If I Believe (A Promises of God Novel Book 2)

First of all can I just say that God’s love is RECKLESS! I had been struggling for months to connect with God and it was weighing heavy in my heart everyday but I just couldn’t get there. I am an avid reader I can read about 400 pages in a day. I love fiction novels, but I had been reading a lot of books that were good, but I needed that God element. When I say after reading the first installment of this series I went and immediately purchased them all. Then I began reading my Bible and thirsting after God like these characters in this book. For the first time in my life as a Christian I realized God doesn’t want my perfection he just wants me to cling to him every second of my day. What I loved about this book is that I felt like I saw myself in Faith and Treva. I feel like I’m transitioning from a young girl who made mistakes and became a young mother like Faith and trying to heal as a woman from childhood hurt and the grief of the death of my marriage (in my case divorce). This book isn’t just fiction it’s a whole ministry. I am grateful for the gift of Kim Cash Tate. As an aspiring writer and English major she showed me I can use my gifts to glorify God and it won’t go in vain. Thank you for using your gift and giving hope in the Lord.

This is my first Kim Cash Tate novel. I'm a man of faith so of course I gravitate to faith based works. “If I Believe,” to me, is about believing that good things can happen to you, no matter what has already happened. Cinda found her father after many years and didn't expect that he would open his arms to her. She found a love interest in movie star Alonzo Cole but surely he wouldn't be interested in little ole her. And the book gets you to wondering: why do we sometimes innately think the worse. For Cinda, it was because of her past. I imagine it is the same for a lot of us. The danger in that is the universe has a funny way of serving up what stirs in your thoughts. That's why the bible says (and I'm paraphrasing) as a man thinks, so is he. We have to think positively no matter what. This book will strengthen that resolve in you. I loved the lessons Kim Cash Tate places inside the novel. Think positive. Seeking first the Kingdom and making God the center of everything we do (Alonzo experiences this, feeling that tug to do right in an industry rife with wrong). And I loved the easy flow and dialogue. There are a lot of characters and the story does some shifting from one sub-plot to the next. But Kim manages the flows well enough. I would definitely recommend this novel to a reader of faith who wants to be entertained as well as edified.

Kim Cash Tate continues a strong series with If I Believe. In her last book, I was a little disappointed that the plot didn't seem to "thicken"--well, that certainly wasn't an issue with If I Believe! The story drew me in right away and I found myself surprised and eager to know what would happen next several times. Reuniting with some favorite characters was a treat, and I loved seeing them in new seasons. Treva especially drew me with her sweet December romance and the realistic ups and downs of a new marriage. And that pregnancy--WHOA! Paging the Biblical Sarah... Miracles do happen! But, I also loved how honest Kim and Treva were about the realities of a late pregnancy and how that impacted life at all angles. I loved the juxtaposition between Treva's new pregnancy and Faith raising little Zoe. How often do women get to be mothers, grandmothers, and friends in the same book? Blessed are the Langston/Alexander women among women indeed. I also thoroughly enjoyed Cinda's thread. I've loved the Cinderella story all my life, so the plot parallels and shout-outs were a bonus for me. I was afraid I wouldn't like Cinda's relationship with Alonzo, since he came off as a typical Hollywood star with all the typical problems. But again, Alonzo, Cinda, and their plotline surprised me in a great way. Both are real, multifaceted people growing in faith. Both have reasons to believe their relationship won't work, but also reasons to fight for it--and I love how Alonzo fought for Cinda when very few others would. The scene where he gives her the necklace, and when she asks to call him Zee, is one of my favorites. The presence of Randall Rogers is also a plus, particularly since Cinda is the star of a Cinderella story. That is, in most stories of this type, the father is already out of the picture. Here, Randall was in the picture, accepting of Cinda, and eager to provide financially, emotionally, and mentally for her. I enjoyed their talks and Bible studies, as well as the spiritual presence and influence Randall provided for so many in his life. Speaking of the spiritual threads, they're done well here. I cheered for Treva when she decided to write the Bible study, and I loved the conversations/study surrounding that. Jordyn's journey in particular kept my attention, and I can't wait to see her grow and learn more. The part at the end where Treva's family finds her "if I believe" statements was a definite favorite for me. I'd like it if Kim made the Bible study real and available to readers so I could take it! There are a few weak points. It mostly comes down to having so many characters in one book. For the most part, they get the page time they need, but some characters and threads could get two-dimensional or repetitive at times. A good example would be the love triangle between Faith, Reggie, and Jesse; I'm on board with Faith's final decision but the getting there was a bit wearing at times, because in my mind Jesse had already proven he wasn't the guy for her. Then again, I thoroughly appreciate Jesse's honest repentance and accompanying journey, so even that ended up okay. There's also the sense that I don't know these characters as intimately as I should or would like to. The series seems plot-driven more than character-driven, which is fine--that's an author's choice. So, this is a matter of personal preference. Overall though, I'd say If I Believe is as good as, if not an improvement over, If I Stumble, and I'm curious to see how the series wraps up. I love the overall message that belief and hope are still possible even when we think we need to give up.

Out of the series I believe this is the most moving!!! There is reference to the Promises of God and bible study series. I took notes, highlighted, and reread several parts of the book. It has inspired me to research bible study groups online. I was new to the author KIM CASH TATE and bought all of her books once I started Though I Stumble, the first book of the series. I cried, laughed and prayed with each of the characters. It's real, in the sense that you can relate to their struggles and look forward to seeing what happens next. The books were so god not only did I buy all of the other books by Kim Cash Tate but I couldn't put them down. This is definitely something I can read over and over again and look forward to anything else she writes!!! The story is about 4 friends and their families. We go on their journey/seasons in life and how they deal with common struggles and relate their struggles through scriptures. It is quite moving, especially because I made a New Years Intention to read the Bible this year, and this series definitely gives reference to different places to start and Scriptures to memorize. I can't wait to start on the other novels, they appear to be the background of main characters from the Promises of God Series!!! I am a new HUGE FAN of KIM CASH TATE!!!!!

This book solidified this author as one of my favorites! I loved this book and screamed, praised, laughed, and cried my way through it. I felt that I knew each character and felt I could identify with each of the main ladies and their struggles and triumphs. I know that God led me to This series of books to stretch and transform me. My thanksgiving out to the author of this book series because I know without a doubt that God led her to do this! I'd recommend this series to anyone that's questioning their identity, purpose, or if God cares for them. He definitely does and This book highlights that fact.

Once again, another page turner delivered by Kim Cash Tate!!! I could not put this book down! I read "Though I Stumble" when it was released and finished it hungry for me. "If I Believe" satisfied that hunger and made me hopeful that the story will continue. I laughed, I cried, and most importantly, I identified with each of the characters in this book in some way. Additionally, as a Christian, I found the Bible study scenes in the book incredibly helpful to my own walk with Christ. So much so, that I plan on modeling my Women's Bible Study after the one in this book. As long as Kim keeps writing, I'm going to keep reading. This woman has a God-given talent and it's evident in all her books.

This book is a true inspiration and a wonderful reminder of the promises of God. I know this author is a true woman of God, the bible studies in the bpok inspire to get back on track with what God inspired me to do after reading Though I Stumble. Kim Cash Tate pleases again with this book as it takes you on emotional roller coaster that gives you an opportunity to examine who God really is! This one will not disappoint. A lot of Christian fiction books touch on who God his but somehow she takes it a step further and inserts actual Biblical teaching in every story of every characters life even those who haven't fully turn their lives over to God. I don't normally read contemporary books I'm a historical fiction type of girl but I haven't so as touched one since I was virtually introduced to Ms. Tates books. In closing, I have to say as I'm reading I feel like I know every character or want to get to know them. They all seem so real the introduction of new characters was an unexpected favorite I can't wait to learn more about Allison and Tommy. This series makes me want to visit their church and order the Bible studies that Treva and Jillian studied in Maryland from Cyd. If you're new to Christian fiction like me, Kim Cash Tate is an amazing start on your journey for love of a new genre.

If I Believe had me rooting for each and every character to have the love they desired. But it also had me taking stock of myself and my heart as Treva and the ladies worked thru their Bibles lessons. Put those together and it's a 5-star read every time. Tate has a way of twisting her characters and their stories in unexpected, heart wrenching, reflection-in-the-mirror ways. I won't spoil the enjoyment of the story, but I dare someone to read it and not come away with at least one spiritual nugget for their life. A beautiful, special tale.

In the continuation of the Promises of God series, we see a few new characters along with the same ones we know and love. One element that caught my attention was the play on Cinderella. What I appreciate about Kim's writing is the fact that she doesn't include what I like to call "fluff" in the romance aspect of the stories. What I mean is, a lot of stories with the Cinderella theme are very superficial. Girl has hard life, girl meets boy, they loce happily ever after. Now back to Kim's style of writing. It's still true to a Cinderella theme, but we delve deep into who the characters are, and how they became the way they are in the story. These characters battle real-life issues, which makes them relatable whether you're in a relationship, looking for a relationship, or just happy single. Another theme I love in this book, and all of Kim's books, is the sense of godly community. We see people of different ages encouraging each other through life's hardships, sharing experiences, and having great Bible studies. It's jam packed, but this page turner is definitely worth it!

Book 2 was very very good, a typo here and there but not significant enough to change my rating . I felt some kind of way about Jesse and his flip flopping and toying with Faith. I thought that Reggie was a great catch and paired better with Faith. What can I say find a & Z were the it couple. Jordan was cool but at the end I still felt some kind of way about Jade and Janice. They were just mean. These characters had me in tears and praising God for my blessings. I recommend this series even though I have not read book 3 but I'm headed to it right now see you there, come on.

The book, If I Believe, by Kim Cash Tate should be on every Christian woman's must read list, and even on some men's must-read lists as well. Tate creates believable, flawed, yet inspiring characters - believable because they are flawed, but inspiring because of their great faith in God and their great love for each other. This book made me laugh and it made me cry, the two qualifications for me to absolutely fall in love with a book and an author. Kim Cash Tate, thank you for an amazing read and for challenging me to believe God at an even deeper level than I already do! The final qualification of a book to receive highest marks to me is its ability to challenge me in my faith and to help me grow in my walk with Jesus. Thank you, thank you, thank you! If I could give this book 10 Stars, I would!

If I Believe was an absolute good read from cover to cover. I enjoyed catching up with the members of Living Word Church and meeting new characters. The text is well written, characters and situations within the story are relatable and have you feeling all types of emotions. I like the concept of the themed ladies night bible studies. This story delivers a message of faith, love, hope, forgiveness, and causes you to take time to self-reflect and check yourself and relationship with God!!

I loved the second book in this series than the first. I cried real tears. (Winner) I found myself praying for characters in a book lol I think that I forgot that it was a book. That's always the mark of a great book for me when an author is able to bring their characters alive to the point that I am all in. I laughed, cried, got angry and frustrated with the characters. I am looking forward to the third book in this series. On the other hand, I'm kind of afraid because the author may have me praying for make believe people, again lol Get the book. You'll enjoy it.

Once I started reading this book I couldn’t stop. I found myself up late at night, eyes heavy- but not wanting to put the book down. It was definitely an emotional roller coaster. I cried more than once. At first I wasn’t sure that I wanted to get to know new characters. I just wanted to stick with the characters from Though I Stumble and hear about what was going on in their lives. But the way Kim seamlessly made them apart of the story was amazing and I ended up falling in love with all of the new characters and being transported to their worlds as well.

This book resonated with me in so many ways. I really saw myself in Cinda because I am quick to say I am a realist. The disappointments in life can cause a person to doubt and fear. I love the characters this author has created because they are so relatable with all the life issues. I love this author’s work because I always feel as though I am in bible study. I love how she explains the truth of God’s word. I am always encouraged after reading her books. If you need encouragement I would suggest downloading or ordering because you will not be disappointed. I wanted more❤️

What can I say about this amazing book. I am so glad I pushed it up further in my to be read pile. It was such a phenomenal story, and I didn't realize it had a Cinderella theme throughout the story, but I'm glad it was especially for brown girls who don't have enough examples of that. There were also a lot of spiritual themes throughout the story, and I shed several tears while reading this story. It was truly God inspired, and I can't wait to see what the author comes up with in the next book.

These books are awesome. I purchased, and read them a few years ago. There's finally a new book, so I'm rereading to catch myself up again. I should have given a 5 🌟's then, but I wanted to get to the next. These stories are about struggles, trails, doubts, praises, victories, and true love. Kim Cash Tate is 🔥 🔥 🔥

I really enjoyed this book because of the way life was presented...in a real way. I found myself wishing I could be a part of the lady's Bible study. I was a little envious of how their community of friends and family were there for one another. I appreciated the spiritual accountability shown in relationships. The message that God meets us where we are but doesn't leave us there was strong! I will look forward to reading the next one in the series.

Kim Cash Tate is my favorite author! "If I Believe" was brilliant!! Ms. Tate does an excellent job of bringing the people in her stories to life. You feel as though you are right there with them. I love the fact that her stories are Christian based, they have definitely been a blessing in my life and reminds me just how important my personal relationship with the Lord is in my life. I am far from getting it right every single time, but I strive daily to get it right the majority of the time. Her books are a great ministry tool in sharing the gospel and oh so delightful to read. I try to extend out the time when reading her books, they are such EXCELLENT READS, but because they are such page turners, I normally finish within a few days!!! I can hardly wait for the next book in this AMAZING SERIES!! Ms. Tate has truly been blessed with a special gift of writing that allows her to share with others through her books!! I am never disappointed when reading a book by Kim Cash Tate!!!

I loved it! This book was superb. This book is one of only a few that had me in tears, tears of joy, faith, encouragement, God's love and promises. Oh I can go on and on. This was and is one of the best and most spiritual books I've ever read. I highly recommend it to everyone! The sinner, the doubtful person , every new Christian, the tenured Christian, and ALL of us that need to walk in God's promises The scriptures could be and should be used in bible studies, women groups, book clubs, and even incorporated into sermons.

Another great book from Kim Cash Tate. The characters are so real and authentic. You find yourself really rooting for them, crying with them and rejoice with them. This book was high on romance, but still full of spiritual themes. Cash Tate challenges her readers to stand on God’s promises despite life’s challenges. I can’t wait to read book 3.

I just finished this book (and Book 1 last week), and am speechless! This is definitely the BEST Christian fiction I've ever read... and that's saying a lot. I could say so much... the plot is not only relatable, but relevant, given the books' recent publishing. I laughed, I cried, and likely, my mouth gaped open multiple times from shock. I loved the plot twists... it wasn't the typical, 'inspirational' novel. It drew me in and kept me there, so much so that I finished both books in less than two weeks. I'm grateful that this was my first read of 2018, as it has helped set a precedent for my year. I really hope that a devotional will follow based on the title of the series... and, of course, more in the series overall. KUDOS TO KIM CASH TATE!

I could not put this book down - it was so well done I truly feel like I am was living life with these characters. The faith message is strong and REAL. I absolutely love how these christians interact - dealing with real problems in a way that resonates with everyone. I would love to meet Kim as I am inspired by each book in so many ways. My only complaint is that it is over. Read this book, you will not regret it for a minute!!!!! God has spoken so very clearly through this author - thank you for saying YES.

I read the first one and had to follow upon this family I loved it from beginning to end. A book about the reality of living a Christ life. She addressed issues and truths the are often shunned in the church among christians. This needs to be read by all believers and received as manna from the Lord. Thank you sister Tate. Kim cash tate, a master storyteller, has done it again. From the the poignant dedication to the very last word, her story of friendship, love and redemption has something for everyone. This book was such a great read, with relatable and realistic characters. The issues in their lives mirror the issues we face daily. It was refreshing to read Godly perspective and insights. The Bible study the characters participated in was a blessing to me as well! I was excited to become more acquainted with old friends and to meet new ones! Do yourself a favor and read this book. It's a great place to start. Once you've read one you will definitely want to read them all. You won't be disappointed.

Kim Cash Tate has been one of my favorite authors for years. She never disappoints. If I Believe is well written. Kim has the gift of entertaining readers while building up our faith. Every storyline in If I Believe shows the faithfulness of God. My favorite line, "That's all we are as humans - messy. God's hands aren't tied because we mess things up." To date If I Believe is my favorite Kim Cash Tate book. I can't wait for the next book in the series. Great job Kim

I absolutely love ALL of Kim's books. You can always count on her to give you so many lessons tied to scripture. Kim's books make you take a self examination and when you arrive at the end of the book, you're ready to change. You take those scriptures and prayers to heart and ask God to help you improve in those areas. If I Believe will truly minister to you, and bless you in so many ways. I'm literally in tears so to God be the glory for the way He continues to use Kim. I'm looking forward to reading her next book!

This book, the follow up to Though I Stumble, is perfect for anyone in every season. Being reminded of the promises of God through the lives of these characters is no doubt one of the most impactful things about this book. If you’re reading this for the first time, you can absolutely read it for the drama or the romance... or even the comedy (Stephanie will KEEP you laughing, promise). But prepare your heart, mind and spirit to be drawn to the Lord... it’s just that powerful. And, you’ll probably read it again.. and again.. and again. :) Thanks Kim!

This book was such an enlightening good read. It called to remembrance all the things that we struggle and go through as Believers and that God always has an answer even if it’s not the one we are expecting. What I loved about the book was that it took me through a rollercoaster of emotions but never left me feeling like there was no answer to my feelings or that I was alone in my thoughts. It is filled with unexpected twists and turns and keeps you wanting to read more and more. On to the next!

I loved it! I love all Kim's books. I read the previous ones and all the characters continue in the next book and then she adds new characters with new stories. I love that Kim writes from a Black woman's perspective as a Christian woman. As I black woman I can relate but so can any other woman. However, it's a beautiful thing to see myself in the Christian fiction I read. Kim is a very rare gift. Good clean Christian fiction with real life stories and Biblical lessons. In this book, she introduced Alonzo and Cinda and weaved together a beautiful love story out of real life circumstances and tragedy. The characters are real and the way Christ moves in the lives of His people and new believers is real. I loved that Kim included how to study God's promises in this book. There's always a condition, something we have to do, "If" I Believe, then God will. I took my own bible study to a new level. Looking forward to the next book, all the old characters, and the news ones that are sure to come.

I love a book where I can become so involved in the characters that I feel I know them personally. This book pulled no punches. The relationships are like real life. Not fairytales and predictable outcomes, but as full of drama, hardships, hope and the endurance and love that is possible through the filter of God’s presence and guidance for those who care to choose Him. Looked forward to every spare moment I could read, and some just HAD to read when I needed to be doing something else :)

I don't know where to start with my review w/out giving the book away or repeating what other reviewers already said. So I will say this when things are challenging in your life or the life of a loved one just think about the mountains you can move, the clarity you could have and the peace of mind which surpasses all understanding if you believe. I thoroughly enjoyed book 2 of this series! I found myself crying , praying, smiling, talking to the characters.... You get lost in thier world. Treva's Bible study encouraged my soul! Kim Cash Tate - who are you? Who are you? As with any novel, I began reading this one for entertainment. You know, to temporarily enter another world. But, oh my goodness. I never expected to be blessed, to laugh, cry, and experience the Word of God like this. The storyline is exceptional. The writing is of course amazing. Read this book. Read this book more than once. The way Mrs. Tate incorporates religion, faith, spirituality and diversity in her work is nothing short of ingenious. I learned and I appreciated and I related. Was I entertained? Yes, I was!!!

This was more than a novel to read, this was actually a bible study life lesson. The issues of faith and trust and belief and loss and encouragement were so thought provoking that it was impossible to not be changed. It is truly an opportunity to learn, understand and live the promises of God. I am right after submitting this ordering the 3rd installment in the Promises of God series. Kim Cash Tate has a God-given gift of ministry. Read this series.

I enjoyed "If I Believe". I struggled to get into the book because it has so many characters but once I got into it, I could not put the book down. I enjoyed the different story lines in the book and how God's promises were fulfilled with Treva, Faith and Cinda. I also enjoyed the play on the Cinderella story with Cinda! This was a good and clean Christian story that I have no problem recommending! Bravo Ms Tate!

God gives us a condition to the promise, the He strengthens and helps us by the power of the Holy Spirit to meet the condition so He can fulfill the promise to us. We are set up for success always. Each new book by Kim Cash Tate replaces the previous book as my favorite! Mrs. Tate is an amazing storyteller and she weaves all of her stories together into a beautiful tapestry of love, grace, sin, forgiveness, friendship, and laughter all while keeping our eyes and hearts focused on Jesus and his unending love, grace, and mercy. I loved seeing those that I've seen in previous books but the newcomers were able to hold their own and all of the characters are so fully developed and relatable. I loved that this book continued the women gatherings but I must say I truly enjoyed how the male relationships were represented. From the first page, you'll be drawn in and expect to laugh, cry, brood, cheer, and turn pages faster than you normally would just to find out what's next. In the end, you will walk away knowing that God keeps all of His promises.

Another gem by Kim! She has an amazing way of interweaving some serious Bible study and Scriptural truth into fantastic stories, and If I Believe keeps the streak alive! Seriously, these women will make you wish you were right there with them in the Promises B&B digging into God's Word. If this is the first book you have read by Kim Cash Tate, you're missing out! :) Go back and pick up the others as well; you will be enriched. I cannot wait for the next book!

This is the author to follow and read her work. I am so captivated when I pick up any of her books. I feel like I am one of the family, at the dinner table with these characters. Kim Cash Tate...you always have me pondering about God's work and things just start speaking to me when I read any of your books. I LOVE your writings and If I Believe, is such a riveting story. Thank you for your passionate writing style and just how bold the story is told with a spiritual outlook in the regular lives of people (almost doesn't seem like fiction when I am reading it) in this story!

Perfect. Cinda's life is so relatable in so many ways. Please create a bible study based on the book. Or at least we want this to be a new Christian mini series. Definitely worth watching. If I Believe was such a wonderful story of hope and how faith will always prevail. I recommend this book to anyone who may feel that life has burdened them with doubts and they are in need of a little encouragement to get through. This book was easy to read and hard to put down. As always with Kim Cash Tate, this book is such a page turner. I love how she brings back the characters from previous novels but also introduces new. The book is full of real relationships, biblical truth, and inspiration to Love God more. This book has something for everyone from the teenage girl, to a momma like me, to my grandma, who also has already finished it and enjoyed it.

Well, this was a continuation of these characters lives, I must admit that I do see myself in some of them. The thing that has kept me reading is the truth of Gods word. The condition and the promise. In any season in life it would be great to remind oneself of the promises of God. And perhaps just jump into them!

I have only read my second book by this author and I was pleasantly blessed by this book. I have already begun recommending this book and I love the Insight of this author who has masterfully weaved The Word of God throughout this book! I was especially blessed by the promises discussed in the book through the characters Bible Study! Super excited about hearing this author speak at an upcoming book lovers' retreat!

This book was a joy to read! Though I appreciated the Word woven throughout, I am also glad that there were elements of drama and suspense. The characters and topics are real, not white-washed, fairy tale stuff. I would recommend this book to those looking for inspiration from real characters with real problems.

I truly enjoyed book 2. Although, the endings are somewhat predictable,the twists and turns keeps one reading. I love all the characters and them being real. I'm motivated to draw closer to God and believe. Love the details,especially Treva`s bible study. The love triangle between Faith, Reggie and Jesse was very special and made you felt for all of them. This book left me thinking about what I believe. Not only was this a good read, it was also a bible study. I found myself flipping over to my Bible App regularly while reading. Kim did it again. I love this story. I wasn’t crazy about what happened to Randall but it worked. The scriptures were right on point. Oh my gosh. This book was soooo good and amazing that I couldn’t stop reading. From the beginning to the end this book was great. It was a lot different from the other Christian books that I have read. This was so real and I love the way you applied the scriptures because they helped me and brought me to tears. KCT, there are no words right now that can describe the feelings you have started to stir in my heart and mind about believing. One of the lines I love in that movie Diary of a Mad Black Woman is towards the end when the minister asks the congregation "What will you believe God for"? This is my turning moment. Getting to know these characters through the 1st book (Though I Stumble) really makes you want to know how their lives unfold, Her stories for each are so relatable and makes you take a look at your own life, I would definitely recommend this book to a group like a book club as that is how I read it with a group of ladies great conversations to be had!

This is my second book by Kim Cash Tate. Finally a true African American CHRISTIAN fiction book. A lot of these books easily sway towards the worldly way people live. This book kept it real about real life mistakes and how these women and men rectified themselves all coming back to their relationship with God. I especially loved the bible studies, they really made me think. I will purchase more books from this Author.

If I Believe is another great book by Kim Cash Tate. I love that Kim writes from her perspective as an African American woman. I can't relate to that perspective, but I love that her message is for all women. Her characters come alive in a way t that you feel as if you are right there with them. The situations aren't always solved in a cookie cutter/fairy tale way & yet you feel the love for each other. Heartbreak, sadness, love, etc are all handled in ways so that you know that God is in control. I can't wait for the next book. I'm looking forward to catching up again with Treva & Lance, Stephanie & Lindell, Faith, Reggie, & Jesse, & more.

I was blown away by "Though I Stumble," but "If I Believe" has left me speechless. This book had me in worshipful tears in my bedroom at 2:00 a.m. hands outstretched to God, in thanksgiving mode. Amazing. It has ministered to me on so many levels. I highly recommend it. You will be blessed. Of that I have no doubt.

Each time I tried to put it down I was drawn back to it. I thought it had moments of ups and downs but inspiring verbs from the Bible applicable to each circumstance.

I am such a fan. I absolutely love how Kim Cash Tate intertwines scripture and friendships and love with all the characters. I'm always in awe of her incredible gift of writing. This book does remind us that happily ever after is possible with Christ Jesus. I hated for the book to end and I'll be waiting on pins and needles for the next masterpiece. Kudos!!!

It was great to catch up with the ladies in this second book of the series. There were some unexpected surprises that made me happy, sad and hopeful which I’m learning is the hallmark of a Kim Cash Tate book. Expect the Unexpected. It seems I read Kim Cash Tate's books when I need a reminder on God's love. This book did not disappoint. I felt like I was really part of the Bible study. I found myself journaling along side of the characters and recommitting myself to learn about God's promises.

This is my first time reading this wonderful, talented, anointed, gifted writer, I wanted to wait until I finished both books before I wrote a review what can I say about book 1, and 2, but amazing my emotions were all of the place I cried, laugh, rejoice, was upset, but most of all thankful for the promises of God. Wow, Treva resolutions, " I Will Believe" powerful, I wrote them down in my journal. Treva, had so much heartache and pain, but I love Lance, came into her life here she's was a Attorney, educated, money, saved, and fell in love with a Pastor, whom was once in prison, didn't finished high school, but he turned her world upsides down, just liked Cinda, character reminded me of Joseph in the bible when from the pit to the palaces, this is a MUST read book I truly hope there's a book 3, I would love to see how things turn around for Allison, and Tommy, and Stephanie, and Lindell , I hope she's get her baby and Faith and Reggie, get there's book or there big wedding, I'm happy the author didn't say the end so I'm hoping this become a series, the children's growing up together, it can go on and on. I just had to pause and write my review. Kim, you have done it again. You have a God-given talent, gift and anointing that that captivates your readers. I laughed, cried and anticipated the next step. I had to make myself stop reading it so I would not consume the whole book in a day. Once again Kim Tate has blessed me with her book If I Believe. I really enjoyed following the development of friendships and relationships of Faith, Treva, and the newest character Cinda. I thought her story line was a great twist on the familiar childhood story.

So I've read all of Kim Cash Tate's books and this is one of my favorites. I love how she blends drama, suspense, romance and spiritual edification in her books. I am already chanting "Book 3, Book 3, Book 3...we want more!!!" I read this in a weekend and I am eagerly awaiting the next one. This book of Kim Cash Tate had me praising God for all of the promises he has promised me and helped to remind me of my part in my Christian walk. I live how through the characters Mrs. Tate has ministered to me. Each situation can be turned into a that will preach moment. Though fictional this was a bible study in disguise. Loved it.

I haven't even read half of this book yet, but what I've read so far is AMAZING! Truly an inspiration and gives my heart nothing short of butterflies. This book was awesome! I was kind of upset when I realized that I had read the last page. The characters were well rounded. The storyline was easy to follow and entertaining. I found myself having trouble putting it down. This is the second book that I have read by Kim Cash Tate and I am looking forward to reading more of her work.

Omg Iove this series!! I just couldn't put it down! The lives of these characters are so real, and I know that faith and prayers are the only thing that can work in times of trouble. I took notes while reading this book, I know God was speaking to me!!

Don't wait, buy the book! This series should be made into a movie, seriously. I enjoy how this author puts you in the room of every scene. No lie, some scenes were a touch too long. However, I liked the character development. The man gotta love you, holes in your sock and all! LOL!

I felt like I was attending the bible studies and would have asked some of the same questions. The prayers were heart felt and real. This book kept it real. I've recommended it and look forward to reading the next one.

This book was very inspiring and it was good to catch up on characters from book 1, and be introduced to new ones. It moves a little slow sometimes, but worth the read.

I don't even know where to start. I've read all of Kim's other novels. So I'm kind of (ok, ok really)invested in the characters. This book brings back many old favorites and a few new ones. As usual Kim deals with real issues in ways that real people deal with them. I laughed. I cried. I got angry. I rejoiced. Heck, I even had Bible Study. And enjoyed every second of it. I love how she has several different story lines that could stand alone but are so beautifully intertwined with each other that you'd never want it any other way. The characters are so well developed with flaws and good parts and a few with some things that you wished they'd just stop doing. But you love them all in the end. This book explores and teaches so much about love. And speaking of, if you happen to be a brown girl reading this book, oh girl, you're going to love Cinda's story ( yes, Cinda like Cinderella). In If I Believe, Kim Cash Tate invites the reader into a Cinderella story that mirrors God's invitation to humanity: to believe that God can do anything. Through the interwoven stories presented, the reader can clearly see how God can call, change, and use ordinary people. The dialogue and characters are so authentic and complex that the reader feels compelled to pray- and cheer for them. It was lovely to see a male protagonist and overhear what goes down in men's small group meetings!

This was a good book although heavier than I had anticipated. I found it difficult to keep track of all the characters. I think there were just too many and then towards the end, even more were added. I found this confusing.

I am loving this series. It has given me confirmation in my walk.. Truly having faith in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ in my life, has changed me forever.

I give this book a five star because it was worth staying up to three in the morning to see what would happen next. I was strengthened in my belief. With faith and trust in God all things are possible...only. believe!!!

I hated to come to the end of this book. I laughed, I cried, and better still my desire for a closer relationship with God increased. We become so accustomed to seeing life lived on mediocre terms, when it should be lived in the full abundance of God. After reading this, if you are prompted to move a little closer to God, you need to check yourself.

I love how Kim uses her stories to bring you to the realization that these biblical principles apply to all of us. How wonderful it would be to have the support systems described in her books.

Great series! If I Believe is a powerful story of how God acts in the lives of those who believe and trust in Him. This book reminds us that even when our faith gets shaken He is still at work. The characters in the book are so real- I feel like I know them. I can’t wait to read book 3 in the series!

This book was written wonderfully. I feel as if I were reading and participating in a bible study as well! It’s a book everyone can enjoy.

I love how the story spinach character from book 1 continues and swoop in book 2. Seeing the progress of Lance and Treva, Faith and Reggie and Jesse is really inspiring. The characters are all so well rounded and are a great representation of Christians living a real-life in the real world. lsp the mention and reference of bible verses is helpful, realistic and applicable to everyone who 's going through something - big or small. This was a great read and I'm looking forward for Book 3.

I read 45 chapters in 2 days. I didn't want it to end and when it did I screamed NO!! This book was WELL written. I enjoy reading the characters love for God and how the story gives real life application (scriptures) for real life circumstances. I can't wait to see what the future holds for all these characters. This was an amazing read. It provided actual bible study lesson. That was clever, the way Mrs. Kim incorporated them into the book. This book came along exactly when I needed it to. God works in mysterious ways...even through casual reading. Thank God for this novel and the authors obedience in putting it on paper.

I totally enjoyed reading this book. The characters were so realistic. I was happy about the characters Faith and Reggie, I was pulling for them to get back together.

I love this author’s writing. It seems so real. I am fully into the story and characters. I really can feel the words! I feel like I am in church and in bible study. I had several tearful moments. Loved this one better than Book 1)!

Scripture use was very helpful in my life believing never felt better. It's like a breath of fresh air encouraging me to believe in the Lord at all times.

The book was amazing! There were certain parts that were predictable but so many that were unexpected. I love how you weave grace and mercy into the story. There were points that I had to highlight to come back to as well. I'm hoping to see more development of Jordan in the next book (hint...).

The Promises Of God books always seem to draw me in. I love how the author discusses real life situations (ups and downs) and wraps God in it all. Amen!

I am only a quarter of the way through this book, and I am loving it! It's so good, I battle between whether to keep reading, or savor it, and save some for later! I definitely recommend it.

This book along with others I’ve read from this author was great! Besides teaching some excellent biblical principles, it totally kept my attention and met my love for romance drama stories — and STILL KEPT IT CLEAN?! That’s awesome!

I loved reading the books in these series. I love the character the development and being able to meet and get to know the characters. These books are unlike other Christian novels that I have read. The Biblical teaching is so grounded and so real that it's like a Bible study with a novel. It is encouraging and empowering.

This is the second book I have read by this author. She is such a gifted writer and teacher. Her books moved me to tears.. Makes me dig deeper in the word! Love it!

This book was a good, long read. She built on the previous characters from, "If I Stumble," and described the them in such detail that I felt like I knew them personally. I also like the way she described the Bible studies. It made me feel like I was part of the group study. This book was very well written.
