Definitely 5 stars! I love Chaser and Mallory and this series! It’s a perfect blend of MC and Rocker romance. Now I need to go back and re-read the entire LOKI series while I wait for Wheels of Fire.

God I just love Mallory and Chaser. They really went through some challenges in this book but I loved their connection and their loyalty to each other. Beautifully written. Some of the material was so raw and honest I felt it to my bones. I need Wheels Of Fire now.

Autumn Jones Lake you did it again! As Chaser and Mallory's love story continues to grow, things and people just get in the way. We meet new characters in this book in the rock and roll world where they're tested. Mallory does a lot of growing in this book. She really toughens up and is not going to let anything come between her and her man. We get to see more of Stump, Chaser's dad and the President of the MC club. I enjoyed seeing this side of Stump. Ends in a cliffhanger but that's ok. Bring on Wheels Of Fire.

Loved the second book with Chaser and Mallory. Can't wait for the next book. Really like seeing a younger Stump. I think Chaser May be my second favorite biker,Rock is still my favorite Great read.

Another great series by my favorite author!! This book mixes sex, drugs and rock and roll, set in the late 80's. Story of a rock star and his starlet. If you love alpha males and the women they love...this ones for you. It does end in a cliffhanger...something I definitely did not see coming. Can't wait for the next one!! As always...Autumn you rock!! 💙

I LOVE Autumn Jones Lake. I got hooked on a different series, her Lost Kings MC series. I was honesty skeptical of this series because it’s a rock band in the 80s setting. I was born in the late 80s so I remember nothing from then. And I really liked the MC aspect. But I read the first book in this series and it changed my mind. Autumn is a brilliant writer, hands down! I can’t wait for the third book!

Everything is looking up, Mallory goes for a audition and gets a call back . Chaser and the band catch a gig opening for a major headlining band. With Chaser on the road Mallory has to deal with road rumours and gossip magazine stories. This is a great read, couldn't put it down and read in one sitting. quite a bit of funny thrown in...but THAT ENDING... can't wait for the next book.

Autumn Jones Lake is absolutely great at writing a story that leaves you wanting more. Being that this is the second book in the series, I knew we would have an epic middle, like a three layer cake. I go through all of her books so quickly because I can never put them down. Once this series comes as an audiobook, I'll be buying those as well.

What a rollercoaster ride! Autumn has done it again!! I can't get enough of Mallory and Chaser!! And, the new characters introduced, I could not stop laughing!! There was so much going on, I couldn't stop reading!! I can't wait for book 3!! Worth the wait!!

Blow My Fuse picked up exactly where Kickstart ended. I am so in love with Chaser and Mal and even love Stump. This book gave me all the feels as all her books do. Love is hard road and jealousy is bumpy trail that no one should go down. Jealousy only leads to trouble for all involved. I’m ready to read the conclusion of Chaser and Mallory. Great job AJL!!!!

Autumn has written another amazing story. The worlds of rock-n-roll and m.c. collide in an amazing love story. They have trials and troubles along the way but together they make it through them. Can't wait for the 3rd book to find out what happens next. Autumn's writing is amazing. You can easily imagine yourself their with the charcaters talking and laughing and feeling their pain and anger.

OMG!! Where to start...Autumn Jones Lake has absolutely done it again. This rock star/Hollywood actress/ MC all rolled into one is fantastic! This book has taken me back to my younger years with the rock scene. Mallory and Chase are the sweetest most genuine couple for both being in the spotlight. This is definitely a book you want to read!

Mallory and Chaser are definitely on a roller coaster ride . I love how Autumn weaves her stories so that you as the reader is drawn into her world ! Can't wait for the final book .. Got it on pre-order.. If you haven't read any of her books I highly recommend you try her books ☺☺☺

**4.5 Stars** Just when I thought I couldn't fall more in love with this series, Autumn Jones Lakes delivers one crazy, rocktastic story. Blow My Fuse feels like you are watching a VH1 Behind The Music documentary. You are basically in the front row watching Kickstart rise higher and higher towards fame. The entire novel just oozes with sex, drugs and rock and roll. Chaser and Mallory remain forever in love but it is Mallory who steals the show in Blow My Fuse. She really starts to come into her own. Is she still a bit naive? Yes but she knows when and how to deliver a snarky comment. She is sticking up for herself more and more. And yet, she is forever patient with Chaser and the band's shenanigans. Those four find themselves in all sorts of trouble. And I mean T-R-O-U-B-L-E. Blow My Fuse is so wildly entertaining. New characters are introduced including a few more Devil Demons and the super eccentric Andrew. It also ends on one mind blowing cliff hanger that had me yelling WTH and then proceeding to throw my Kindle across the room (in a total good way). I cannot wait for Wheels of Fire!

This book picks up right where Kickstart my Heart ended. We don't miss a beat in the two main characters love-story and we get to meet some more characters in their world. They grow together and there is less insecurity about who they are and how close they get. They aren't star-crossed. They are purpose driven and generally kind to each other. Because these characters are a well-established couple in the Lost Kings series, we know they have a HEA ending. It's really nice to see how they got there and how from the start, they support each other. Like the Lost King series, this story moves quickly and there's never a dull moment. I liked getting a look at Chaser's dad, Stump. He's an established character who is older and past his prime in the Lost Kings Series. In this he's on top of his game and a good father/father-in-law to Mallory. It's very enjoyable -- it's actually refreshing to see a couple secure in their relationship and in themselves, even when they aren't so secure in what's going on around them. It's also nice to see some things from the time of MTV's early days that we take for granted now. Things people in their early 20's don't really have to think about, like having change for a pay-phone. Not having a cell-phone, or GPS and having to read a map. Little things like paying attention when you drive- not only controlling the car, but knowing your way around and being able to use land-marks. Like Autumn Jones Lake' Lost King Series, this is a well written, well researched book that's a fun read.

Blow My Fuse is the 2nd installment in the Kickstart trilogy. Chaser and Mallory are trying to reach the top to fame, but at what cost are they willing to go? After all, with fame comes consequences and chaos. Surrounded by sex, drugs, and rock & roll tensions run high, literally, testing relationships and loyalties. Mallory has grown into a strong independent woman. She's come a long way from mafia princess or mafia prisoner, depending how you look at it. Chaser struggles to find balance between his band/rockstar duties, MC life, and his relationship with Mallory. Just when you think life for Mallory and Chaser can't get any more complicated...BOOM! Mind Blown. Autumn writes in such detail, and what I consider perfection, that while reading the story you're in the moment with the characters... like straight living, feeling and breathing it! things first ,Autumn just blew my mind and I Am Speechless right now. This is a cliffhanger so if your not interested in them just wait until the series is done because i can guarantee you that you are going to love Chaser and Mallory's story. I'm not going into decades you're going to be surprised just like the rest of us. This book has everything from suspense, chemistry and romance and several bands and throw in a little drugs and you have one hell of a book. This was fantastic and now I'm in limbo waiting for the next book lol.

Book Two in the Mallory and Chaser trilogy is just as amazing if not better than the first book. They go through a lot of ups and downs in this book. There is joy, celebration, heartbreak, despair, new relationships formed, old ones tested beyond their limits, happiness, bounds of hilarity, love and oh man is there love. I think my favorite thing about Mallory and Chaser is that through it all they do it together. They went through a lot of crazy and heart breaking things and they did it right next to each other. There were times when Mallory wanted to punch Chaser and walk away from him but she couldn't. Their love is serious couple goals. I don't want to say too much because spoilers for book one and this one but I absolutely loved these two and their journey. It isn't and easy one but I am so glad I found this world. I highly recommend this series even if this book ends on a massive cliff hanger. Pick it up you won't regret it.

One of many awesome things about our author is she keeps her books affordable and she doesn't make us wait forever for the next one. And what a great series this is ! Mallory and Chaser work to stay united and committed as a couple despite the complications in their lives. A new character is brought into the mix. Andrew. I'm looking forward to discussing Andrew with other readers of this series because he's fascinating to me. He brings a lot of animation, comedy, problems and undertones that keep me suspicious of him. I know all of Autumn Jones Lake's fans are already knee deep into this series but the rest of you ought to jump in and enjoy it too. She never lets us down.

So so good. I couldn’t put this second installment of Chaser and Mallory down. Finished in a single day. Chaser is the perfect alpha hero. He may be MC bred and upcoming rock star royalty, but every woman wishes she had him in her corner. Mallory is a sweetheart but she grows in her toughness in this book. And the rock stars! Oh Andrew! What an ending?!? Autumn Jones Lake is the queen of the good cliffhanger!! I truly did not see that ending coming. Blow My Fuse is the second book in the Kickstart Trilogy (Hollywood Demons) starring Mallory and Chaser. This book starts off from where Kickstart My Heart ends, and in the words of Andrew “it’s just RAD”! This book is full of ups and downs, physical and personal. I just loved it from cover to cover. Chaser is still as protective of Mallory as he was in Kickstart My Heart (if not more). However he ends up making some life changing choices and finds himself needing some tough love to pull him back from the ledge. Many times I found myself saying “Come on, Chaser! Don’t do that!” with many facepalms. I just love Mallory! She is just an amazingly created character. She proves her love and loyalty to Chaser over and over throughout his book, whether it is in their personal or professional lives. FIVE STARS & Two Big Thumbs up. I highly recommend you read Kickstart My Heart book one in the trilogy first to get the full story. It will help with context and understanding of characters. I can’t wait for part three,Wheels of Fire, to be released. #July2020

This was an awesome book that was continuing into the lives of Chaser and Mallory who are a couple, as well as the happenings in the lives of the band members, them finally being recognized for how good they are and touring with some big name bands. It was interesting how the author went in-depth with addictions to hard core drugs and alcohol as so many bands deal with. It was interesting when Chaser finally realized he had a problem and he needed help so he took Mallory home to New York to his father's MC Club for that help and it was fun to watch his girlfriend stand up to his dad! I loved this book and have already pre-ordered the next one in the 3 book trilogy. Her books are worth the read, this was a super interesting book so definitely take a chance on this author and purchase her books especially the Trilogy that this book is in, you won't be disappointed!

Autumn always knows what to write to keep us coming back for more! Mallory and Chaser are absolute relationship goals!

This second book in the Kickstart Trilogy once again reinforces my belief that this author can write any genre and be successful at it. Blow My Fuse seamlessly continues on where the first book ended, and it manages to combine three of my favorite things (bikers, rockers and mafia) into a mind-blowing, exciting adventure of epic proportions, as the band (and Mallory) become wildly successful and have to deal with major drama and danger. I hated a few characters so much and loved a couple even more, but ultimately they all have demons to slay before life will resemble anything close to "normal". This one ends on quite the cliffhanger as well (OMG!) but I trust we will get a wonderful and satisfying conclusion in the third book. Bravo! ***** 5 ***** "blow my mind with your power" stars

OMG! The cliff hanger is a complete plot twist! Didn’t see that coming! I really, really like Chaser and Mallory! Two well written, multi-layered characters I loved routing for! Unlike most rock star romances, where insecurities are the plot, the faith and trust Mallory and Chaser have in each other is strong. I found that incredibly refreshing. This gave the author lots of room for unpredictable outside factors to inspire twisty plots. And boy did she use them!! There were so many layers to this story you couldn’t predict which way the story would play out. In this book Chaser and Mallory display some changes in their characters as they grow and evolve. Sometimes for the good and sometimes not. I have to admit, Chaser did disappoint me in parts of this story. I was happy he was able to pull it together, although I was on edge the rest of the book worried he would fall back into the troublesome pattern. I loved the mc tie in and Chasers supportive family. Mallory’s career starts to take off and we get to see her confidence grow. She either doesn’t have a petty bone in her body or has the patience of a saint! Regardless how catty Pamela gets, or other situations irk Mallory, she bites her tongue and rides the wave. I was so excited to see her start to stand up for herself more and more as the book progressed. She’s actually got a snarky wit. Go girl! This book as multiple supporting characters. Some were fun, kind, sweet, and others, downright deplorable! I understand Jacob’s insecurities lead him to behave and make the decisions that he does, but I seriously want to throat punch him. How much is Chaser going to put up with before enough is enough? UGH!! And Andrew, holy blazes!!! This guy drove me nuts, but in the end he was able to do some good things that made him tolerable. This story hooked me in, tossed me around, giving me quite the ride!!! Another great addition to the series I highly recommend reading! I can't wait for part three! I read an ARC of this book. My fair and honest review is voluntary.

Blow My Fuse is the second title in the Kickstart Trilogy featuring Mallory and Chaser. Chaser’s heart is in the right place, he’s protective but struggles to keep all the balls he’s juggling in the air. He makes some questionable choices, against his own better judgement that left me wanting to smack some sense into him. Mallory proves just how deep her strength, loyalty and resilience goes, with the ups and downs they face in both their personal and professional lives. I’m sure it’s just the tip of the iceberg with how this instalment concluded. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Autumn Jones Lake is the queen of a cliff-hanger ending. If you don’t like a cliff-hanger, I would suggest waiting for the final title in the Kickstart Trilogy before starting Chaser and Mallory’s story.

There was a time when I was reading this book when it felt like my heart was broken and it took quite a while to find the pieces to put it back together. This book is exciting and sad and funny as hell! All I can say is, wait until you meet Andrew. You won't be able to forget him, believe me!! He is so messed up, and the best part is that he knows it! Mallory has this frenemy that reminds me so much of someone I knew, and to actually "hear" Mallory's thoughts while Pamela is being her wonderful charming self is hilarious!! I never thought there would be another couple that I love as much as Rock and Hope (Lost King series), but Mallory and Chaser are really awesome together and I just want to keep finding out things about them! I totally got lost in the story and I HIGHLY recommend this book! Just make sure you've read Kickstart My Heart first. I cannot wait for Wheels Of Fire!! Enjoy!!

Been waiting for the second book since finishing the first and just over halfway through and have not been disappointed yet!! Been trying to write reviews as I go, but I have been so riveted by the story that I haven't been able to put it down. Only reason I did was from crashing out last night. This book picks up right where we left off and boy the author has not held back. I can't actually give the book much of a review as the main "issue" within this book is too much of a spoiler to talk about here. Let's just say that the pages are full to bursting of sex, drugs & rock and roll sprinkled with leather g strings *shudders*. The subjects within the book are hard to read but real and honest. Finally finished this amazing book and honestly I can't add anything as don't want to ruin the story for anyone but I did NOT see that coming!!!! Definitely a must read after book 1.

*audio version* Even though Kickstart My Heart didn't have a cliffhanger ending, I was anxious for Blow My Fuse to release so I could see what else was in store for Chaser and Mallory. It was a great second installment, showing the couple overcoming hurdles together and growing stronger for harder times around the corner. I'm getting to know the side characters better, especially the troublemakers like Andrew and Jacob. I know more is in store for this couple, especially with that bombshell cliffhanger. Thankfully, Mallory and Chaser gave me all of the steam I've come to expect from this author, with an entertaining story to back it up. I'm looking forward to seeing how this trilogy finishes out, though I hope it won't be the last we see of this duo. Audio review Same narrators as book one, which I appreciated. Another good job.

Oh Autumn, what you do to my poor little reading heart. Really? REALLY? Blow my Fuse is book two in the Kickstart Trilogy, and it ends with a punch. I sort of hate reviewing these books because I don't want to give anything away, but I want to tell you how awesome it is! If you haven't read Kickstart, you will need to do that first; otherwise, you will be lost. If you have already read Kickstart, then get ready for more 80s, more rockstar, more amazing writing we love, and of course, more of Autumns plot twists! I cannot wait for the third and final installment! I need the Chaser and Mallory HEA so bad!

Blow my Fuse is the second book in the Hollywood Demons series and it doesn't disappoint it's a wild ride from beginning to end. It picks up where Kickstart my Heart left off and we see where Mallory and Chaser go from there. I really enjoyed the growth from both Mallory and Chaser in this book Mallory gets a step closer (maybe a few steps closer) to being the Old Lady we know from the LOKI books. I really loved seeing her not take crap from people but still staying true to herself in the process. Blow my Fuse had my heart racing as I was reading seeing where Mallory and Chaser were going to end up and what they had to through to get there. No spoilers but that ending will have you begging for book 3 I know I am. I could go on all day singing this books praises. If you havent read Kickstart do it then read this you wont be disappointed. I cant wait for book 3 and any other books Autumn gifts us with from this universe

This is the second book of this series and it does not disappoint at all! This book follows Chaser and Mallory as their relationship becomes more serious, as they realize that they are it for each other. It goes through situations with them that are severe enough to almost tear them apart, and the fight they have to give to stay with each other. Mallory really starts to come into her own in this book as well, and it’s fun to watch her develop her back bone. This is a fantastic read, and it shows more of Chaser’s Devil Demons family and how far they will go to help one another. It introduces new characters that you will love and think are absolutely insane at the same time. Warning it does end on a cliffhanger!

Normally I hate cliff hangers .. like REALLY hate them, mostly because I'm not ready to quit reading. TOTALLY the case with this book. However, she did it so well. I'm gonna have to give the author huge props for pulling it off with style. This book was intriguing, captivating, and so easy to get lost in. The story is full of ups and downs, little funny moments, and serious ones. I think the author did a great job of catching the 80's too. It wasn't filled with things that didn't exist, or sayings that are out of place. All in all a brilliant continuation of the first book. Chaser and Mallory make an awesome couple and I can't wait to see what the last book holds in store for us.

Chaser and Mallory’s story continues and as their story evolves and develops they find themselves in some unexpected predicaments. Well paced, sexy and fun read, there were some surprises and pop-ups by our favorite LOKI men which made this read even more entertaining. Then the cliffhanger that I never expected...oh snap!! 4.5 stars!

Autumn has done it again!!! Her books are sooo AMAZING!!!! I love the banter between the characters she does such a wonderful job its like your sitting right there along with them.. If you haven't read any of her books you are sooooo missing out!!! She NEVER disappoints and always makes you want to come back for more :)

Ok WOW can I say this blew me away...the story continues with Chaser and Mallory with more colourful characters added...definitely some highs and lows in this book that I had to stop and yell ffs a few times lol...the cliffhanger at the end was the loudest one though lol

I love this author, I waited with excited anticipation for Kickstart, then couldn't wait for this story, AJL has out done herself, I knew once I started I wouldn't be able to stop until I finished and what a cliffhanger she left us with, five stars was not enough.

A absolutely phenomenal journey to go on with Mallory and Chaser. This book picks up where the last one left off and boy.. was it a totally awesome ride. So much goes on in this story it definitelY kept me on my toes. And the ending... wow! Just wow! Autumn Jones Lake never ceases to amaze me.

I always love your books, but this one is a grand prize winner - EXCEPT - that mini-cliffy was just plain mean. Now we have to wait 2 months to find out exactly where your devious mind went. Autumn Jones Lake is on fire. Blow My Fusebthe the second book in this trilogy and I must say it keeps getting better and better. She leaves you sitting on the edge of your chair with book 2 and she's loving every minute of it. You'll enjoy each and every character but I have to admit I fell in love with Chaser and Mallory in book two. Can't wait to see how this ends in book 3.

I love this series! Chaser and Mallory are the most beautiful couple and fantastic individual characters. Great story that I couldn't put down. Love all of the other characters and their subplots also. Can't wait for the next book!

Autumn is a freaking genius, this had a quite brilliance about it. It's just a story of two people who love each other and are willing to fight for that love through the ugliness and difficulties that follow us through life. Mallory and Chaser have had to deal with a lot of ish just to be a couple, however, no lasting love is ever easy and despite the issues they have overcome, they will need to learn to dig deeper to fight the demons that chase theirs heals. Autumn perfectly captures the seductive destruction that is the Hollywood entertainment scene. It's a business that often only wants to destroy people at all cost for just a shot of stardom. Chaser, while having good intentions gets caught up and seduced by this culture and he begins to lose himself through addiction. This was my favorite part of the book and it was a realistic look at how quickly addiction can take someone down and the effects it has on a junkie's loved ones. It was raw and intense and I had tears in my eyes throughout this whole conflict. It also solidified Chaser and Mallory as a couple because when two people walk through the hell that is an addiction and make it out the other side. They have built so much trust and intimacy through this struggle that there isn't much that can tear them apart. Autumn is also the master of secondary characters! Ther are complex and well-rounded you can't help but fall in love with them. from Alvin to Tally and even Stump you instantly find a connection to these characters and hope that one day you will get in their heads to see what makes them tick including a HEA (hint, hint). I love the world that the author created and can't wait to see what else is in store of this 80s power couple ******Author provided a review copy*******

I loved this book, it picks up where Kickstart My Heart ends so we don't miss anything. Blow My Fuse has it all...sex, drugs a rock-and-roll. It also give us a look into what actresses siluc as Mallory endure with sleazy producers and others that try to take advantage of her. I wanted to kick Chasers butt...but I mean drugs are a big part of the rock-and-roll scene. I love Chaser...he is such a great protective boyfriend to Mallory. As far as side characters I love Alvin he is a good guy but I can't stand Jacob and Garrett isn't much better. I love Audrey and was so sad for her but I am glad shr found her a good guy. And then there is Andrew and Pammy...Pammy I don't really care for her, she's pretty jealous of Mallory...but Andrew he is wacko but you gotta love his annoying self. I can't wait for the next book to come out...way to leave us hanging Autumn.

Oh boy oh boy oh boy! Part two of this trilogy has me on the edge of my seat waiting for their next book. Even knowing Chaser and Mallory will get their HEA doesn’t take anything from their journey to get there. I was literally gasping, laughing and crying while devouring Blow My Fuse. This is the second book in their trilogy and it dives even deeper into everything. You see the struggles and tests these two lovebirds must endure while both trying to build careers. They’re tested over and over again and love prevails. Blow My Fuse was just what I had been waiting and hoping for after Kickstart My Heart. It did end in a cliffhanger but I didn’t even care because the book was so RAD

This book had everything I missed about the late 80s music scene, all wrapped up by one of my favorite authors. Chaser is on the rise in the music industry when he meets one of his favorite musicians, Andrew, who bears a striking similarity to 80s Tommy Lee, and his world goes from 30 to 60 overnight. Late nights and drugs quickly follow. Mallory loves Chaser and is willing to fight for her man, but how much can she take before it stands in the way of her blossoming career? Throw in the MC and the mafia and you have a recipe for a nonstop, crazy adventure that is all Chaser and Mallory.

The story continues...and what a story! The chemistry between Chaser and Mallory is off the charts. Blow my fuse blew my mind. From the minute I picked this book up I couldn't put it down. I absolutely loved it! This book starts where Kick start my heart ended and I was I so ready to join Chaser and Mallory as their journey continues. The ups and downs of life on the road, sex, drugs, rockin roll, and stardom are just a taste of what Chaser and Mallory' story gives up. These two are destined to be together. The ending holy crap July can't get here fast enough.

I love how Autumn Jones Lake writes! The dialogue between her characters is so real. Instead of fancy, flowery words, Chaser speaks the same language as my own personal lover. Because it is so real, I can feel the passion and the intensity of Chaser and Mallorys relationship. I love the innocent sweetness of Mallory. Her character, again, is so real to me and reminds me of my beautiful BFF from high school. AJL writing is so articulate and authentic that I become fully immersed into her world. It’s a believable world with many interesting side characters! Definitely five stars for this reader!

Such a great continuation of Chaser and Mallory’s story. Once I started it I couldn’t stop. we get to see Mal display her backbone in some trying times, Chaser show some softness for more than just Mal, all while getting the play by play of how Kickstart is working it’s way into the spotlight. Love it and can’t wait for more!!

This book 2 of the trilogy kept my interest and could not stop reading until I finished it. Warning: this one ends in a cliffhanger! Chase expresses his biker protective genes in this story. I fell for his charm, bada$$ery, and protective nature, even his fallibility. This author truly knows how to write alpha males that will make you crave wanting to read more. I was as less impressed with the one note Mallory, hopefully, she will blossom into a full blown personality in book 3. There were only a handful of times that she was not a wimp. Enjoy this series. I have enjoyed both books 1&2.

This trilogy is as good or maybe a little better than LOKI !!! I can't put it down. I have to read what happens next. I love Chaser, Mallory and Alvin. Don't know much about Garret, Jacob is an ass and I just feel so sorry for Andrew. I think he's desperately lonely and hurt. Even though he is obnoxiously annoying, you can't help laughing at his antics and loving him. Chaser will never loose the biker in him (thank goodness) he is a good man. I can't wait to read the next book but I hate it will be the end

Oh my goodness, this author did it again. The second book of the trilogy expands more on Chaser and Mallory’s story and picking up right where the first book left off. This story kept me on the edge of my seat with plenty of twists and turns along the way. They both grow so much as individuals and a couple from the beginning. I can’t wait for the conclusion of this mind-blowing trilogy!!

**4.5 Stars** Just when I thought I couldn't fall more in love with this series, Autumn Jones Lakes delivers one crazy, rocktastic story. Blow My Fuse feels like you are watching a VH1 Behind The Music documentary. You are basically in the front row watching Kickstart rise higher and higher towards fame. The entire novel just oozes with sex, drugs and rock and roll. Chaser and Mallory remain forever in love but it is Mallory who steals the show in Blow My Fuse. She really starts to come into her own. Is she still a bit naive? Yes but she knows when and how to deliver a snarky comment. She is sticking up for herself more and more. And yet, she is forever patient with Chaser and the band's shenanigans. Those four find themselves in all sorts of trouble. And I mean T-R-O-U-B-L-E. Blow My Fuse is so wildly entertaining. New characters are introduced including a few more Devil Demons and the super eccentric Andrew. It also ends on one mind blowing cliff hanger that had me yelling WTH and then proceeding to throw my Kindle across the room (in a total good way). I cannot wait for Wheels of Fire!

This book picks up right where Kickstart my Heart ended. We don't miss a beat in the two main characters love-story and we get to meet some more characters in their world. They grow together and there is less insecurity about who they are and how close they get. They aren't star-crossed. They are purpose driven and generally kind to each other. Because these characters are a well-established couple in the Lost Kings series, we know they have a HEA ending. It's really nice to see how they got there and how from the start, they support each other. Like the Lost King series, this story moves quickly and there's never a dull moment. I liked getting a look at Chaser's dad, Stump. He's an established character who is older and past his prime in the Lost Kings Series. In this he's on top of his game and a good father/father-in-law to Mallory. It's very enjoyable -- it's actually refreshing to see a couple secure in their relationship and in themselves, even when they aren't so secure in what's going on around them. It's also nice to see some things from the time of MTV's early days that we take for granted now. Things people in their early 20's don't really have to think about, like having change for a pay-phone. Not having a cell-phone, or GPS and having to read a map. Little things like paying attention when you drive- not only controlling the car, but knowing your way around and being able to use land-marks. Like Autumn Jones Lake' Lost King Series, this is a well written, well researched book that's a fun read.

Blow My Fuse is the 2nd installment in the Kickstart trilogy. Chaser and Mallory are trying to reach the top to fame, but at what cost are they willing to go? After all, with fame comes consequences and chaos. Surrounded by sex, drugs, and rock & roll tensions run high, literally, testing relationships and loyalties. Mallory has grown into a strong independent woman. She's come a long way from mafia princess or mafia prisoner, depending how you look at it. Chaser struggles to find balance between his band/rockstar duties, MC life, and his relationship with Mallory. Just when you think life for Mallory and Chaser can't get any more complicated...BOOM! Mind Blown. Autumn writes in such detail, and what I consider perfection, that while reading the story you're in the moment with the characters... like straight living, feeling and breathing it! things first ,Autumn just blew my mind and I Am Speechless right now. This is a cliffhanger so if your not interested in them just wait until the series is done because i can guarantee you that you are going to love Chaser and Mallory's story. I'm not going into decades you're going to be surprised just like the rest of us. This book has everything from suspense, chemistry and romance and several bands and throw in a little drugs and you have one hell of a book. This was fantastic and now I'm in limbo waiting for the next book lol.

Book Two in the Mallory and Chaser trilogy is just as amazing if not better than the first book. They go through a lot of ups and downs in this book. There is joy, celebration, heartbreak, despair, new relationships formed, old ones tested beyond their limits, happiness, bounds of hilarity, love and oh man is there love. I think my favorite thing about Mallory and Chaser is that through it all they do it together. They went through a lot of crazy and heart breaking things and they did it right next to each other. There were times when Mallory wanted to punch Chaser and walk away from him but she couldn't. Their love is serious couple goals. I don't want to say too much because spoilers for book one and this one but I absolutely loved these two and their journey. It isn't and easy one but I am so glad I found this world. I highly recommend this series even if this book ends on a massive cliff hanger. Pick it up you won't regret it.

One of many awesome things about our author is she keeps her books affordable and she doesn't make us wait forever for the next one. And what a great series this is ! Mallory and Chaser work to stay united and committed as a couple despite the complications in their lives. A new character is brought into the mix. Andrew. I'm looking forward to discussing Andrew with other readers of this series because he's fascinating to me. He brings a lot of animation, comedy, problems and undertones that keep me suspicious of him. I know all of Autumn Jones Lake's fans are already knee deep into this series but the rest of you ought to jump in and enjoy it too. She never lets us down.

So so good. I couldn’t put this second installment of Chaser and Mallory down. Finished in a single day. Chaser is the perfect alpha hero. He may be MC bred and upcoming rock star royalty, but every woman wishes she had him in her corner. Mallory is a sweetheart but she grows in her toughness in this book. And the rock stars! Oh Andrew! Can’t wait for the next book, Wheels of Fire. There’s so much in each of Autumn’s books, you can reread and reread and get some new insight each time. Great stories. Great plots and twists. Super characters.

What an ending?!? Autumn Jones Lake is the queen of the good cliffhanger!! I truly did not see that ending coming. Blow My Fuse is the second book in the Kickstart Trilogy (Hollywood Demons) starring Mallory and Chaser. This book starts off from where Kickstart My Heart ends, and in the words of Andrew “it’s just RAD”! This book is full of ups and downs, physical and personal. I just loved it from cover to cover. Chaser is still as protective of Mallory as he was in Kickstart My Heart (if not more). However he ends up making some life changing choices and finds himself needing some tough love to pull him back from the ledge. Many times I found myself saying “Come on, Chaser! Don’t do that!” with many facepalms. I just love Mallory! She is just an amazingly created character. She proves her love and loyalty to Chaser over and over throughout his book, whether it is in their personal or professional lives. FIVE STARS & Two Big Thumbs up. I highly recommend you read Kickstart My Heart book one in the trilogy first to get the full story. It will help with context and understanding of characters. I can’t wait for part three,Wheels of Fire, to be released. #July2020

This was an awesome book that was continuing into the lives of Chaser and Mallory who are a couple, as well as the happenings in the lives of the band members, them finally being recognized for how good they are and touring with some big name bands. It was interesting how the author went in-depth with addictions to hard core drugs and alcohol as so many bands deal with. It was interesting when Chaser finally realized he had a problem and he needed help so he took Mallory home to New York to his father's MC Club for that help and it was fun to watch his girlfriend stand up to his dad! I loved this book and have already pre-ordered the next one in the 3 book trilogy. Her books are worth the read, this was a super interesting book so definitely take a chance on this author and purchase her books especially the Trilogy that this book is in, you won't be disappointed!

I give it 5 stars I give it more if I could but hit the wrong star. I have cried and laughed now I'm shocked I just finished the end. I I love Andrew but he could be a headache and Jacob I likes to slap him. I loved everything in the book, but I hate it when chaser was on drugs. I like that he could go home and get help from his dad. Can't wait for the last book.

Chaser the rockstar son of an MC president and Mallory the actress daughter of a Mafia Don are both pursuing their stardom dreams. Once again Autumn has written a love story which sucks you in and doesn’t’ let you go. Their story started in Kickstart my Heart but Blow My Fuse took it up off the charts.

This book had me at page 1! The characters are more fleshed out and we know more about them and why they are the way they are. A few more characters introduced and the exact right time. The love story itself is enough to keep me hooked, the other side stories are icing on the cake! I can not wait for the 3rd and final chapter for these two! Autumn never fails to keep me totally engrossed! I started with Slow Burn and was caught up by the time More Than Miles was released and have been a true fan ever since!

I got my paperback yesterday, and I swear the covers look even more amazing in person! This book, mind blown!! Loved it! Chaser and Mallory's strength as a couple in this book and their absolute trust in each other is beautiful to read. Through their ups and downs, they stand by each other no matter what. They not only grow as a couple but individually as well, and that's one of the things that keeps me coming back to Autumn's books because the characters develop over the series, not just act the same in every book. We get introduced to some new characters in this book and I love Andrew! He's both annoying and loveable to me. I loved getting to see more of Stump, and how he interacts with Mallory. That cliffhanger?! Holy crap I can't wait until Wheels of Fire comes out!

Chaser and Mallory grew so much in this book. With Chaser's drug addiction, Mallory's acting career growing, then the Rick video awards and Kickstarts tour this book had excitment, fun and the craziness of the rock and roll life. I have enjoyed everyone of Autumn's books and have not been disappointed once. She is a great author. I can not wait till the next book in this trilogy is released.

You know when you start to read a romance novel or the sample and its a plot that you've read dozens of times? Well books by AJL are NEVER that! Blow My Fuse is sexy, fun and fresh on all counts. The characters are new, 80’s era is fun, the drama is very unlike other romance stories. One of the greatest things about books by Autumn is that you get very real characters that you will always fall in love with and will always want to know what happens next! She is the absolute QUEEN of series writing and we are all lucky to have found her! Great book AJL!

This author really did her research. I recognized every band she researched. This book takes you on a journey of Rock and Roll History. Yes Guns and Roses actually recorded sex on a song on the Appetite for Destruction Album. And don’t forget the Cherry Pie video. There were many other parallels with rock stars. There is a slight cliffhanger. But I highly recommend this trilogy.

Ok, honestly there are no words. I feel like I say the same thing every time I review of Autumns books. They are just that good! I absolutely LOVE them all! Rock is my all time favorite, then Z, then Vapor. Now I have to figure out where to fit Chaser! So many book boyfriends so little time! Thank you Mrs Lake for sharing that beautiful brain with us again. I can't wait to read the conclusion!

I cleared my day on release day. I enjoyed this book. I laughed and a cried. I knew it would be a great book because it was written by Autumn. The book was better than I expected. I did not see the end of the book coming. I don't think she could have had a better cliffhanger. If you are looking for a new favorite author, please look no longer . Autumn Jones Lake is my favorite author. I have read her LOKI series to many times to count.

Could not get enough of this book loved everything about it. If you haven't read kickstart yet then I would recommend starting there. Our Queen, Autumn Jones Lake, has done it again. Another amazing read for book 2 of the Kickstart trilogy. This book had so much happening and I could not put it down because I did not want to miss a single thing. The story continues for Mallory and Chaser and though a lot happened to them and around them they managed to come out on top until the very end when we are left with a cliffhanger. Autumn Jones Lake has a very devious and brilliant mind and it definitely shows in her books. We are never disappointed by any of her books which are all well written with a lot of attention to detail to make us feel as if we are a part of the story. Every book you read will leave you wanting and needing more and every book that follows always fills this void because of the great imagination of our story teller. I highly recommend these books and if you have not yet read any of her books be prepared for an amazing ride back to the 80's and the life of a rock star full of excesses and temptations. TO SAY that Andrew is a repulsive character is an understatement. Jacob is also as obnoxious as any character I’ve read before. But, both are essential to this story. While I can’t help but feel sorry for Mallory having to live with the guys as an ever present “curse”, she also gets to love Chaser. When his situation forces them to return to his MC compound, Chaser’s dad sort of takes Mallory under his wing which shocks Chaser! The scene with the ball sack is absolutely hilarious. I do have a warped sense of humor though. On to book 3.

Highly recommended, set in the 80s. A bit of a look back in time. Sees the ongoing development of Chaser & Mallory`s love story.
