My Favorite Calendar
A pictorial collection of traditional wooden sail and power boats, including an occasional below-deck view of gorgeous warm wood, by noted nautical photographer Benjamin Mendlowitz, together with commentary by Maynard Bray in a homespun manner that gives life to the boat as he tells of previous owners, where they traveled, the features of this particular craft that would be most appreciated, among other wonderful insights by this most extraordinary old salt! Each month a new visual treat of the present and a trip back in time aboard that same vessel.
Beautiful, high quality calendar
I’ve purchased the new version of this calendar every year for the past 4 or 5 years. I love it and look forward to the new one each year. This calendar is very high quality. I will continue to purchase it each year. Be sure to order it in October or November. If you wait too long to order (like December), you may have delays with delivery. This year (for 2019 calendar) it took until late January to receive my copy I ordered in December.
Nice calendar
Nice mixture of pictures and nice size to hang up. Missing a start as it's too expensive in relation to other calendars. Success breeds higher prices, but 2021 went up again in price! Is there no end?
Couldn't live as happily without it!
Having learned to sail on some magnificent, old wooden boats; this calendar is essential to my peace. Extraordinary photographs - and I can even know what day it is!
