NKJV, Jesus Calling Devotional Bible, eBook: Enjoying Peace in His Presence (Jesus Calling®)

The text is the easiest to read out of the 10 or 20 versions I have tried. That is what makes this publication so good, in my opinion. I do not read the "daily devotionals" scattered throughout so I cannot speak to them. It is the font, size and color of the ink and paper that very good, IMHO.

This is not a Bible designed for research. In fact, it would be a plus if one knew the general location of the Bible's Old Testament and New Testament Books. There is a table of contents, with page #'s available. Rather, it's designed for devotional study. There is a topical index (example: Assurance, with page # for that devotional, story or prayer.). Perhaps you are familiar with Ms. Young's other publications. She writes through the words of Jesus speaking to the reader. Its value, for me, is as an additional source for spending daily time with God.

Sarah Young does an amazing job of making you feel closer to Jesus with matching bible verses to match. I try to read everyday to keep my walk with my faith stronger. Well written!

I have been reading the Jesus Calling devotionals with the iPhone app for a while now. They are wonderful devotionals to read every morning. The devotionals are worded as if Jesus were speaking directly to the reader which is a wonderful point of view. I decided to order the Jesus Calling Devotional Bible and I was not disappointed. I love being able to look up the topics of the devotionals in the topical index, or read a devotional along with a particular scripture I am reading. I can mark the scriptures that speak to me and other favorite scriptures as well as mark favorite devotionals. Plus you can use this as a regular Bible, of course, with the added feature of the devotionals mixed in. I highly recommend this devotional Bible as well as any of Sarah Young's other devotional books.

I love reading this Bible,has many of prayers from people in the same way Sarah young writes her books with scripture interpretation,as if God is talking straight to your heart. New Kings James version

I know LOTS of folks who use this devotional everyday and have for several years. It is ALWAYS appropriate for the day. It's amazing how the Lord works through this book! and through Sara Young!

Not that thrilled... will be selling on eBay (sending back would take too much out for shipping). If you JUST want a devotional Bible, this is good- if you want something with a bit of substance from a study standpoint, not so much. I LOVE the Sarah Young devotionals, and will continue to get those as more come out. And, I'll stick to my traditional study Bibles :)

This book saved my life. This Bible is so easy to understand . I was unemployed and I promised to finished the book and I'm almost done . I am so blessed that I bought the book and bought 3 more and gave it my friend, sister and my aunt . I will recommend it to anybody who is looking to buy a bible.

This is very good. But I have to admit that I have the regular book, Jesus Calling, and turn to that instead of this version of the bible. I think its worth getting, but it has the same exact stuff as the JC book. I thought it was going to have different things in it.

Absolutely the best book of Christian non fiction. Short, sweet and to the point. It's a great way to calmly go to sleep and rest with the true spirit of Christ. Like it says in the Bible, let's move on from old traditional teachings. The Holy Spirit is renewed power and kaleidoscopes verses that apply to your heart without deception of the truth of Christ. Very destressing and a comfort. Start with this in her collection first.

Best Devotional I've ever had! Very encouraging. A nice change from the constant "challenging" devotionals. It's reassure and perfect when it's been a rough year/time in life.

Who doesn't love Jesus Calling? Nicely combined with the Holy Scriptures.

This is an excellent Bible for my tablet. I recommend it for those who would like to take their Bible wherever they go, without having to carry a heavy book.

this is the best book there is. You sit quietly and meditate on Jesus first then open to the day. Read the devotion starting with your name as Jesus is talking to you and giving you instructions of how to deal with problems of the day. It is amazing how many times He hits problem right on. I have purchased over 10 of these and hand them out to those I feel need some help. The response I have received is amazing. They all say "How does He know that was bothering me so" The writer is truly gifted & with God's help she is able to do this. I could give away many more but I have to pace myself. This is small book and easy to carry with you if you travel.

Not sure what to say except that it is just an excellent source of comfort.

I love it ---comforts you and helps your faith to grow in the Lord. Have given copies to others and have only had good feed back.

Lovely book. This is the softback version I believe. I have both. Very inspirational and easier to turn pages and hold compared to the hardback. Everyone should have one.

The Bible is perfect condition. Love it.

I have the hard copy and have enjoyed it very much so I purchased this Bible for my Kindle Fire HDX. I have no complaint but like the Nelson's "Women's Study Bible" that I have both in personal size and large size (my favorite of my many Bibles) the e-books you can't copy and paste. I journal In my Kindle so I am disappointed in this. If anyone knows otherwise I would love to know. I can on Youversion bible's but I want Sarah's notes as well.

Read every day - wonderful inspirational book

I really like the author's commentaries. She makes the Bible come alive, more personal and compassionate. The inserts allow the reader to relate the readings to everyday life, and brings the message from the Bible to the reader that will be remembered. It is similar to her daily devotionals, but directly relates to the Bible message. A new Bible that won't grow dust on dust on your shelves!

I've read more versions of the Bible than I can count. This one is outstanding. The devotions are so realistic, nothing overly sweet. sugary coated. When hypothetically Jesus it speaking is right in line with scripture. I have always been a fan of the Old King James Version, but this one has my vote for sure.

This was a wonderful support while traveling! Having God's Wonderful WORD supported by Sarah Young's beautiful thoughts is a blessing!

I find this highly comforting. The NKJV Bible is much easier to understand than the original Middle English version.

This devotional is so good, I don't know how many times I have read a day's devotion and it spoke to something that I needed to read on that particular day...I have given about eight so far as gifts, and the people to whom I have given them have nothing but good words to say...almost like hearing from Jesus personally

The new covering they are putting on Bibles, etc., that is like a leatherette, lasts a long time compared to bonded leather. Nothing will beat genuine leather, but this cover is sooo soft, and has all of Jesus Calling intertwined in with the Scriptures.

This is a very nice bible. I appreciate that you can look up prayers and devotions based on the emotion you're feeling. When I'm angry or hurt I want comfort immediately. This bible gets you there quickly. That's what works for me.

Great resource for reading through the Bible? It has added comments that enhance the subject you are reading. I have just starred reading this book. I purchased it because I like the daily devotional titled "Jesus Calling" by Sarah.

Have never been a bible reader....but this makes my Jesus Calling, complete so I can read the passages recommended. Wish it had more ribbons to mark certain passages better.

I would recommend this Devotional Bible to anyone who is struggling in life with any issues whatsoever. Great bible. If you have the chance to buy the accompanying devotional, do so. It is the best devotional I've ever used...and I've read many. I'm already repeating it a second year. A few months ago my family had a horrible tragedy happen and this journal was the only thing that helped me pray, encouraged me, and kept me connected to God. I've given it as gifts many times.

I had been given a copy of Jesus Calling after the death of my daughter and found such comfort in it. When I saw I could get the devotional bible that included Jesus Calling and Jesus Lives I was excited. I highly recommend it.
