The Reason for my Hope is a brilliant book by an amazing ambassador for Christ. For seventy years Billy Graham has preached this message of hope and compassion – the message of the truth of Jesus Christ as the only way to God and the only way to escape our own sin and the sin of our culture and our world. Graham beautifully and humbly explains that the reason for our hope is salvation. The book is well written in simple yet profound words. Graham carefully explains why we need to be rescued, what redemption is about, our problem with sin, and more. He gives evidence and examples and gently leads the reader through each step. Here are a few quotes: •“When we are rescued from something we are also saved for something. It is almost impossible to find the listing for the regular old CD Audiobook, but I once found it, ordered it, and saved the link, this is it below. In case you don't know, the MP3 format is condensed data, so they can put more data on fewer CDs (the MP3-CD looks exactly the same as a CD). So the MP3 audiobook would have fewer CDs, but will only play on a CD-Player capable of playing MP3. To this day he's still an inspiring teacher. From watching his broadcasts on youtube or reading articles he's written, he has touch my soul with his words and the words of God. I know there will be some who will rush in and provide poor comments, those are the ones he has spoken of that need our prayers. Those who wish condemn or be harshly judgmental of a man who has tried his best ability to provide others with the word of God so they too may prepare themselves for the hereafter not only need take another look in the mirror, but search their own hearts for the goodness he speak of. We have all made mistakes in life, we are men & the children of God. This is a great and clear presentation of the Christian Gospel including the requirements of Salvation. This treatise of Salvation is written where anyone who can read can understand it. As you read this book it will remind you of the "good ole' days" when people respected God's Word, people were concerned about their afterlife and church attendance was anticipated every Sunday morning. Have you ever wondered why God has blessed Billy Graham? Read the book and you will find out. He is just as true to God's word today as he was 60 years ago. GOD BLESS BILLY GRAHAM. Have always enjoyed Billy Graham's books, but this one seems to 'hit the nail on the head of our current days' here on Earth. Mr. Graham has 70 years of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ all over the world. In this book, he describes the great love God has for His people and the salvation and eternal life that is available to anyone who accepts Jesus' death and resurrection in their hearts. So easy to do, yet many chose not to do so; HOPE is a fleeting ideal in our world without Him in our lives. All one has to do is ask Him to enter out lives. Great insight in this work to explain the last chapter of the Bible - Revelations.

This book caused me to think about my faith and where my faith is lacking. It also talked about how we need to humble ourselves before God in all aspects of our lives.

In today's world where everywhere we turn there seems to be a spirit of negativity looming over everyone one us this book is like walking in the desert w Moses and God brings water out of the rock for his thirsty people. I have tried to read everything written by Mr. Graham. I love how much truth he tells about the Bible. This book is written to reach lost people and explain to them how very much they need Christ. Billy Graham leaves no doubt how rich our lives are when we live our lives for Him. This book is all I am giving my family for Christmas, for I believe it so richly points out the true hope that salvation in Christ brings. Our world is facing so many evil paths our children can take. It is wonderful that Mr. Graham has taken this task to heart at this time in history to direct mankind to the only hope we really have-God.

Everyone should give this book an excellent rating because it shares the many blessings that Billy Graham bestowed to us . His example of telling the world about salvation has always inspired me and others.

Bought the large print for my grandma who is having eye troubles.

My 80+ Mom Is a spiritual and intelligent woman who is now facing those questions of mortality that come with advancing age. Though she is Catholic and Rev. Graham is not, she found this book to be tremendously comforting and inspiring as she considers "what comes next". I would recommend this book as a comfort for any Christian person who is elderly and/or struggling with - or just wondering about - the "hereafter".

Another great book by Billy Graham. As I read it, I can literally hear him speaking the words. What a Godly, sincere, and humble servant of God. What a blessing to be able to read his books. He was a gift from God for our generation.

An awesome book that speaks to anyone who reads it in a clear and simple way. He gives many examples of life situations as you read that make it easy to relate to the message. Even if you already know the reason for your own hope, it is still a great book to read. You are given insight into his own personal experiences that leaves you with a strong desire to examine and share your own reason for hope.

I am not sure what I was expecting from this book, but what I found was a much better understanding of why God sacrificed his only Son. it is impossible for us mortals to have such love until we come to know our Lord and Jesus. I know that for us to be written in the "Book of Life", we must accept Jesus and strive to live up to God's sacrifice. The "cost" of that effort will no doubt be high, but there can be no greater investment. I pray every day that I will come to know Jesus and. listen for what He He is trying to teach me. I also give thanks every day for the people He has put in my path including people like Billy Graham.

This is more of a novel of why Billy Graham believes the way he does. There are scriptures to base it on what he believes. I haven't read the whole book though I only read 1/2 because I believe in Jesus is God too and it was kind of stuff I already knew.

What a brilliant man of God! I love this book and I am trying to read it slowly so I can digest every word knowing that his words are founded on God's word. He is truly an awesome example of a Christ follower for generations before us, the current generations and future one's. Thank you Mr. Graham!

Have not finished the book but I gave it 5 stars anyway. This is a Billiy Graham book what else can I say. The reason I bought it as without HOPE we have nothing.

The book arrived quick & is in good condition. It was also priced low & was a bargain in my opinion.

The Psalmist prayed, "Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come." The gospel, according to the Apostle Paul, is the power of God. Brother Billy is still kicking it old school, declaring the real gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that powerful gospel that rescues us out of the kingdom of darkness and brings us into the kingdom of our loving father. Read this book and immunize yourself from the plague of easy-believism.

The Reason for My Hope: Salvation is another masterful work by Dr. Graham. There is so much to chew-on and ponder in these pages of his latest work. You can't not think there is Hope for all of us, our Nation and the whole World if we would just recognize our shortcomings (sin) and swallow our pride and ask for forgiveness and change our ways. You will see in these pages outline by Dr. Graham, time is running out for all of us. The signs are being seen in the culture, the sky, the wind and can be felt in our hearts if would only slow down and look and listen.

The book came through all well. An extraordinary life this man lived!

As with all his sermons Dr. Graham lays out the truth of God's Word. "I AM the truth, the way, and the life" is the declaration of Jesus Christ. Without Jesus Christ one has no hope.

This is a book about the life of a great man who let the will of God be his way of life. Whoever reads it will learn what God can do for one who serves Him and wants His way in their lives. The stories are so real as they relate to the people who was in his life and how God kept them. A great book.

Just as I expected, Dr Graham delivered an inspiring and very timely message. I highly recommend this book to everyone, especially those who are groping for answers for the ways to improve their life. Dr Graham spells out in detail the steps to a peaceful and happy life. A MUST READ!

Good book but lost my interest

Love your books mr.graham your words really make it easy to understand .

My favorite chapters were "No Happy Hour of Happy Hour" , "Defining Christianity in a Designer World"' and of course the last chapter, "He is Coming Back". His insights are so revelant. Love the personal stories and of course the Scriptures!

We loved reading this book together. It was an encouraging word from one of God's greatest preachers.

Billy Graham shows us that this world is not a great place and that God can save us if we surrender ourselves to Him. I highly recommend this book for those seeking God and people who are already Christians who need to recharge their batteries.

greatest preacher EVER

Mr. Billy Graham tells God's Word in an interesting and informed way that makes salvation clear and understandable even for lay people. My wife and I have been reading the book every day a few pages at a time and we have learned so much.

Love Billy Graham, anything he does seems to be God driven and full of good advice and perspectives. Hope this movement is very successful and does a lot of good in the world.

Dr. Billy Graham's message has been clear and straight-forward for over 70 years. Dr. Graham is calling for another spiritual revival that is sorely needed in this fractured nation of ours.

Dr. Graham expresses in sincere, simple words our need for a change in our attitudes toward living and our need for faith through Jesus Christ. Reverend Graham is an inspiration to those that take him seriously. I'm one of them. Read the book... you have nothing to lose and a lot to gain.

Billy always is succinct and direct in his writing and this is no exception. I totally agree that we are in the "latter days" of scriptural forecasting. The "signs" are all pointing in that direction as we get closer.

A true account of the simple, basic and amazing life of the Christian experience as told by a simple, basic, amazing, though much maligned and misunderstood, man. I admit to ignoring him for years because he seemed to be "just not my style". How stupid of me. I see Mr. Graham now as a gentle, wise person who has impacted the world and the Kingdom of Heaven in ways we can't calculate. Let God do that. This is a valuable book.

I am at a loss to explain the depth of my sorrow to be finished with this book. The strength I gained as I read each word and the joy each page brought into my heart was a blessing God surely intended just for me. Mr Graham has been sent by God without question, and I am a better Christian after reading "The Reason for my Hope". There were strong words but the guidelines had already been laid down for Christ's followers. It's time to buckle down and make the necessary changes in our lives to assure our salvation. Be encouraged and know you're loved. Now I need to read it again in case I missed something the first time.

Bible based, and easy to understand from a man who has lived a long God loving life! This book should be read daily as a reminder and inspiration of what life is about here and in the next life.

This book is so powerful, I had to read it three times. I read it too fast the first time, it had me from the first chapter. Then I went back for a second read, this time slowly. This book really brings to life the reason Billy Graham has had such an influence in our world with out a sermon.

This book is right on the mark! It has given me energy and more drive to set my life and work,body, mind, heart and spirit to commit completely to Jesus Christ. Looking ahead to the future, and not looking back.

Billy Graham's message remains consistent in his interpretation of Biblical scriptures; however he does not get into some of the more recent social movements and how Christians might deal with them i.e. treatment of LGBT's.

He is a man of great faith. He has lived lived it and experienced Gods hand in his life. This is evident in his writting. If you are searching for Christ and maybe have not read the bible then read this book as it will point you in the right direction.It's been quite refreshing to read and makes me hope that I may attain such faith as his. It is a book I know I will often make reference to.

This is a very readable book with a very important message. Billy graham has lost none of his skills in communication over many years. I thoroughly recommend it.

Billy Graham is a timeless messenger of God and the message of Hope and Salvation is clear and relevant through the ages. I was blessed and moved again by his words and the Holy Spirit!! God bless the 'champion' of Gods love.

Not quite through the book yet, Reading it a bit at a time and as with everything that I have read that was written by Billy Graham it makes scripture very real and very relativint in my life.

The book is heart warming, encouraging and inspiring. All these things and more make up the author who has been inspiring people throughout the ages.

Salvation is like foolishness to the natural man. Dr. Graham clearly proclaims the Gospel so that even a child can understand it. His sincerity and concern for the souls of others is obvious. There is no doubt that he believes what he preaches. This is an excellent guide for all Christians to remind us that we serve a great and awesome God who gave His all for us.

I love reading his books and hearing him preach,he hits right on and makes you hear his words from God.

Dr. Graham expresses his love of Christ clearly, simply, and powerfully. Written from the perspective of a tireless worker for the Lord, with over seventies of experience, he ties together the essential stuff of being a Christian. This book is a treat to read, and challenges one to examine their own faith.

I never watched a Billy Graham crusade or read one of your books. Although by the grace of God I was previously saved, I just recently enjoyed one of your crusades and read one of your books (this book). In both instances I learned a great deal. Praise God for the man He has made you.

Another good book by Billy Graham. I think it's a part II of his earlier book "Nearing home". If you haven't read that one, you should it first and then read this one.

If you are not a follower this would make a great choice for you to read because pretty much sticks to the basics of Christianity. If you are already a follower it is good reinforcement of your beliefs. I highly recommend it.

The Rev. Graham has stayed consistent with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His desire to see every person saved by the grace of Jesus Christ shines through in this book. A great book to give to a non believer.

Billy is a precious servant of Jesus Christ.His book is a testament of his love for our Lord & Saviour. I'm sure Billy will hear from Jesus on his arrival in heaven "Well done, good and faithful servant"

Wonderful book written with great inspiration. It gives the hope we all need in this fallen world. I have always respected Mr Graham as a Godly man speaking directly as the Bible states and truly saving souls. I was pleased that it was delivered quickly and in perfect condition. Price was very good as well.

Got this book for my parents who are the same age as Rev. Graham. They had already read, Just As I Am by him, so I knew they would like this book as well. Inspirational as always and I hope to read it myself when they have finished.

Billy Graham reaches everyone's heart where others fall short. His writing is down to earth and easy to process. Love this book and find I am re-reading my favorite parts over and over. Truly inspiring.

The one thing that has always been consistent with Mr. Graham is is simple message of Christ's love for us. No church agendas, no amount of pennants can be said, No just the simple truth. Jesus Christ died for you and me and if you except Him in your life, you will be saved and set free. I bought three copies of this book, as I knew it would be well received by those I wanted to give them to. Billy Graham is trusted as knowing Jesus and God's Word and writes in a way that those with little knowledge can understand God's deep love for them and how to achieve salvation through Jesus Christ. Dr. Graham has brought to all of us a subject everyone tries to avoid. But we all age and meet problems we never dreamed of. Preparing people to deal with real life is a blessing to all.

Over many years I have followed Billy Graham's ministry. This was by far the best book and strongest storyline he has used. I think it will do a lot of good for people wanting to renew their faith or for those who might not ever have believed In God.
