Reliable resource —buy this book!

If you choose this book for your adventure (and you should!) take time to read the first few pages and the appendices BEFORE you go or at least while you are on the plane. Next look at the walking tours for each city; even if you don’t plan to visit each stop that is described you’ll have a very good overview of what to expect, potential stops, and other reliable advice about food and shopping.

The Only Belgium Travel Book You Need

Rick Steves is the only author who's travel books I purchase knowing with certainty that I will learn not only what to see and do in the places I am going to visit but also what not to bother with and what to avoid. With his tips on places to eat and sleep as well as the other wealth of information contained in each of his travel guides, tourists can really save money and more importantly time with just a little study ahead of their trip. I buy Rick Steves' books and recommend them to anyone.

Invaluable resource for DIY Europe trip

Rick Steves guides are hands down the best resources for planning a DIY European trip. I’d have missed so much had I not used the guide. Easy to navigate and create unique, meaningful itineraries aligned with my interests. I especially like the historical information provided for points of interest. Sometime the walking directions are less than clear or a price or a venue opening hour is different than published, but overall, very reliable. Highly recommend.

Very detailed

I read this book before traveling to Belgium and I am also referring back to it during my travels throughout the country. I appreciate how detailed the author is and how he includes bits of relevant history for each town.

Don't even think about going without it!

I love Rick's books! I have them all! I would never again try to plan a trip without them!!!! So far he has helped us through Germany, Austria, Switzerland, England, Scotland and Ireland. I just bought 7 more of his books!

It’s the only book you need for any European travel

Rick steves travel guides are the Bible in European travel. We buy his books as soon as we plan our itinerary. Also, as he suggests, I rip his sections book based on where we’re going so we never have to bring a whole book ( unless it’s one of his snapshot small books)

Great travel guide

Another great travel guide frim RS! The guide is accurate and up to date. I like that it is ment to have the pages marked up and removed so you take what you need daily. Once again, RS travel guides has made our trip a little easier.

Rick Steves Belgium: Bruges, Brussels, Antwerp & Ghent

Like all of Rick Steve's books it is informative, full of all the info one could want to go to Belgium.

Rick Steves is the best!

Wouldn't travel to Europe without one of his books. Lost his book midway through a trip to Italy once, and needed to find a bookstore to buy another one. This makes me sound sad, but hopefully illustrates what a great resource it is. It's compact but filled with a ton of information including what to see, where to eat, how to use transportation, and a bunch of other tips.

Great

What can I say? Who doesn't like R Steve's? I have so many of his books...I year out the sections I need when I travel

The best guide books

Great as always. Very good walking tours and tips.

Informative!

Very informative and user friendly!

A great book, good price, very comprehensive.

Great book, helped us get the most out of our trip to bruges.

A must for Belgium

Typical Rick Steve’s book with all the important information to travel independently.

Gives you what you need to know.

We really liked all the walking tours in this book, it helped up break away from our tour and enjoy things a bit more one on one. We even met many locals at several stops while enjoying coffee and some chocolate.

Great guide

Full of information and history
