Do you like being pulled into a book?

You would never know that Jeffery M. Poole started writing Fantasy books before Mystery books! WOW! I am not sure where to even begin. When I read this author’s books I am pulled into them. I honestly feel like I am watching a movie. I can picture everything so vividly, it’s like reading a book with pictures! He has a unique way of describing a scene or a setting without droning on about it. Oh, and the characters? I feel like I know them personally. Their relationships are hilarious and always give me a hearty belly laugh! I especially love how you can really imagine Zack being pulled into an investigation. It is not a far fetched story like some can be. The story seamlessly will take Zack’s character and put him in a situation where he would be part of the investigation. Add the Corgis into story and hands down one of the funniest investigations yet! Again, the relationship with the Corgis is genuine. Zack knows his place when it comes to the Corgis looking for the clues.

Enjoyable summer reading

Boy did I find a pandemic treasure. Just finished all nine of the current books of the Corgi Case Files. Of course I loved the Corgis as a previous corgi mama. The main story line, once set up just drew me along since I was always interested in seeing what the the step was going to be. I lived in Phoenix for 10 years (currently in Tucson), I enjoyed the story with the Phoenix setting. I enjoyed the attention to detail given to Pomme Valley. Can't recommend for my teenagers because language is more pg13 than pg, although I know many parents would have no problem. Enjoyed the fact that money is not a problem so readers don't have to be reminded of the problems of everyday life. The love shown between the main characters and the care they show for ones in need means the story can flow along to a satisfying conclusion. I know that the values I have as a 75 year old woman are not fashionable but the books can still be enjoyed by someone like me. Have your next book on pre-order on Amazon Kindle.

Back to PV for another adventure!

Zack and the Corgis are back at it again. Following a trail of clues that only the corgis are certain will lead their humans to the answer...alas if only humans were smarter lol! If you love corgis and you love a great mystery that engages you with the folks who live in this little town you will love this next book in the series. While these books can be read as a stand alone once you read one they are like Potato chips - you can’t just eat one! So pick this one up and delve into the world of mystery, fun and intrigue...you won’t be sorry!

One of my favorite authors

Once more Zack and the gang, and of course the two corgis, get tangled up in something unexpected. But as always, the dogs are smarter than the humans and everything turns out ok. I have read everything Mr. Poole has written and I can't think of anything bad to say about any of them. One of my few favorite authors.

Another wonderful "tail"

Ok,so you did have a lot on your plate, you are forgiven, although I did think you had given up on your corgi fans! Your wife is right about giving us a few more books, thank her. You did it again, great mystery, lots of action and intrigue. I loved it, well done! 😄. More please. Mary

Great!!

I am an avid fan of Mr. Poole; he is a talented author. Everything he writes (whether it's fantasy or mystery) is fun and exciting, which is why I will read anything that he pens his name to. Case of the Dysfunctional Daredevils did not disappoint. I started reading this book yesterday, and was thrilled from the moment I began until the last word was read; it was fun, exciting and unpredictable. The only complaint I have is that now I have to wait until August for the release of CCF10.

Corgis rule

This series of books which star a Corgi in Chief are good to read. They relax a reader and it is interesting to see how really clever a Corgi can be. Of course, a Corgi rules my household so these books are among of my favorites.

Excellent read

Another excellent episode in the continuing(head said hopefully)crime spree in Pomme Valley. I can't get enough of these detectives. I have read them all and highly recommend the behavior.

Great Story

I started reading your books because of the Corgis. I also have two corgis like the character and you really have their character down. But I also like your writing style and I enjoy the plots of the story as well as the characters. It doesn't hurt that the Corgis are portrayed as very smart dogs. They are and in our household they probably have us trained as well as Zack's have him trained! And yes mine are a Pembroke Sable and a Pembroke Tricolor. I look forward very much to your next book!

Absolutely great

I liked the whole story. I have read every book and preordered the last one. The animals act like animals, just a little smarter than most. The peop!e are great friends which is what everyone needs at times. The story line is great.
