Garfield Fat Cat 3-Pack #4

I basically give all these Garfield 3-packs the same rating-- First, it's a really good deal to buy the books this way price-wise. Second, Garfield really inspired my 8 year old son to learn to read a few years ago, and he reads and re-reads these books over and over. Unlike some comic books or made-for-kids books (I'm thinking of things like the comic sections of Captain Underpants), there are no spelling errors or weird slang he won't understand-- Nothing too violent or off-color-- Just Garfield. I can let him read it without worrying about it, and Garfield has become an old friend.

I purchased this book for my daughter. I'm so happy she loves Garfield as much as I did (still do) when I was a child. The price is right, and I'm happy to have her reading. 5 stars, I recommend it. I wish I still had my rectangle books that I had when I was a young one, as I have no idea where those went. If you like Garfield, you'll enjoy this!

Great read for kids. While school is out, this Garfield Comic Book has three books in one and our 11 year old is enjoying it. The pages are thin but vibrant in colors. But still a great Comic book addition.

Loved Garfield since I was like 7 - the legend! & this is the most price-efficient way to buy it for all you fellow thrifters out there - love some oldies Garf in full color, looks great, well-made & crafted book, Garfield is one of the funniest comics

Garfield has been at his best for nearly thirty years, and no matter what shennanagans he gets into, he always has something to say for every occasion! This book contains comics from 1983 to 1985. Each and every comic is full of big, fat, hairy deals! Though the cover says it covers his 37th to his 39th book, this is misleading; it actually covers the daily comic strips from 1983 to 1985 and are all in order. Specifically it actually covers books 10 through 12. (This update was made after several comments claiming I reviewed the wrong book. Forgive me for not being specific. Hopefully this will clear up the confusion.) J. Delzer is the author of The Buccaneer of Nemaris.

My Grandson just loved this book. Since it is 3 in 1 he thought it was very special.

TThe books are also fun for the grandparents.

My seven year-old son is enamored with comics and particularly likes Garfield. Since this comes as three books in one, it fits on our shelves easier and makes less of a mess in his room than three books would.

Purchased for my 10 year old. I love to hear him belly laugh as he reads to himself before bed each night when Garfield is in his hands.

I would totally recommend this Garfield Series. I love the sarcasm of this selfish cat. I am 22 years old and I still find my self giggling at some of this comic strips! Get it!

My grandson immediately started reading it and didn't want to put it down. He packed all his books I got in his suitcase for his vacation.

Book came dirty as if used. Wasn't super bad but I was under the impression I was buying a new cooy.

Nice book. My son enjoyed the content and was giggling all the time when he was reading it. However, the pages start falling out.

My son loves it - he’s 9. However, the binding is poor, and the first 10 pages have fallen out after only reading through it once! Disappointing.

Bought this for my 6 year old and she loves it. It's funny to read and she is interested. It's fun to read together and laugh about it.

I've always loved Garfield!

we have many volumes, but for some reason volume 4 falls apart. Tried two books and both had to be tossed.

Purchased for my 8 yo grandson pages 243-280 came apart off the seam. His birthday and Chistmas same day. He Loves these books. Read volume 2 over and over. I need to replace before then , I do not wish to pay s&h fees.

The content is great but while reading the book for the first time the book literally started falling apart. It was bound improperly so pages are falling out constantly. The quality is awful, very disappointing.

Seven year old loves these books! They print quality is excellent and color pages keep it interesting. Classic Garfield-son loves the humor (not sure he always gets it) but enjoys reading it. For me, some of the jokes aren’t that funny and not always that nice, however he seems to be able to separate the fact that it’s a comic and not real life. If you are a Garfield fan-great books and to have three volumes in one book is nice.

These are not new books, these are reprints of some of the older Garfield books. I missed these first time round, so finding them as a three-in-one was a nice surprise, much cheaper than buying the individual books. Garfield at his best, eating lasagna, kicking Odie, and making Jim's life that bit more "interesting". A book for new Garfield fans, and older Garfield fans who missed these first time round.
