Little Critter: Just a Little Love (My First I Can Read)

My son LOVES this sweet, sweet book!

I bought Mercer Mayer Little Critter books for my kids and now I buy them for my Grandkids!

Good price and great books for kids collection.

I can always recommend the illustrations and stories by Mercer Mayer. My granddaughter loves them. This week when she first read this book about a Little Love it helped her when her parents told us about a little fight on the playground. We were able to use the story as a teaching moment about conflict, disappointment and difficulty in life within the range of understanding of a three year old. She understood how much a Little Love could be helpful. It was a precious read for me as much as it was for her.

Any book by Mercer Mayer is good for all ages! My grandchildren love them & adults love the story & illustrations!

Just as described! Fun little books for my kindergartener to read. Probably a bit too many words for an EASY read but with help he was able to read 60% of the book. I think more suited for 1st grade reading.

I have a three year old & bought this for her since she has a new little sister. I promptly added it to her Little Critter collection, as they are some of her favorites. She always seems to be carrying one around. This book is about giving just a little extra love to those who need it & sends a very cute message. I highly recommend it.

I have a 6 year old and 3 year old, we love little critters books. It’s very cool to read them these as I read little critters as a kid.

My son was raised on Mercer Mayer's books. Now that he has children of his own I couldn't wait to buy this new release. The illustrations are as adorable as ever and the message is as human as ever. Love this story especially since I am now a Grandma.

I raised my kids and now Grandkids and family on Mercer Mayer~NO ONE makes emotions and behaviors more acceptable, fun and loveable. Modern more mature Dr. Suess! THANK YOU! Mr. Mayer you are a Mother/Grandmothers delight~I do believe we own every book. . .

I am a big fan of the books by Mercer Mayer. They are simple, but always have a nice message. Most books have a little spider, cricket, and/or mouse to find on each page to make the book even more fun.

My older daughter loved the Little Critter books when she was little. When I saw this I just had to get this for my grandbaby she loves looking at her Aunt's books so now she will have one of her own.

All the Little Critters are sweet and come with a good message. The 'I Can Read' books I give to my granddaughter as she is amassing her own collection now. They are among her favorites:)

Great book for early readers!

My grandson is 7 and this is an easy book for him to read. The pictures are cute and the story is touching. Good thoughts for kids on Love.

Sent this to my grandchildren and heard they love it!

This is an awesome little book for young children. Not only easy for young readers but it teaches them a valuable lesson about being compassionate.

Already have a few of these Little Critters book but kids have read them all. My son loves them for his school A/R tests.....great starter books!

Being a grandma myself, I loved this book! I know my grandchildren will too! Very sweet and will make a good gift.

My son loves Little Critter books!

It is not often that the preface of a children's book will make me tear up. The preface to this book did, and, as wonderful as the text was in the story that followed, the best part of this book is the preface. The story is simple: Even when people love each other, things can go wrong. And when things go wrong, people need just a little love (more). The text, of course, is adorable and sweet and easy for a child to understand. And the illustrations are all of that, and more.
