Best Practice (Special Delivery Book 5)

This is my second time reading this entire series and I just hope the next book comes out soon as I can't wait to see what is in store for Tess and Brooke. Only bad thing about loving this authors books is that she just cannot write them fast enough! I don't even preview her books anymore I just click and buy because I have never been disappointed. I must confess that the title and cover of a book will draw me in and that is what drew me to this series . As a heterosexual woman who had never read a lesbian romance I wondered when I bought the first book in this series, if I would like it but she made a fan out of me. Her stories always tell a wonderful love story that is filled with passion, friendship and always mutual respect of one another. Somehow she always reminds us of what we all hope to find in a partner for life! Please hurry and give us more Brooke and Tess!

Another great episode of Tess and Brooke, my favorite of all of J.A.'s series. This was a fantastic book, so much development for all of the main characters and this was a short novella as well. This book really captured Tess and Brooke's undying love for one another, and you witnessed both Dani and Davey taking the first steps on the pathway to becoming young adults despite not yet reaching their teen years. Tess finally coming to terms with her mother and seeing a future that involved more than just being mom to three kids, a dog, and a wife. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

I absolutely love reading this series! I must have reread it at least 50 million times it seems. The only thing missing is the next book in the set. I'm hoping that it won't be much longer for it to make it's appearance. The connection and solidarity between Tess and Brooke is as tangible as I'm sure most people would want and hope their lives could be. Each and every character plays a vital role in leading the reader into a world of possiblity. These books are full of life, love, laughter and there is also pain and heartbreak. They are full of lessons all one has to do is take the time and listen.

J.A.Armstrong is one of the best writers in this genre. Her books always give you a warm feeling and this installment gives you exactly that and more. It is full of love, passion, deep connections, humor and excellent dialogues. The characters feel like family and I'm always happy when I get a few hours with them. The twins makes you laugh and they ar so adorable. In this one, Davey just makes my heart smile with his protectiveness. As always, the writing is sublime and I loved every minute of it.

Love this series. I missed some of the family interaction as the previous books; however, this is their reality. In regard to their talk about additional children...I am sure you thought of this, but what is Brooke's fertilized egg is implanted in Tess? Then when Mary gets on her high horse again, Tess can shoot her down stating that she is carrying Brooke's child! LOL I truly am enjoying the series and am eager for more. Thanks for the hard work and effort, it is truly appreciated. Lisa

I just love JA Armstrong’s zany characters. In Best a Practice she shows the real side of blending a family with reverence and love. Although, with just a bit of humor to make it all so enjoyable! Looking forward to the next one.

I really like how they dig into Tess past with her mother after her brother died. And how her son stepped up and was asking the hard questions.

I thought I would never recover from the By Deign series which was many many books but could not stop reading. Now I found this next series Special Delivery and again I find myself pulled in and enjoying Brooke and Tess and company. The love for each other and their families is what keeps this series going on. However the next installment is supposed to be called Making Rounds but I do not see it. Was looking forward to it. This last book was written in 2015 so not sure what happened......

Parents sometimes forget that the things they say around children could have a lifetime of either remorse or joy depending on what is said. As the author brought up in her story her character children were very observant in what was said and not said and how they saw fit to help the injured person in their own way. Enjoy!

Another book one of J.A. Armstongs books that has taken my sleep happily. As soon As I saw it availabe, I could not put it down until it was completed. The love J.A. Armstrong has for her characters in each of her books is evident. She demonsrates love in each family no matter how trying the relationship is. I enjoy the characters in this series and each relationship among each member of the family. She brings wisdom to the twins when needed, strength of love between Tess and Brooke and their parents. It shows a family dynamic that is hard to miss. I loved the book and look forward to more in the series.

Welcome back, Brook and Tess. I read this in one sitting, and am already looking forward to the next one. I enjoy how J. A. Armstrong brings humor to her books. She shows us that even when there are bumps in the road, having the ones you love with you makes it bearable. I recommend all of her books.

There is something about J.A. Armstrong books and series that I just love. Maybe it's the happy almost perfect couples...maybe the cute insightful kids...maybe it's the light drama and heavy romance and love. Whatever it is, it always has me wanting and waiting for the next one. That being said I can't get enough of Brooke and Tess and their families. Fans of the series will enjoy it!

This is the Fifth book I read about these interesting women, but I am starting to feel tired of reading a Hetero book. I think I have to take a break from this series for a few weeks.Off to my next adventure.

It's hard to watch your parents age. It was very hard to see my parents change as they got older. I lost my Dad to cancer and my Mom to dementia. This story shows how Tess and Brooke are coping with changes in their parents. I love this series and how well it's written. I shed a few tears and I laughed at the Gatorade banter! Such a wonderful family!

Great continuation of the series. Brooke and Tess continue to grow as do their kids and friends. Great story about life and how people react to things differently. The characters allow the reader to analyze how she handles everything on a daily basis. Brings the meaning of YOLO to a new level. Looking forward to the next one as always!

I have enjoyed ready the continuation of the lives of the Campbell family. Their relationship is one that we all wished we had. Ms. Armstrong writes with such fun and understanding. Cannot wait for the next one!

I should know better than to start a series before it's complete... The only criticism I have about this book is that the next volume in the series isn't available yet!

I always love books by J.A. Armstrong! They are funny, relatable, have lovable characters and display lesbian relationship without the usual drama and angst that seem to go hand in this particular genre. I'd definitely recommend this book, and any other book by Ms. Armstrong!

I love this author. She writes such warm, loving, compelling characters. Each family member speaks with a unique voice so sincere that I want them as friends. Once again, the only problem with this book is that it ended too quickly. I want more!!!

Sweet, and romantic is the story of Tess and Brooke. I had a follow the by path of their relationship and I love the way they support and take care of each other. How their love survive inside the chaos of life. They always find peace in the turbulence, holding their family together.

Another peek into the world of Tess, Brooke and their kids. I love the playful banter between Tess & Brooke. My only complaint is that it wasn't longer, now I try to patiently wait for the next book in the series.

I gave this month five star rating. Its fun it's relaxing and its well worth the time. These days things are crazy in the world and I love being able to retreat into another one of this series or any of her books. Can't wait for the next book to come out.

I've missed this series. It's been quite a while since Armstrong added to it. Now I can't wait for the next one. This is another soap opera as I like to call them. You get immersed into their lives. You live their journeys. But most of all you experience everything with them. Even the hard parts. Many won't like them. Too short. Or whatever. But I love them because you don't have to think. Grab yourself your favourite drink, wrap up warm and just enjoy. I did. Relax and enjoy but read them in order.

Can't wait for the next book totally love these two. The kid's are definitely the stars. Don't know how Brooke & Tess do it
