This is such a wonderful devotional to have by Dr. Charles Stanley who is a Teachers Teacher. And he is practical & straight out of the word of God. I bought it for me & six others. I will continue sharing. The price is great & it’s beautiful leather hardbacks.

I have bought many over the years and bought this one via Amazon for a gift and I am very pleased with Amazon's quick delivery and the devotional was pristine. I love Reading Charles Stanley! The book is on the smaller side and the print is small.

My husband has recently gone through a very severe life changing time. He was diagnosed with anxiety and depression. A friend read him one of the daily devotions from this book that spoke volumes. My husband was saved a while back but was not a church goer. We got this book and it has continued to speak into my husband’s life. Sometimes, we have to reach bottom before we allow God into our lives. Unfortunately, that was the course for my husband. Thank you, Charles Stanley for your obedience to God.

I read these every day, have been fit over 5 years now, always insightful, inspiring, encouraging, and just a blessing to the day.

I have been enjoying this nourishment for my spirit beginning anew each year. I prefer to read the daily message just before bedtime, enabling me to fall asleep with the Word on my mind. Charles Stanley also has a great app download (In Touch) with daily TV and radio messages that are always encouraging and teach the truth in a way that is easy to understand.

I found Boyd Bailey via Twitter several years ago and have been thrilled and inspired by his wonderful writing and teaching. I have almost all of his books and recently ordered his newest, due out Labor Day weekend 2013 specifically about work and Business. Thank you Boyd for your devotion to The Lord and for blessing me and my family with your writing and ability to encourage us in the Lord!

This book is not a testimonial of God working in another Christian’s life. Dr. Stanley relates uplifting, instructional reminders to Bible verses and give a prayer example. The devotionals are short and can be read in about 5 minutes. They give me something to consider throughout the day.

I grew up on Charles Stanley and so it is only natural for me to purchase his books. He's a comforting, familiar part of home for me. I have a few devotionals, my favorite probably being Streams in the Desert by L B Cowman. With that being said, I love this devotional. I actually bought it at Barnes and Noble for myself and decided to purchase my 21 year old sister the same one. The daily devotionals are short and always end with a one sentence prayer. I love reading my Streams in the Desert but it can be difficult to get through with the demands of family life. So when I'm about to fall over from fatigue but still need my fill of the Lord's word are just some encouragement I can open this little book. The cover is very nice and the size easily fits in my medium sized purse or backpack.

Years of serving the Lord has been put into this book and it shows!

Everyone can use a few positive words to help them through life by putting things in perspective. These messages don't have all the 'answers' - just some thoughts to perhaps give a different perspective on our daily situations & how we might pass our stress on to a higher power... I bought several copies to pass along to friends & a relative who were dealing with stressful issues and each has given me a very sincere "thank you"...

All of the Charles Stanley devotionals are amazing. The depth, biblical nature and simplicity opens the door for your own personal quiet time with the Lord.

I love Dr. Stanley's writing. It is always based on scripture and always, always with an application for our daily walk with Christ. This particular devotional is shorter than most, but leaves you with a specific verse from scripture with the goal that we live everyday in His presence by the power of the Holy Spirit. During the day, especially when we are busy and re-direct our thoughts back to the Lord, that verse will come back into your mind as well. Nothing takes the place of reading the scriptures each morning, but I will usually finish by asking the Lord to show me what I need to learn for that day and He will use Every Day in His Presence to direct me more often than not. I would highly recommend this devotional to anyone who is serious about growing in their Christian lives!

This daily devotional book is phenomenal! It truly is a magnificent book in your daily learning, and spiritual growth in the Lord! And I have never been more closer in the Lord, then this very moment! If you are craving for Gods guidance, and deeply wanting to know about God then this is a great way, to start! I would in a heart beat make another purchase of it, if something would ever happen to mine! It truly blesses my heart. You would be incredibly disappointed, if you don't get this book. I received this as a get well gift and loved it so much I bought one to give as a gift. I like the topics given in this devotional. They are challenging and thought provoking. They certainly challenge me to grow in my relationship with God. The book itself is beautiful and the it has a somewhat "padded" cover. The only thing missing for me personally is I would have like to have seen a table of content by topic. Otherwise a great book and gift.

This devotional spoke straight to my heart during the worst time of my life-the death of my 19 year old son. I know God led me straight to this book it brought me such peace.

There were many days that these devotionals spoke directly to my heart and gave me the comfort and direction I needed for that moment. The absolute BEST!!!! It seems like each day was God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit speaking volumes to me. WOW! HIGHLY recommended if you are wanting to grow spiritually and to handle some of Life's most difficult & challenging events in a Christian manner, this is a must. It is daily but gives an index of topics for example, Forgiveness and gives you the date(s). Super terrific cannot say enough good things about the goodness in Dr. Stanley's works.

In my selection of a personal devotional, I was looking for something that spoke to my heart as a Christian. I found the quality workmanship in this book as impressive as the presentation of the print. It feels like a much more expensive book. I loved the user-friendly layout. Of course, Charles Stanley is very articulate in his Christian leadership, Gospel-based explanations and spiritual challenges represented here. Not just another devotional. I liked it so much I bought another for a family member.

I deeply enjoy this book by Rev. Stanley. It is written so I can use it year after year as a part of my private devotions. One day I read the passage for that day, and it was a confirmation of what I had been praying about prior to me reading it. I know that was God and it is inspired by God. Dr Stanley’s writing is just like his sermons; pleasant to read and full of biblical truth. In the case of the devotional the truth comes in bite-sized acorns.

Dr Stanley is down to earth and purely Biblical. Real Bible teaching all the way. Not ' a motivor' but real preaching with in itself is motivating for your walk with Jesus Christ.

I like the way this book is organized. It gives you a scripture and a topic to meditate on for the day. I looked forward to reading the message for the day and discovering how it would be relevant to what's happening in my life.

This devotional is awesome. The fact that it’s written by Charles Stanley is what initially got my attention; but it’s even better and more thought-provoking than I thought it would be. I definitely recommend it.

This is something that I would definitely recommend it's a very informative book although it is mostly devotionals but they help you learn something to be able to pass that knowledge would be the best gift that I could give to someone this year and I would love to do that someday soon.

This devotional is somewhat similar to the on by Dr. Graham. It addresses various aspects of the Christian life and reveals that life on earth is not perfect, but we all have the wonderful glory of knowing GOD will always be with us.

This book of devotions is one of several that I have but without a doubt my favorite. Dr. Stanley's wisdom and spiritual guidance relative to specific scriptures are uplifting and a great way to begin my day.

I enjoy how Dr. Stanley writes. It's as if you're sitting across a table from a good friend drinking a cup of tea (I hate coffee). He imparts much wisdom and advice in this book. It's easy to read and only take a few minutes a day.

Such an awesome cover & color- and well made binding. I love Dr Stanley anyway, but this devotional is really helping me on a daily basis to remain in today and to trust God, TODAY. This book is so well written and so appropriate for anyone who needs daily reminders of God's truth. I have several devotionals that I read, and this one is my favorite. Dr. Stanley has a way of bringing Biblical principles to us in way that are clear without being condescending.

Dr. Stanley is one of the few legitimate and credible leaders still remaining in the Christian community. He communicates the Gospel in a clear and concise manner. No underlying message about "send me the money and you will be blessed theology." He is a humble and effective servant of God.

this is a wonderful daily devotional . The devotionals are short but very thought provoking. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful book

Dr. Stanley's insight is brilliant.I can tell that he has a very close relationship with The Lord. He knows Who He (Jesus) is and Dr. Stanley is a great help to whomever is blessed enough to read his book. He gives us a lot to meditate on and to help examine our walks.

I read Every Day in His Presence every morning as part of my bible study time. I find it makes me think more about how God calls me to live and There are some encouraging words.I think this book has elp me build my faith

This is an excellent book of short daily devotions. Each one gives information on an element of Christian living. I like to read one each day as a part of my daily devotional. I have found them to be inspirational and informative.
