I Love You, Little Pookie

I have bought 19 of them so far, some for gifts but most for for my little grandson. I will keep buying until I have them all - they are all delightful!

Very meaningful book for your little one!

One of my favorite books to read to my daughter.

Up until about 6 months ago our three year old expressed little to no interest in books at all. The first book that captivated him was a book about rockets and since then it's pretty much been multiple books about rockets and trains with just a few others thrown in here and there. Then we found the Pookie books. We first got the Goodnight Pookie book and my son loves it so much that he wants us to read it to him many, many times at bedtime - something he didn't even request with his favorite rocket books! We bought him this one along with several other Boynton books and they are all hits! I'm so glad to see him get into a book that isn't focused on a vehicle or superhero. The books are also so cute! They rhyme and are the perfect length for bedtime.

My toddler loves this book to the point where I either have to hide it after 1 read, or read it 17 more times before he finally gets distracted by something else.

My 2 year old loves Sandra Boyntons books - and especially the Pookie books. This will make a nice addition to her little library, and an adorable Valentines Day present. As with all of the authors board books, these are nice & sturdy with vibrant colors and cute, short stories that definitely capture my 2 year olds attention.

My kids (5, 2, and 1) are obsessed with this book especially my 2 year old. I bought it for Valentine's day but it's good for any time of the year. All about a mothers love for her kid. I get asked to read it multiple times a day. The pictures are fun and attention grabbing. The story is sweet and funny. It's also a nice quick read. Loved it for so much I bought it for my nieces and nephew. (3, 1, and 1) They loved it too!

We love this book! And plan to purchase all in the series. My 1 year old wants us to read this book on repeat! I highly recommend.

Good book. Super adorable. But it came with water damage/pages bent out of shape for some reason. I wanted nice and new in order to be able to pass it along easily when we were done with it, but I probably can’t now. Super bummed. Not sure if it happened in the mailing process or they sent out a bad book, but yeah. 🥺

The cutest and sweetest book about the love a mother has for her child. I read it to my toddler almost everyday.

As all Sandra Boynton books are fun to read, this one is no exception. If you want your child to say "I love you" - this book will definitely get them to say it!

We love Little Pookie!

This is a fun book expressing a mother's love for her child. My one-year-old loves these books. They have engaging pictures, nice rhythm and rhyme, and it is a great length for very young children. We are enjoying it!

We call our youngest 'pookie' so these intrigued me. Turns out they are the perfect, short, snuggle time story, so endearing and sweet.

My three children are HUGE fans of the "Pookie" books! The first book they read was the Halloween book (a present from their great-grandmother). Since then, we've been on a mission to buy and read as many books as we can. I actually "pre-ordered" This book in particular for my middle child, right around her birthday. When the book finally came, it brought tears to my eyes. It's a great gift for a parent of babies or even kiddos that are just starting to read!

Perfect for any day, but gave it as a Valentine. We love Little Pookie and this completed our collection. Little Pookie is a cute little pig whose mama really adores. Looking forward to future books. They are just long enough for those pre nap and bedtime snuggles. My 3 yr old would rather pick 3 or 4 books than one longer story. These are perfect.

I liked that it came when it said it would. I also liked that the driver was wearing a mask.

Such an adorable book

I just love any Little Pookie book. Pictures are simple but colorful or perfectly suited for it's portion of the story. The books have a beginning, middle and end. Unlike some I've purchased this year that make you feel like a page or two must be missing. I get these for my almost 4 yr old granddaughter and she loves them and ask to have them read to her often.

I could rave about Pookie for days! This little pig has stolen the heart of my daughter, with the pages receiving more and more love as the days go on. We read this one every few days, but the whole Pookie collection is a staple in this house. This particular book is so very sweet and provides plebty of opportunity for my little one to point out hearts! Highly recommended for the youngin's 1+!

Cute book!

My son has loved Sandra Boynton since the beginning but just began our collection of Little Pookie books & this is by far our favorite! The story is so so sweet that I found myself getting a little emotional (& my husband looking at me like I was crazy when he came into the room)! I don't mind reading this one nightly & neither does my little guy who brings it to me to read to him constantly!

My baby loves Sandra Boynton books (we have copious amounts of them) and so purchasing this was an obvious choice. My child is just under a year old and these books are the perfect length for babies with short attention spans. The price point is great for an everyday kind of surprise in the mail too. The Little Pookie series is precious and this new story is adorable and heart felt. Highly recommend!

Lovely book

My 15 month old adores all of the Little Pookie books, and this one is no exception. I think he will appreciate it even more when he's a bit older and can really understand the meaning of the text. Beware: it's a bit of a tear jerker! ;-)

This is one of my favorite books to read to my grandson. I hope my great-niece enjoys it as much as my grandson did when he was small.

I Love You, Little Pookie by Sandra Boynton is a fun, little book! We’re new to her and her Pookie series and are not disappointed. Will definitely be purchasing more of these- hoping to find one that is more blended family/grandma or grandpa focused (this one is for “mom” and “pookie”). Price is perfect. Would recommend.

Not that interesting or funny. Feels like something author wrote for their own kid.

Sandra Boynton's books have impeccable rhyme and rhythm, and her Little Pookie books are just the right length for the littlest bookworms. There's a little bit of silly, a little bit of sentimental. This is currently still one of my 3yo's favorite books, and she's loved them since she was 6 months old. I think this whole series makes for a great gift for a baby or young toddler.

The book fell apart when I opened it. I will have to glue it back together.

Feel like this book was literally given to us by angels. Our pediatrician gives us books at every visit and last visit this book just magically appeared on the counter before we left our room. It must’ve brought in by one of the nurses. I took it home and started flipping through the pages. Boy... I started to tear up because I felt like I was speaking to my own child. His nickname is actually Little Piggy so everything piglet relates to him. I fell in love with this book right away and I read to my child as a way to tell him every night how much I love him and to remind myself how precious he is especially after a rough day. I absolutely love this book and plan to get the box set!

Sandra Boynton has done it again. She's created an adorable book that shines a light on the sweet relationship between a mother and child. The illustrations highlight the joys the mother and child share and emphasize the activities and time they share together. This is a book that is bound to bring a smile to the faces of both young and old, especially as it is shared together. A wonderful gift for a mother and child.
