Boss Book Five

I liked the series to book four, but it has become far far too repetitive, and has some other serious issues. First of all, I never thought I would say this but, there are far too many sex scenes and too little plot development outside of sex. Certain plot aspects have been dragged out until they're just frustrating and no longer enjoyable, and are no longer enhancing or working for the overall story any longer. I mean I love a steamy romance novel but this has turned into just soft porn with unexplored plot devices tossed in in an effort to glue the sex scenes together. There is little to no effort expended on exploring the mystery part of it, only a repetitive topical mention which turns whiny and which at this point has been just dragged out without any real development to the point of ridiculousness. Secondly there is plot and factual problems with how intelligent and effective the main characters are. The author has portrayed the female and male leads as intelligent, savvy, ruthless, cunning, and highly strategic and successful individuals, and yet they can't seem to figure out who framed Hunt. In fact almost none of this plot is spent with them even trying to solve the mystery. That in itself is not too damaging except that the author does not write them even thinking about how to address it, and obvious opportunities to quickly explore the issue and make them look more intelligent are consistently bypassed. One such example is how no thought is given to Hunt's father being a suspect in the betrayal of Titan's past by either hunt or Titan (past a very initial and brief dismissal of the possibility when it initially happened). That is something that could/should have been addressed each and every time Hunt's father threatened him in the storyline, or at least especially after the crucial blackmail scene. There were so many missed plot options/opportunities: Hunt's supposedly extremely effective and excellent PI couldn't figure this out; Thorn couldn't have been a stronger character by trying to sort this out? Even more frustrating is the fact that the characters never really discussed or strategized how to address this major threat, with the exception of directly confronting the main suspect, which is pretty lame. Surely more plot development could be spent on them working together, or even working separately, to solve the greater mystery which poses significant risk to both of their businesses. The author didn't even think to have either of the main characters have their businesses or homes swept for listening devices or some other actions outside of constantly having sex. The the hole left by the author not writing in action to address the main plot device outside of their sexual activities has made her characters look incredibly stupid, and has contradicted her characterization of them being intelligent, successful, task oriented, highly capable, problem solving, savvy, and successful people. She is telling us what her characters are and showing us something different with how she writes their actions/behavior. Real top executives would never fail to on sorting out such an important threat. In the end the mystery, and the tension around it ends up adding a significant amount of frustration for the reader and detracting from how the characters are viewed rather than being an enjoyable or diverting plot device. Thirdly, there are the issues regarding the love triangle. Some reviewers have said they felt that Thorn is extremely self-centered, but I find the opposite to be true. He isn't self-centered -- he is direct and unapologetically honest, telling her what truth she needs to hear, not what she wants to hear, never pulling any punches to save her feelings, being honest for the greater good. However Hunt is an extremely selfish man, for example when Hunt finds out his father knows about his secret affair with Titan, he refuses to tell Titan that their secret is out because he's afraid she'd stop sleeping with him; so basically he's lying to her and putting her at greater risk because she doesn't know someone has blackmail material on her. It seems fairly clear Hunt's father should be considered a possible source of the leak. Even if he's not, the blackmail scheme was unforgivable, which really grates on my nerves because I know in future books Diesel's father is reconciled during the tragedy with Titan. Due to the stupidity of the characters as evidenced by Titans repeated mistakes falling into bed with Hunt, as well as they're complete inability to sort out who their shared enemy is -- illustrating a decided contradiction in plot facts by the author or laziness on her part-- the repetitive nature of the plot, I'm really losing interest in the series. I would like more plot time spent on the mystery regarding who outed Titan's past; I would like more of the story spent on the mystery than on just repeated sexual encounters.

I have completed reading all nine books in this series and I am so happy that I stayed with it. There are some beautiful relationships that need repairing and even though these characters are successful and wealthy, their humanity becomes very prominent. I have loved the characters and I have loved the issues that they have dealt with. I feel they truly represent the saying:Blood is thicker than water but you need both to survive.

What is up with Thorn he can clearly see Titan is in love with Hunt why would he try to make her hold up the pack about getting married . Thorn doesn't seem like that great of a friend he holds everything he did for her over her head. I would like to read a story where Thorn falls in love and doesn't get the girl cause he is a jerk.There are lots of sex scenes in this book I'm bored with now and skip them .

Another WINNER in the series! I am thrilled that Titan and Diesel are working yhings out. I am keeping an eye on Thorn! It really bothers me that he continually throws up to Titan EVERY thing that he has done for her in the past. He is being a selfish jerk and I can’t help but wonder if he is up to something senister. I can’t wait for the next book!

I'm so happy to know that Tatum and Diesel are still my favorite couple! I read this book as quickly as I did the others. I can't wait to find out what else is in store for these characters. Thank you V. Quinn for writing such an amazing series. I can't stop reading! March 6th can't come quickly enough!

I wanted more drama, more closer, and I wanted them to do other things than have sex all day. Thorn was so annoying; he seemed selfish and money-hungry to me. He kept throwing things in Titans face and was more worried about his happiness than hers. Titan got on my nerves too; Deisel deserved better. This book was just frustrating for me. This series is a money drainer and it’s dragged out; it should have only been four books, not nine.

Just wow! This book really got to me! It’s a hot one. I could not put it down. I think I almost cried when Hunt walked away. She really did not think that was coming. I am glad she FINALLY woke up. If you have not started this series....you are missing out! Ms Quinn, another outstanding job!

I can't stop reading this series. I'm reading each book, I'm on a bender. Great books and endearing characters, you will fall in love with.

Ok Diesel taking over is hot. But even hotter because Titan doesn't lose herself or her core values in the process. No matter what she stands up for what she thinks is right. And if she is wrong, soon enough she figures it out and owns up to it.

I liked this the best thus far. It was very touching and very real whe it comes to examining and explaining human relationships.

The truth will set you free. I am so speechless!!!! Why!!!!! The ending of this book was so good. Why????? Ugh!!!!! I need the next book. Everything is suppos to be soooo perfect

This series could have been wrapped up a couple of books ago saving me quite a bit of money! Shame on you Ms. Quinn!!!!

Better, but still to many books for one story! It should be cut to half of them. The story it is good!

Great series

I am thrilled at the way this turned out. I hope the other relationships can be mended

I have Kindle Unlimited and my mom is still able to purchase books accidentially for $7.62 along with $300 worth of book charges. I'm not happy with the Unlimited services and book purchases. Cancelling now!

Story has a nice flow and believable. The Sex scenes are redundant at times but love the story line. Thorn is manipulating.

I refuse to spent another dollar on these books. I do not care at this point who was behind the mess. I am done. It is not worth it anymore.

Finally a step in the closure direction. After the last book I needed some closure of some things. Well we get it here and about time.

Hunt and Titan are fighting against all odds to preserve when its coming at them from all sides. Titan is conflicted by so much lately. Accepting Thorn’s proposal in the wake of what appears to Hunt’s betrayal seemed to be the logical call - but her heart, brain, and gut are conflicted. Now Hunt and she are back where they started and she hates the regression. Hunt knows he can't give up in his fight for Titan. Winning back his woman is going to be a long arduous process, even more so now that the world believe her heart belongs to another. He is going to have to get her to trust him and pick him which is easier said than done. Especially with opposition and interference at every turn. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book.

I am so invested in these characters now...like I feel like I know who they are as if they were real people....Diesel has proven time and again that he will fight for his woman, I just wish Titan would get out of her own way sometimes...I am also not so sur about Thorn and his motives...he is constantly reminding her of everything he has done for her and then says all he wants I see her to be happy....I have a bad feeling he may be behind the scenes working against Diesel and Titan with Diesels father....even though Diesel and Titan have people coming at them from all sides they finally decide to try....and I hope they make it....they have to right....such an amazing series, I was hooked book 1 and now I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas morning for the next book !! Keep the amazing writing flowing, so excited for the next book !!!

Wow, I read this book in one setting. I could not put it down. I was hoping to find the answer to who spilled Titans story. Not yet. I am conflicted. The ending to this book gave exactly what I needed Titan and Diesel. It left fearful because Diesel is going to mess it up trying to get Titan and Thorn back to friends. That part makes me scared to read the next book, because the ending was so lovely. This was the best book of the series it kept me on pins and needles and my emotions were spinning that I had to keep on reading. These books are definitely erotic romance so make sure you like reading about that. However, if you like a story with Romance, and mystery this is definitely a pick for you! I am giving my honest review in exchange for an ARC.

OMG!!! Great, fantastic book in this series. I literally was at the edge of my seat reading this book. I also wanted to say that I may be wrong but there is something off about Thorne. I don't trust him. Finally, Tatum comes to her senses and realizes she cannot marry Thorne and her love for Diesel and his love for her is the most important thing. Because they belong together. There were such unexpected twists and turns in this book, especially Diesel's father, Vincent and the way Thorne is reacting. And even though, Diesel and Tatum are together we still don't now who betrayed her. Still another cliffhanger!! I absolutely love this series and cannot wait for the next book. Anyone who is not reading this series, should be. It is that good. Mach 6th is the next book. I will be waiting on pins and needles.

I love this author and this story, but the wait between segments is excruciating. This part actually made me cry. These awesome characters are being put through hell with the cut-throat business deals, blackmail, revenge plots, complex personal relationships, and let's not forget the unknown individual that started this whole mess by leaking Titan's past. This is the half-way point of the story and already the triumphs and defeats are too numerous to count but make for an exciting read and you'll never guess what is going to happen next. I truly cannot wait to find out who is behind the trouble - Hunt's half brother (who was treated poorly by Hunt's dad), the designer (who wants Titan for himself), the businessman (who lost his company to Hunt and Titan), or some other person with a grudge against Titan or Hunt. Whole-heartedly recommend this great story. I received a copy from this engrossing author and I voluntarily left a review.

Words can't describe how much I am loving this series. I have to say that this segment really had me in tears. Poor Titan is conflicted by so much lately. Accepting Thorn's proposal knowing deep down that it's a bad idea. I wasn't Ok with her decisions. Hunt's betrayal is her major conflict logically I understand why she feel that way. But it's hard when her heart, brain, and gut are conflicted. There just so much angst and passion and undeniable love between Hunt and Titan, but also between her and Thorn. I was really heart broken with the outcome between Titan and Thorn. But I'm looking forward to seeing how everyone's journey going to turn out. Overall a fantastic read. Ach! I can not say enough how much I am LOVING this entire series. But, at least after reading Boss Alpha I can take a teeny tiny breather 😉. Which is good since book 6, Boss Romance, doesn't come out for a few days yet. This book does end on a cliffhanger, but, not as dramatic as Boss Woman. Which is why I downloaded Boss Alpha immediately after finishing Boss Woman. I simply could not wait. This entire series has everything I love about reading: it's a great escape, a fantastic love story, super steamy with a great mystery too. The characters are compelling and interesting. You do need to read it in order, but you'll be totally addicted to Tatum Titan & Deisel Hunt within the first chapter of Boss Lady.

OMG! Finally Tatum comes to her senses and believes Hunt! Thorn should eventually forgive Tatum thou! He knew that she was in love with Hunt and should've never proposed to her! I still think that Thorn was the one to leak that information on Tatum's ex even if it does have info to possibly charge Thorn for murder! But we shall see hopefully! I even think that Thorn had help from Vincent too with leaking the info to the news media! I wonder if Vincent and Diesel will eventually reconcile their differences! I know if Tatum has her way then they will! But this is another wonderful book that Victoria has written in this series! I always love when two people in love comes together!

Finally they have arrived Tatum and Diesel. Are now one. While remaining top dog status in their business. They never cave to anyone except to each other. They are both Boss's and taking turns who is the head in the bedroom makes even more impossible to be apart. There is no challenge they won't take together. I love this story

“Pick me, Titan. We’ll figure it out—together.” Things are still up in the air with Hunt and Titan. Thorn is in the middle and who knows what will happen. I actually dropped a few tears in this book. We are getting a little more depth from some of the characters and it broke my heart because at this point, readers are invested. There's still a little mystery that hasn't been answered and I'm not sure if it will be but my fingers are crossed. There was still a lot of back and worth but man! If there is a real Diesel Hunt out there I would take him in a heart beat! Hands down one of the best book boyfriends out there!

I can never put one of Victoria Quinn’s books down. Once I start, I’m all in. This is yet another one of her great series. I love how this story is happening. There is so much angst and passion and undeniable love. Love between Titan and Hunt, but also love between Titan and Thorn. I was really upset with the decisions Titan made. And I was overcome with sadness from the outcome between her and Thorn. And I felt some sympathy for Vincent Hunt. For his loss of his wife and son. I can not wait to see how everyone’s journey continues. And yes, this book has just as much heat as the previous ones. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy.

Since I’ve been reading these series I don’t trust Thorn and know what I’ve read in this book I think Thorn is up too no good. Tatum realizes she cannot marry Thorn and her love for Diesel is the most important thing. Her and Diesel belong together. Not to mention the twisted things Vincent had done to Diesel is own son. I think someone close to either Tatum or Diesel is wanting to hurt both of them, but I have my suspicions on who it might be. Still another cliffhanger at the end. I absolutely love this series and cannot wait for the next book!!

We are on the roller coaster ride of Titan and Hunt and I don't think we will be getting off anytime soon! I couldn't put this book down, read it in just 5 hours. Can't wait to find out what happens between Hunt and Vincent. Where has Jax been all this time and if Hunt and his dad reconcile how will he feel about it and Brett? Still the mystery of who is leaking to the media. Thorn, I do feel sorry for him but I've always had an uneasy feeling about him...what was his real agenda or was there one at all other than their "arrangement"? Thanks Victoria!

Arc review May contain spoilers Yeesss!! Jumping up and down!!! Catching up quickly, I never devoured a book so fast!! So many feels!! Still some questions!! I don’t want to bash Thorn but WTH man. Friendships like that you last a lifetime and all he cares about is him image, no not buying it, I said it before something’s brewing. Diesel is such a determined man, the things he sacrifices for love, swoon!! Some may say otherwise but this man would die for Tatum and to think he was walking away. Their happy every after is on the horizon but we all know how fate has a way of throwing obstacles in the way Cannot wait to read what happens next

Ok this is by far my favorite book in the series. The number of emotions I went through reading this book is a testament to how amazing the author is, because you really get to connect with the characters. I’m so happy they figured it out but I am still very curious to know who went to the press..I feel it will be the person we least expect, like Jax or even Brett in a crazy twist ( but I hope the latter is not the case because that will break Hunt). I can’t wait for the next book..I hope it still focuses a lot on Titan and Hunt not just Thorn.

Yes, another knock out by Victoria Quinn! This series is intoxicating, binge worthy and awe inspiring. Could I even love Hunt any more than i love him.... my heart broke on so many levels for him. But, finally, Tatum came to her senses and love conquers all. There's also something really "off" about Thorn and his reaction....... Also am I the only reader who has a soft spot for Vincent? I really do like his character. Hard exterior but hes only hurting for his son. This book right here, had me on edge, like wow. I may need antidepressants when the series is over.

More of what I needed. For them to get back even though she doesn't have the proof except for her hearts assurance reminds that sometimes our hearts know what best even better than our brains. I am sorry it hurt Thorn. I love him just as much as Hunt and Titan. I think the story of the 3 of them is a true love story inits own way and to show that sometimes you have to make the family you deserve.

Holy crap is this getting intense. Titan and Hunt need to separate their professional and personal lives as she is determined to marry Thorn. With the ring on her finger and their partnership ready to be resolved, Hunt still cannot let her go. But once again, the two cannot end their physical relationship and once Titan makes her final decision it is Thorn that is left out in the cold. Will Titan loose the only friend she has ever had? The emotions run high and the angst is on every page. I cannot wait for more of this series.

Wow another great book they are getting better and better. Titan and diesel are amazing together.. Thorn is a good person but wow he can be intense. I am so glad that Titan saw that diesel loves her and would do anything for her.. diesel is such an amazing man and so gooks to her..he is turning out to be amazing to her and I can’t wait to see what happens and if she is able to bring him and his father back together.. congratulations on another great book 📚...

This series is amazing. Full of passion and conflict. I know this is fiction, but Hunt... who wouldn’t love him? He’s the perfect mixture of alpha and romantic. He has made me cry and tear up more in this book then any book I can remember. Titan is the right blend of hard core business woman and hopeless romantic. They found love together, but it’s not enough for her. Hunt is challenged by his father, Thorn, and by things he can not control. He keeps his trust and love on her.

Titan is conflicted about marrying Thorn. She just can’t let go of Diesel and he’s not going to give up on her without a fight. I’m so happy they finally made their way back to each other! I loved how she stood up to his father! There’s still something about her friend Thorn that I’m not caring for. Lol. I can’t wait to see what happens next in their story!

Each book in this series just keeps getting better and better!! As usual I start this book one evening and read it right through until I finished early the next morning. You learn more about Hunt and Titan and also how their love increases. This book though left me with some questions, that hopefully will either be covered before the series ends or these characters will have their own story told. - Will Vincent Hunt and his son and stepson every become a family again? - Will Thorn ever forgive Titan Victoria Quinn really knows how to weave a story. I can wait for the next release.

What a tangled web weaved! As Diesel and Tatum take one step closer together something tugs them apart. My heart breaks for Tatum's relationship with Thorn. But love prevails! CAN'T wait to see what is in store for Thorn and I hope the readers see the beginning of a relationship between Diesel and his father...

There seems to be more and more problems toppling over Titan/Hunt's relationship that it breaks my heart for them, but it is never enough to break them!!! They keep defying all odds and keep turning to each other for strength, it just makes me so happy. Still, their success doe not come without pain and is there a lot of pain in this installment. Be prepared to get the feels so hard and break out the tissues.

And the series continues with Boss Alpha. The love triangle between Titan, Diesel and Thorn is alive and well in this book. And decisions have to be made. Will love win or will the sense of commitment and friendship win? But one thing is for sure, Victoria Quinn gives us some of the best sexy times in this book. I look forward to the next book to see how things develop. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

The first part of the story was a little slow for me but the build was amazing. It was so nice to see more of a storyline in this book. By the time I got to the ending I was sad it ended! I cannot wait to see how relationships develop between Titan/Hunt, Hunt/Hunt, and Titan/Thorn. I look forward to seeing how the series continues at this point I’m on the edge of my seat trying to guess what will happen next.

Each book keeps getting better and better!!! This series is a must read! The heartbreak Hunt and Titan go through in this book is heartbreaking. When Hunt finally had enough and left I almost cried because I could feel the raw emotion reading this book. The feud Hunt has with his father is equaling heart wrenching!!! I read these books in 1-2 every single time! I cant read or flip the pages fast enough. I cant wait to find out all the lose ends it has my mind racing...

I read this one in less than 24 hours! I couldn't put it down! I was so happy to see then fight for each other. I love Diesel's character, he is the best of everything, hot, sexy, supportive and loyal. He has never given up on Tatum and they truly deserve each other. I have always wondered about Thorn Vincent, and look forward to seeing how their characters develop in the next book. I am so glad that the series isn't yet. There is still so much story to tell!!

I felt like I was there at the very moment Tatum realized what she had to do. I hate Thorn got caught in the crossfire, but she had to follow her heart. Tatum and Thorn have to work through their issues, they obviously need each other. Same goes for Diesel and Vincent. I wonder how Jax and Brett will view this change of events. I’m still trying to figure out who leaked the info! Victoria is a mastermind at keeping secrets. Who doesn’t enjoy hot sex, a family feud, and a good mystery rolled in one. I’m usually bored after book 2, but I read these books on pins and needles since I can’t put them down. I’m eagerly waiting for the next one. Victoria, you’ve started something and I hope it never ends.

Finally Diesel and Titan are together. And I am eager to find out what happens next. Every happy ending to a series always lead to trouble in the next book. By the way I love Titan views on family and how she is trying to help build a relationship between Diesel and Vincent. I also really hope Thorne comes around in the next book. Because a friendship like Thorne and Titans is hard to come by.

This book... OMG! I thought the last book before this was roller coaster of emotions. I shed tears in this one. They are finally together! Tatum and Diesel’s love conquered all the obstacles. Undeniable! I was sad to see Thorn’s reaction. Think he was being somewhat selfish. I enjoyed the storyline between Diesel and Vincent coming in to play.I can't wait to read what’s next. OMG, I don’t know how much more I can take. I thought the last book was full of twist and turns, and boom here comes round two. So excited that Titan and Diesel have come around. I have to say I’m a little worried about Thorn, I don’t think he’s going to take this loss as well as he tries to pretend. Great Series, can’t wait for the next two to be released.

Ok..ok..ok..i am back to team Titan..she lived up to her name in this book..loved it!!!! So glad she took a chance..she followed her heart..i was also glad the reality of Diesel telling her off ...i felt his pain and had every right to feel what he felt... Now Thorn...what are w going to do about him..hes hurting but I feel selfish at the and time...time will tell and hopefully so will the next book... Give it to me Vicky I need my next fix pronto!!😢😭 Hurry!!!!!

Loved it. There were some things that surprised me for sure but I had a feeling that Hunts father was the one that had to have leaked the stuff about Titan. I feel bad for Thorn he lost his best friend but I have a feeling he will come around in the end. I am glad that Titan and Hunt are officially together now. I can't wait to see what the rest of the series brings.

I received an ARC for my honest review. So glad Titan finally came to her senses. I love her and Hunt together. I'm not sure what to think about Thorne. He is a mystery and I don't really trust him. Each book in this series pulls you in and keeps you invested in the characters. I feel like I know them and I'm hoping all works out in the end.

First, I can't put into words how much I am loving this series!! This is by far the best book of the series as of yet. I thought the last book was my favorite but I was wrong, theses just get better and better!! Fantastic job Victoria and can't wait for the next book!!

Well these two have put me without sleep again. I am talking about titan and hunt. I read this book in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down. They fight against all odds to make it and then Hunt gives up everything for Titan just to be betrayed by someone who is supposed to love him !! The series has me losing sleep in the best kind of way

Yay!! Diesel finally got the Queen. My heart is seriously not gonna make it to the end of this series.....Just when everything looks good, then Bam and the explosion starts happening. I will say that, this ending had my heart so much happier and calmer!' Can't wait for them next book, can't believe we're half way though the series.

I’m sooooo happy with how things are Turing out for Diesel and Titan! They deserve each other and need each other now more than ever. The fact that Titan is really choosing Diesel over anyone and anything because of how big her love is towards him amazes me to no end. I hope Thorn changes his mind and all the chaos turns around for the better!

Victoria Quinn you have done it again. This book was off the chain. Diesel and Titan are sooo wild together. You can feel their chemistry and passion through the pages. They found out the hard way Love concurs all. Thorn is being very selfish and only thinking of himself. Vincent was a big surprise. I love all the twist and turns in this story. If only we can find out who leaked the story to the press. I can't wait for the next book.

Is it March 6 yet? This book was amazing!! The chemistry between Tatum and Diesel is AMAZING! I couldn’t put the book down. I love Diesel! And I think Tatum is coming to her senses, but I was ready to shake her at times. I think Thorn is shady and he’s going to cause more trouble than he’s worth. Victoria did it again!!

I can’t get a enough of this series. So far every book leaves me with questions and wanting more! I can’t put it down. And, I can’t get over wanting to shack every one. Hunt needs to open his eyes, titan needs to just pick which guy and Throne needs to get over himself.

Read first two books, likeable story, that has been told many times over, but author spread this out over nine books to date at $6.99 a pop. Will not be continuing series, this story could easily have been told in three books, seems someone got greedy..

This book in the series had me filled with so much angst! I was angry at Diesel, them I was angry at Tatum. Next thing you know you’re crying and heartbroken right along with them! Tatum is afraid to take a leap and have faith in the love they share for each other.... and Diesel is tired of being the only one fighting for love, he must decide if it’s worth it anymore!

Simply the best! I’m thrilled Titan followed her heart, but dismayed at the way Thorn is acting... something fishy there. The Diesel/Vincent story is heartwarming and I hope they work it out. Can not wait to read next 2 books!,, Bravo Vic!
