A very interesting and very full story.

Amazing continue of the story. Hopefully at the end of the book things are going back to normal. I highly recommend this book. I think that is the best story between the first 3 books in the series and the most deeper among the three first books. I think that I will continue series at the future.

Couldn't put it down.

Love these books. They are an easy read and hard to put down once I have started to read. Yes, there are ghosts, but nothing scary.

Well done!

I'm not usually the type to nitpick as to whether the author follows exact police procedures. So that stuff is beyond me since I'm not a cop or a lawyer. My medical background is a bit more robust, but I am willing to overlook a lot and suspend disbelief. As long as everything seems reasonable enough, I'm good. Which is why I read cozy mysteries and not hardcore realistic crime stories. I know this story is going to have a lot of people shaking their heads over legal and medical quibbles, but in terms of suspense and drama and human interaction, I felt this story was compelling and well done. I love Danielle. She is just a bit nicer than I am, but I like how she stands up to Joe. Be warned, Joe is so kickable in this story. I know he has to be annoying because the story couldn't progress if he weren't the way he is. I just can't help but want to give him a good kick for how unreasonable he acts toward Dani. I think his awful partner influences him to see the worst in everything she says and does. I'm astonished at how a relatively minor character ends up stealing his way into Dani's life near the end of everything. I hope he can be of help going forward, since Joe's idea of help is anything but helpful. Dani needs all the friends she can, get because she's racking up some over the top adversaries as this series progresses. I like that Dani continues to get out and try to make friends and a life for herself instead of turning inward and becoming obsessed with Walt. Walt manages to do the same. You can see Walt and Dani have chemistry, but it's nice that the writer doesn't cook it up too fast. In fact, fans might be a little disappointed in that as far as Dani is concerned, Walt really is not much more than a surveillance system with an artificial intelligence interface in this story. Really, there's more fulfilling banter with my Amazon Alexa AI assistant than Dani has with Walt. They're together a lot, it's just that they have their hands too full to interact meaningfully through most of the story. Walt is present and does have much to do, just not with Dani.

Same song and dance, different ghosts.

Another book, another Ghost, more jewelry stolen. I am beginning to fear this is going to be a normal recurring theme with these books. They aren't bad, they hold my attention, but all three books feel really similar. There's also a pretty big plot hole that's been in the books since the first one. Our main character can see and interact with the dead and her home is haunted by a ghost that not only interacts with her on a regular basis, but can also "dream hop" to people he's already met and interact with the physical world around him. He can open doors, he can throw objects, he can even will himself to touch the living people around him. In a earlier book it's even implied he has absolutely no problem proving to the living that he is there and he exists. One of our main character's biggest problems is she learns all of these things she shouldn't know and it constantly gets her in trouble, all the while she refuses to actually admit why she knows these things and it often gets her in trouble with the police. My biggest issue is one specific police officer who appears to care about her and tries to help her, but because she thinks he will not believe her, she will not admit to being able to see and talk with spirits, as a result, it leaves not only him, but the rest of the police force frustrated with her behavior. The reality is, the main character could have easily proven ghosts exist and that she can interact with them simply by having "her" ghost prove they exist. She's been alone with the one police officer more than enough times in her house it would have been such a simple thing to do and she refuses to do it. I feel like the author realized this giant plot hole since they introduce a new character that believes and understands the main character, but it still doesn't make up for the fact the main character appears to lack a very specific level of intelligence that could have saved her time and time again. And I am not speaking just about her ability to see, hear and talk with ghosts, as well as prove they exist. She is constantly making stupid mistakes that always end up with dire consequences. When you stop to think about it, it really is absolutely ridiculous. I am in the process of reading the next book, but unless I start to feel like there's some sort of change being made, I may not continue to read these books. There really doesnt feel like a lot of character development, the main character these stories center around has had almost no character growth to speak of, instead looking like a constant bumbling fool. And while some people might find these characteristics endearing, I find it tiring and clichéd.

A great Series!

I downloaded Book 1 for free and quickly got sucked into the whole series. Having said that, my review is more of the series instead of just this book. The characters are relatable and fun with a sense of humor. Situations that happen are real life things, like sneaking the last cinnamon roll or pigging out on chocolate cake. The author does a wonderful job of tying storylines together. Something in Book 2 may come back for Book 24. The other thing that is enjoyable is how the characters build relationships throughout the series. If you are into ghost stories, this series is fantastic!

Really violent.

I just could not make myself read past the first chapter.

Best Ghost Series

Honestly, this series is one of my favorite ghost series. Danielle moves into a house that used to be owned by her aunt without knowing there's a ghost there. With her gift of sight, she can see ghosts like Walt Marlow who died in that very house less than a hundred years ago. She turns the house into a bed and breakfast house over his objections since he feels like it's still his house. Danielle also somehow comes with a trouble magnet. She keeps ending up in trouble, being framed for murder or thief, or whatever. So with Danielle's gift of sight, she's able to talk to ghosts and help the cops or at least the victims find peace by solving their murder. It's tough though when the cops think she's really guilty and tries to pin it on her. Although by now, the cops are starting to realize that MAYBE she's actually a good lady. They're trying to stop suspecting her for everything. But there's also a good side to all of this trouble, she meets new friends that makes her happy. I so love Danielle. I can't wait to see her to get a real love interest someday. She deserves it after all of that trouble! I've read all of the books available in this series and all of them are pretty good. Can't wait for the newest one to come out soon.

Could Lily be dead? Come along with Dani to solve the mystery

Book 3 finds that Danielle has opened the Marlow House Bed and Breakfast and her best friend Lily has left Oregon to return to California to start the school year. Ian (the hunky guy across the street who we meet in Book 1) has decided to give up the lease on the rental and follow Lily to California. Nothing could have prepared Dani for a phone call from Lily’s mother telling her Lily had been killed in an accident in California, in shock over the death of her best friend, Dani and Walt are not prepared for Lily to show up at Marlow House. This book is a little deeper in description and story line that Book 1 or 2 but still is a great read. What I like the most is Dani isn’t ready to forgive Joe for doubting her when she said I didn’t murder my cousin Cheryl. Now when Dani is telling Joe Lily isn’t dead and in fact she is living in Gustav Stoddard’s house as his daughter Isabella he doesn’t believe her. Book 3 is great and yes I’ve ordered Book 4 this morning.

About time!

Love where this series seems to be going. Really good reads. Just drama but no gore. Like these books a lot!

Best So Far

I enjoyed every word of this story. All of the main characters from the previous books were included. Danielle was level headed, headstrong and a bit rash at times. But it was all in the name of friendship. I loved the way she stuck by Lily and never gave up on their friendship. I also loved the way she refused to be seen as a weak female when talking to Joe or Brian. Although, I hope in the future she and Joe can come to an understanding. This book also gave Lily more insight into Danielle and Walt's "ghost world". There were so many twists and turns in the plot that I didn't want to put the book down. I'm glad Danielle found an ally in the chief of police since her life seems to attract chaos. There were a couple of loose ends with some ghosts that I hope will be addressed in the next book. So far this is my favorite book in the series. I hope I can say the same thing after I read the next one.

A very interesting and very full story.

I'm totally hooked

I like the people in these stories. There are so many touching moments. I adore Sadie and love how smart she is. I'm glad Walt is still hanging around. I hope he never moves on. The stories are suspenseful, funny, sad and hard to put down. If you keep writing them, I'll keep reading them.

Wow!

The premise behind this story is unbelievably imaginative. I kept wanting to read to discover how everything was going to be resolved. Not to give anything away, but the ending wS absolutely perfect! Well done

The Ghost who wasn't Haunting Danielle book 3

This was another winner. I love this Author Danni as she writes a great mystery and writes a great book that you cannot stop reading. I read the whole book in one day. Loved it. She even has ghosts in her books. I highly recommend all her books and different series. Diana Romano

Another great ghost story.

Very entertaining ghost story book with great characters. Highly recommend.

Bobbi Holmes has become one of my favorite authors

I love the Haunting Danielle series by Bobbi Holmes. Once I start reading it is hard to put it down. I am currently on Book 4 and will read the complete series. I like a good read with a ghost in it and I like a good mystery. This series of books have both a mystery and ghosts. I recommend this book series.

READ THEM ALL!

I am currently reading book 8 of this series. I am completely addicted to these. As soon as I finish one, I must have the next! I'm going to be upset when I finish the series, and probably angry that the author doesn't have more for me to read. It is rare that I find an author and series that keeps me so captivated, and generally get annoyed because authors seem to recycle previous work with different names and places. That hasn't happened in the first 8 books of this series, which I have read consecutively. I have NEVER done that before!

Great friend

Lily is so lucky to have a friend like Danielle and a boyfriend like Ian. They never gave up on her. I'm glad Danielle and the chief of police talked, it's really gonna help her. If you live with a ghost hopefully it's one like Walt, who can make your dreams amazing.

Very creative.

This was very thought provoking . I really had to keep my mind clear it moved so quickly. I am so excited about this series I can't wait to get the next book. I am going to re-read the first three to see if I missed anything. Come on payday😭

Charming Ghost-Story/Murder Mystery

Reading the first volume of this series, I was reminded of the classic ghost story and movie (and tv series), "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" Walt Marlow is not a sea captain like Captain Gregg, but he is an old-fashioned gentleman who might be said to be courtly toward our heroine, Danielle "Dani" Boatman. In this second tome we meet Dani's obnoxious cousin Cheryl Hartford, who promptly complicates everything. Read the book to find out how everything resolves (rest assured, it does resolve). Winning tale, well-written. Bravo! A+

The Ghost Who Wasn't By Bobbi Holmes, Anna J. McIntyre

Five stars, Danielle is at again with the almost death of her best friend Lilly . Mystery around two other deaths connected to her.. Naturally with her conversing with the spirits.. She solves it.. And there is a connection between her and Walt.

Great mystery!

Another great mystery! Really enjoyed it!

Really good read.

It is hard to keep reviewing books in a series. If I did not like the first 2 books, I would not be reading the third. While I did guess at what was going on before it was revealed I do not think that this book was predictable. Again, this series is more in the line of lighthearted suspense than dark suspense. I would recommend that you start with the 1st and continue through. While each can stand on it's own, it is nice to already know most of the characters and their quirks. I hope this series continues because I really enjoy reading these books and love the characters.

Friendship can be stronger than anything

When Danielle’s best friend is presumed dead in a car crash, the body to burned to be identified, Danielle refuses to believe it’s her. This is where the story begins, but the twists and turns will leave you wondering if it really was her or if it was someone else. Who are the mysterious couple who come to the inn to spend their honeymoon and what do they have to do with the car crash? Find out all the answers to all your questions as you read. I love this series and am going to start the next book soon. I hope the series continues for a long time.

Danni Danni Danni

If you read book one and two of this series you will not be disappointed with book three. Danni' s friend winds up in the wrong place at the wrong time and its up to Danni to help her friend before it's to late. See more ghost than she really is comfortable seeing Danni now has to turn to them for help. I really could go on and on about this story but I don't want to give away anything. It's a must read. Just as great as the first two. Now waiting for June 30th so I can get book four. Keep up the good work Holmes and McIntyre:)

A DELIGHTFUL ROMP

Completely entertaining. A delightful romp. Our heroine, Danielle, can see and talk with ghosts, AKA departed spirits who haven't actually departed. We are reintroduced to Walt Marlow in this installment. We are also reacquainted with Lily, Danielle's best friend, who is not alive but not yet dead. However, we are first introduced to Isabella who isn't aware of her actual condition and tries very hard to adjust to her new reality. The romp continues. This was very fast paced and engaging. It is a fantasy but presented well enough that you want to believe that it's true. Although a sequel, it can be read as a stand-alone.

He helps her solve the mystery of her missing best friend and the murder of an unknown woman

Danielle has a haunted bed and breakfast but she is the only one who can see the ghost. He helps her solve the mystery of her missing best friend and the murder of an unknown woman. The problem is since she knows things about the murder and kidnapping she becomes a suspect herself and when she tries to come up a reason why she knows so much her supposed cop friend thinks she is nuts. The book is filled with twists and turns and even hints at some romance at the end. Third in this series and I recommend reading the first two.

New series addiction...

Very entertaining mystery series, I'm hooked!

A fast paced good read

Holmes does it again. Plot thickens, ghosts abound with help, Daniel is again accuse of being responsible for everything that happens. Her best friend Lily gets to meet Walt and needs her help. An unexpected supporter believes in her. Good read with all kinds of twists.

Another Fantastic Book

In the previous book, I was aggravated at Danielle for being such a spineless woman. Apparently her spine has strengthened at least a little. This story had quite a twist that became a shocker that kept me practically breathless with tension. Some of these ruffians are vicious! Now I want to see what other frightening adventures await Danielle.

Another Great Read

This one kept me on the edge of my seat! I remember running to my sister and saying oh no, oh no, something tragic happened. Of-course it was something in the book. So happy with the ending of this story. Cannot wait to read the next book.

I like the way the author uses the characters in the ...

I like the way the author uses the characters in the story. Because I read as many of the Haunting series that I can, I feel like I know he basic characters so that makes it more interesting. I really liked this book.

as I never liked so called ghost stories

Haunting Danielle series I stumbled on by accident...as I never liked so called ghost stories. But I was so surprised I loved these books! I am hooked and am reading them all!!! I love the character and even the ghost! Always a surprise in each story and I will be so sad when I finish the last book! A must read! Thank you dear author for writing such fun and awesome books! So hooked!!!

What a great series!!

The reason why I rated this book as a five star is because of the characters. They all work well together. Especially the main characters. I got a little upset when I read that killed off Lily but then I realized that she was still very much alive. The camaraderie between Walt and Danielle is very believable. Thank you for this series. I can't wait for the next one to read.

Well written and fun read

I really enjoy the "Haunting Danielle" series. I like the characters, they are well developed and well written. Danielle is great at side stepping the fact that she can see, talk and hear ghosts. I enjoy her relationship as it were with Walt, the resident ghost of her bed and breakfast. I often hate to take breaks from the series to read other books, but I am trying to savor them rather than binging.

Nice Addition To The Series

The third in the series and these just keep getting better. The author has taken a middle road in the paranormal genre. These are part mystery and part ghost story. Well done with well developed characters. No deep battle between good and evil in these just a good mystery and a main character that is trying to come to grips with her ability to see and in most cases speak to ghosts.

Great Read

Once again J find I can hardly put this book down. I live the spirits that come through these books! Would love to see and talk to good, helpful ghosts! How do you explain how you know something about a crime when a spirit has told you! Great Series!

My favorite so far!

I have really enjoyed the series but this one has been my favorite of the first 3 books!

Danielle's best friend has disappeared

Danielle's best friend has disappeared, only to reappear in Marlowe house as a ghost. But Lily can't be dead, can she? Danielle isn't so sure the ghost is real, but can she find Lily before becoming a ghost is Lily's fate?

I LOVE THESE BOOKS

I LOVE THESE BOOKS. ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY ARE NOT LOADED DOWN WITH VIOLENCE & SEX. THEY HAVE GOOD STORIES TO THEM AND I AM READING ONE THAT I BELIEVE TO BE NEXT TO THE LAST BOOK. I HOPE NOT BECAUSE I ENJOY DANIELLE & WALT SO MUCH. THE AUTHOR IS A SUPURB WRITER & I WILL READ ALL SHE HAS TO PUT ON PAPER.

Countrylibrarian

Great series. Love the characters. Can't wait for Dani to finally let Joe and Ian in the loop. Enjoy the series.

Addicting

Love.love this series. Hard to put down. Enjoy all the situations Dani gets into. A fascinating book that keeps you wanting more!

Great series

Love this series. Wish it was available on Kindle Unlimited. I can't afford to buy all the books.

Finally, a good old fashion ghost story

It is so nice to read a good ghost story that does not have profanity or sexual connotations within the text. In additon, it is not graphic with blood everywhere. I have enjoyed reading everyone of the books and sharining them with my granddaughter. The books are pretty predictable, but the characters are lovely. Enjoying this series.

... the third book in this series and I have loved all three

This is the third book in this series and I have loved all three. I want more. I lvoe these stories that have ghoat in them. I think these are very well written. Witht the twist in them I can't sem to put the book down, and they are fast reading with how they're wrtten. I am looking forward to the next one.

A really good read

A really good read. Interesting storyline. Engaging characters, good pace and well written. No explicit or gratuitous sex or violence. Looking forward to future books.

Great ghost stories, i love Walt an Danni

Love all characters in the series, cant wait to read more. Fun books, always a mystery behind every open door.

I am riveted to this series.

I have read 1-3 in the series and intend to read the remainder. If someone would have told me I would be riveted to this series, I would have poo-pooed them. But, I highly recommend.

Danielle and Lily...everyone should have friends as they.

Onto Book 4, I am enjoying this series of ghost/spirit and friend adventures. Looking for a fast and fun read ...Read these books.

very enjoyable

once again i am so happy to continue reading this series..this is the third book and you must start at the first so you can understand all the characters and how their stories connect...worth the time and money spent once again...i pre -ordered the next book so i dont miss out...a very enjoyable read...

Great Story!

I am astonished that this series is over! I loved the characters, ghosts and other living humans that are part of this storyline. I hope that this review gives it the best recommendation possible! Thank you for the time that I sat reading this series and the enjoyment it gave me!!!

Interesting

This one has a very interesting switch; the ghost isn't dead...yet. I found this concept to be quite fascinating and happy to see it explored. As always the book is professional and well written.

Great series

This I'd one of the best series I have ever read. It will keep you posted on the best way of these things that happen in the right order. No worries about in which order what happened or when. Makes the most sense of any kind of series I have ever read.

Hooked

I like this series. It is easy to get caught up in the story line and I just have to get that next book and then the next. So far it is great, but we will see what the next book brings.

I thoroughly enjoy these books

I thoroughly enjoy these books. I have been hooked on this series since book 1 (which happened to be free). They are a fun light read which I usually alternate between my more serious reads. I highly recommend this series.

It actually made me cry!

This is just one of several I have read and I am hooked I hope she keeps writing this series

Things just get spookier

Walt shows up and so does Lily, but Lily has a vague reflection in a mirror,so she may not be dead.As Dani copes with the news that Lily' s car crashed and burned ,guests check in and claim to be able to sense spirits.Who are they and where is Lily' s body?

Dani and Walt

The characters are so real, and the interplay between Walt and Dani is great. I hope at some point Walt figures out how to safely leave the house so he can go investigate with Dani. Fantastic plots and ideas.

Review of online books

This was a strange one. I never thought about the information that it brought out. Very good. Great read.

I am addicted

I can't believe it! I am addicted to these books! Well written, characters are believable, and the story line is intriguing! Love a mystery with a ghost!

Love*****

The only thing I'm disappointed about is that I have to wait for the next one! Such a good series. I really feel attached to the characters and can't wait to find out what happens next

I will definitely read more of these books. Fun to read.

These books are fun to read. Kind of reminiscent of the Nancy Drew books of my youth, but for adults.

Great book

This book draws you right in. The story is about Danielle, who inherits a mansion inhabited by a ghost. Not spooky, not scary, just a good read.

On Book 3 Now!

Love this series. I highly recommend.

100💖

Bobbi Holmes is such a terrific writer. She just keeps pulling me in. I never want the series to end.

Loving this entire series

Three Stars

Not that interesting.

Five Stars

liked all three books waiting for the fourth.

Disappointed reader

I "had" been thoroughly enjoying this series until roughly halfway through this book. Cozy mysteries are supposed to be enjoyable relaxing reads; not real life but an escape from it for a few minutes, As soon as Claire decided to sell Sadie, and for the heinous reason stated, I knew this would be the last book I read by this author. I skimmed the remainder of the book and unfortunately kept thinking about "bait dogs" for the remainder of the evening. I would've recommended this series up until the direction this book took. Disappointing.

Five Stars

I loved this series and waiting for more!

A Multi-Layered Ghostly Mystery

I enjoyed listening to this audiobook. This is only the third story I’ve experienced written by Bobbi Holmes but I like her cosy writing style. The pace of this tale was steady and I enjoyed how Bobbi revealed the new characters’ personalities and plot threads to us as the story progressed. Although The Ghost Who Wasn’t is the third story in the Haunting Danielle series, I don’t think you have to have listened to the first one before starting this adventure. I enjoyed going back to Marlow House and getting to know the folks of Fredericksport better. Our protagonist, Danielle Boatman, continues to exhibit many of the personality traits that I love. She’s an intelligent woman, whose curiosity sometimes leads her into dangerous situations. However, Danielle isn’t fool-hardy and I love her kind-heartedness and determination. There are lots of supporting characters in this series, showcasing lots of different personalities and complexities. Some are regular features, while others just make an appearance as part of the current story. Danielle’s bestie, Lily, has quite the adventure in this book and I liked how it affected her character. 😂 The Fredericksport police department, once again, played a major role in this mystery story. My feelings towards Jo and Brian are even more frosty, while the Police Chief managed to earn my respect. While Walt Marlow is definitely a man of his time with sensibilities to match, but I’m enjoying his efforts to integrate with this century. 😘 Watching Danielle handle the situations she was plunged into during this tale, made me appreciate her patience and resilience. It all felt very natural and believable, helping me to fully immerse myself in the story. Romy Nordlinger is still a relatively new-to-me narrator. I’ve only heard her narrate the previous audiobooks but I like her performance. Once again, I enjoyed the pace at which Romy read this book and liked the emotion she brought to each scene. She’s managed to create subtly different voices for each of the characters we encounter. The male and female voices varied enough to mean that I was never confused as to who was speaking. However, during scenes with lots of conversation between men, I would have preferred more pronounced differences. The Ghost Who Wasn’t is a good cosy mystery. The story has everything that I look for in a good cosy. Wonderful characters that would fit in with any small-town setting and a plot to keep me engaged. There are a few good mysteries to keep my Miss Marple tendencies happy and quite a few scenes that got my hackles all riled up. We’re always looking for the feels a book give us, right? There’s nothing in this audiobook that could cause offence. I’d recommend The Ghost Who Wasn’t to anyone who enjoys cosy mysteries with a paranormal focus. Thanks to Tantor Audio, I’ve now got the whole series waiting patiently for me on my audiobook player. 🎧 😍🎧

Nope

I thought I would give this series another try and was disappointed like before. The story line went on and on with nothing relevant being said. In my opinion the author writes at a 5th grade level. The main characters act like they are in high school. Again just my opinion.

Fast paced and thrilling mystery...

4.5 Stars... Lily literally finds herself having an out of body experience when she is the unfortunate victim of a brutal car jacking... Danielle races to save her best friend and finds herself in the middle of another murder mystery etched with family betrayal... With the help of Walt, Ian, and Lily, Danielle figures out the clues and avoids the inside of a prison cell once again... With a great mix of humor, mystery, and romance, Bobbi Holmes gives her readers another fun and thrilling read:)

Wow!!

I think it was the middle of chapter 2 where I got sucked in and had to finish reading it and ignored my life. I liked how Danielle's abilities worked to figure out the mystery and her new connection to the police chief. Joe has got to quit treating her like she's incompetent. Love Walt!!! I think maybe Lily told him that Danielle would like a dream with him or he figured it out on his own. Can't wait for the next book!!!

A remarkable addition to the Haunting Danielle series

This has been my favorite book so far in the Haunting Danielle series. I appreciated Bobbi Holmes letting the reader in on some of the subplots before Joe and Brian had it figured out. The relationship between Danielle and Walt continues to grow and I'm still not sure how I feel about it. I would hate to see Danielle heartbroken after everything she has been through. OK...on to the next book!

Very fun story

Now this is my kind of story. The author really ticks you off, then works her tail off to put things it where they should be in the first place, and then throws in a good bit of humor to help move things along!

Plot nice, overbearing characters PAINFUL

I really liked the first 2 in this series. But this book is almost unbearable with the male police characters. The "overprotective" Joe police officer (who believes her to be manipulative and has "looked into her background" for her own "good") involved in the main character's personal life is gross and creepy, but not in the ghostly way. There is no woman who would be patient or polite - I wanted to keep waiting for the main character to tell him to back the heck up and call her darn lawyer. How anyone wouldn't have slammed the door in his face long ago and changed the locks - told him to speak through a lawyer (especially with her $10M net worth) is beyond believe. I like a cozy mystery as much as the next one. but ooooof - creepy and not in the good way for this one.

Awesome!

Awesome series. Very relaxing read after a tough day. I am reading the series again.

This could have been a really good series . . .

This could have been a really good series, but the protagonist is just stupid. She goes to see a dead body alone knowing she'll be the main suspect, breaks into a home, just does dumb things with no forethought. Never considers that she can be caught. Also, the story lines don't change - it's always about finding jewelry.

The ghost who wasn't (haunting Danielle)

I don't usually write reviews but I absolutely love this series! I'm waiting very impatiently for the next one which doesn't come out till the end of June. I hope to find another series by this author that's as great as this one! Anyone that enjoys ghost romances and murder mysteries will enjoy these books.

Love this writer

Love this writer! Storyline is easy to follow. There's humor and twists and turns to hold your attention. Would recommend this author.

Fantastic mystery

This was a great read, as the first two that I read. I enjoyed every one of these books, and can't wait for the next one. It's a delightful mystery, paranormal, and suspense rolled into one. I couldn't put it down from the start.

Great story

I cannot think of enough good things to write about this book. Great story, great characters and a simple joy to read.

Five Stars

great book

Oh Please.. I give up...

Loved Book One in this series, returned Book Two, tried Book Three because I really wanted to like this series. Gave up and returned it after first couple chapters. The authors have Danielle doing stupid things. Like putting up with abuse from the local cops for one. In another instance Danielle's BEST friend in the world is missing, and Danielle KNOWS where she is.. keeping in mind that Danielle is a multi-millionaire.. Danielles calls ONE shady PI in a city several hundred miles and hopes that he'll believe her enough to maybe go look for Lily, while Danielle hangs out at home and lets the local cops belittle and berate her. REALLY??!! If my best friend is missing, and I know where she is, and I know she is dying, AND I'm multi-millionaire.. I would hire 10 PI's, a couple private paramedic teams, sic the local SAR on the case AND hie my own but on a chartered helicopter IMMEDIATELY. So.. for me.. I really REALLY wanted to like this series, but ridiculous situations, and a watered down weak main character just broke it for me. I'm really sad about this.. so much potential.. I intended to purchase the whole series.. I really wanted to make it to Book Five about Halloween.. but alas..

Ghosts

I've been looking for a good story with ghosts and lo and behold I found this series. I'm loving these books.

great fun

This book is full of fun and mystery. What a great combination. Love this series.

Roaming ghosts...

5 rating = interested from beginning to end. A few ghosts to keep Danielle's life hectic. Lilly is back at B&B. Calm for now until .......

Just loved the book.

Pleasant read

Quite like these tales. Getting to read others as time goes on

Love it

I'm loving this series of books. on number 5 at the minute

Just brilliant!

I've read book 1, 2 and this one, book 3 in little over 3 days. Ingenious plots and I'm totally enthralled by all the developing characters. Every time Walt appears I see Rex Harrison! I've already downloaded book 4 and can't wait to start reading it. I can see that I will be totally lost after I've read Book 19. Hope Walt doesn't get written out! If you like a bit of 'ghostiness' mixed within a 'who dunnit' you won't be dissappointed.

Good story

I love these books,I am definitely going to read them all. Good book to read before bed, you can always hope Walt visits your dream!

Great read

If you are looking for a straight in, easy read this is the book for you, well worth the read

The ghost who wasn't

Without being a spoiler- Danielle's most recent ghostly visitor is from more close to home. Slightly different spin on this one but still very enjoyable. I couldn't put this down and looking forward to the next episode!
