Unfortunate reference

For the first time ever, there was something I didn't like about a Berenstain Bears book. When referring to things that Brother and Sister both agreed on, it said they agreed that "no school is better than school". Why in the world would the author do that - especially since the book is frequently read to preschoolers who haven't even started school yet!

love it

I really like the stories that relate to real life situations, they are great for my. kids and they love them

Another great Bears book

Another great Berenstain Bears book with a good message that’s not too preachy.

love these books

CHARACTER BUILDING STORY

I plan to use this book with my Daisy Girl Scout Troop. I like that it uses situations that the girls might encounter in their daily lives. The suggestions for topics of discussion are helpful too.

Great books

I love these series. Such great value lessons and beautiful artwork

Great kids book

Fun story to read at bedtime and for kids when they get older and start to read.

Love the Berenstain Bears

Love the Berenstain Bears. Their lessons are timeless. My daughter really enjoyed this book and learned a lot about teasing as a result. She's been less sensitive about being teased now that she understands the difference between playful teasing and not so nice teasing. She loves this book.

Another winner.

I purchased this book for my grandchildren, they absolutely love all the stories which are very pertinent to their lives.

First class - one of their best

Very good, it treats dealing with teasing as a part of life, but not a good idea to do it to other people. My granddaughters, age 3 & 5, love it, along with many other BB books.

Classic

I bought this for my kids because it is such a classic. I grew up with berenstein bears books and i wanted to share the experience with my own children. My kids do enjoy teasing eachother and so i thought this book would be a great topic to discuss with them. Fun, educational, and on target! Love!

Five Stars

Berenstain books are always the greatest!

Kids love

Good story of how teasing can hurt feelings. It shows brother bear teasing sister bear; then he is teased at school after being chosen to be the principal's helper. Brother bear does not like it and is happy the next day when the gang that was teasing him found a new bear, who was different, to tease. Brother bear feels bad for his feelings and stands up for the new bear being teased.

A few funny twists

Classic Berenstain Bears, but some funny twists in here that even had me chuckling out loud as I read it to the kids.

Five Stars

A great story time for the little ones. The different titles touch different subjects.

We love reading these Berenstain teaching books to my kids . They always ask for then. Great

This was great to help them see how it causes hurt feelings

Had been listening to my grandchildren and mending hurt feelings. This was great to help them see how it causes hurt feelings. Can't say they don't still do it but it's gotten much better

The Hendersons Learn About Teasing

The Henderson cubs love to read about the adventures of The Berenstain Bears. Tonight they learned a valuable lesson about teasing, which is something they have yet to personally experience. The moral of the story is that teasing is no fun and shouldn't be one. If you can stick up for another cub being teased, you should do it!

Great book

Book is great but a little too long for a 2 year old. I can definitely use it when she is older!

My kids love these

A great way to talk about teasing and how to handle it. The books are always sweet, but not unrealistic in the scenarios . We also liked the one about strangers and fast food.

good book

My boy just picked up Na Na na na na from another kid. so I got this book to explain how it is not nice. He laughed a lot because he liked brother bear teasing but by the end of the story he understood that it doesn't feel good to others.

ok book

pretty simple story of "what goes around comes around" - brother stops teasing his sister when someone comes along and begins teasing him

Love Berenstain Bears!

This is a typical Berenstain Bears book with life lessons woven into the story. I wish it had a little more impact on my son who sometimes joins in on teasing, but it was a good book overall.

great book!

Great book to teach a toddler about teasing and feelings caused by teasing. I would recommend to anyone whose child is showing signs of this or not.

I teach 2nd grade and purchased this book for my class. This was a great book to help students who were either bullying others and being bullied.

My daughter loved it when she was facing teasing at school

My daughter faced some teasing this year & so I found this book. We read it together, and then I kept finding her reading & re-reading it....good stuff.

The Berenstain Bears and Too Much Teasing

The Berenstain's clearly understand the child mind when they wrote all of their wonderful books! The stories they use to illustrate their lessons and the pictures are delightful!

Nice book to teach children valuable lessons about teasing and how it affects other people in a harmful way. Thanks!

Great book

Awesome!!!

The Berenstain Bears teach life lessons in each of their books. My four-year-old and I enjoy reading them all. Too Much Teasing was one we didn't have. It's a great one to go with any book collection. I would recommend the book and the seller to anyone shopping on Amazon. The book was more than fairly priced, it arrived within just days of the order being placed, and the book looks almost brand new.

Timeless series

Having grown up with Berenstain Bears, I love that these have continued to be published and updated, adding on to all the original titles. I kept all my original books through the years so that I could share with my children and I've done that! The messages still resound and the memories of my own mom reading them to me as a child continues as I read them now to my children

Four Stars

Great

This should be a must read for all students due to bullying

I really liked this book especially since bullying is really mainstream right now. It shows what can be said, especially among young children. It can show how much it hurts your feelings.

Great lesson

I like the easy stories of Berenstain Bears. Both my kids love them (different ages). Engaging with a good story line. Lovely.

The Berenstain Bears and Too Much Teasing

Great illustrations. The content is worded more for 8 and over despite being a critical message for 8 and under! I did not see this as a 'First Time' book. There is a complication, extended story about valueing an individual's talents that did not have in-the-moment relevence with dealing/ being hurt by bullying. My young one was left feeling even more alone with the problem: "They don't understand; it won't stop them."

good education story book for young kids

B bears series are nice and interesting stories. and the quality of paper is nice and the prints are fine.

Great message

I bought this for my 6 year old son who has been having problems with teasing at school. He also loves Berenstain Bears books. It definitely started a dialogue with my son about teasing and how it feels. I also bought him the Golden Rule Berenstain Bears book and these 2 books work well together.

Four Stars

Good book about teasing.

Books are great

We have all the Berenstain bears books, and we love most all of them, they are great if mom and dad are reading, to a young child, and the art is good enough that the kids like to look at the pictures enough to be interested in the book

Christmas Present

The child that received this was very happy and was looking forward to the stories. He even had several stores read to him the day he opened it up. The smiles, entertainment, and lessons are worth it.

Good Book, my daughter made me buy every one for her and she reads them to me before bed. The lessons in these books should be mandatory reading for adults when they turn 21, it would make the world a more friendly place.

Engaging Story; Excellent Message

The adventures of Brother, Sister, Mama, and Papa Bear have entertained and guided children for decades. "The Berenstain Bears and Too Much Teasing" continues this tradition. In the beginning of this story, we learn that Brother often teases Sister, and, while Mama tries to get him to stop, Papa doesn't think it's a big deal. Neither does Brother, until Principal Honeycomb makes Brother a special messenger for the school. Almost instantly, Brother goes from being just one of the cubs to being the object of ridicule for Too-Tall Grizzly and his gang. He gets teased for being a teacher's pet. When Brother is on the receiving end of the teasing, he discovers that it really is hurtful. Brother is relieved when a big, funny-looking country bear starts school and takes the attention away from him. The new bear, Milton, appears to be a flop at every playground game he tries, and makes an easy target for Too-Tall and his crew. Brother quickly stands up for Milton, and helps him discover a hidden talent that makes him a school hero. Like most Berenstain Bears books, "Too Much Teasing" teaches a valuable lesson about how people should treat each other. It makes a great bedtime story to read to children, and is likely to remain a favorite through the time when they are old enough to read it for themselves.

Another great Berenstain Bears

As always great illustrations with a simple story These are great books for my son to read before going to sleep The formatting also eormed on my Kindle app

They are excellent reading!

We have had these books in our home for our children...40 years ago and now for our grandkids !! They are excellent reading !!

Get What Ya Dish Out

Brother Bear keep picking on Sister. Sister is hurting, but Brother doesn't care nor does he understand. That is, until some other cub starts to tease him. He becomes afraid to go to school and makes up excuses to avoid being there. He eventually learns what it feels like to be teased...the hard way.

Hilarious!

My 4 year old son and I were laughing out loud at this book! So cute, great Lesson and funny!

Super book!

So first of all the book this book helps teach the virtue of sticking up for people. I love it. (As reported by 11 yo who still occasionally reads his beloved Berenstain Bears.)

Five Stars

Good Book

This book is good. Brother Bear dishes out the teasing and doesn' t understand how much it hurts until it happens to him.
