this is the 11th book in one of his series. I'm his biggest fan ...love all series by Blake. This book got a 5, just deserved it for this book. Riley, is an amazing FBI agent. This story puts you there, grips you, tightens your chest, and you not only won't but can't stop reading. I'm officially a part of Riley Paige's life lol. I can't wait for book 12, out in March. Just love all Blake's series. The only thing that I am bothered by is the price went up, but I understand why, and it won't stop me lol.

Blake wrote an excellent and timely book. It was well written and kept me intrigued throughout the story. The Riley Paige Series is awesome! This particular story is about a serial killer who buries people in the sand and when the clock runs out, another victim will be buried. Meanwhile, Riley is trying to find time in her life to be with her family, date, and find a killer. A difficult combination to deal with as she still suffers PSTD. You will like this book!

Blake Pierce is an amazing murder mystery writer. I never get tired off reading his books. I'm always thoroughly enthralled in his mysteries and never disappointed. I'm glad that that Riley and Jennifer have become friends along with their working relationship, and that they both have dark secrets that further develop their bond.

Really enjoyed the book buried my head into it and couldn't pull myself away. Very nice read. Really enjoy the twists and character development in each of the books.

A fast paced thriller that you'd expect from Pierce. I miss the kind games from Hatcher though. I wish their had been more build up and suspense surrounding Jenn's situation.. It has made her look as if she is not as fierce of a character but instead is more of a victim when in past books Pierce had us scared Jenn was a force to be reckoned with against Riley until Riley could learn to trust her as an agent and partner. I'm hoping that'll change in upcoming books.

Unbelievable method of killing in this book. Blake Pierce always finds another strange way to commit a murder. I like how the story had plenty of twists that kept me from figuring out why the murderer chose to kill his victims in such a cruel way. This was a different approach to a murder mystery.

Fast paced, hidden anguish, and Enlightenment. Rielly and Jen get closer and Bill is still struggling with PTSD. Beautiful Sand Timer left at each murder site.

I haven't grown tired of the series. Ms Pierce keeps us interested in the complexity of agent Paige. Can't wait for the next installment.

I loved the suspense. I thought one of the storylines was brought in just to have another and felt it was contrived and unnecessary. But I still really enjoy the Riley Paige series.

What can I say? Pierce continues to enthralling and amaze. He is a fantastic writer with a great sense of drama.

Love love love these books! If you like suspense mystery murder and the kind of book you can’t put down these books are for you. Fast reading like James Patterson books that connect you to these characters and keep you interested. You want to get each one after you’re done to see what Riley is doing next. Great reading great author ❤️.

Another thrill ride with Riley, her old friend and the concerns she has for a co-worker, her family dynamics and feeling if she is up to this serial killer. Top notch, fast paced, never boring. Who can ever get enough of Riley Paige and her ability to get into the mind of a killer. Blake Pierce writes another great thriller. Thanks.

There are typos and misspellings like crazy in this book. I understand he’s pumping them out, but get a decent editor bc these are obvious. This is a quick read and once I start a series I finish it, but it wasn’t spectacular.

I really like the Riley Paige series and almost everything written by Blake Pierce but I’ve noticed something that has started to drive me nuts now that I’ve noticed it. Every 2-3 pages Riley (the main character) will ‘suppress’ a smile/eye roll/angry outburst/etc. Surely there are other words very similar and possibly more suited to the context than the very overused word of ‘suppress’. Plus after suppressing so many emotions/actions, it would seem to me that the fictional Riley Paige character might end up as a sociopath herself. I do feel that after reading the eleventh book of this series, I’m going to switch to another Blake Pierce series as I feel that after 11 books the main character has been played out and many of the situations have been repeated with only very slight variations.

I am finding the Riley Paige mysteries (books 1 & 2) very average reading and predictable. Some other things I don’t like is where we are told, multiple times, what a brilliant profiler she is, but her actions are far from brilliant. Good readers want to see characters unveil, not have it rammed down our throats. There are times the character is just plain reckless. Quite frankly, I don’t even find the character that likable and after 2 books she has failed to grow on me. A better series, I think, is the Tess Winnet series by Leslie Wolfe. Unfortunately, I finished that series so I am looking for other good ones, but this isn’t it.

Yet another Riley Page! I feel like this one is kind of in a rut of just going along with the other books on the series. The killer definitely has a different motive that Riley has to uncover, but all in all I feel like it is a rut. Im still going to keep moving through the series though!

I just finished "Once Lost" which is 5 stars. Highly Recommend this book as always his others prior to this. I am now reading "Once Buried" the 12th book in the Riley Paige Series. Will write a review once I have finished "Once Buried". Thank you Author Blake Pierce!!!!

This is a great story, full of suspense and Riley having to face some of her own demons. I missed Shane Hatcher in this installment, though, and I hope he will be back.

Ive read every one of his books and have pre-orders for the rest. I dont know where he finds the time to write so much but I'm glad he does. THANK you, Mr Pierce!

Although I enjoyed this Blake Pierce book, I was a little disappointed. Missing was the intensiveness I felt with his other novels.

This book is a true "page-turner"! Riley races against time to find the killer and Mr. Pierce writes in such a way he enables you to actually "feel" her emotions. Great book!!!!!

Love love love this series! Have read all of them and waiting for the 16th to be released! Only negative is that sometimes there are errors in the text such as a random extra word or the wrong name is used. But excusable due to the good content!

Have read all 12 of the books in the Riley Paige Series and have now pre-ordered the 13th book in the series. Great read. Could not put down.
