Metal Mage 12

This book ends up being more a slice-of-life episode of the series. We see almost none of our overarching enemy, and only a small amount of time spent with possessed minions. But we get LOTS of time with Mason and his women as they prepare for the big (presumably final) battle with the Master, which makes up for it. The final scene of the previous book ends with Deya's brother showing up, finding out that his sister is pregnant, and... ... at the opening of this book that has to get resolved quickly. Or at least, things are put on hold for a while, probably to be continued later. Good times. So in this book we get to enjoy Deya being pregnant, how that affects Deya and the other women. Hint: parental protective instincts kick in. Hard, fast, and with a a bloody vengeance. More good times. This book also explores the relationship with our favorite Tenumbrae mage, and some of the complications that relationship could be facing. (Oh, let's be honest: we know they WILL be facing sooner rather than later. There almost certainly will be mayhem and sharp objects involved.) The metal dragon gets finished! But with a slightly unintended outcome. Oops? Cayla gets a new weapon, and we finally get it confirmed that she is not "just a good shot". The other mage-women in Mason's immediate circle all flex their abilities and learn new tricks... much to the terror of those around them. It looks like we really are getting close to that final battle with the Master, which is both good and bad. Good to finish the story arc, but really BAD if that ends the series. Maybe this arc will finish but leave us with a new arc, because these are fun characters and I'm hoping they can continue for a while longer. Enough spoilers. Eric Vall has indicated that this series will be wrapping up soon, and with the ending to this book, we are in for an Epic and Bloody War! That being said, this series has been one of the best books series I've read by far and every instalment keeps getting better. We have a completed badass tuned Metal Dragon, 5 fantastic and crazy women who absolutely adore and love the MC and with their maternal Instincts kicking in, it just makes them more vicious and bloodthirsty. I am hyped for the next book, even if it means the series is one step closer to the end.

I don't know who is funnier in this book the girls, Dragir or the little metal man with the little metal dragon. I laughed my ass off with this installment. The sex, the fights and the humor have made this one of my all time favorite series. Just try it for yourself I dare you. Now spoilers from me just grab it, read it and laugh (at least crack a smirk) then review it..

And while Mason and Aurora prepare the Order for the inevitable war, Nulena works behind the scenes to keep their little family safe. But all of this is preamble, because as the book enters its final act, it becomes clear that the conflict with the Master is about to enter its endgame. There's still more story to tell, but the Metal Mage series looks like it's on its way toward a very fulfilling conclusion. I can't wait for the next installment.

Sounds like a big maybe the big battle is about to happen. Love the warlord hope she shows up again would love a battle of wills with Mason. Kinda annoying though with the spice merchant as we kept hearing about her and then boom Dragir. Dragir is kinda gunner in short bursts but feels more pricked in larger quantities. Still great book though

This is my favorite series from Mr. Vall (out of the 4 I read). They keep just getting better. Followed closely by (in order) Succubus Lord, Dragon Emperor, and Summoner. They are all pretty close and equally entertaining. It seems like he has the most fun writing this series and Succubus Lord. My opinion of course.

So, I really enjoyed the series and the finale of Metal Mage. Only wish that it could have continued on longer. So, in honor of the author's note at the end of MM 15, I'm doing my part to try and get each book of MM to 1000 reviews so that Eric Vall does a sequel of the MM series and continue the family happiness.

Cruelly love this series. Mr. Vall has developed such a interesting world and story. Masons finally going on the offensive. All the characters have their own personalities and the writing just keeps developing every character you meet. I love this series and can't wait for the next book.

Eric Vall is a genius! Not sure where you dream up these crazy adventures Ana powers but I absolutely love it. You sting things together that aren't easily thought if but they flow so coherently all while suspense continues building for what will come next.

This series has been excellent from the start. It's built characters that you care about and want to see succeed! War is coming and Jake has forces across the realm ready to respond. Oh and just wait until you meet Hagreth's mother! Now finally breakthrough, time to take it to the Master! Next book ASAP, please!

I so enjoy these books the action the inventing stuff the antics between friends and women. I find myself laughing out loud and my wife just shakes her head at me. Please keep up the humor aspect as there needs to be more humor in the world Thank you.!

Loved this book and really love this series! The story its self fun, full of adventure, and sexy as all get out. Just hope the author doesn't end the series too quickly like he did in a couple of his other series

This was a fun book. Seeing how the train has grown and seeing more of the kingdom. Meeting Haraghs mom was something else. But you can tell that the series is getting closer to the end. Which is just bittersweet. Can't wait for the next.

The battle vs. the Master continues, as they look for a way to take him (her?) down, and protect the people at the same time. I LOVE his weapon recreations in the medieval/magical world he now protects. Loving it!

Best book yet of an amazing series. It has it all. Dragons. Guns. Scary sexy killer shadow women. Haragh’s mom has got it going on. AR-15’s and most importantly daddy and mommy demons.

I swear this is one of the few series were each successive book is better than the last without fail.

Good books getting close to the finish.

Couldn't put it down

It's very rare that ebooks in the Kindle Unlimited immerse me in the story as deeply as this series has. The main character, while seemingly over powered, actually works hard to earn this level of power. The other characters are well rounded out and relative. The settings feel real, as do the rangers. This is one of the very few series I have become addicted to. There is a good deal of sex in this series, but it is geared to advancing the story. If you don't want to lose track of time while reading, then don't read this. But if you enjoy a well paced fantasy series that I hope will never end, definitely read this series. Read at your own risk! You have been warned...

Mason Flint, a mid level office drudge in an Illinois steelplant has been fighting skirmishes with the "Master" ever since he arrived in this feudal world where magic exists, Discovered that he has the unheard of power over all metal. He also learned that he has to stop the man who plans to send the planet into chaos! Flint has been fighting the Master to a standstill for now, but how long can you battle a madman who thinks nothing of sending his army to a battle to the death!

The series started out fairly serious and the sex scenes amounted to a few "fade to next chapter" moments, and somewhere in the middle the series twisted to giggling sex scenes and way over the top character development. Not in a bad way, but not consistent with the beginning books to the point that I suspect a different author took over. That said, I'm curious to see the series finish. Will there be a great reveal where the Master is unmasked as someone who's been in plain sight throughout the books? Will the main character be sent to the next realm in need of his valor at the end of the series? Will the herb vendor decide between the two generals or will she run off with the elf and the other 9 women he's attracted? Apparently I have to leave a review to find the answers to those and many other questions, so here's my review.

They cheer his name along the rails. They love him, they know he'll protect them. ...and he hates every second of the pomp and circumstance. He just wants to do his job. Though the way it effects the women he loves is a nice perk. I loved thus book. I love this series. Now is an excellent time to read them, because it's all coming together. Soon, we'll have a concluding book, and if you want to enjoy the fun that is Mason Flynt... read these books.

I've read Book 1 through 12 in the span of about 3 weeks. This series started out great. It was so interesting to watch Mason figure out his element and build cool stuff. I almost stopped reading right before the Elf books but somewhere in there Bobbie became a car. The Ogres are awesome and I loved their society. The most satisfying part is the Baron and Baronness getting it on! I can not wait for Mason to bring the heat to the Master! This is one of the best series I've read in a while. Dragons, Ogres, Elfs, Dwarfs and mages.. what more can you ask for!

This was one of the more comical stories. Especially the reactions of certain characters toward the end. Like when the baroness made everyone blind was quite enjoyable. This story was made better by the reations of both the main characters and the side characters throughout the pages. No grammar errors that I noticed either. A truly well written story. I cannot wait for the next book. It will be a shame if this ends. There is truly so much potential for an other 10 books.

Mason goes on a killing spree to protect his women. The women have a problem with his over protective streak. The take a train ride to station the protector at the forward bases. A assassin tries to kill Mason three times the women kill him and then the baroness finds who ordered it. The person paying for the assassin is killed. Next preparation for attack on the masters minions.

Eric has outdone himself this time. This book is a wild ride and feels like the perfect setting of the stage for the mega-battle with the Master's forces. Along the way we get to see more of how Nulena operates, both in business and in pleasure. We also get to see the changing family dynamics, artfully contrasted against others. All I can say is, I am ready for the next book!

Didn't know that I would/could become a fan of fantasy fiction. I am an avid reader mostly now on my KIndle with Amazon prime. Eric is a master storyteller with a vivid imagination. I always like reading where the words become visual and like I can see what is happening with the story. Can't wait for number 13!!!!!!!

I really like the characters and the settings in this series. How could I not?! The hero, Mason is a Metal Mage who can make cool guns, cars, bikes and a dragon. Plus Mason has five gorgeous women of several races as lovers, what could be better? And his devious arch enemy is enslaving mages and wards to start a war.

The series is starting to wind down and this book really sets us up for a terrific ending. I beginning to think this series was evolving into just more sex, more of the time but now we are starting to see more of the plot and more action. Well done.

The Metal Mage's magic keeps getting stronger and his allies closer. Eric Vall is quite the storyteller and this is one of his best creations. I hope that it doesn't take too long for the next installment but it will be worth the wait.

This was probably my favorite entry into the series. Finally figuring out how to fight the Master, Dragir seeing Falmount and the Oculus for the first time, and revisiting the towns from the first few books made for a very enjoyable book.

This series kicke off with a bang, and sadly, it appears that we are nearing its close. I would like to see more of the goddess that has not been mentioned in a long time, and maybe to see Alfred do some ass-kicking, but we have had a lot of character development for both Dragir and Nulena, and we got to see (momentarially) Mason's massive metal dragon and its unique personality.

Well you did it again you made an awesome new entry to the series and answered a lot of questions and ways I didn't really think you would and honestly it turned out to be a really good entry I noticed no vocabulary faux pas or any inconsistencies with the story so far you did a grade A job keep it up and I want the Nextbook dammit

Live the adventure get involved in intrigue and espionage. Then get laid have goddess blessed powers, and then kick ass across the country on a different planet!! What..Is....There not to love about this series?!

I don't just read this series, I hallucinate this series. The battles, the little moments between, the full-court press diplomacy, I binge this series like a diabetic at the Willy Wonka factory. More, I say, MORE!!!

It’s about time that he has moved on the more advanced weaponry. I am still pretty bummed that he still hasn’t created more vehicles at this point but the dragon was bad ass, although I figured it have a greater role. Also like it was stated in the book, mason should build a lot more. I would still like to see cayla with a real sniper rifle but the new AR is sweet. Dragir is definitely my favorite character in this book even if it’s only limited. Looking forward to the next book and can’t wait to see what battle unfolds

The more I read of this story the more I enjoy it. The scope and magnitude of each event keeps upping the ante. The mix of funny lighthearted areas with grand fights and battles make this series a must read

Dude! Seriously?!?! This series is AWESOME! Expletive! Expletive! Expletive AWESOME! Please tell me that the series will continue on to the next continent, then tje next and the next until Mason Flint is king of the whole planet. Also the series can't end until after I die.

Flint has his been busy this time. From fighting off the master to learning how to be a demon daddy. He got one hell of a time, and let’s not forget secretly plotting the death of a noble.

I really look forward to reading about Mason, his harem, and how he merges magic and technology. This book ended on a cliffhanger, so please Mr Vall, don't keep us waiting too long!

There is a lot going on for Mason. War against the Master. Head of the Order. Trying to impregnate three more women and best of all becoming the Demon daddy!

Another great one in the MM series. Follow along as they get in fights like normal, have more sex than should be allowed (LOL). Waiting for the next in the series.

The great saga continues and appears to be looking towards victory as the armies assemble.The adventures and lots of sex head towards a promised land.

Everything is finally coming to a head and I was in the edge of my seat the whole time. Another amazing addition to the series and I will be checking Amazon everyday till the next one comes out

Far and away the best Metal Mage novel so far, this book is encompasses an awesome journey for Mason and the gang, full of danger and a ton of laughs.

As the author has mentioned this series is headed towards it's culmination. This will not be a story with no conclusion. So feel free to start it.

YES! Think are ramping up in this installment of the Metal Mage series. Eric has delivered yet again and as sad as I am to the the end of it looming, it looks to be an epic one! So glad we finally get to see the darker side of Nulena's work as well as her....cathedral. Great book!

The addition of the elf brother of one of the MC's girls adds a very entertaining balance and dialog to the series. A great edition and addition.

MM12 showed Mason preparing the Ilaria nation to take on the Master. Like a good chess game, it was all about getting your pieces positioned. Add a little political intrigue with an assassination attempt and you have another great adventure.

So much going on! Love the inner demon thing going on! Get so close to be prepared. Can't wait for the next one!
