Wolf Kahn's landscapes glow like living jewels in brilliant, improbable color combinations. A stand of trees might be backed by vivid orange or bright magenta. Dusky purples and blues are intensified. Leaves shimmer chartreuse. Given that Kahn works in nearly violent colors, his paintings are wonderfully tranquil and evocative of real-world hillsides and weathered buildings. Kahn was at the center of a 1950s movement toward the fusion of representational and abstract art. His affinity for this combination and his genius for capturing the immediacy of nature's hues have brought him to the forefront of the American colorist school. Twelve of Kahn's striking paintings are presented in this calendar.

Not up to par
I agree with reviewer 'Rosemary', this photography is not sharp and çlear, the colors are washed out. Certainly falls short of expectations, because I have purchased other Wolf Kahn calendars of better quality.
A Beautiful Calendar
I have ordered the Wolf Kahn wall calendar every year. Why? I like the illustration colors and the boxes are large enough for my brief notes. I see no reason to change.

I love the Wolf Kahn calendars and have bought them for several years. However, 2021 is very similar to 2020 and would have liked a greater variation on a theme.
Calendar is beautiful but amazon packaging failed
The calendar is beautiful. However, amazon packaging was terrible. They bent the calendar to make it fit in a smaller box with other items. Item damaged.
