Chains` Redemption: Infernal Sons MC #2

My reaction to Carol Dawn's initial Infernal Sons MC series offering was that it was a magnificent story in a promising new series. A refreshingly serious take on the typically cheesy MC romance. A shifted perspective focused on second chances at happiness, and overcoming trauma and abuse that had me falling hard for her first book, "Bear's Forever". As a result, I had high expectations for Dawn's premier follow up. And she definitely did not disappoint! Her sophomore book of the series, "Chain's Redemption", is yet another tale of inner strength, fighting for what you believe in, keeping family safe no matter the cost, and keeping your heart and mind open no matter how many times life batters and betrays them. Here we are presented with the story of Blake "Chains" Hunter, vice president of the Infernal Sons MC, and Arabella, a young woman running from a cult run by her father. A father determined to marry her off against her will in order to maintain the control and traditions he created within his "community", despite the fact that the man he chooses is an egregiously abusive, evil being. It is a situation that has Arabella fleeing for her life, and the life of her newborm daughter, after an unexpected intervention provides an opportunity to escape. An escape that unexpectedly leads her into the path of Chains, who after finding her and tiny Sophia Grace nearly frozen to death, vows to protect them both no matter the cost. Here, as with Bear and Rose in the first book, is a story of insta-love-at-first-sight. An insta-everything love that immediately thrusts Arabella under the possessive protection of Chains and the Infernal Son's. And as with Rose before her, Arabella instantly becomes part of a family unlike any she has ever known. A chosen family who fights fiercely for what they love a deem theirs. What follows is a well paced, action packed tale of pursuing evil, revenge, perserverance, and both physical and emotional healing. And overall it is another wonderful story from a promising new author. I was genuinely thrilled to see the literary growth present in this installment. Unlike the first, which was a little farfetched and choppy. This one is more grounded; the character development a bit more sophisticated and fluid. I still found a few places throughout where the writing was a bit ruffled and unclear. And the characters themselves are still on the more simplistic side. However, unlike others that simply coast, Dawn shows dedicated improvement in her writing, producing a beautiful story overall. One that had me laughing as much as it brought tears to my eyes, and an emotional lump to my throat. The love and tender, patient care Chains gives to Arabella is heartfelt and leaves you sighing. His devotion to Sophia Grace will melt you with its pure and soulful sweetness. Additionally, as with the first book, I truly, truly appreciate how different from the more stereotypical MC romances this book is. Choosing to focus on the love story as a whole, within the entire realm of Chain's and Arabella's world around them rather than presenting something dripping with sex scenes from start to finish as is most often seen within this subgenre. lt is most definitely worth the read, and another addition to my collection of books from authors I would read no matter what. I can't wait to see what Carol Dawn produces next :)

The writing is a little better than the first book but it's still not a convincing story. There isn't enough details to make it substantial. Also these guys are not bad a$$... they're kinda like pg bikers.... the conversations are sickeningly sweet all of the time. I love an on my seat read...sadly this isn't that kind of book. I don't even see it as an MC book...it's a lovey dovey story with a MC idea and bad guys sprinkled in but I wasn't really feeling it... this guys seem like too good to be true teddy bears and the woman seem like helpless children. The ending had me wanting to read the next book in the series but I think I'm getting my hopes up that it will turn into a thrilling read...it will probably be more of the overly adoring you hung the moon stuff that makes me roll my eyes. I feel like I'm reading a teen romance novel lol. I d don't think this is the author for me :(

Chains and Bella love story! This ALPHA has found his hearts. He knows immediately that Bella and Sophia are the ones that will complete him. Even though this story is short Miss Dawn does her due diligence to wrap these stories in a way that you don't have any questions but you always want more from her. This is the 2nd book in this series and with Hawk and Slim on the way I see that Miss Dawn had a wonderful future ahead of her. I will continue to invest in your works and supporting this AMAZING author.

This is the 2nd book in a series it can be read as a stand alone but you will really enjoy the development I have the characters if you read the 1st book 1st. I love that the hero is steadfast ,that makes mistakes I love that the heroine may do the wrong thing for the right reasons but no one But no one carries things too far as far has being imature I do not want to give away any spoilers but I highly recommend this book and its author.

This book has all the components of an exciting MC story. Bella and Chains story has crazy sex, tragedy, and love. Bella is running from her family and she is found by her past and then all hell breaks out when Chains discovers what happened. I highly recommend this book. I can't wait for the next story with the Infernal Sons.

This seriously had me from the second i picked it up. I just HAD to finish it without stopping. The whole family grips me and I love them all.

Yes I like both books 1 and 2. But I didn't like the tease regarding Slim. Please let me know when your 3rd book comes out about Slim.

I read Bear's story and while a bit unbelievable, I LOVED the beginning. Didn't fulfill that promise but, not so long a story that I gave up. Chains started out well but, went to s*** pretty quit. An innocent girl who had been RAPED, while growing up in a religious cult is saying s*** and whipping out her boob to breastfeed in front of a male stranger? I'd have an easier time believing that I'm going to wake up tomorrow in a spaceship (after being abducted by faceless aliens) and auctioned off to a triad of pus-filled toads who turn out to be my fated mates. I am a little ticked...I was looking forward to Chain's story. And, now, I see that Hawk's story is out. Hawk is, apparently, gay (which is totally fine...I could read that no problem). BUT, there are inferences that Hawk's love interest is trans (has a secret...the real him...and is afraid he won't be accepted. By an "alpha"...and a bad*ass MC...in Ohio. I'm gonna have to confer with muh toadies on that. Geez. A little too P.C. for me. DNF

The first book in the series is good, and so is this one! I was hoping I'd get to know the characters a little better and I was so happy I did and got to hear from them far more (though I have no idea how most of them look or even who a few of them are...)! There isn't any refresher on last books characters, so you really should read the first book to have some stable foundation (but you CAN just jump in if you want). -I have to admit I have such a soft spot for children and babies and when the infants life was possibly threatened, I almost shut the book, but the baby is never harmed and is okay through the whole book! The mother also was NOT in a previous relationship and was raped but it's always talked about in past tense and never in detail (thankfully). You should read about her dad's response, it's crazy!!! -I was so excited for the next book, but I was let down that its a male-homosexual romance and I won't be reading it (sort of gross, but I think Slim is sweet). I plan on reading Carol Dawn's future books and so hope the next one she writes is about Trigger!!! Please be about Trigger!!!

What an absolutely wonderful & engrossing story! Ms. Dawn does a fabulous job creating tough, dangerous Alpha bikers who have heart & soul, especially for those who have been harmed, are in danger or are broken & need a strong supporting shoulder. GAH!!! Who wouldn't LOVE these men (other than the villains)?? And I truly like her heroines, although they aren't female Ninjas, they have internal strength & fortitude that carries them through horrendous times. In this book I found my emotions raked through the coals, the things Bella survived in order to protect her precious newborn baby, how she rallied despite horrific physical trauma & terror her past would once again claim her or cause her protectors to loathe her. And how huge tough & strong biker 'Chains' melted when he came across Bella & her 'babygirl' & how intensely protective & possessive he felt towards both of them. This one will suck you in & not let go until the very end. There is love, hate, fear, terror, hope, strength & sacrifice. I was totally invested in, & intrigued by, not only Chains & Bella but all the MC Club brothers: every darn one of them determined to protect & defend Bella & her child. GAH, again!!! I loved this one & I highly recommend it for readers who want excellent writing, superb characters & a stimulating plot.

Everything just happens too fast in this book. We get glimpses into what could be a really awesome story with great humor and depth, but the author continually just scratches the surface. This makes most of the story predictable, but, then, out of nowhere, in the last pages of the unrealistic, instant love romance, a virgin victim of rape and domestic violence, embraces rough sex with BDSM overtones, from her newfound, seemingly dominant boyfriend. With the trauma experienced by this woman, rough sex with a dominant man is the last thing she would desire. The flow and timing were all wrong. The ending sneak peek into the next book in the series is bound to be rife with similar issues, if this book is any indicator. These are tough issues to tackle with believability and as a psychotherapist, I found the book highly unrealistic in dealing with this type of abuse and trauma.

*3.75 *Read via Kindle Unlimited Program Just like the first book, BEAR'S FOREVER, this book has the insta-love, somewhat a little bit cheesy romance going on with lots of witty banter and fun moments. No time jumps in this book but there were certainly things that happened that only works (and mostly present) in insta-love romances. (i.e. the execution of the story line was always cut to the chase) It worked just fine in the story though as the author has no qualms in admitting that this series, albeit an MC book, will be an insta-love romance that's overloaded woth sweetness. She didn't lie there. If that doesn't work for you, steer clear of this series. I have to say, I love the camaraderie of the brothers of the MC club. The author managed to built a solid foundation among the characters even if this is an insta-love romance. For me, that's a plus point since MC romance in my opinion is all about the brotherhood before the romance. She also has a way to make me feel attached to the characters especially the side characters. I can't wait for Slim and Hawk's story and the epilogue in this book has my stomach in knots for dread of what's about to happen.

I wasn’t expecting to like this as much as I did. I’ve been so picky about books lately and I’ve been finding myself skimming more and more or just not finishing at all. But this book held my interest and I didn’t stop reading until I was finished. I LOVED the brothers. Their interactions were hilarious. I especially loved Trigger and Ink and I so hope they get a book. I loved Chains dedication to Bella and Sophia. I loved that Bella never felt sorry for herself (even though it would be understandable if she did). I also loved how grateful she was to Chains family. SPOILERS.....my only complaint is that I wished she had recovered fully from her injuries. There was a great HEA, but the fact that she didn’t fully get her sight back was so tragic and unfair.

Bella is on the run with her newborn daughter, when she breaks down on a winter night. Chains a member of the Infernal Sons MC happens upon her and her baby girl, and gives her shelter. Chains immediately feels the boom, the connection, and he knows this is the girl for him. However, he can sense that she needs to be free, and to run from whatever is chasing her, so he lets her go. The last thing he wants is to make her feel trapped. Chains cannot get Bella or baby Sophia out of his mind. He knows his girls need him, even if they don't know it yet. Chains sets out to find his girls, and to make them his. My hat is off to this fabulous author. Carol Dawn knows exactly how to portray the ultimate alpha, but also an alpha that can show his love and devotion. Chains will always hold a place in this book lovers heart. Read Chains' Redemption, and fall in love with this series...you won't be sorry!

This was a great story. I couldn't put it down. Carol Dawn did a wonderful job on it. The story was very well written, the plot was strong, it was filled with many emotions. The characters were strong. Chains and Bella were perfect for each other. They were drawn to one another from the start. Their connection was strong and their chemistry was sexy and sweet. They were just great together. I enjoyed their story. Chains was very protective of the ones he loved, he'd do anything for them. I really enjoyed this story, it was great. I'm looking forward to reading more of this series. I'd recommend reading Chains' Redemption and Bear's Forever, both are great stories. Thank you, Carol Dawn. Wonderful work :)

what can one say about this book except ... INSTALOVE.... yep chains is a book about instalove and frustration and redemption and wishing thta when you find your instalove you hold onto it and never let it go .... this is a book with the FEEL GOOD VIBES all around when Chains finds Arabella and her baby ... His world becomes them.. then what they go thru to get her back and the club endures is an all around mess but as with all feel good things .. we have a HEA ...

In this book you get to know a Chains that you never met in the first book. Meeting Arabella changed his life. I love the ever-growing character development as the series goes on. It just shows a softer side to a biker man. Now, keep in mind that this book takes place in the winter, so their bikes aren't really used during this story, but everything else is in place. Once again, the Infernal Sons are ready to kick some ass! There are funny parts, sad parts, happy parts, and even some very serious parts to this story. It's a crazy twist of a woman(Arabella) being stricken blind and left to care for her newborn daughter, someone putting the Infernal Sons logo on illegal substances and selling them to try to get them blamed, and Chains falling more each day for Arabella and her sweet baby girl. It really is quite a story that you'll definitely not want to miss.

Bella doesn’t have a good past . When chains meets her he falls immediately for Bella and her daughter. He has to let her go, he can’t force her to stay. When he finds out about her past he finds her and her daughter and claims her as his. Chains shows Bella time and time agin that he loves her and will protect her and her daughter no matter what. I love this series. This book has made me laugh, cry, and shout. I am glad I found Carol Dawn Nd her Infernal Sons.

This story started out with a bang and kept at a constant blaze throughout the whole book. I absolutely love when a story draws you in from the first few pages. There was no slow start or an over abundance of details, it went straight for the action. Chains and Bella make a perfect couple. Both of their characters are loveable, strong and thoughtful. The secondary characters of the Infernal Sons MC are the best. I want to be adopted by this group. I really can't wait for the rest of the series. I read this book in one sitting and could not put it down.

This book! It was the perfect continuation from where we left off with Bear and Rose. Chains and Arabella are meant for each other. This book is fast paced, action packed, and had scenes that had me yelling and cry all at the same time. Carol Dawn does not fail to grip you from the very start of her story and drag you right through it. She makes you laugh and cry and just devour her pages. Another amazing book from an awesome upcoming author.

Wow! This series is just amazing. I loved Bear and now I am totally loving Chains! These men are something else! They are totally alpha, super protective and sweet as can be with their women. This is Chains and Arabella’s story. Arabella finds herself in a terrible situation and Chains is her savior. He helps her when she needs it, but she keeps running and finds herself in a really bad place. Chains is the man to help her find her way around the trouble. These characters are totally lovable and the story is extremely engaging. I absolutely love this series!!!! Fantastic books!!!

I really liked this book. It has a lot of roller coasters and while I won’t spoil it the MC’s life goes through an intense change. The chemistry between Bella and Blake(Chains) is great and strong. There is only 2 really steamy scenes when I wish there was more but overall I really like this book. I’m looking forward to the next book based on the little sneak peak at the end. I hope it comes out soon.

Chains is a man you dream of. He is loving, loyal, strong, supportive and a bad arse biker who goes the distance when needed. He is a hero with all the qualities you would want in your man. He found his soulmate in Bella. She is a fierce loving bad arse woman willing to do what it takes for those she loves which she proves over and over. This book is a realistic love story that renews your faith in love and HEA. Bonus is, as your riding along on Chain and Bella's story you'll get all kinds of juicy details about the rest of the Infernal Sons MC members and they are a hoot. Loved this book. Definitely recommend reading them in order starting with Bear's story, don't forget his bonus book 1.5 that was gifted to us right before Chains came out. Treat yourself and get all three. I did!

Each of the members of Infernal Sons had a special story I can't wait to read. Bear was beautiful and Chains story is just as amazing. Chains and Arabella are meant to be but she's running and he's denying his feelings until something happens and he can't it anymore. He is a typical alpha and I love it. There story is cute and can't wait until Slim's story now. Hurry!!!

I was lucky enough to be an arc reader for this amazing author. Chains and Arabella’s story hits every emotion. This story gives you hot love scenes, fast packed action and gut wrenching emotional moments, you find yourself falling more in love with the other characters and the epilogue leaves you dying for more. This is a cant miss series and I hope everyone picks it up.

She needs better editing but over all it was a good story. I hated her decision to end this sweet book with a horrible epilogue. Without that I would have given it a 3 1/2 rating but because of her choice I will no longer be reading her books. I get that she has a victim complex and needs a savior. She didn’t need to end the book in this way.

So Chains allows the Heroine to walk out the door in a snow storm after serving her pancakes, knowing she had a c-section and blood transfusion...., unbelievable ... I could not finish , this story reads like a outline and goes down hill quickly after the free preview. Glad this was a U.K. for me

Oh the feels in this book!!! These two are something else! Wanting to do what's right for the other person when it really isn't (working together is always best) and the consequences that come from it. I absolutely loved them together and how easily Chains picked up what was needed without any questions asked for Bella. It is impossible to not emphasize for her with all that she is going through and her emotions that she is trying to process through. You'll love reconnecting with all the guys you fell in love with in the first book. You grow to know everyone just that much more and I can't wait for more. This truly is a family that does what is needed for their family with such an unconditional love.

I loved how this book was about family. Not family you are born into but family that has your back at all times. I adored Chains. Possessive Protective. Loved Bella and Sophia right away. Bella got the shaft in the life lottery so it was incredible to see how selfless she became. No spoilers just go read and fall in love. I want a Chains if my own

Chain's rescues a stranded young woman with her infant baby daughter shortly after her release from the hospital. After she leaves, he tracks her down, finds her badly beatened and her daughter missing. What follows is an intense drama to recover the baby, put an end to her enemies and stop threats to the Club.

This story starts out with a bang. Bellas dad wants her to marry her rapist. WTF?! But Blake gets to be her savior of course. I love this MC. They really are the biggest family. So Blake or Chains or Hollywood or whatever you want to call him gets his happy ending. A beautiful woman and a daughter. Wonderful writing.

Omg each book get better and better!! This one had me at the prolog !!! Yes that’s how good this book is. The Author is absolutely amazing with her writing!! You honestly feel that your one of the characters and family members in the book as you go on this journey with them. I can’t wait till the next book comes out!!

Chain's was such a rough, dirty, loving, heartfelt story. Sophia and Bella had a hard road to their happily ever after. Chain's soft living gentle side was so heart warming. Chain's is pure sex on a stick. The man is what wet dreams are made of. He is every woman's drwam. He can be down and dirty in the bedroom, yet so sweet and loving. He is what every woman needs. Their story will make you cry and laugh, yet it is the perfect love story...

I have a somewhat hard time with this series so far. The men, being bikers, seem awfully whimpy. So far both books Star a man that falls for a woman at first sight. That woman goes with them, not knowing them, are protected by the MC and all live happily ever after. Very unrealistic and the men are not very manly in these series. I’ve read the first and second book and for the most part they are the same. Just a different biker and a different girl. Not much action. Hope author does better with the next one.

So glad I found this author! Her Infernal Sons series is delicious. The guys are sexy alphas that will melt your heart and panties 😉 Chain and Bella's story has a perfect ending. The story flows and is so interesting you can't stop reading it. If the occasional F-bomb and sex scene doesn't offend you, then this book is for you.

Wow! Carol Dawn gets even better with Chains and Bella's story. Bella is a strong woman without realizing it. Chains is a alpha male who isn't afraid to show his softer self to family. Do yourself a favor and settle down with this book for some me time. Can't wait for her next book and this just came out today!

So wonderful to see Slim's story start to deepen. So wonderful to see the alpha male characters' sensing Slim's vulnerability, and supporting and protecting him in the same way they do for the entire family. How we love is more important then who we love. These tough guys really value and respect Slim for who he is and how much he helps the club, he really is their little bro.

Good read. A few issues with spelling/word usage (stairs vs stares or bothers vs brothers). Dialogue was confusing in some parts as to which character was speaking. Overall good book and looking forward to the next in the series.

I loved this story, it drew me and so fast that I read the entire thing in one sitting! Well, I guess laundry will still be there LOL! A MUST READ! I did find several errors that weren’t caught by the proofreader.

My first time reading this author and I LOVED the story and genuine love Anabella found in the family of Infernal Sons MC especially touching was how much Blake (Chains) helped and loved her. 💕

Loved it!!!! oh so good! Chains rescues Bella and her newborn. Insta connection but he lets her go. Later he realizes it such a big mistake and goes to find her!! It has a little bit of on your seat OMG what is going on! Truly an amazing love story and you will have to read it!!! 5 Stars!!!

New to reading this author. Read Bears story and was hooked. Now reading about Chain and Bella and this series just got better. Strong alpha men and the ones they are born to protect.

This book was a good one in the series. The interaction between the brothers is awesome. They are always willing to protect them each other and have their backs the relationship between Chains and Bella is awesome.

Another great story by Carol Dawn. MC, Romance , Alpha males, loving brotherhood family and HEA. After each book I am looking forward for the next, impatiently.

I loved Chain and Bella. I agree that the premise of both book one and two are similar, but I still liked the story and will continue with book three.

I love this series! Amazing characters and an intriguing storyline! I love how the bikers are portrayed as big and scary but protective over their own. I am anticipating Trigger and Ink storylines!

I’m not usually a love a first sight fan, but this was a cute quick read, and the author did manage to create chemistry quickly.

This the story of Chains and Bella. I laughed, I cried, I wanted to be there to kick butt. This story is one of the best I have read this year. I have read Ms. Dawn's other 2 books and now she is a one click buy. You will love this amazing story.

I couldn't finish the book, got halfway through. These are bikers with female emotions. It could have been an okay story line but this so called MC in this story is a joke. Author clearly never been around a group of men interacting.

It was fast paced but I still would read it again. I am worried about the next book because it didn’t sound like something that would happen in a biker club but I guess the writer is going to take a chance.

Chain's Redemption sucked me in and didn't let me go!!!! Awesome follow up to Bear's Forever. If you haven't given Carol Dawn a chance, you really should. Great storytelling.

Oh Chains, I heart you so much!!! Carol Dawn's MC series is definitely focused on family. They are absolutely, positively all about being there for each other no matter what. These guys don't hide their emotions, whatsoever! When he rescues Bella and her baby from the cold, the connection is instant. He can tell she is in a bad spot and she confesses a little to him. He wants so badly to keep her and protect her. Too bad he cares so much about not making her feel trapped that he lets her go. When he finally breaks down about a week later and goes hunting for her, he brings his brothers. That is where the emotional rollercoaster starts and I couldn't put it down! The ending gives us a jolt, teasing us for the next book and it is a doozy, so fair warning. I am so in love with these guys, head over heels for them all and I need more asap!
