Purchased for a baby shower to go with a handmade bib/burp cloth set that matched. This book baby is a classic. Every mama needs it for their baby. The size is larger, making it easy to grip and turn pages. She loved the fact it was a board book, durable and safe for baby. :)

I love this book and bought it as a gift for my new nephews library however the book that I bought as ‘new’ came damaged. I am giving 3 stars because the book is great but it was damaged. I’m returning.

This is the first book I purchased for my children many, many moons ago. Now I purchased this for my first grandbaby. I love that it is a board book. I ordered the bunny to go with it. Perfect, very pleased!

This was a gift for my 2 yr old, she watches all of the episodes and loves everything nutbear (that's what she calls it. Lol!) We read the books to her constantly.

It's just too big for a board book. It's hard for my 1 year old to handle it. It's just too big for small hands.

This is a lovely, large storybook which has been made very well. It is the 20th anniversary edition, hardback with a beautiful dust jacket. You can remove the dust jacket if you wish. The hardback is just as lovely without it. The illustrations are beautiful and colorful. I'm hoping my grandbaby will enjoy it for years to come!

This book is a classic and one that children never forget. I purchased this for my 26 yr. old son whom I had purchased a rope bracelet for at Christmas that said "I love you to the moon". when he opened the bracelet he made a comment that he wished he had this book, it was his favorite and when he has children he wants to read to them. He loved the surprise when I gave him this new book.

When I baby sat the children I watched loved for me to read this book to them.

This book never grows old. My kids are all grown up and are now reading it to their children. I must have bought 20 copies of this book, some to keep and others to give as gifts. Wish Amazon still sold the Dad and baby stuffed toys to go with the book, as it makes the story even better.

This is a very loving, sensitive, and wonderful book for babies thru young children. It explains the feelings of love, and unconditional love, and the amount of love you can feel and give. A great book for parents and children.

This was our favorite book to read to our children when they were little. This particular purchase was a gift for my baby great-nephew. We bought the hardcover copy so that it will last a long time. We still tell our grown children that we love them to the moon and back. This is by far my favorite children's book!

We love this book as a night time story and purchased this lap size board book for my nephew. I am sorry to say that I am pretty disappointed. The board is no stiffer than the smaller book so the pages really bow and I'm sure will get bent by a little kid playing with it on his own, which I intended to be half the fun (he's 13 months old). Also, the corner was damaged, had been dropped or thrown. I wish I would have just gotten the smaller board book like we have instead of this disappointment (harsh, yet true) and it's too late to reorder before Christmas :( ugh, the disappointment

I had to send my oldest son off to college this year. I wanted to find something to give him that would help bridge the past with the future and help me express how much I truly loved him and the person he has become. This book came to mind as it was one of his childhood favorites (and mine as a dad). I took some time to write him a heartfelt note in the front of the book which has a full size blank page. This book is larger than our original and is about 9" x 10" in size, so I was able to write a few lengthy paragraphs. For me, it was the perfect vessel to express myself and remind him of how much I do love him.

This book is a classic and the lap-sized board book makes it all the more special as a keep sake or birthday gift. The only thing to keep in mind is that because it is still a board book, it's pretty heavy for a wee little one. But I love it, because it will last even longer.

I wanted the Valentines Day edition, but it was all sold out so I cried. ;_;;;;; This is still a great book, but it focuses more on mother/father? (I think Father, since they say Big Brown Hare), and his young daughter trying to compete with each other to say how much they love each other. Note: The Valentine's Day edition is no different in text. It just has a red cover, with a heart shape cutout and the two bunnies hugging, although one seems to be the dad, the other the mom.
