When they step into the Imagination Station, kids experience an unforgettable journey filled with action-packed adventure to inspire their imaginations. With each book, they’re whisked away with cousins Patrick and Beth to embark on a new journey around the world and back in time.
This 3-pack of books 7-9 includes the following:
- Secret of the Prince’s Tomb, where Patrick and Beth battle the sun and sand of ancient Egypt.
- Battle for Cannibal Island, where the cousins sail to Fiji in 1852 on the HMS Calliope and witness the sacrifice and determination of missionary James Calvert.
- Escape to the Hiding Place, where Patrick and Beth arrive in Holland during World War II and help get a baby to Corrie ten Boom.

Before you buy, please be aware...
I bought these books without flipping through them first but trusted the content was appropriate due to the association with Focus on the Family and they came very highly recommended/had great reviews. While I will say they are engaging and weave history well throughout the story, I wish I had known more about the content and do not personally find them to have age appropriate content. (My daughters are 6 and 8.) Please be aware that these books discuss cannibalism, kidnapping, Nazis, etc. There are also pictures of the main characters at gun point and talk of people in dark corridors with knives. Also just another observation, after briefly flipping through Book 1, I personally felt like there was a bit of a “holier than thou” tone. Christians = Good Guys, Non-Christian = Bad Guys. I didn’t personally appreciate this tone. Again, just writing this to inform others who are unfamiliar with the series. I wish I had known the above info before purchasing.
Worth every penny!
if you are able, just order the entire collection. Hide them and dish out one by one to your little reader. These things were like currency. Seriously my son would gladly complete lessons etc to get his hands on the latest book. He's been reading and re-reading the entire series for a couple of months now. I chose these as an alternative to magic treehouse, and have no regrets about it.
Great books
They are interesting for my 10 year old son, so much so that he has to read it all in one sitting. That being said, he does end up reading them fairly quickly. He keeps asking form more in the series.
Entertaining books with good moral themes!
The kids loved them! My 6 and 8 year old love these books; my 3 year old has a hard time sitting through them, but he still prefers picture books. My second grader is able to read the book by herself. The books teach good moral lessons and are good for helping to start conversations. The themes vary from standing up for your beliefs to doing the right thing even when it is hard and people are against you. The kids find the books to be entertaining and look forward to reading them.

Our 7 year old daughter loves these books and reads through them in less than an hour. Our 5 year old loves to have them read to her. We have books 1-9 now and look forward to getting more. The kids all love the pictures too that are throughout the books.
Great Book Series!
Our son is absolutely devouring these books. I just ordered the set after this one. He is even writing his own books with Patrick and Beth in them. I like that the series has many historical concepts in them so it gets discussions going about historical events. Really a great series! Our son is 8 and will be 9 in one month. He is enjoying these immensely.

8 year old loves these books
My 8 year old loves these books, it was my second purchase of them. The first set being books 1-6. I found these to be a great way for him to transition into novels. They still have pictures on some pages but also the story lines are historic and Biblical. It has peeked his interest in learning more about different periods in history.
Great kid books.
My son loves them and they have made the transition to chapter books a breeze.
This series is amazing!
My son loves these books and he is a reluctant reader, so that's great news. I love the story content too. Great way of getting great values and history into my son!

if you are able, just order the entire collection.
Awesome books
Awesome books Great stories Edifying for our young readers 8-12 yrs Will recommend
Love these.

Wonderful series
This series is absolutely loved by my 8-yo cousin! He could be considered a struggling reader but he does well with these and he finds them very interesting.
