Naruto Illustration Book

I'm a portrait artist and recently started dabbling in cartoon/anime marker drawing so when I saw this pop up I immediately bought it to use as a reference. There are so many AMAZING images in this book. The colours are vivid, the pictures detailed and overall the images are ones I hadn't seen before. If you're a hardcore Naruto fan/collector this is a must have.

I absolutely love this book! I've been a Naruto fan since high school, possibly sooner, but I'm so behind in the series, I don't remember where I left off! Anyway, when I received this book, it came in great condition. With paperbacks, I always get concerned, but I'm happy! Every page is so beautifully designed and colorful! It's just so enjoyable, I could look through it for hours! The pages are so smooth and glossy, and the cover is as smooth as butter, it's amazing! Great purchase for every Naruto fan!

I accidentally bought two of these and one of them I have no complaints about, but in the other book several pages fell out, so that was disappointing. Otherwise the art, price, and shipping were excellent.

If you are a fan of the Naruto manga/anime, then this illustration book calls out for you. It's a collection of illustrations by Masashi Kishimoto, the series author and artist. Most of the images are blown up versions of tankouban covers and splash pages, but this is not a bad thing. Seeing them full-sized, without the clutter of words thrown over the pages is a sight to behold. Kishimoto's art is beautiful and it really shines through in this book. Also included is a fold-out double-sided poster of the jinchuuriki, as well as a page of stickers featuring a collection of tankouban cover illustrations. At the end of the book you'll find a series of pages containing little blurbs about each illustration written by Kishi himself. It isn't much, but adds a nice personal touch to the book. No complaints or buyer's remorse here, this is a worthy volume to have on my bookshelf.

this is my first art book and I love it. the art is amazing. there is a lot of naruto in it which makes me happy because he’s my favorite character. definitely recommend to everyone who likes naruto

I second Naruto Esteban's review that this art book, while offering some great illustrations, falls short as a collection when compared with the earlier volume. I think the 1st volume conveyed more self-conscious effort on Kishimoto's part to do challenging compositions and capture dynamic ideas. It was as if Kishimoto was proclaiming, "this is the world of Naruto, this is what a shinobi is!" Some of his inner struggle and effort show clearly in the comments in the back of the book. Also,the color choices were more diverse between illustrations, keeping the eyes freshly entertained as one turns the page. Kudos to the editting staff. In the newer volume, Kishimoto seems more sure of himself as an artist but the illustrations are somehow lacking the passion and the fresh drive of the earlier works. Maybe the artwork seems too settled, too sure? The comments for each illustration are much shorter here, which is a shame. Technique-wise, the illustrations are definitely more anime-style both in choice of color and use of clean, simple lines. The thematic organization of illustrations seemed like an afterthought and not very relevant, probably because this art book is geared towards someone who already is very familiar with Naruto. To be fair, there ARE some very nice illustrations, particularly the 2 two-shots of Jiraiya and Naruto, as well as the "the master-pupil bond" illustration depicting the Sandaime, Jiraiya, Yondaime, Kakashi, and Naruto (from Jump 2008, Issue 35). Bottom line: if you can only buy 1 book, buy the 1st art book, not this one. If you can afford both and are an ardent Naruto fan, then buy both.

In my opinion, the artwork is inspirational and filled with passion. Basically, this is one of my favorite artwork books and I recommend that other people with an interest with manga or art should buy and look into this book as well.

I thought it was going to be bigger, but I wasn't disappointed. :) However, I noticed that the pages had started to fall out after about two days after getting it.

Amazing quality. Ordered this and another. This is worth the money if you also want to see a good portion of pieces that aren't in the manga or just their covers. A lot of it are things I have never seen before, which are beautifully illustrated. Worth the money 100%.

this is an awesome awesome book! It’s literally a picture book with incredible artwork and scenes- and at the end there’s a little photo descriptions for each page that are super cool. love it

The Art book is simply amazing. The drawings are colorful and lively. The charcters are presented in different ways. Naruto is so awesome and vivid. Akatsuki are pictured in few pages. There are stickers of all Naruto characters and 1 poster of all the Beju and junjuriki. A must owned Art book for any Naruto Shippuden fan.

Art is beautiful, but the binding sucks. After two looks through the book pages are already coming out.

Now the most important fact behind the purchase of this book is that it delights my son: he is a huge fan of the Naruto manga, and this book has fantastic illustrations and comments from Mr. Kishimoto, the genius behind the Naruto concept. For this the book gets hands down 5 stars. He got this as a graguation from 7th grade present. When ordering I saw that all sellers had only paperback versions of the book. I would have been very willing to pay more for a hardcover since I know paperbacks usually crack loose from their binding. Bingo: when my son, who is a responsible teenager, began to go through his brand new copy, it became all completely unbound. I really want others, and the seller, to know about this issue. I'm going to dig out my hot glue gun (at my son's behest) and fix it myself. Hopefully that will do the trick. Shipping was absolutely fine.

Very excited to have gotten this since I'm a huge Naruto fan and got this as a valentine's Day gift for my self to treat myself for making through almost my 1st year of college.

I love this! Its easy to flip pages, and view images, the reason i give it 4 stars is because there are some pictures that i would like to see, but i cant because of the binding.

A beautuiful book for all Naruto fans.

i'm impressed. i love his style. it inspires me to keep trying new things with my art. i'm eager to try out his drawing methods, using pen, sharpie and copic markers! he explains the steps to each drawing he does which i found very helpful and interesting. anyone who is a fan of his book and/or TV series, this is a must-have! beautiful illustrations, i can't stop looking at them.

Really love this book!

The book is decent, and follows the same format as the other art book. This one shows the Naruto cast when they are older. However, going from the other art book to this one, it's quite easy to notice that the author has been influenced a lot by the anime and the style has changed. In a lot of cases he's simplified things a lot and it loses some of its flare.

I love this book to pieces! At the very beginning is a page full of stickers, each one being a manga cover from volumes one to forty-seven, which I thought was a cool idea. You also get a poster featuring each of the Jinchuuriki. Of course, the actual content of the book is great, too, lol. Some of the best illustrations, all of them full-colored, in the series are here in this book. (from covers and chapter titles, of course). There are some manga covers, some illustrations from the beginnings of manga chapters, and even a few that looked completely new to me; maybe they were promotional art at some point (but they were drawn and colored just like the others soooo I don't know <_<;) or maybe they are also from the manga and I simply forgot. Point being, this is a great collection of Naruto pictures by our one and only Kishimoto-sensei. The one problem I have with this book is that it's pretty big and thus hard to store. I actually have to keep it in my dresser drawer ^^

If you are curious about a Naruto art book, you are a fan. It goes w/o saying you must be a fan to enjoy this. Having purchased the first artbook, I felt this one was leagues better.It is more than just a bunch of recycled images mosaic-ed(new word?) together. I would also like to note that all of the commentary is in the back of the book, so no text ruining the art. Also, the art is printed on quality paper, and covers the entire page, w/o borders. If a Naruto Illustration book interests you, you won't be dissapointed.

Get this book! That is, if you REALLY like Naruto. I had just picked it up today and love it! I also love the fact at the way they had did the art for this book. It seems to be they had done all the work out of markers and pen, occasonal pencil/cran. (I know what your thinking... LAME! Right?) But, for markers and things like that, it's great! It's inspiring too! Just from the fact with what tools they seemed to have used for the making of this art book. (Simply inspiring, in a not so simple way?!) So, get this if you are a major lover of Naruto and Art. Get it. Believe it! ;D

This artbook is brilliant. Every Naruto fan will be satisfied with the quality of pictures, comments and special materials present in the book. The only disadvantage I can see is that it's not hardback. The first artbook was hardback and it makes it much nicer for a collector.

A must buy for all Naruto diehard fans. It mostly has pictures from the earlier part of Shippuden (and some from Naruto too) and a cool sticker pack of all the main main pics.

Amazon seriously, improve your pakaging mine came with a minor tare in cover at the top of spine though its negligible but not ignorable either. I highly recommend this book to all fellow naruto fans outthere! Am a naruto fan since my high school, it was very nostalogic turings its pages and artwork was a delight! And also the fact that naruto is 20 years old now like pokemon, yes 2019 was its 20th aniversary. Masashi kishimoto is a fantastic artist, he has experimented diffrent style on charecters, the book contains artworks most from shippiden till kina pain arc i gess and some from naruto part 1, the book is a set of 3 this is my 1st and gonna buy other 2 aswell!

A edição é muito bonita. é bem maior que as hqs americanas, as cores quase que saltam das páginas e as ilustrações são originais (eu conhecia umas 5 ou 6 de todas as 90). O defeito, porém, é que as folhas não são coladas como em um quadrinho, são destacáveis, então eles acabam se soltando, mesmo se vc abrir com muito cuidado. Talvez tenham feito isso para quem quisesse enquadrar. Mesmo assim vale a pena para quem gosta do gibi ou desenha.

Si te gusta el trabajo de Masashi, merece la pena tenerlo. Dentro de 15 años te lo encontrarás por casa, lo abrirás y te invadirá la nostalgia al acordarte de las aventuras del equipo 7.

Lo he comprado dos veces (para mí y para una amiga). Primera recepción impecable, el artbook es mejor de lo que imaginaba, las imágenes son preciosas y me gustaron las pegatinas. Pero en la segunda recepción la cubierta estaba rota, por eso pongo 3 estrellas, era para regalo...

este libro de arte me gusta mucho viene muy buenos dibujos , lo único es la manera en la que están empastados los stickers ya que se llegan a despegar un poco y que se despego una hoja . enrialidad no se sisea facial hacer un cambio pero yo no lo hice por flojera

Fantastic book, really enjoyed all the illustrations in the book!! I think it would make a great gift for someone who is really into Naruto. My only complaint would have to be that that I guess the manufacturer didn't use very good glue when binding the book because the pages fall out really easily ://

The book is nice, my 11 year old son loved it he was so happy, I was disappointed because all this book is is pictures there is no works, it's not somthing you can read it's just looking at pictures of the characters that's it and some stickers.

Venía todo bien, pero hay que tener cuidado con las páginas porque algunas se sueltan. A mí se me han soltado algunas, y eso que lo he tratado con mucho cuidado. Las pegatinas son un poco feas, pero la calidad de las imágenes del artbook es excelente

O conteúdo é de primeira e merece 5 estrelas. Chegou depois do prazo e em uma embalagem simples que não provia muita proteção. Só não veio danificado porque veio no mesmo pacote que o de capa dura, que o protegeu.

Um excelentissimo exemplar. A única ressalva é sobre a capa, poderia ser capa dura como nos artbooks anteriores, mas este é apenas um detalhe. As imagens sao vividas e as ilustrações bem detalhadas. Um exemplar de colecionador para ficar guardado na memória.
