Great Cookbook. Plus Read Review for a Solution to Your Binding Woes

I really like the Well Fed series cookbooks. As far as content goes...this one very possibly has the most recipes that we'll actually make of the three cookbooks. Although we like to cook, like everybody, it seems like there's never enough spare time to cook as much as we'd like. So, a cookbook focused on recipes that take less time is a welcome addition. We've looked through the whole thing, and have made several things. I also find it interesting that the author has picked some of the same types of recipes that we've independently found work very well on those time-crunched nights [homemade taco meat is delicious and very simple even when using actual spices and not a 'packet', and of course grilled burgers with salad, etc.]. Trying to keep the carbs down, I AM IN LOVE WITH the cauliflower-based 'rice' and 'mashed potatoes' substitute recipes that we learned about in Well Fed 2 (page 167). This book uses those ingredients in several dishes such as "Shepherd's Pie" (page 123) and "Dirty Rice" (page 129)...and I literally see no reason to ever eat potatoes or rice ever again! I also really liked the Sticky Orange Sunflower Chicken with Sesame Broccoli (page 173). If you are thinking of doing more low-carb and/or Paleo cooking, I strongly recommend that you check out this book and Well Fed 2 (with Nom Nom Paleo also being pretty good). Now on the subject of the binding: Yeah, not sure *what* is up with that binding, but it is strange and leaves a lot to be desired. A couple of others are reporting pages falling out. That hasn't happened with ours, but if you leave the book laying open, the cover doesn't return to flat...it kinda sits there all curved around the spine of the book. And is really just funky. I saw a recommendation here by someone to get it spiral bound at an office supply or print store, and this was great advice. I just took it down to Staples, and it was only $5.50 to cut off the old binding and put a plastic spiral binding on the cookbook. It now works *better* than when it was brand new, as it lays truly flat now (see my uploaded image)! I am guessing that at some point the publisher and printer will fix this binding issue, but I'm actually glad that I've made this 'upgrade'...makes using the book much easier. My wife wants me to tell everyone on Amazon that a great cookbook with a poor binding is still WAY better than the opposite. This way, however, you can have the best of both worlds! Update 12/14/16: We've made several more things from this cookbook, and I've liked everything except for one recipe that called for ground up anchovy (Sicilian Cauliflower w/ Beef page 73...tried to be 'open' to new flavors...but no thank you). I really liked the Yucatan Green Chile Saute with Cumin-Lime Sauce (page 101) and the Greens with Potatoes & Sausage (page 111). I thought the Chicken Satay Burger was decent as well...I would have it again...but maybe not on my list of absolute favorites from this cookbook. Anyway, we're really enjoying these new meals, and some new recipes that don't take a really long time to make.

Made our Whole30 Easy and so Delicious!

I have Melissa's earlier cookbooks and have loved them -- but this one is spectacular. Santa Claus brought Well Fed Weeknights to me and our four grown daughters -- all of us planning to do the Whole30 for the month of January. We have done the Whole30 before -- but honestly this year has been easier. It definitely helped that all of us are doing it together in 5 different homes, all making recipes from Melissa's cookbook -- in 45 minutes or less and sharing photos amongst ourselves and reviews. Honestly -- none of us have made anything we have not loved. The spices, the portions, everything is fabulous. And the fact that everyone can get home from work and have time to make something delicious in less than an hour is the icing on the cake. My husband who has been dragged along on Whole30's before -- has not complained one time this month. We are in our final week of the Whole30 -- but all of us plan to use Melissa's cookbook year round. We love it!

We are basically obsessed with this cookbook. As a working mom with a toddler who loves to cook (and eat!) But has no time, this book is worth its weight in gold. I think we’ve tried 60% of the recipes and there was only one that was “just okay.” Every other recipe was freaking delicious. It makes our lives so much easier. We have shelves full of cookbooks that we don’t even crack anymore. My one complaint is the relatively shoddy bind which falls apart after lots of use but don’t let that deter you. We’ll just take it to a copy shop to be bound if we can find the time! If you are on the fence - just buy this book. You’ll send silent thanks and praise to Mel every night.

Makes for happy bellies!

I love the recipes in here! They are easy to follow, quick to put together, and full of flavor. I've already made a week's worth of meals and all of them have been successful. Some additional things I love about this book: great pictures, budget friendly ingredients, recommendations about how you could switch up the dishes (varying the spices, meats, or produce), a "mini cook-up" to plan ahead for the week, and each recipe gives an average time for preparation and how many it serves (and they are both accurate...YES...a full, healthy meal can really be prepared in well under 45 mins). I'd say this cookbook is great for new cooks. It's also great for people who have been cooking for a while, but stuck in a rut at dinner time. Even if you're NOT paleo and just want to change things up a bit, this would be a great add to your life! My only complaint - the binding on this book sucks! I've only had it for a week now and it's already starting to fall apart...seriously!?!?! That's pretty crappy! So that's the reason I'm giving this book 4 stars.

This has been my favorite cookbook from Melissa Joulwan

This has been my favorite cookbook from Melissa Joulwan. It's much more in line with how I cook - something quick, lots of variation within the same recipes so that I don't have to alter technique but can still get a totally different flavor. I love her flavor combinations. This is a really great resource. Now, I would agree with others that the binding on this book is really bad - I've never had a book come apart quite like this one, but it's not enough to deter me from recommending it.

Meh.

The binding fell apart immediately, upon first time opening the book to use it. I see in other reviews that I'm not the only one with this problem, so the publisher put out a bad run. So far I've only tried one recipe from the book, the chicken pesto meatballs on p. 157. I found the meatballs a bit dry and bland, had to add more salt and pepper than called for. The recipe yielded not nearly enough tomato sauce if you follow the recipe exactly. Good thing I had some marinara on hand to add and save the dish from being too dry. Although there were multiple steps to this dish, even required a food processor for the pesto, in the end it didn't feel like too much effort and time for a weeknight dinner, which I appreciated. I'll keep trying other recipes in the book, even though I'm totally pissed that the book is falling apart. The binding is an absolute joke.

The usual fabulous Well Fed content, extremely poor quality binding

I love the Well Fed books, and the recipes and content deserve 5 stars just like the first two. (The Dan Dan noodle recipe is really good, just like you'd expect from Melissa.) But, like many other reviewers, my book started falling apart before I even had a chance to use it and I'm currently using loose pages as bookmarks for other recipes, which, while arguably handy, messes up the flow of the rest of the book. I do hope a new edition with better binding becomes available, as Well Fed is one of the best series of cookbooks, paleo or not, that I've owned, and I recommend it to everyone. (And I'd probably buy a second copy just to have a quality version to use.)

Unique

I really like this cookbook for its uniqueness. It meets my needs for creative, flavorful paleo or whole30 recipes. I've been cooking spiralized vegetable recipes for quite some time now and the " comfort noodles" and zucchini noodles with white clam sauce recipes in this book are two of my all time favorites. The recipes are surprisingly pretty quick as well. So Pleased with the purchase I bought it in kindle format as well to have on hand if I'm out and about.

The BEST and EASIEST paleo cookbook I've used

All the food is amazing, super easy, and quick to make. I've eaten things I never thought I would (anchovies and figs, for starters) and am not looking back. We've only been using it for dinners for the last few weeks but I can't wait to try ALL of it. So delicious and SO easy to follow. Unfortunately I've already managed to rip a page down the spine while flipping back and forth (for the velvet stir fry instructions to see the ingredients on the following page). I wish it had better binding as this will remain the most used cookbook in my house and it's already failing me *insert sobbing face*. Anyhow, Melissa, thank you so much for creating this gem. We LOVE it!

I don't have a lot of time to cook during the week and I got bored very quickly during my first round of Whole30

I bought this after my first Whole30 in preparation for my second round. As a nurse and a single mom, I don't have a lot of time to cook during the week and I got bored very quickly during my first round of Whole30. This was recommended so I decided to give it a try. Some of the recipes are a bit exotic for my taste and I will have to add some more spices to my pantry but overall I'm pleased. I'm a picky eater and I don't eat seafood or pork, and seldom eat fancy cuts of red meat. There are so many chicken recipes and ground beef recipes I can't wait to try! I'm most excited about the Mini Cook-up and I love the list of 50 Comforting things with "non-confrontational" comfort recipes. I'm so excited about this cookbook! I can see that the pages will likely fall out easy, like other reviewers have noted. I will get the book spiral bound before I start heavily using it. If you are into Paleo/Whole30 BUY THIS COOKBOOK.

Great book, crappy binding

I have cooked from this cookbook extensively and all but one or two of the recipes have been hits for the whole family. The recipes are for 2-4 servings and require a bit of math for me to scale up for my family, but that is a minor annoyance. The only thing I don't like about this book is the binding. I had only used it for a couple weeks when it began to fall apart. I now have loose pages. I wish this came in hardback, or at least a more durable paper binding.

Options, Options, and More Options

I love to eat, but I'm not terrific at meal planning, so I sat down with all my cookbooks this week, marked the pages that appealed to me with post-it-notes, and then made numerous weekly meal plans using the recipes from one cookbook at a time, so that I would be cooking out of Cookbook A one week, Cookbook B the next, Cookbook C the next, etc. This cookbook was by far the most approachable and appealing of my entire library (I have about a dozen Paleo cookbooks). Well done, Melissa Joulwan!

My Favorite Paleo Cookbook!!

This is my favorite Paleo cookbook, although all of Mel Joulwan's books are great. I love the velvet stir fry recipes, and I like her style of showing variations for most of the recipes so I don't get bored. The pic attached is the Orange Beef with Walnuts Velvet Stir Fry, so delicious!!

I really like Melissa's approach to these recipes

I really like Melissa's approach to these recipes. She gives lots of tips for cook-ups that can be done ahead of time to save time on the weeknights. The way she groups recipes helps me see the way the components work together and helps me feel more confident improvising when I don't have (or don't like) a certain ingredient. It's much more than just a collection of recipes (which you can find online for free); which is why I think this was well worth the price!

Complete your WF Trilogy ASAP

My third Well Fed cookbook (completing the trilogy! whoopwhoop!) I thumbed through it last night and couldn't help but do some light meal planning and now I'm currently meal-planned through the next 4 weeks - I want to make ALL the things! Thank you, Mel for another wonderful and thoughtful book of ideas and happy bellies. Also - double thank you for making the book a "lay-flat" style - SO helpful!

My favorite cookbook!

I love this cookbook! I have followed the sample menus a few times and am now just selecting a few recipes each week to make. I have been using it for quite a few months now and have not gotten bored with it at all. I love how the instructions include when to do each step which keeps me from getting overwhelmed when it looks like a long list of ingredients and instructions. And the recipes taste great!!

Buy Even if You're Not Paleo

This is the second Paleo cookbook I purchased. I'm not Paleo but I'm trying to stay away with Gluten since I have an intolerance to it. Love love the simplicity and flavorful recipes. LIke other reviewers stated, you will make several recipes out of this book and they will become staples. Both my husband and 23 year old daughter along with myself have made recipes from this book and we loved them all. I also like that I'm learned some techniques on cooking spiralized noodles to make them the texture of chowmein noodles. Super beautiful pictures and great instructions! Must buy even if you're not Paleo but if you are, you've got a home run with this book.

Okay recipes

I would have initially gave this book a 5 stars for creative recipes at first, however after making multiple recipes from this book as well as the other Well Fed books, I am going with 3 stars. Its a decent recipe book, but have not enjoyed many of the recipes. I love food, don't get me wrong, but these recipes are not my taste.

Great paleo recipes (with terrible binding)

The book contents are fantastic as are all of the Well Fed series. We love the Ground Beef and Gravy with Rice recipe as well as the Chicken Satay Burger recipe. Really everything I've made has been a hit. But worth noting, as many others have mentioned, the binding is a problem and pages are coming out in the center. I am not downgrading my review because of this, due to the fact that the content of a cookbook matters more than the binding! But I do hope the publisher fixes this on subsequent printings, as mine as a first edition of the book.

Wonderful recipes, great food, great companion to Whole30--needs better binding

The recipes and information in this book are a solid 5 stars. I have made about 10 of the recipes so far since purchasing, and every single one has been spectacular. I am not giving this 5 stars simply because the binding in this book is horrible. I've had this book for a few weeks now, and I've been very gentle with it. I've only propped it up in a recipe book stand while cooking and other than that, it's stored on a bookshelf. The pages and binding are already falling apart. A little disappointing, but it wouldn't make me not recommend the book. I just feel like it should be better bound.

Fast, delicious, healthy recipes!!!

I've been cooking from Well Fed and Well Fed 2 pretty regularly for the last two years and LOVE both of them. I'm really enjoying Mel's newest book so far. At first, I didn't really trust the "method" because I am very much a "mise en place" type of cook so at first I was struggling to read through the recipe a million times to find out how to prep all of the ingredients. The last two recipes I tried (Picadillo and Tropical Tacos with Jicama Slaw) according to the directions and it WORKED - fast and easy (and I managed to clean up as I cooked too, in spite of the warnings to wait until the end). As usual, the seasonings and spices are spot on - highly recommend this book even if you have the other two - lots of new stuff!

Inspiring and Very Helpful

I've only read through some of the book, made the lovely recipe "Zucchini Pasta with Chicken & Pistachios" and taken Melissa's recommendation to use twice cooked potatoes and shredded meats in easy meals, but I'm quite happy so far. As someone whose been eating Paleo/Primal for about three years, and someone whose been cooking dinner most nights for over fifty years, recipe books are of limited use, but it's fun to read and we all need some inspiration sometimes.

Good but about 20% duplication of recipes and 75% duplication of other info across the 3 books in the series

45 minutes is RIGHT! The food is excellent, the approach is very empowering (provides tons of ideas to experiment further) One caveat: she is heavy handed with salt and red pepper, I recommend halving the amounts of both in the recipes first time you cook them.

This is the best series of cookbooks ever

This is the best series of cookbooks ever. I was a terrible cook, but for some reason, I don't seem to be able to screw up these recipes. They always come out tasting so flavorful and good. My husband is blown away by how good healthy food can taste and is regularly requesting recipes and even meal planning with me now. Melissa and her Well Fed series have truly changed our lives - not just in dinners, but in how well we feel (and sleep) after eating them.

I love this cookbook - delicious recipes, most take longer than 45 min for me

I love the recipes in this cookbook, they are all doable, and most we've made are delicious. The stir fry recipes are terrific, and I like the ideas for various toppings on potatoes/sweet potatoes. Also delicious - Moo-Soo Stir Fry, Banh Mi Bowl, and Curry Chicken Salad. I'm a pretty experienced home cook, and I do find that unless I'm making something very simple like the potato-toppings, these take me longer then 45 min to make.

so this paleo cookbook is perfect for us

I have to eat gluten free, and my daughter has a milk allergy, so this paleo cookbook is perfect for us. The recipes are AMAZING (like restaurant quality) even though the ingredients are pretty basic. We've tried around 7 recipes, and have absolutely LOVED 6 of them. Definitely the best cookbook I've ever owned. I bought it for my mother-in-law after trying it for a few weeks. Would highly recommend! The only downside is that the binding of the book is really weak and separates a little, but that shouldn't deter you from buying this cookbook.

Hit it out of the park

This might be the best ever! I have the other 2 in Kindle form and am now rethinking it and possibly might want these in paper form set. But what do I love about this book? The instructions, the juxtaposition of flavors and the decomplication of weeknights. Thanks, Mel. Another winner.

Great Book

I really like this recipe book, and that it contains any dinner I could ever need to prepare for my family of 5 that takes under an hour. And they are full meals. Most recipe books make you jump around and choose a side, but this is a complete dinner. AND it shows you how to prep for the week. GAME CHANGER.

Great cookbook, not so great binding

The cookbook itself is amazing! However, the binding on my book is poor quality and the cover was falling off after having the book for about 3 days.

Great Recipes, Poor Quality Book

The recipes in this book are fantastic. I have really enjoyed them. However the quality of the physical book is extremely poor. I have had it for less than two weeks and already pages are falling out.

Great cookbook, horrible binding

This is my favorite of the Well Fed series! I have all of Melissa Joulwan's books but they've always been my least used of our paleo cookbook collection. However, I'm really enjoying this one. The format is really approachable and all of the recipes we've made have been great. That said, the binding is horrible. I read the reviews and assumed that the binding was just as bad as Melissa's other books (not great). The issue is that the binding is exactly the same as the other books, but this book is about double the size. The binding detached before we even made our first recipe. It's still together enough, but I don't expect it to last long. I would rather the book be more expensive and come with a better binding than having the added expense and effort of whatever fix I come up with in the next few weeks.

I like to cook paleo-ish and I'm a working mom so ...

So excited about this book! I'm a seasoned cook, I like to cook paleo-ish and I'm a working mom so I was looking for a healthy, quick, yet interesting new cookbook for inspiration. This definitely delivers! I ordered Against all Grain first and promptly returned, bored with the recipes and a lot of them have been done before. This book offers a fresh take while also being simple, quick and healthy.

great recipes

We're a big fan of the Well Fed cookbooks and this latest one doesn't disappoint. I wouldn't say all the recipes are less than an hour, especially the meatballs, but we don't care because they are tasty!

Just search online for recipes

I work and have a child. These recipes sound good but are too labor intensive for family weeknight meals.

Great recipes - terrible physical book

I've struggled with the number of stars to leave on this review. The recipes are great. The timing is down perfect, instructions like 'while this is cooking, do this'. It comes together perfectly every time. The philosophy of cooking and eating in this book and her other two have changed how we eat in our house. So for the recipes, 5 stars. However, the binding on the book is terrible. While others have offered solution on how to deal with it, it shouldn't need solutions. Books are made to stay together, and I cannot recommend to anyone to buy this book until they find a new publisher. Pages were falling out within days of purchase, and that is just unacceptable. So zero stars for the actual physical book.

Hoping for more practical help with paleo weeknights

I have all 3 of the Well Fed books, and I have to say I am disappointed in this one. I was really hoping for some helpful shortcuts for weekdays. I do the cook-up, and the planned left overs but it is A LOT of effort. I was especially hoping for better use of frozen veggies, or many more options for using planned leftovers from the freezer for those weeks when we actually had a lot of activities on the weekend or travel. When I am staring down a hangry and tired family (including myself!) after work, school and activities - I don't have time to wash, swish, and trim chard or kale, peel and chop potatoes, separate, peel and smash garlic, grate ginger.... I need to cut the high quality bag of veggies and pour, and open an organic prechopped jar of garlic to make the magic happen those nights. This book is still a lot of washing, chopping and multi-device cooking. That said we do like many, many recipes and there are some helpful tips but I have to adjust, sometimes unsuccessfully to use frozen veggies or my own frozen veggies or my own intentional pre-cooked and frozen meats to add.

this book is amazing! Besides just recipes

If you're just starting a Paleo lifestyle or even if you want a healthy meal plan that you can pull off in just a few minutes each evening, this book is amazing! Besides just recipes, it gives instructions on how to plan your meals ahead so that you can prep everything you need in one day, then only cook minimal amounts or reheat as needed during the week. Not to mention, the recipes are absolutely delicious!

It's ok

This book has some good recipes but you have to have so many ingredients for each one.

This is hands down the best cookbook I purchased in 2016

This is hands down the best cookbook I purchased in 2016. Or maybe ever. It strips away all the pretense that so many paleo or Whole 30 cookbooks have that try to deliver fancy pants meals that require far too much time and effort. This cookbook is full of real food, laid out in a way for real people to cook this way regardless of their inevitably busy schedule. It's an absolute masterpiece and a perfect way for people who aren't adept at cooking to learn how to find their rhythm in the kitchen.

Hard to follow. Hardly any pictures.

Layout is all over the place and hard to follow. Barely any pictures. I prefer a picture with each recipe. I’m not a fan.

I love Mel's cookbooks and I have many of them

I love Mel's cookbooks and I have many of them. I have already made 5-6 of the recipes and they are great! This is an awesome cookbook and it does have some different recipes than some of her other ones (for those who are wondering).

One of my favorite cookbooks but binding falls apart

I have all 3 of the well fed books and the binding has fallen apart on every single one. On a positive note, these recipes are staples in our weekly meal prep. Wish she wouldn't use 1.5 pounds in every recipe. 2 pounds makes more sense since meat is sold in 1 pound increments.

LOVE the clean recipes, Great food!

Great recipes! I love the Well Fed series, can't say enough good things about the food. Product only loses a star for construction of the book. As I was cooking with it, two pages fell right out (I'll try to post a pic). Granted I have it on the counter while I'm cooking (um, it is a cookbook), but I think more pages are going to easily fall out. I'll have to figure out something to do with it because i LOVE the recipes!

Creative, easy, and delicious!

I bought this book as I'm currently doing the Whole30 and needed some inspiration. This book is packed with creative, easy-to-follow recipes and wonderful advice and inspiration! I have made about 4 of the recipes since I got it last week and can't wait to make more. There are so many recipes and unique combinations within those recipes that it will probably take me years to try it all. I love that I am being introduced to meals that are new to me while still using ingredients that I can easily find in my local grocery store. Melissa's book has inspired me to realize that even when this Whole30 is over, I will continue cooking Paleo!

Powerful Paleo Cookbook

Love this cookbook. I have recently discovered I have a gluten sensitivity and was struggling to find recipes that mimic my eating habits without the gluten and other grains. This book is exactly what I was looking for.

Fantastic book but horrible binding

I love most of the recipes in this book and she provides options to tweak them. The layout is great with a lot of helpful advice. Her meal planning tips make prep easy and weeknight cooking even easier. I’ve had this book a little over 6 months and it is falling apart. I have made quite a few recipes and have been pretty gentle with it. The other night pages started falling out. :-( I plan to figure out how to keep it together because I rely on this book quite a bit! It contains information on getting a digital copy for $1, which I did, but I also like having the book. Even with the binding issue I would buy it all over again because her recipes and ideas are worth it.

Well Fed will be Well Used!

This is my first purchase of the Well Fed series and I love, love, love it. I'll definitely be giving as gifts too. I was looking for dairy free recipes and after hearing Melissa interviewed on Abel James' podcast decided her book would fit the bill. Melissa's recipes are super tasty and quick, plus she gives you tons of ideas for variations on many dishes. She gives good advice on prepping in advance, if you want to do that. David Humphreys' Photography and Illustrations make this book a joy to behold. I'm a cook book junkie and I couldn't be happier to add this one to my stash. Well Fed will be Well Used!!!

Great Clean Eating

Truly great cookbook for those wishing to eat cleaner, but want good, tasty recipes that aren't complicated. Mostly Paleo, but many recipes are easily adjusted for Whole30 too.

Saved my Whole 30

Love, Love, Love this book! My favorite part is the prep in the beginning. I think it saved our Whole 30 last time. Every recipe we've tried in the book has turned out and been delicious. I actually recommend this book to everyone!!

Great Paleo cookbook!!

Love the recipes in this book! There are a few that are now my go-to recipes. I love that the recipes in this book are mostly all ones that I already have the ingredients for. I have tried several and they have all turned out amazing. Might have to go and order the other Well Fed books.

LOVE this cookbook

LOVE this cookbook. Haven't tried everything yet. The only thing I can't wrap my mind around is the raw egg for mayo, dressings, etc... but other than that I've tried much of it - and I love it so much I gifted one to my sister, and gave another away to a friend - I need to order it AGAIN because I can't be without it. :)

I really loved the first two Well Fed books and I was ...

I really loved the first two Well Fed books and I was so excited for this. The ingredients aren't attainable to "quick" meals and there are a lot of ingredients I wouldn't have in my cabinets. I think the recipes could be a bit easier and ingredient list could be smaller.

Great cookbook

Bought this for a sald dressing recipe and it has a ton of other healthy recipes. And the salad dressing recipe is delicious (a dupe for good seasons Italian but gluten free

Frequently used. Fantastic recipes non Paleo eaters will love!

I have all of the Well Fed cookbooks in addition to several other Paleo cookbooks: Nom Nom Paleo, Meals Made Simple, Paleo Perfected, and The New Yiddish Kitchen. I went Paleo about 3 years ago simply to try something different. Fortunately, I have no dietary issues that require this type of eating, but It did have a noted beneficial impact on my health. My good cholesterol levels soared and my bad dropped. I lost weight. I had more energy. I try to follow a Paleo diet as much as possible, but I do eat traditional foods on occasion. (I know I'm one of the lucky ones who can indulge in beer or ice cream without a major intestinal event.) Since I am the primary cook for my husband and 8 year old, I subject them to my Paleo-esque eating. And they are good sports about it, happily reviewing the dishes and giving honest feedback. I'm a mom and teacher so I don't have tons of time to cook as much as love to do it; so, I was excited to get this book for Christmas because I really liked the other Well Fed books. Melissa Joulwan's style of writing is fun and easy yet thoughtful. She gives a lot of suggestions and information up front, which is very helpful for newcomers to Paleo. Recipes are well laid out. Her strong emphasis on culturally driven ingredients makes for some really flavorful dishes, but few of the ingredients are items most people who frequently cook would be without. I will say some of the recipes take longer than 45 min unless you're flying through the prep. I've made quite a few recipes from this. Here are some standouts: Burger Deluxe p. 45, Chicken Shawarma p. 53, Velvet Stir Fry - Cashew Chicken p. 58 (amazing authentic stir fry flavor). Bacon Jalapeño Balls with Everything Carrots p. 99, Moroccan Cabbage Saute p. 113, Curry Chicken Salad p. 159, Zucchini Pasta with Chicken and pistachios p. 193. These are all recipes we all loved. This is a great book for hardcore Paleo and Paleo dabblers alike. Yes, my binding also is coming apart but it gives it a Well- loved look.

Best well fed yet!

Their best book yet! The Nigerian Beef is awesome.

I bought this while I was doing the Whole 30 and it was a great resource to find more Whole 30 friendly recipes that didn't take an hour+ to put together and that tasted REALLY good.

She's done it again!!!!

This cookbook is INCREDIBLE. I am the biggest Melissa fan and have both WellFed and WellFed 2 and love them. Her recipes are innovative and delicious. I was thrilled to find that this is the case in her newest cookbook as well. As an added bonus it only takes 45 minutes for you to feel like a master chef while making healthy options. I will buy every single cookbook she ever puts out, these cookbooks help me eat a whole30 lifestyle in a flavorful way

Great cookbooks

I have bought all the Well Fed cookbooks. The first one if probably my favorite, but they are all good.

Easy and yummy recipes!

It is so nice to have new tastes on this diet journey. This cookbook is a winner!

Fantastic recipes, book itself not as good.

I love love love this cookbook. These recipes are different, but the directions are detailed enough to pull it off. Everything is simple, and delicious, and I already have most of these ingredients. The only downside is the binding has not held up (I've only had it two weeks) and the pages are falling out. If you can get by with just the Kindle version that's probably a better bet.

Another winner in the Well Fed series

I have all the Well Fed books and they are my reliable go-to cookbooks. I recommend recipes to my friends and share the books, and love everything I've made from them. Melissa's writing is engaging and I love her way with seasonings and sauces and all the variations that are included for the recipes.

Not my favorite cookbook. A lot of the recipes are really ...

Not my favorite cookbook. A lot of the recipes are really time consuming and you need a lot of random ingredients. I don't use it as much as I thought I would, honestly.

Beef Burritos- buy the book for that recipe alone!!!!

I've loved a couple recipes I made from this and haven't cared for a few. I'm a big fan of Melissa Joulwan and have all of her books- the second one is my favorite. All of her books are amazing to get through Whole30! My fave recipe in this book is Beef Burritos (made mine with turkey) over crockpot potatoes! This book is worth its entirety just for that one recipe!!!! Better the 2nd & 3rd night!!! Even my guy liked this recipe!!

Great Paleo cookbook!

Great cookbook. Paleo friend recommended it to me.

Poor binding will not hold up for multiple uses

I’ve checked this book out from our local library before while doing a whole 30 and enjoyed it so much we bought our own copy. I’m giving it a 3 star because the quality of the binding is poor and after one use is completely bent and has pushed the pages out of line. For an almost $20 cookbook it should be more durable.

A little exotic, but delightful

Super fast and very nommy. Only 4 stars since so many of the recipes are a little on the 'exotic' side for my other half, but so far the recipes we've tried are tasty!

Five Stars

Great set-up for having a variety of a similar meal. Easy to follow directions.

Good Food... Bad Binding

We have only been using the cookbook for about 1.5 months and so far the recipes have been good. We are a fan of the previous 2 Well Fed books but needed some easier recipes for a while. I would have given more stars but the binding of the cookbook is already falling apart, it is very disappointing.

Love the "Well Fed" books

Love the "Well Fed" books. This one has some quicker meals which is nice for an evening. We've never got into the "prep all day SUnday" mentality so this version works well for us.

This is the only one that has all of the recipes using food I like and will serve to my family

I have a few recipe books for the Paleo Diet. This is the only one that has all of the recipes using food I like and will serve to my family.

Love the recipes!

The pictures are great and the recipes are tasty!

Good recipies

Easy to prepare, not too many special ingredients. Most recipies make two large servings.

Good, easy, delicious!

Simplified good paleo recipes with excellent prep ahead suggestions to save time when fixing a meal. Great folksy style with info on starting a paleo pantry, easy directions and locally available ingredients. Love it. My go to recipe book!

Tasty, quick and easy

Really good food with taste. The recipes aren't too fussy and don't require any bizarre. Every recipe I've tried so far has been very good.

Favorite Paleo Cookbook

Love, love, love this cookbook! Got it for my first Whole30 and still use it easily 2-3 times a week. Loving the salad dressings this summer. Its organization, pictures, and many tips are great!

Yummy and quick!!

I have Well Fed, and am so happy to expand the recipes... This book is full of incredibly flexible recipes - with tips whether you're doing a weekly cook up or just making it all at once. Full of delicious Paleo recipes - most are Whole30 too!!

Paleo/Whole30? Buy this cookbook.

When I first opened this cookbook I was overwhelmed and thought I had just wasted my money. I was wrong. Melissa tells you exactly what to do and when to do it. If you follow the recipe you can't go wrong.

My favorite Paleo cookbook

Melissa is fun to read. There is a lot of WHY as well as HOW in this book, so the information is great. Recipies are good, and in order of what needs to be done for efficiency. My favorite Paleo cookbook

Tons of great recipes

Win! Its really hard for us to find good cookbooks that my husband and I both like and this is a winner.

This has become our go to cookbook. Every meal ...

This has become our go to cookbook. Every meal can be completed in 45 minutes or less and there are no insane ingredients to hunt down or fancy kitchen tools.

Another staple cookbook

I have her other two books, well fed and well fed 2. This one is good as well. Even my 6 year old loves the Vietnamese lamb and fried chicken meatballs. All her recipes are imaginative and flavorful.

Great way to add variety to my menu planning

This is my go-to book during the week while on the Whole 30 diet. Great way to add variety to my menu planning.

A MUST HAVE!!!!

This is a great cookbook! I love the recipes and all the little extras! This is a must have for anyone wanting to follow a Paleo lifestyle.

Best paleo cookbook I have ever used

I love this cookbook! I have 7 other paleo cookbooks, and I am amazed by how good this one is. When I first glanced through the book, I have to admit that I was intimidated by the layout and long ingredient lists. However, once I dove in and tried a couple of recipes, I realized how the layout worked and it is actually very simple to follow. I have tried 5 recipes so far and each one has been absolutely delicious. And much faster to make than I thought it was going to be. I am a single mom with 2 kids so I don't always have time to cook and I'm not very intuitive at it. She makes it so easy for me to feel like I am a gourmet cook. I already have all of these ingredients in my house but she really shows you how to put them together. I also like the way a whole meal is incorporated into one recipe and she takes you step by step through the preparation. This book is wonderful and just what I have been looking for. I have ordered the first Well Fed book and am anxious to try some recipes out of there as well. I have never written a product review before, but I was compelled to share just how much I like this book.

Beat Cookbook EVARRRR!!!

Probably the greatest cookbook ever. You dont even have to think, grab the ingredients and follow the directions. Don't even set up, just do what you're told. Mel is an amazing writer and an inspiration to those of us that love food, crossfit and enjoying life. These meals allow you to get all that done with time to spare.

Another amazing cookbook!

This is my third Well Fed book and is just as amazing as the other two! A variety of recipes, great photos, and lots of variations. Mel hits a home run again. I will buy every cookbook she writes!

AWESOME Book! Highly recommend if you're a busy...anybody!

This book has changed my life. Ive gone from not knowing what anything is in the kitchen, to cooking up lunches that have my coworkers walking in the lunch room saying, "Oh my gosh that smells heavenly! What IS that!?". This book has everything and I am so grateful to Melissa for it. The mini cook up is a godsend! It has freed up so much time in my weekly schedule to actually have a life! And I love how she talks about "Mindful eating" and dining out options. And I'm not sure if it was in this book or her website (There was a special link to her website for book purchasers) where she broke down how you can figure out how much meat you should be buying per person per week! The things I have made so far from this book have been so awesome that I went ahead and got her other two books. Now I can spend some time on Sunday making a little more intricate meals along with my weekly cook ups. Im so excited to get into the kitchen now and can not thank Melissa enough! THANK YOU! It looks like there may be a market for Slow cooker Paleo meals too soooo...just throwing that out there! ;)

Love this book

Have already made several of the recipes. Love this book, easily my favorite of the (all loved) Well Fed Cookbooks. No problem with the binding yet but it’s only been a week. Won’t be sorry I bought it even if does fall apart.

So good!

The best cookbook EVER!! Everything I have made so far is delicious and so easy to make.

Super tasty recipes!!

I like Melissa's sense of humor and explanations!! I like her recipes far better that the ones in the Whole 30 book which i also bought!! Highly recommended!!

Yes the binding is horrible, but the content is GREAT!

Fantastic healthy cookbook with tons of healthy recipes. Written in such a way to appeal to an experienced home cook, but also accessible and inspiring to cooking newbies like me.

This cookbook has made cooking fun, easy

After leading a semi-paleo lifestyle, my husband and I decided to go all in. This cookbook has made cooking fun, easy, and quick. I try 1 to 2 recipea a week and my picky husband has loved every single one! We look forward to tasting each new recipe. This has become my mainstay cookbook and the first one I recommend to mu busy mom friends.

Fantastic, the best paleo/ Whole 30 cookbook

Fantastic, the best paleo/ Whole 30 cookbook! I was so excited I made two sauces and a recipe in the first 2 days. It is fun to read, great ideas to help you build a do start meal plans. This is my new go-to!

Four Stars

Great, easy recipes in here to use!

I use this so much I had to have it rebounded! Staples gave it a spiral binding for the win!

It's pretty much the only one I use now!

My favorite Well Fed!

whats for Dinner

This series of books is top notch - very practical

This is another great book from Melissa Joulwan

This is another great book from Melissa Joulwan! I have Well Fed and Well Fed 2 and I was really excited for this one to come out. She always has such great, flavorful recipes and the idea that I could get that in under an hour is amazing. Method I have bought cookbooks in the past where I have tried to make the dish in the estimated time only to have it take 2 or 3 times longer. That is so frustrating and makes for a late dinner! That is not the case in this book - Joulwan goes through her method for recipes making the cut and she has prepared them a number of times and needs to be able to make the recipe in 30-35 minutes or less because she gets that the rest of us don't cook all day every day. I really appreciate that she has done that and all of the recipes I have made have been in under an hour. No more super late dinners! Intro In all three of her books that I have, Joulwan writes an extensive intro before the recipes. I always find lots of good tips there about kitchen set up, food prep and some "basics" - this one is equally amazing. The potato tip alone is worth the price of the book! Recipes I LOVE her recipes - which is obvious since I keep buying her books. I am pretty good at reading recipes and deciding if I think it will be good or not, but I feel like the recipes in the Well Fed books just have to be trusted. I learned a long time ago after taking several risks with her books that I cannot judge whether or not I think it will be good by reading the recipe (that is weird, I know, but she is so good!) This book is no exception - the flavor combinations she puts together are wonderful, even for something as simple as how to dress up canned tuna. I made a stir fry last night in under 45 minutes that had so much depth of flavor I couldn't believe it. Get this book! Try the recipes in it! Even if it looks weird - trust her!

Five Stars

Great cookbook! Easy and manageable recipes for weeknights

Wonderful, flavorful, inventive, terrific!!

I love this book! I am already a fan of Melissa Joulwan and own her other two cookbooks. My only complaint about her first two books were that some of the recipes were a little time consuming or complicated. Perfect for weekend cooking, but weeknights? Not so much. So this cookbook really fills an important void. I have rarely had such great results with anyone's recipes (Paleo or not) in my life. Melissa really has a knack for flavors and her instructions are right on - the adjustments I make are generally minimal. The highest compliment I can pay her is that I am certain that I'll enjoy anything of hers that I make. I've already made and loved the steak house steak and potatoes meal (and the slow cooker potatoes are genius!!) and the Italian hoagie salad. Tonight I'll be making the Sicilian beef and cauliflower. Thanks for the great cookbook!!

Good food fast

Disclaimer: I have her previous 2 cookbooks and I love them. The recipes in this book are awesome. When I make a new recipe I make it as written and then adjust the spices to my taste. I've not had to adjust anything in this book. Furthermore, my husband has been hogging all the leftovers. The timeframe of 45 minutes is realistic. Get it. It's yum!

Great recipes, but the book is poorly bound (pages ...

Great recipes, but the book is poorly bound (pages coming out and I've owned it less than 6 months and have treated it gently). Get the kindle version if you can.

Yummy!

These recipes are absolutely delicious! So far, I've tried about 5 of the recipes and I have yet to be disappointed.

Pages fall out

While there are some good recipes to build from in this book, the binding that holds the pages in place is awful. Multiple pages have fallen off of the spine of the book with the gentlest turn of the page. Not what I would expect from a book this price. The layout and arrangement of the material is difficult to follow at times, and can be overwhelming. Too many boxes, callouts, and headers. Needs simplification.

Fast and flavorful weeknight meals

This cookbook has several really great (and fast!) paleo meal recipes that have made it into my regular rotation. Solid book with many flavorful options.

JUST WHAT MY SON WAS LOOKING FOR.

... as many days since I received it) and I love it! The food is yummy

I've prepared 3 dishes from this book (in as many days since I received it) and I love it! The food is yummy, the directions are spot on, and as promised, meals are on the table in 30 - 45 minutes. I own Mel's other 2 books and love them too - she' got another winner with Well Fed Weeknights!

Great cookbook for those on the Whole30 or doing paleo.

Great cookbook for the Whole30 food plan. Get the hard copy rather than the Kindle version. I have both and the Kindle is hard to use.

Five Stars

great recipes a lovely book

this makes it easy. The recipes are delicious and adaptable

This is my go-to book for paleo cooking. If you've never done paleo and feel intimidated, this makes it easy. The recipes are delicious and adaptable. I had lost my joy of cooking for a long time. This book restored it.

Really good food. Very happy with this book

Really good food. Very happy with this book!

My new favourite. I was sceptical to buy another paleo cookbook

My new favourite. I was sceptical to buy another paleo cookbook,I have so many that I seldom use, and little room to keep them. I was pleasantly surprised to see this book is packed with appealing( to my whole family) recipes, with flavours I wouldn't think to put together myself, that are easy, with easy to find ingredients. The best part is, everything Ive made, has tasted really good! I'm very happy with this book.

I just received my copy of Well Fed Weeknights yesterday. I am so excited to start to make some of the recipes in this book! I am a total fan of Melissa Joulwan and have her other two cookbooks. This cookbook looks terrific and I'm wondering if maybe it might be her best book yet!

A MUST HAVE Cookbook!

I have all three of the Well Fed Cookbooks and LOVE THEM ALL! The recipes are easy to follow and the taste is like Ka-Pow!!! Melissa provides you with recipes for spice mixes, sauces and dressings which make for mucho possibilities for amazing super satisfying tasty meals!!! One of my top favs is the Moroccan Dipping Sauce with the Best Chicken Ever...I literally lick my plate...soooo good!

We love these recipes

Excellent cookbook, even if you aren't Paleo, I would recommend it. Who doesn't like fast, tasty, healthy food?

A Good Supper

Easy to be Paleo when you can glance at a recipe in the morning and know you'll have a good supper. I haven't run across any hard to find ingredients.

Well done, once again!

Love the cookbook, quality of binding is horrible

I have all the Well Fed cookbooks, love them! But...the first time I used this cookbook, the binding broke! Horrible quality!

Great At Home and Inspiring for my Patients

The best cookbook ever! Fast, delicious, appealing, and most of all, completely healthy! Guilt-free! What a pleasure! I'm always pressed for time, but I'm also fanatical about good all-natural nutrition, while my family just wants their food to taste good. Melissa wins! I enjoy and trust this book so much that I sell it in my naturopathic endocrinology clinic because it helps correct hormone imbalances! Not exactly what Melissa set out to do, but it works well to help the great majority of my patients who struggle with crazy appetite, overweight, excess body fat, high stress, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, pre-diabetes, full-on diabetes, the whole nine yards. I am so happy to have such an inspiring book, both at home and in my clinic!

... whole 30 and this in my opinion is the best of the Well Fed series to date

I am doing the whole 30 and this in my opinion is the best of the Well Fed series to date. Easy, normal food. Highly Recommend!

Great series. I love all the ideas, and the pictures are wonderful.

Great, easy recipes that you can "throw together" rather than plan for. This has been a helpful tool while doing Whole30.

No excuses left to not eat real food!

What's not to love. Another great recipe book by MJ! Thanks for all you do. Your recipes have changed my life!

Great buy!

Great recipes! Very easy. Love the food prep guideline. This had a lot more to offer than I had expected. Highly recommended

Great quicker recipes

Have tried several of the recipes. Especially love the salmon cakes.

By far the best Paleo cookbook I owe

By far the best Paleo cookbook I owe, and I have a bunch. I received yesterday and already made my meals for the week.

Mel does it again - this cookbook rocks!

I love Mel Joulwan's cookbooks and Well Fed Weeknights is no exception! This one seems to be geared towards quick and health meals. Even making mayonnaise is simple and easy - just pack a pint size mason jar with the right ingredients, insert your stick blender and presto - instant mayo! She has the usual intro about how she got to this place, and then the recipes start - yum! They're arranged by categories - beef, chicken, eggs, etc. She also gives instructions for a "Mini Cookup" using a big batch cooking session that "ensures you have cooked food in your fridge for the week." Yay! Mel went into this generally with the first Well Fed, but this contains explicit instructions, which I need - and want! Right after that comes the "Now What?" section, which offers recipe suggestions for your pre-cooked items. For example, if you have prepped and cooked your chicken ahead of time, there is a list of 12 recipes you can use quickly. Another section called the "Ultimate Salad Bar" offers dozens of ways to create different salads. All in all, this is the perfect cookbook for someone who wants to eat healthy yet doesn't have much time to cook. You don't even have to eat Paleo to enjoy these recipes. Now I'm off to fix a BLT egg salad! YUM!

and we have been enjoying some amazing meals!

This was a gift for my wife. And though I have not read through it myself, she has read it cover to cover, and we have been enjoying some amazing meals!

Best cookbook I have bought in a long time!

This has to be one of the best cookbooks I have ever seen! From the amazing recipes, the helpful tips and tricks, and the full-color pictures this is a 5 star rating all the way!

Easy and delicious!

To be completely honest, I've only made one recipe out of this book--the sticky orange sunflower chicken with sesame broccoli--but I suspect the things I loved about this recipe are applicable to most every one in the book. I was tired from cleaning the house all day and just wanted dinner done, so I was a bit intimated from the sheer amount of instructions on the page. However, once I read through them, I realized they actually break it down and simplify everything. I loved how quickly and easily the sauce came together in one container with my immersion blender, and overall there really weren't many dirty dishes when I was done. The best part? When we sat down to eat (which was sooner than I expected), my husband was on the phone for work for the entire time he ate, so I thought he wasn't paying any attention to what he was eating--but when he hung up the phone and finished wiping up the rest of the sauce with the last piece of broccoli (he rarely cleans his plate like that), he turned to me and said, "That was really good, what was in it?" That may not seem like such a big deal, but if you've been around here for dinner, you would know that is A Very Big Deal. I also own Well Fed 1 and 2, and I'm still discovering gems out of those--like the west african chicken stew, shrimp scampi, super easy salmon cakes...I could go on and on--but suffice it to say, I recommend getting all three books (everybody loves a trilogy!). Thanks, Mel, for sharing your genius for easy and delicious meals to help answer that eternal question: what's for dinner?

Love this book! Recipes are great!

Great book so far!

I've made several recipes from this book so far. Each one has turned out really tasty. I like the mini cook up. I don't always do the whole cook up but I will choose a few to prep for the week so that it's easier and more convenient to eat healthy.

Absolutley Wonderful Cookbook

This cookbook is amazing! I've tried four recipes so far and all have been easy and delicious. There are so many recipes, recipe ideas, clear cooking instructions, and beautiful photographs for all the food. If you're going to buy a cookbook, get this one (even if you're not into the paleo thing)!!

Love all my Well Fed books, this one is just as great with lots of new recipes.

Delicious

I just received my book and have made the bacon jalapeño meatballs with special sauce, and it is phenomenal. I own Melissa's previous two books and every recipe I've made has come out perfectly according to the recipes. She has included a lot of time saving suggestions while prepping a weeks worth of food, and her style of writing is very entertaining. Many of her dishes have ethnic flair, which I love. She also gives many variations that the reader can try to change up typical, and sometimes boring meals. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves bold flavors

Great cookbook! Used it during Whole 30, but I plan to use it in my regular cooking as well!

Great recipes! Poor book quality

I have bought 3 of these books. One for myself and two for gifts. The recipes are awesome!!! The instructions are easy to follow and the book is entertaining! I do have a problem with the quality of the book. The binding has already detached and the pages rip easily. I have only had it a couple of weeks. I plan on using this book...a lot...but I am afraid it is not going to hold up well. One of the people I gifted the book to is having trouble too. I have the other two Well Fed books and this has not been a problem with them. I hope you can get this remedied.

Great weeknight recipes

Wonderful ideas for the paleo diet

Good Food

I love the ability to adapt the recipes to what you have on hand. I have read it thru several times. Can't wait to get some of her other books.

I am a huge fan of Melissa Joulwan and this book does not disappoint! I own both her other cookbooks and everything I have tried has been delicious. I can't wait to cook from this one too. As usual, this cookbook is PACKED with helpful tips, bold flavor profiles and healthy recipes but most importantly - it's fun! What I love most is that there are numerous variations on staple recipes. She doesn't just give you a great tip for slow cooking potatoes overnight but she includes numerous recipes to build upon from that - home fries, baked fries and different stuff potatoes etc. Genius. I love to cook and love food but sometimes the big ideas on what to make for lunch and dinner don't come so easily. Mel Joulwan offers up the chance for great eats and are healthy - and now fast!

This is a great book. The recipes are easy to follow and all are under 45 mins. This book is a MUST for Whole30.

Life style

Good recipes and perhaps more importantly, a added piece to the philosophy of trying to eat healthily each and every day... If you decide to eat something out of the routine- consider it a withdrawal from your bank account and enjoy that thing you crave... then get back to doing good things for your body... and pay attention to the results of that withdrawal to see if you want to do that again.... really love my new life eating good food and not processed!! This series of books has been truly a life saver for me - a 4 year of chemo melanoma survivor....

Terrible binding

Content is great but pages came loose from binding right away. Unacceptable.

What a great selection of recipes. Looking forward to trying them.

Love the content

Love the content; binding could be better, ie, cover pulls away from body of book, unlike WellFed one and Two.

My Very Favorite Cookbooks

I am a cookbook collector, and I have all three of Melissa Joulwan's cookbooks. If I could only keep one, it would be one of hers. The recipes are absolutely delicious. I also love the design of the books. I'd give it more stars if I could!

FANTASTIC cook book! Definitely a must have for all paleoers out there!!

Good recipes, terrible binding

I decided to purchase the hardcopy of the book instead of the Kindle version because I've found it's easier to navigate, but regret it with this book. Within a few days of doing nothing extraordinary (turning pages), the cover is falling off. I've read other reviews that report this as well. So in this case I would have been better off getting the Kindle version - it would have been cheaper and less frustrating.

Fantastic paleo cookbook that is great even for non-paleo people

These Well Fed books keep getting progressively better with each one. I love Well Fed 2, and Well Fed Weeknights has proven to be even more superior to that. Lots of great flavors in easy to make meals. A note on serving sizes-- she generally says that each recipe feeds 2-4 people, but I can't see how 2 people could put away half of one of these meals in one sitting unless they are really hungry. These really have more like 3-4 servings. This is a great cookbook even for people who aren't paleo. As long as you like vegetables and meat, this is a fantastic book for you.

helps you stay well fed

A great resource for yummy meals, especially when you don't have a lot of time during the week.

Streamline your healthy cooking!

I don't wax eloquent about ANYTHING related to cooking, but after deciding to take better care of myself, and after deciding that I needed to start with the way I eat, I stumbled on Melissa Joulwan's books. I've noticed that at least one reviewer has said that the author's palate was too different, but I didn't find that to be the case. My first foray into healthy eating was to follow Whole30 for a full month, and I cooked exclusively from "Well Fed," "Well Fed 2," and the Whole 30 book. I was never hungry, and I loved every single thing I prepared from Joulwan's books (except the roasted jicama, which wasn't tasty enough to warrant the time it took to make them). My husband agreed to come on the journey with me, and he loved everything, too. This 3rd in the Well Fed series is wonderful, not just because of the addition of more recipes, but because of the detailed instructions on how to eat fully home-prepped meals in far less time. Joulwan gives detailed instructions on how to do weekly pre-preparation, and how to sequence the jobs involved in cooking meals. This is as good a kitchen/cooking management book as it is a recipe book, and I'm glad to find it. Make no mistake: if you decide to take care of your health, you'll be spending more time in the kitchen, but in this book, Joulwan has outlined a great method for streamlining that time. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.
