you HAVE to read this. If you don't, you better get started. This was amazing, amazingly sad.
Next chapter of this must read series!
first of i have no idea how to write this review because this book is so full of spoilers to the series that if i write too much about it i will end up spoiling the plot so i will just say this book is just beautifully written and C.J just did it again she knows how to pull a persons heart out then crush it before she slowly pieces it back together and this book is just like that with a super cliffhanger! I been following this author for many years now and im amazed about how well she manages to write her books and always makes each one just better than the last!
I am freaking out.
Oh, nooo. This can't be happening. I got lured to get this book before I have the whole lot and now what? Putting the cliffhanger out of my mind I will go and read something fluffy till I can get back to Clint and Axel. Hang in there guys, hope is all you have right now.
What’s happening?
Clint and Cochise are ‘arrested’ but things aren’t as they seem. There’s questionable circumstances: no police stations or rights are read, then there’s a phone call that shows that this agent has other motives. Plus there’s the evidence the agents have against them and the test. I love CJ Bishop. The Cowboy Gagster series is my favorite, but are so many questions in this book, even with it being so short. I need to know what’s happening! I can’t wait for the next one!
Heart ripped from my chest!
All the books I have read by CJ have been outstanding! My favorite guy is the Cowboy. Please read this series it will open your eyes to the horror of human trafficking and the tragic victims torture they must endure!
Nooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!
I love these characters so much but I hate cliffhangers!! I just have to wait and hope CJ gives these boys a HEA! Great book and i highly recommend!
Couldn't put the book down!
As you read this book, you feel everything the characters are feeling. I had to have the tissues for this one. CJ Bishop continues to keep the reader wanting more. I enjoy CJ's writing style and the tie ins from the other book series. I am looking forward to the next book!
