It wasn’t like he’d never done this before...

Nicky Fender retired from sex work two years ago and never looked back. Then an offer he can’t refuse comes his way, and he agrees to one last exclusive arrangement. Good money and an apartment in Manhattan? He’d be a fool to turn that down.

The deal is dusk till dawn for two months. But once he meets Gideon—an older, quirky, autistic, filthy, uncertain businessman who wants to explore his sexuality—Nicky wishes sunrise would never come.

I am in love with this story! 5++++ Stars!!

I FREAKIN' LOVED IT!! A beautifully written romance about love, acceptance and growth, I grabbed this book because the blurb totally sucked me in (READ THE BLURB ), and I was a goner from word one. Like nothing I have read in quite some time, it is an emotional, sweet, sexy and SMOKING HOT read! Jaw dropping WHOA! The dialogue, character development and dirty talk LOL, is TOP NOTCH!! Gideon, 44 has Asperger’s and dare I say he is “shy”, sweet and alone and trying to figure out if there is more out there for him in his life. Nicky, about 10 years younger, is an easy going, incredibly caring person with a not so stellar relationship history. He is surrounded by a wonderful family and friends and works hard towards his steadfast plan for his future. They are complete opposites and together they embark on the road to discovery in the most wonderful way! They are both fabulous characters, and I fell completely in love with them and their story!

Another Gem that needs Sequels/Spinoffs

Ms. Dee never disappoints with creating characters that you want to follow with 3 or 10 books. Again, lots of humor, smokin’ hawt scenes and realistic mental health portrayal. Looking forward to other stories from this family!

So charming, and endearing, it had me SWOONING!

This story was quite simply too cute for words! Nicky and Gideon are so endearing, the push and pull, the twists and turns, and one heck of an emotional rollercoaster ride of a journey that is thoroughly worth it! The characterization is magnificent, and Nicky and Gideon are such perfect foils of one another! I adore the quirks, the mannerisms, the way they talk to one another, and how they are with one another. The secondary characters are also charming, and I cannot wait fo Anthony's story! If you're looking for a cute, feel good read with some excellent and delicious SHMEKSHAY times escapades, look no further than We Have Till Dawn by Cara Dee!

A beautiful story

Another awesome story from this author. This is a mm contemporary story set in the USA. Main characters are Nicky and Gideon. Told from Nicky’s POV. He is a retired sex worker who is called out of retirement for one last job. This job is for Gideon a man with autism and a last fling before his marriage to a women. For the two month job they fall in love and decided to work out a life together. A beautiful story.

Loved it!

I wasn't holding out much hope that this book would be better then the last few releases by Cara. But she was able to surprise me. This book is filled with everything that I love. The plot was good and easy to follow. The characters were well developed. And the entire story line was filled with a good story to get lost in. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The 🔥 that was spread throughout this book!!!

I mean wow wow wow!!! I love how out of the box this book was. And I can't wait to read more about Gideon and Nicky. The author always amazes me how she can be so fluid. Reading a love story with main character has autism and not shy away from it. Just wow. It was a sexy and actual knowledgeable read.

Book

Oh my, this book is so good - can't wait for the next one. I loved reading about these two - their love, their families, their feelings. Thank you, Cara Dee.

Love!!

I loved this story from beginning to end!!! The couple was amazing and so enjoyable to red. Can’t wait to read Anthony’s story.

Enjoyable read

I really enjoy Cara Dee’s writing. I’m not sure how I ended up with this one in my kindle but I blew right through it. I loved the dynamic of the two MC’s. How it started out as a contract and switched somewhere in between. The one MC has a form of autism and it’s nice to see that being represented in books. Its a very enjoyable book.

Amazing story! It is one that I will definitely re-read!

What an amazing story! Such an imagination!! This is a story that I will re-read. I keep checking for the next book which the author is working on. Can't wait, can't wait! I loved this story and I highly recommend it!

I Loved This Book

I enjoyed this story, I loved the characters Gideon, and Nicky. They were made for each other. The story was well written, and had a great story line.

Papito

I loved Nicky and Gideon’s story. It started as a job, but right from the start Nicky knew he wanted more from Gideon.

Loved it

This book was perfect. Sexy and romantic and fun to read. It was emotional without a lot of heavy angst. Five stars!

Gideon and Nicky are everything!

This book was so amazingly good. I absolutely loved it. I’d rate it more than five stars if I could!

Wow!!!

Wow, this story blew me away!!! Hands down one of the best m/m romances I've read to date. it's not often I'm at a loss for words but this one has me speechless, if I could give it 100 stars I would and that epilogue is everything ❤️. I can't wait to read Anthony's book!!!

Absolutely Fabulous Book!!!

Oh I fell in love so much with this story. This book has so many layers. It starts with the arrangement, and as expected it is smoking hot. But Nicky, who I loved immediately, is just not one to keep quiet and he sees something in Gideon right away and slowly starts to peel back the layers. What follows is such a wonderful story of love and acceptance. Gideon is autistic and struggles with certain aspects of life, especially when things do not go as he had planned. Nicky is amazing at being attuned to his needs, helping him feel centered and grounded, and just loving him for the wonderful man he is. They start to spend more time together, they start to understand each other more, and they start to fall in love. This book made me feel so much...I smiled, I laughed, I blushed at the down right sexiest role play scene I think I've ever read, and it just made my heart happy. It also has one of the best epilogues...checking in on the guys hours, weeks, months, and years later. Gah, just such a great book all the way around!

Uneven

I had a hard time getting into the flow of this book, and understanding the motivations and actions of the characters. The characters had different personalities depending on the scene in the book. What really turned me off was a very kinky scene in the middle of the book that seemed both out of place for the characters as they had been presented and the tone of the book. After that, I lost the flow completely. Overall, just an uneven book for me.

5 star neuro diverse MM Romance!

I am all up in my feels over We Have Till Dawn by Cara Dee. I love a story where one of the main characters has a disability and in this book Gideon is on the Autism Spectrum and self identifies as Asperger's. Cara Dee did an amazing job incorporating features of the diagnosis into the story and addressing the spectrum as a whole in an informative and appropriate way. What I love most, was that Gideon wasn't hindered by his diagnosis. No one in the book told him he couldn't do what he wanted to do. He was not defined by his diagnosis and he still experienced a wide range of emotions and fantasies that he got to act out. Nicky was the sweetest retired sex worker ever. I mean seriously, this guy is just good hearted. He cares about people, and wants to make the lives of those around him better. I can't imagine how everyone around him doesn't adore him all the time. For someone who has had his fair share of sex, I loved how Gideon gave Nicky the right brand of kink. There is no doubt about it Gideon is kinky and creative, and brave enough to explore his sexuality with Nicky. This book 100% supports my adoration of Cara Dee. She writes a book that is thoughtful, caring, romantic, creative, sexy and more than a bit kinky. This story was all around incredible, and I can't recommend it enough. I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily give my review.

I wanted to like it more...

I really really enjoy Cara Dee’s books. And I enjoyed this one, don’t get me wrong, but it felt a little...hollow. The premise is fantastic and I was intrigued from the start. Gideon being in the spectrum made me very interested in how the character would interact with Nicky. There almost seemed to be a cold sterility between them at first, which I think was the point. They certainly did warm up to one another and create a dynamic that was nice to read. I liked that we got an epilogue that showed us how things were several years down the road. These two did make a very cute couple. Gideon was sexy and filthy in the bedroom and I loved that. Cara definitely knows how to write a good steamy scene for her MCs. But that’s also where my beef comes in here. We have Gideon, who, to our knowledge, has never been with a man before, and the first time Nicky and Gideon get it on is off page?! What? I felt so deprived of that. There seemed to be many gaps when it came to Nicky and Gideon’s time together. The book seemed to jump a little bit here and there in the timeline and I felt it could have been fleshed out a little bit better. Overall, I liked the book. I’m definitely glad I read it and I will absolutely read Anthony’s story. I just wish there was a little more substance for Nicky and Gideon.

Not complete wout Gideon's POV + kink warning

Gideon's POV was a must for this book. Without it there were too many questions with no answers: why it took Gideon 44 years to decide to explore his sexuality? And how at the same he managed to be such a confident and good lover to Nick almost from the start? What his life before Nick looked like? It felt like a big part of the book was missing. Nick's POV was also lacking, especially in sex department. There was very little on page sex considering MCs met for one. It also didn't make sense that everyone seemed to know about Nick's past as a sex worker. I liked both Nick and Gideon (as Nick saw him) and enjoyed the book more towards the end. The epilogue was really good. Kink warning: there is dad/son role play scene. Came out of the blue and, IMO, didn't fit the characters and the plot. Skipped but an advanced warning would be handy.

Extraordinary story Highly recommended

Oh, my freaking goodness this story is everything!! I’m not sure where to begin and where to end, it was everything. Nick is a retired sex worker and accepted a job again because it’s special and it pays exorbitant. He has an apartment to move in and will be available from ten PM and six AM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays... blinded, curtains closed, for a man named Gideon. This for the next two months. Gideon is older, autistic, and wants to explore his sexuality. Gideon has planned his life, he will marry a wife and get children. But first, two months with Nick. Only Gideon is more than Nick ever expected, he’s hypersexual, an exhibitionist, and kind and special. Nick is head over heels. Nick is special too, he runs a music academy together with his brother. Nick is romantic, a caregiver, with hopes for something special with someone special. We can follow them, their arousing sexual encounters, their conversations, their struggles, and how they grow closer. An extremely lovable story, with love, romance, music, food, family, and thank goodness making the right choices! It was hot AF, sweet AF, and emotional AF. Written in the best way, I never expected anything else from this author. The epilogue gosh that was swooning. The best I could think of, it had precisely everything I wanted for a book to end. So incredibly satisfying. The best! The very, very best! High praise for this story, it's extraordinary!

A wonderful m/m romance with a neurodiverse lead!

This story was captivating from beginning to end! I really enjoyed the connection between Nicky and Gideon. Their arrangement was intriguing and led to so many great conversations, experiences and scenes. Gideon’s autistic diagnosis made for a unique reading journey, especially in a m/m romance. I felt that the author did a good job of writing a character with authentic traits and experiences. The compassion and empathy that Nicky showed was some of the most heart felt writing I’ve encountered in a while. I adored his protective and nurturing behaviors over Gideon and how Gideon was able to come out of his heavily guarded safe place a few times. The bedroom scenes were intense!!!! I cannot wait to read Anthony’s book, as I felt he was such an important part of this couple’s story. Only issue I had with the book was that it felt like the author couldn’t 100% decide on Nicky’s character. He vacillated between the Italian, Irish and New Yorker characteristics too much. The usage of some foreign terms like Madonn’ became excessive and lost their appeal. I feel like his character could have been flushed out more.

sweet, sexy, and delightfully unexpected

This author wrote my favorite book of 2020, so I did not hesitate to dive into her latest release. The premise of this book hinges on sex work, so this book will not appeal to readers who take issue with that particular profession. Nicky has been retired from that life for a few years, making him perfect for a specific client’s needs. Gideon has caved under his family’s expectations but wants the opportunity to explore his sexuality and needs before he marries. Despite the obvious assumption, this book is not 24-7 sexiness. Instead, it’s a lovely tale of two people, who don’t seem compatible on the outside, growing closer together outside of the purely physical. Because this book is a romance, it was easy to see the expected outcome from a mile away. However, the journey Dee leads readers on to get to that point is nothing like what I anticipated. In addition, most books with a kink-themed beginning involve characters who get more comfortable in that world. As Nicky helps Gideon realize what he truly needs, that almost the opposite happens here is a humorous and sweet take on the typical dynamic. As usual, Dee also does a fantastic job creating the world at large; in this case, it includes Nicky’s extended family and the music he loves. It was so easy to fall into Nicky’s head and appreciate the care he has for his family and chosen career. While this romance has plenty of heat and feels, I also enjoyed that the cracks in Gideon’s carefully developed plan begin to show in how he cares for Nicky and slowly becomes part of his life, rather than Nicky having to hide Gideon from those closest to him. This book works very well as a stand-alone, but I look forward to revisiting this world in the promised sequel featuring Nicky’s brother.

Mostly great, but with a kink scene that didn't seem to fit either character - but, it has heart.

This, despite the blurb, doesn't have tons of on-page sex that I was expecting, and I'm glad for that, as it didn't detract from the storyline. I think, though, that the premise of the tale didn't actually fit the character of Gideon that well, as though we get told he has Asperger's, it doesn't really manifest itself much other than in the way he sets out the rules and starts to enforce them, before he allows Nicky to change them. I'm not complaining that he wasn't overly rigid in his ways, but it felt as if a lead with Asperger's was getting bigged up and then got toned down into something more acceptable - he basically got turned into a Dom. I think I'd have liked to learn more about him and how he deals, because he likely would have excelled at his role and yet we heard nothing about his job. I did like that his little dog was his service animal of sorts, and that both needed the other. The fact that all and sundry seemed to know and totally take it in their stride that Nicky had been a sex worker, felt a little anticlimactic and lacking in angst. Not that I'd have wanted anyone to hate him or shame him or give him a hard time, but it felt like that was equated with him being the part-time barista and server that he was. There was no real explanation of why he'd been a sex worker - no huge angsty reveal, no trauma, no hards times, and yeah, no explanation, though I was prepared to gloss over that given how much I fell into the tale. I loved the guys together and I loved Nicky's nurturing side. I did feel that when their relationship started to change into one with emotions and becoming part of each other's real life, there needed to be far more talk than there was. It felt as if the author didn't want to go there with frank talk - a la Pretty Woman - and just let them both admit their feelings to themselves and start to plan ahead for them as a possible couple, without talking to each other, and yet when an ultimatum was given by Nicky, it seemed they'd both been on the same page. There wasn't even any drama with the fiancee, who made a sharp entrance and exit over a couple of pages, never to be heard of again. There was a voyeuristic sex scene in this that didn't at all seem to mesh with what I was reading of the leads, especially the repressed Gideon, and tbh, it was a page skimmer, not a page turner. It just felt too faux for Gideon, i.e. someone who hadn't even had a relationship with a guy before - and yes, other parts of their relationship/sex life felt equally faux for the same reasons. Much of the sex seemed to be comfort for both guys, and there was mild kink and a lot of it took place off screen, which I'm not complaining about. I did like the epilogue which we got to see over a longish period of time - a few hours later, then a few months later and finally years down the line. Yes, Gideon's money made their life easier but it was a sweet one and it was a bit of a fairy tale, but not the whole Bollywood shebang, which I'm glad about. No doubt there'll be more of them, as there's mention that Nicky's brother Anthony, himself an older gay guy, gets a tale of his own - that's one to read, as he came across as a really sweet guy but also one who never made waves and might have been a bit of a doormat in the relationship stakes. I'm hoping for a turnaround for him, and someone who wants to look after him for a change.

Asperger's, music, and hot sexy times

The book is told mostly from Nicky’s POV. Gideon has Asperger’s and so it would have been better if more of this book included more of his POV as well. Nicky is familiar with Asperger’s and is instrumental in helping Gideon work through some of his relationship and relational issues. The author presents the issues and challenges of Asperger’s almost too subtly – so much so that the reader can easily lose sight of how the interactions between Gideon and Nicky are impacted by the symptoms of this disease process. But it’s something to keep in mind in order to better understand how Gideon relates with Nicky. The book starts with an insta-sexy time and a middle of the road paced development of a relationship and then continued steamy sexy times make up most of the book’s action and plot. Supposedly Gideon is exploring his gay side for the first time at 44 years before he marries his female fiancé. But Gideon comes across as an experienced man right from the start. Nicky is 30ish and a former escort and a guitarist in a band. The author did a great job describing the frequent band sessions and practices – it sounds like it was written from the heart of someone who loves music and playing an instrument . Typical of this author is some really hot steamy sexy times. There should be some kind of tip-off that the two men get into a Daddy/boy-Father/son role play around the middle of the book. I’m not personally into this kink but found the whole scene that took place in an adult toy store hilarious. The dynamics of the relationship change at about 62% when both men admit that there is more between them that just Gideon exploring his gay side. Gideon finally comes clean with his fiancé and Nicky at around 82% that he just wants to be with Nicky. His ability to process all this is presented within the challenges of having Asperger’s and really comes across with the emotion and challenges of this. From that point, Nicky and Gideon begin they journey as a committed couple and find their HEA.

We have till dawn

Starting out, we are joining Nicky in his point of view in this story. He’s meeting with his former boss who is asking him to return to the trade he left two years ago for a two month stint. Currently living with his brother, and working 3 jobs, Nicky takes the job so he can help his brother expand his business. Given the first chapter has his name at the start, I thought each chapter would alternate POV. I was wrong, and it was maddening, and then towards the end of chapter 3, I got it. It strengthens the connection between reader and character. I was left as bewildered and frustrated as Nicky, trying to figure out this sexy, confident-yet-shy man, Gideon. After that, we get to know Gideon bit by bit, and go on a steaming hot journey. Gideon wants to explore these “urges” he’s had to be with a man, and with some guidance from Nicky, he learns that sometimes, we can’t stay in our comfort zones; and that sometimes, the best things happen when we don’t. I read this book in one sitting, and was enamored but the dynamic between these two. Low angst, high and slightly kinky heat, and lots of gooey feel good moments. I have yet to read a book by Cara that I didn’t love, and it still holds true after this.

Absolutely brilliant.

There are a lot of descriptors I have come to associate when considering Cara Dee's work; emotional, hot, kinky, angst-filled, brilliant, stunning, epic. At some point, you would think that this author couldn't surprise me, but yet again I have been proven wrong. From the blurb, we already know that two men meet with an arrangement secured through sex work—an enticing offer of money for a struggling Nicky. The books kick off with a bit of mystery and plenty of heat and suddenly transforms into an emotional journey for Nicky and Gideon. I love how this book explored the boundaries and expectations of those people society marks as "other than normal". We Have Till Dawn challenges the expectations of the reader as it provides insights to a man living with Asperger's who is challenging his own normal while exploring with Nicky. This one contains far less angst than other Cara Dee works, but is no less poignant. It is likely one that I will be adding to my reread list. 5/5 stars

It was ok

This is supposed to be a romance, about an autistic guy and an escort falling in love. I think I’ll be the “Debbie Downer” here and say it reads more like an escort found an opportunity to get out of poverty and grabbed it with everything he got. I feel like every time Nick is talking to Gideon, he is just telling him what he wants to hear. Whilst Gideon was spending two month of exploring his sexuality, Nick was using that 2 month to play a long game in convincing the billionaire to date him for real. Although, during the epilogue, he sounded genuinely in love with his little family. Don’t get me wrong, I feel like Gideon is way happier with Nicky in his life, than he would have been with anyone else. So I guess it’s a win win situation. Another issue I had with the story, was a kink scene that came out of no where. It didn’t fit either characters at all, and it left me quite baffled. Apart from that, I enjoyed the story very much. The characters were fun and the sexy times were scotching hot.

Sweet couple and interesting premise

Low angst story of 2 men that connected so well. They met under a sex worker contract...with Gideon the wealthy older autistic man initially demanding impersonal silent sex in the dark from 27 year old Nicky a fun but sensitive man. Well the impersonal arrangement did not work long for Nicky or Gideon so they quickly moved to truly exploring and getting to know each other. Nicky is about family and is exuberant compared to Gideon who needs control and order. Surprisingly there is not a ton of descriptive sex in this book...sex is referred to and the basis for nearly every encounter but a lot happens off page...There is one heavy sex scene in the middle that's quite creative and even feels a bit taboo...but I guess that was the intent. Music plays a big role in this read with next in series about Anthony, Nicky's brother and takes place in Nashville during a music festival. I'm wondering if he has a throuple with married chefs in his future?

Surprised but Satisfied!

I will definitely read another book by this author, gotta go like her page too. Hmm! How to rate this? I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars. Did I like it, yes? Did I love it, not necessarily, but I feel like I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. This story needs a star for one scene in particular. Sex shop! Omg! It was freaking hilarious and awkward and HOT AF! This book was actually refreshingly unique, for me anyway. I haven't read many books with the hero being autistic. The beginning was secretive and weirdly sexy. Both males being quite different, the author wrote them seamlessly to fit perfectly. After writing all this, I've figured out my rating. I really like this one. It was different, not much as far as drama or angst. Sweet, sexy and satisfying! I smiled, laughed, and oddly enough got turned on. 🤣 If you like unconventional, gay romances, I'd definitely recommend.

OMG I loved this

OMG I loved this book and didn't want it to end, I even stopped reading at points to make it last longer. I know it doesn't make sense. Nicky is a "retired" sex worker that is asked to take 1 last client 2 years after he retired. Gideon is a autistic man who wants to 'explore' before he gets married. The arrangement is supposed to be for 2 months and very impersonal. That doesn't last long, soon Nicky is needing a little more of the personal touch, and to feel less like a sex doll. This forces Gideon to reevaluate the arrangement, and eventually they start doing more and more personal activities and not just sex. It was enjoyable to watch the relationship progress and to see Nicky and Gideon separately grow into the people they want to be. This is a couple I can't wait to see make appearances in future stories. (because you know they will) I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I couldn't put it down

I had no expectations when I received this book. Besides the title, I knew nothing about it, not even the synopsis or which category it belonged to. All I knew was that Cara Dee wrote it, and that was enough for me. Nicky Fender comes out of retirement when he accepts a two-month position (pun intended) as a rich man's anonymous plaything. Gideon, set to enter a marriage of convenience makes a promise to his fiancee, to "get it out of his system" before the wedding. The rules are simple, Nicky isn't allowed to touch, to look, or to make a sound. The man isn’t doesn’t want to know anything personal at all, he just wants to get in and out, no muss, no fuss. Of course, plans never go the way they’re meant to. It’s light on the angst, but it’s still there. It’s also sweet, funny, super sexy, and musically gifted. There’s cursing in Italian and busy Sundays, but family dinners and ice creams. The scene in West Village is, without question, one of the sexiest I have ever read, and this book snuck up on me and made it all the way to my top ten of all time. I recommend everyone to read this, it’s worth it.

Not your run of the mill m/m romance

I really liked that this book was different with a fresh kind of view about 2 men who should not have been compatible in any way but who just worked. I did have somewhat of a problem with some of the details though. Gideon was a high functioning 44 yr. old autistic man who supposedly had ever been with a man. Yet he jumped into the sex without an questions and was supposedly a ‘god’ at it right off the bat. Sorry but that would not be believable with any man, let alone one with so many insecurities who is chained to everything being in his comfort zone. Also, there was insufficient background on Gideon’s work and how he managed to sufficiently function as a business mogul. Nicky balanced Gideon’s tightly wound character well with his free and easy personality. All in all I enjoyed it a lot. The writing was done well and the editing was good.

Best laid plans...

Nicky comes out of retirement to take a job that will help him meet his goal to own a business with his brother. That was the plan. It most definitely wasn't the plan to fall in love. Gideon has a diagnosis that puts him on the autism spectrum. It shows up in the way Gideon tries to live his life and it makes for some sweet moments. I couldn't put this story down. It was intriguing, sensual, funny, and it made me smile. Then there's that one roleplay scene - all I can say is: so friggin' hot. Nicky and Gideon work together. There's a couple scenes where one of the characters has a panic attack - it wasn't overdone & it was realistic. The interaction & feeling between the two of them really grows with how it's handled. Honestly, I loved everything about everything in this book. Hopefully we'll see more from the secondary characters in this book - especially Nicky's brother.

So happy I gave this a try

4+ 🔥🌟 Initially I put this book on my Not-For-Me list after reading an MC has autism. But then I saw a couple of reviewers talking about the hot chemistry and sex between the couple so I gave it a try. The passionate connection between the MC’s is really special. I loved the family dynamics as well. This is a no angst sexy read. It would have been a 5 star read for me but the NYC Italian American accent was degrading and inconsistent. I love Cara Dee’s work and I was surprised this was included. As an Italian American born & raised in NY myself I liken it to a characterization that non-NY’rs grasp while watching My Cousin Vinny. While I’d love to read Anthony’s story I might pass it up if it’s more of the dumbed down NY Guido BS. Also NY’rs never ever say Manhattan. It’s “the city”, always.

Loved it !

Nic was an escort/sex worker two years ago, but the shine wore off, and he has since taken on many jobs at once to pay his bills. But the agency he once worked for has called him in for one last job. Two months service for a man exploring his sexuality and whole lot of cash. Gideon is autistic, he needs things a certain way. He wants to explore a man completely and supposedly "get it out of his system" before he is to wed his (female) fiancée. Nic and Gideon meet. Gideon has rules. Nic is not one to follow them and he breaks his own rules as well. Nic falls for Gideon. Gideon and Nic are great together. But Gideon is still set to marry and Nic will get his heart broken. Such a good story. I loved how Nic made Gideon stretch his boundaries.

Passionate, sweet, and emotional

Cara Dee delivered on all the feels. There were plenty of hot scenes, but more than that it had heart. I couldn’t put it down once I started and I’ve already reread it. Part of what makes the author so special is the way she develops characters. The chemistry between the two main characters was amazing, but more than that the author truly put time into developing them individually and together. Their relationship is as unique as they are. The world building is beautiful and incredibly intricate. It was captivating and emotionally impactful. Every moment of this book is special. The only bad part was the fact it had to end. I can’t wait for more from this world. 5 stars for a passionate, sweet, and emotional read.

Cara Dee’s books make me feel things

All the things. I KNOW when I start one of her books, I’m going to be sad and angry and uncomfortable and horny and stupidly stupidly happy. I absolutely 100% did not see this book coming. It was so impossibly sweet and sexy and DIFFERENT. This genre is overflowing with the same story told by different people. That has NEVER happened when I’ve read a Cara Dee book, but this one stands above them all. It’s perfection comes with its simplicity, and that’s exactly what Gideon and Nicky are. They may not make sense to the outside world but to each other they fit. It’s simplistic in the ease with how they accept and understand each other. If you expect the typical high angst of Cara’s books, this one doesn’t have it. And it’s positively refreshing.

Cara kink with a lot of love!!

Nicky and Gideon are from opposite worlds but each have something the other needs. When they get together not only do they get that need meet but it ended up turning into so much more. Of course you get that Cara kink you know and love but this book also deals with love and emotions that everyone feels or wants to feel. I fell so in love with Nicky and Gideon, their story felt so real with real world issues. Gideon struggled and wasn't sure if this at times but Nicky calmed him and gives him peace which he craves and in turn Gideon gives Nicky someone to love someone to cherish and dote on. Nicky needs to care and Gideon is the perfect person for that and the end to this book is so perfect I just can't!!!

Peeling back his layers

With Nicky being in retirement from the entertainment industry, he can’t help but take it up again when an all too tempting offer comes his way as it means life could change for him and his loved ones. Gideon with his lists of demands, intrigues Nicky from the get go and as he slowly peels back the layers to Gideon, he begins to love the the man he comes to understand. This book is so realistic at times, one can’t help fall in love with it characters. There’s a bit of kink, well developed main characters, entertaining supporting characters and a storyline that is captivating. An enjoyable read with a super sweet epilogue to tie it all together. I voluntarily received an arc of this book.

So, so good

I have read one other Cara Dee book and thought it was good, but until I read this book, it blew my thoughts out of the water about this author and their writing. First off, I could feel the torment in Gideon with being on the spectrum and having boundaries. It definitely felt more authentic then I have read in other books. I liked Nicky as a person, his struggles with life, his positivity in general, etc. I loved how he wanted to move slowly to help push Gideon to explore himself. And oh, wow. Gideon and his take charge attitude was SO HOT. And the sexy times??? I swear steam was coming off of my Kindle and I had to fan myself. There was one time they were in a sex store and . . . let me tell you, it is one of my favorite scenes written so far. The only downfall for me? I wish there was a little more daddy/boy to it. Not hard core, but what I call "light" daddy/boy play earlier in the storyline. But overall, this was an incredible book and I highly suggest it. I am off to read more of Cara Dee's works.

P.S. That West Village Scene....I am still sweating...

Two months, an unbelievable amount of money, nights filled with passion so hot that it could set cities ablaze, what could go wrong? Nicky is a retired sex worker who comes out of retirement for a two-month contract in hopes of being able to invest in his brother’s music school with a sizable pay-day. The contract is with Gideon, a wealthy businessman whose fianceé has set up this arrangement before entering into marriage. The terms should be easy to follow, no touching, no looking, no making any sounds. Or...they should be easy… Between contract adjustments, loud-loving, Italian families, and beautiful music, Nicky and Gideon learn that sometimes in the silent hours of the night, the most blissful dreams arise. Nicky and Gideon. Wow. I am utterly speechless. There are very few authors who can write a character that is not neurotypical and still generate an authentic, meaningful, true relationship. However, Cara Dee went above and beyond with this book.

I love when authors teach me new things. Cara thank you.

I know this love story was improbable but I loved it anyway. I hate stories where the protagonists not only have issues but are intentionally mean or cruel to the other. Especially if the author justifies that behavior. Gideon has aspergers but is very well off and about to be engaged. But as a prelude to that engagement, He decides to hire Nicolo (Nicky) to explore his attraction to men. Of course Nicky becomes addicted and eventually enamored. The hot sex doesn’t hurt either. That entire adult store scene was EVERYTHING! I would highly recommend this book because it gave me some insight into men being caretakers and even understanding occasional asexuality.

3-ish stars

Enjoyable, but nothing special. That blurb was way too good to be honest, and what’s inside the book doesn’t quite deliver. There was not much of angst, or yearning. I felt like the obstacles the heroes faced were too small; everything got resolved too quickly. This story had a lot of potential, though, which was sad. Also, a side note, but something that just irked me whilst reading was the way the hero would use the words papito, bambino, papi and hon as endearments. The hero is irish-italian, so the use of spanish words was so out of place, like, where the hell is this coming from? Also, the words ’hon’ is so un-sexy that it turned me off. But anyways, this is a light-hearted, semi enjoyable MM romance! **I received an arc in exchange for an honest review

Love This Story

It is so refreshing to come across a storyline that is different and unique. Nicky and Gideon make an unusual pair but they were the sweetest couple to read. I admired the way Cara wrote this story it could have been quite sensational and it's not that Nicky's profession is glossed over but the focus is on how they deal with all these new feelings and emotions. You will come to realise how very special Gideon is and like Nicky I felt the same protective instincts. The writing makes it easy to get swept up in all the emotions of the story and also feel the deeply passionate love story that develops.

Absolute Perfection.

I'm not sure I can put into words how absolutely exceptional this book is. I love Gideon so much. So. Much. He's sweet when he's nervous or overwhelmed, but he's dominant when sure of himself, and watching him switch between the two with Nicky's assistance was beautiful. The book was relatively low-angst, but there was so much emotion, I feel like I'm overflowing with it. There's just so much to love about these two men...they complete each other in the absolute best way. I really can't get enough of their love - accepting and pushing boundaries, encouraging personal strength and growth, exploration in a safe place with full trust. And it is so hot, but in a way that adds to Nicky and Gideon's relationship and discovery and growth, instead of becoming their relationship. Really. This does no justice to the absolute perfection that is this book. Well done, Cara Dee.

Lovely sweet romance

Four nights a week for two months, an apartment, and a pile of money. All Nicky has to do is be someone’s experiment. Terms are a little odd. Blindfold required, blackout curtains, and no talking. Piece of cake, right? Not so much. A nice story about one man not getting what he wants but exactly what he needs. The other thinks he’s getting what he wants till it’s not enough. I have read almost everything this author has written. No darkness here and hardly any angst. Just a sweet, lovely romance with a particularly steamy scene that will blow the readers socks off. Prepare to read this book in one sitting.

Unlikely pairing

I am a long time fan of this author and she continues to produce unique characters and relationships with heat. I like stories with characters not usually represented in today’s media and this MC didn’t disappoint. The heat between the two MC was scorching hot from the beginning but it didn’t overshadow the MCs reality of living with autism. I was drawn into the story from the beginning and could not put it down. You won’t be disappointed with this read I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Phenomenal

This book was a fantastic read, everything I have come to expect from Cara Dee and more. Perfect combination of funny, heat, compassion, and caring. The storyline of a main character being autistic was told with care and consideration, very believable and well done. It was a very important part of the story but the developing feelings between the main characters was still the focus. I fell for these two as a couple. Also the supporting characters were great. The familial bonds were wonderful. I am looking forward to the next in the series.

Understanding the heart....

I read We Have Till Monday first not realizing it was kind of book 2. The minute I finished that book I started this one. I needed to learn more about Nicky and Gideon. Nicky return to his previous occupation as a favor to his old boss. In doing this he meets Gideon. Someone who needs Nicky's help in finding out about his true self. There is an end date to this experiment but can the two of them let go and return to their normal life? Loved how strong both of these men are. And what they can accomplish when working together!

Ugh

It's rare that I give a one star especially if it is my favorite author but this was a complete miss. From the language to the fast paced insta love I had to quit. For real, who says "nice set of peepers"

Absolutely perfect!

I adored this book! Nicky and Gideon were amazing together. I had some hesitation going into this book because I’ve read some really good books with characters who are on the spectrum and some that were really bad. It takes a special balance to make them someone the reader is able to connect with emotionally verses them being too distant and closed off, while still being true to their condition. Gideon had the perfect balance and his chemistry with Nicky was off the page! I couldn’t put this book down. I give it lots of stars!!!

Amazing!

Oh my God. I’m in love with Gideon and Nicky! There were so many mixed reviews about this one, I’m glad I ignored them and read this. I don’t pretend to know much about autism and it’s spectrums but this didn’t raise any flags for me. Seeing Gideon change while he was with Nicky was absolutely beautiful. And Nicky taking care of Gid was simply heartwarming. I need Anthony’s book something FIERCE! Also, BEST epilogue EVER! Loved it! Plus, it’s Cara, the hotness factor was through the roof! HOT HOT HOT

An Unusual Hookup!

Autistic Gideon’s fiancé setup a temporary liaison with sex worker/musician Nicky but nothing goes as planned. This is an unusual, sweet, sexy, romantic story. I loved the way Nicky interacted with Gideon with such sensitivity and warmth. However, there are parts and pieces that confused me. Such as the odd friendship between Chris, Ruby and Nicky. Plus, how causal the conversation is around Nicky as a sex worker, again odd. Lastly, the boy/dad scene seemed extraneous to the overall story. Still, a good read.

Incest Roll Play - Disgusting

I was enjoying this book until the two characters decided to role play as actual father and son in a sex store. I stopped reading at that point - won’t be reading the author again. Molestation is never ok, role playing or not.

A perfect match

Nicky and Gideon have a temporary arrangement that is mutually beneficial....but it quickly becomes clear that there is more to their meetings than what they both thought. Rules get broken and boundaries get pushed, but neither man wants to stop. I totally fell in love with these characters. Nicky was full of compassion and a genuinely good person. Gideon was strong yet vulnerable in certain situations. The connection between these two was endearing and incredibly HOT!

Sexy Pretty Woman interpretation

A retired escort takes a 2 month job as an exclusive lover for a closeted man, exploring his sexuality at the behest of his fiancee. At first they follow a strict script, but as they continue it becomes more real. Nicky is from a loud loving Italian Irish family, and Gideon is a rich WASP on the spectrum, which is why he originally wanted all the rules. Hot and sexy, also sweet, I've no idea if the autism rep is accurate, but it seems respectful.

Loved!

I must have forgotten how much I enjoyed Cara Dee's writing but this book certainly reminded me of that fact! I completely loved everything about this and cannot point out anything I didn't like. Both characters were unique and tugged at your heart strings, they had crazy chemistry in and out of the bedroom and the secondary characters made the already good story even better. I see Anthony's book is next and I simply cannot wait!

Great premise. I love this book ♥️♥️

I was as a bit nervous this book would not end the way I wanted but rest assured it ended better than I could have hoped! In the beginning, Gideon and Nick had a connection but Gideon tried to control their interactions. Due to sheer will, Nick gives Gideon what he doesn’t even know he needs. This book is hot and sexy. I loved everything about it. Tender and sweet too. It had everything. Love!

Nicky & Gideon find love

I love Cara’s M/F couples and usually don’t read M/M ones, however there is just something about Nicky with Gideon. The fact that he read up more on autism even though he has been around those with it shows how committed he was to the situation even if it was only supposed to be temporary. When Gideon opened up more to Nicky it showed how much trust he had in him. They got their happy ending and that is all that

So cute

This book was precious. After reading some of Cara’s other works, I expected something completely different, but I absolutely loved this. I’ve never read anyone like Gideon before and I’m so proud of all the research Cara clearly took time to do. My only wish was that the earlier steamy scenes weren’t fade to black, but I see why she wrote it that way. I’m just a little greedy when it comes to that part. Haha

Loved it!

This is a new author for me so I checked out the reviews prior to reading. They were spot on. This was such an enjoyable read for me! I loved Nick and Gideon! For the first time Gideon found someone that cared enough to really see him and give him what he needed. I also loved the interactions with Nick’s family and friends. This book really captured my heart and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

A truly lovely book!

The word that comes to mind when trying to describe this book is lovely! Everything about it is absolutely lovely from the main characters, Nicky and Gideon, to all the various side characters, to the storyline itself. It’s sweet, sexy, and adorably kinky. It’s also funny. The scene in the adult bookstore made me laugh so hard I had tears in my eyes. I’m very much looking forward to Anthony’s book!

Loved it!

This was such a beautiful love story with characters who felt as real to me as my very own neighbors. Cara Dee’s writing is fantastic and complex and nuanced. I was intrigued by Nicky and Gideon from the first chapter, but downright adored them by the end. This wasn’t your typical romance, yet it was everything I could have hoped for in a love story. I can’t wait for Anthony’s story next.

Nailed it....no really great book

This book gives you all the feels and takes you on the emotional ride...before I started...I was thinking ...pretty woman...the male version..but it got so.many good recommendations in my reading group..I decided to give it a try and I was glad that I did because you know what they say about assumptions...and I really would have missed out...cant wait to see what is next in the series.

Loved it!

This book was so surprising! I don't know what I thought it was going to be about but it was not...it was so much better. Gideon and Nicky were meant to be together from the beginning. I felt that no matter how they met, they were going to be good for each other. Nicky was a little rough around the edges, but he was so patient and understanding of Gideon. I loved this book!

Very sweet, with interesting characters

This was so sweet, I loved these two. The younger former escort is a doll who is naturally inclined to take care of people. And I just adored Gideon, who is older and has found his own ways to deal with his fairly high functioning (but still very present) autism. Low angst, but with a bit of realistic tension, totally sweet, and definitely feel good. I read this one fast.

This is a hot one, wear your oven mitts!

OMG this one is super, duper, flaming HOT but also beyond lovable and oh so sweet. But the store was just too much to handle and I loved it, every single word of it. Gideon and Nicky are absolutely sigh-worthy and wonderful together, I've never wanted a couple to work out as much as I did with these two and I'm so glad their HEA happened. A must read!

Just loved it so much!!

This one is about Nicky who is prostitute that comes out retirement for a special job. He meets his client Gideon for this 2 months job. They have major chemistry from the beginning. They break all the rules on this agreement for this job. I won't spoil it. It's sweet and Hot! You will love the characters. Really loved this one!!

Well....

I don't know about this one. The characters didn't make total sense. Or maybe they needed more explanation and fleshing out. The random kink didn't seem necessary. The writing was fair. The story predictable... I believe this is my first exposure to this author. I wasn't too impressed but I will try another book.

amazing

omg this was so much more then i went into thinking it would be.. the emotions were everywhere.. the personalities were amazing and it was all around a total heartwrenching emotional rollercoaster of amazingness. i loved it.. the characters are sooo hott.. the writing is so real and raw. and everything flowed beautifully. amazing

Awesome, sexy

It’s been a minute since I’ve read a book by Cara Dee and I’m so glad I rectified that with We Have Till Dawn. Lovely romance between a former sex worker turned musician and an older man with autism. Their chemistry is fire. And I promptly borrowed three more of her books from Kindle Unlimited. :)

Truly adored this!

Not to copy another reviewer, but I FREAKIN' LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!! Nicky and Gideon were perfection. Cara Dee did a wonderful job with these character's and I am just here to say-if you haven't read this one yet and are on the fence for whatever reason, hesitate no more! You will not regret this one, not one bit!!!!

Nic & Gideon💕

Cara Dee does it again! Really well done story with interesting characters, low angst, and lots of feels. Nic and Gideon were lovely and I can’t wait for Anthony’s story. I also appreciated how ASD was represented here. Well done. This author is auto but for me and never disappoints.

Love on the spectrum, unconventionally perfect!

Nicky and Gideon... two complete opposites but their chemistry is explosive. Cara writes her characters so well and in this book she brings light to love on the spectrum. Gideon lives his life in controlled measure, Nicky loves life and is charismatic, but he knows how to approach Gideon and draw him out. What starts as a bit unconventional, evolves into a beautifully imperfect, perfect love story. Cannot wait for more from these characters.

A Sweet, Endearing Love Story

I enjoyed this book about love, acceptance and growth. I liked seeing the connection between Gideon and Nicky grow. I also enjoyed how the author broke down the epilogues. I was not ready for the story to end. So glad that Anthony is getting his story in the near future.

Gideon n Nicky

Oh wow Gideon and Nicky. Their story just woah! It is so well written, gritty but sweet with an overwhelming sense of I belong here with this person, relief and happiness! I wanted to keep reading their story and continue almost feeling like I got warm hugs from Nicky's family!

Good story. How it was introduced was perfect.

The way these two were brought together was a different way than what I have read in the past. Retired sex worker. An older man who was somewhat autistic. How they provided each other with what each needed. This one had a couple of different kinks as well. Cute story.

We Have till Dawn

Great read. It’s a story of a sex worker who is hired to help an autistic man discover his sexuality. He pays a sex worker an apartment and a size-able weekly pay to basically have his way with. Feelings happen, boundaries are crossed, there was a daddy play scene as well. Would recommend. Wish it was longer and wish it had a dual POV instead of just Nicks.

Beautiful!

I loved, loved loved this new one from Cara Dee! I've never read anything by her that I didnt like but this is probably my favorite. I fell in love with these characters and they made me laugh and pulled at my heartstrings both. I cannot wait for the next book in the series!

So cute, so sweet

I love reading stories about those who are neuroduverse, and the author did a party good job with Gideon's character. He so endearing, you'll want to hug him. And Nicky us a great character too; you'll really like him. Good story. Definitely read

Big thumbs up!

I really enjoyed how this relationship unfolded and both of the MC’s personalities. There was chemistry and a lovely feeling of how they complemented each other as they got to know each other, so that you were rooting for them by the end. It had some really hot scenes too! 😻

Refreshingly different

I don't think I have ever read anything quite like this book, and I mean that in the very best way. I was invested in these characters from the first page and loved the way the story progressed. It's sexy and sweet and heartwarming. Loved it!

Just...WOW

This is one of my favorite books this year. I was IN their hearts. Beautiful and sexy, and I just LOVE the family relationships, and the depth of the characters. Great read, happy ending, and just all the feels for this book.

Loved this book!!!

I’ve been a fan of Cara’s books for a long time and this one did not disappoint! I loved these two so much! If you’re looking for a sweet MM read with the perfect amount dirty sexy times then this is the book for you!

Gideon & Nicky

Such a wonderful story but then Cara Dee never lets you down. Watching this relationship grow between these two very different but needy people was wonderful. Nicky had such patience with Gideon. Gideon’s trust in Nicky had me tearing up.

Stumbled onto this book.

I came across this story when surfing books at Amazon. Always enjoy this authors stories. Have read several of them. This book pulled me in with Gideon having Aspergers. Recommend this story and author to you.

Delightful

I so thoroughly enjoyed Gideon's & Nicky's story, not quite the normal storyline. I also appreciated the care given to showing how Gideon's aspergers played into their storyline. I could not put this down, new fan!

First time read by this author

Enjoyed reading this author for the first time. Would have liked to know a little bit more about the second hero in this romance. I feel as if we know next to nothing about Gideon. Looking forward to the next in this series.

Loved!

I absolutely loved this story. I like how it wasn’t rushed. The emotions were explained and made perfect sense. I despise love at first sight stories. This book gave me everything I was looking for.

Love Nicky and Gideon

I love the level of detail Cara puts into characters. This is a wonderful story. Love goes they go together and hoe they worked through everything. I'm excited to read about the other characters as well.

Let the book hangover commence

This was so wholesome!!! Sweet, funny, dirty, comforting. Nicky and Hudson's story had everything. And even when I was wondering about the epilogue, Cara delivered with 3-4 absolutely HEA fulfilling time skips.

Great book

I love having a character on the autism spectrum. Seeing him succeed in a happy relationship, and managing his challenges, and bringing joy through his unique qualities is refreshing.

Hot and sweet - Cara’s specialty!

Highly, highly recommend! Another masterpiece from Cara, with scorching hot scenes and all the romance. I can’t wait for the next book, especially if what I think she hinted at happens. Fingers crossed!

Love all Cara Dee

I love this book. I love Nicky and Gideon. Cara Dee writes incredible characters and stories. I loved Gideon's dominance and Nicky's nurturing. I am excited to read Anthony's story

Loved It

Th characters and their chemistry was off the charts. But, their love story made the story perfect, Gideon was perfectly written and Nicky was his match. Definite must read.

Billionaire romance

I absolutely loved Nicky and Gideon. I read it in one sitting. I wish it was a longer book. Nicky and Gideon gave me all the feels. Talk about hot too!! This book has it all.

We have till dawn

I like the book! The characters have a great chemistry and are super sweet and naughty. Cara Dee’s books are always well written and addictive I can stop reading this one!

Not long enough

I love this book so much. You really understand how Gideon struggles and can feel it in the writing. I love that from dusk to dawn wasn’t long enough for this couple

Very enjoyable read

I loved this book. It had great chemistry, romance and heat with a tiny bit of kink. I liked the fact that it was inclusive, and I’m looking forward to more stories about the characters in this world.

Enjoyable

I really enjoyed this little story. Dealing with someone who is on the spectrum seems difficult to some but for others, it just seems easy and a part of life.

Splendid

Enjoyed this one completely. Characters written with such detail I was easily able to feel the story with them. Pleased to see Anthony will also have a story.

❤️❤️

Looooved this book! It was endearing and sweet while also being spicy! If you love M/M romance with sweet, love and spice, I recommend We Have Til Dawn!

Thankfully Not Another Rainman

The writing is polished, the story captivating, and the scene in the sex toy store? Ay, Papi! I really have enjoyed every Cara Dee book I've read.

I loved it.

It was perfectly sweet and steamy. These characters were amazing. I absolutely fell in love with them. And I cannot wait for Anthony's story.

Great!

Loved the flow of the story. Liked the character development throughout the story, and the ending! Looking forward to Anthony’s story.

Fan-freakin-tastic

Nicky and Gideon are everything!!! I seriously just love Gideon so much and the beautiful, low angst journey these two men went on.

Love it!

Once again, Cara Dee hasn’t disappointed. The characters are very well written. I love with Gideon and Nick. Fabulous Book!!!

It’s good but it’s missing something

It was cute, def a book I woul read agin but it seems like something is missing in it for me but I just couldn’t place it.

Such a good book

Really liked this book. Such a great mix of funny, sassy, erotic and mushy. Loved Gideon and wanted to keep him with me forever. Such a great story.

Great character development

As some who is very familiar with Asburgers or being on the spectrum, Gideon is familiar and well done. Excellent!

Eh, not her best work

All I’m thinking about is poor Chester barely getting any attention. It was okay but it was a really short read.

Heart eyes

Ugh I love this story.. it’s sweet and naughty and so romantic.. just what I needed.. I will be reading this again cause I need all the comfort and I can’t wait to read Anthony’s story.

Love this!

This is a perfect blend of sweet love and steaming hot sex. I love the family, and music and food.

A Must read

She knows how to tell a story and put just the write amount of detail. I like her focus with autism

Oh my goodness!!

I soooo loved this story! Sweet but sexy, tender and hot. Whew! This story is awesome and punched all my buttons!

Another Winner!!

Loved this story hard!! I have yet to read a bad book from Cara Dee. I can't wait for the next book.

Cara Knows How to Write Kink

I'm not a person normally into kink but Cara's books just do it for me! She just has a way of writing it that gets you sucked in (figuratively not literally) and wanting more. I'm so excited for what more she has to offer her readers.

A little different

It's lovely to see a Neuro divergent character represented in literature. While the story doesn't focus solely on it, Gideon's growth out of his rigid self-imposed structure through his own need to change and Nicky's caretaking make a wonderful story of two characters meeting in the middle to make things work.

3 stars

Very hot, as all Cara Dee books are, but the book itself was just okay for me.

Very sweet

I loved this story. It was so much sweeter than I expected, and had a few other surprises, too. .

Feel good story all around

I read this book in one seating. Cara Dee has delivered a sweet and steamy story all in one. The characters were well developed and I loved the dynamics. It is breathtaking to see an author give humanity to a character with Autism. Well done! Cannot wait to read Anthony's story.

Can't wait for the 2nd book

This book was really feel good and kept me entertained that I read it in a single sitting. I never leave reviews but this book was so good I'm breaking review silence. Great job Cara Derek.

Loved it

I really enjoyed this book. Nicky and Gideon melted my heart 🤗. The other characters were well developed and I am looking forward to We have till Monday.

Loved it!

Enjoyable read, will definitely keep this Author on my radar.

Love!

Absolutely love every book Cara Dee writes! This one is no exception! I couldn’t put it down! Can’t wait until the next one!

WOW

One of the BEST romances I've read in 2020. I'm blow away. It's a must read.

Loved it.

This was an amazing book.

A keeper

This was so captivating and enlightening, especially in the area of high functioning Asperger's! Throw in an entirely unexpected relationship and the beauty of family and you have a book that you will re-read multiple times!

Absolutely brilliant

Oh my. I loved Gideon and Nicky's story, they were very engaging characters and their journey was so much more complex than it seemed in the beginning. Nicky was just the spark that Gideon needed in his life and what started out as a financial transaction turned into something these opposites could never have imagined and I enjoyed going along with them as they discovered it. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Phenomenal!

This was just plain phenomenal!!! This was a wonderful complex story with so many layers to the characters. Nicky and Gideon made me feel so much. I loved the steaminess and filth in equal measures. This story kept me enthralled, sooo good, highly recommend!! I am voluntarily leaving a review form an advanced copy that I was gifted. Thank you so much for letting me read your art! My reviews are solely based on my thoughts and opinions.

3.5 Enjoyable

A fresher take on the rent-boy trope, angst free & light reading. I enjoy it when sex-work is shown as a chosen profession, not as something shameful. Didn’t click much with Gideon as a character, didn’t totally grab me by the feels but kept my interest.

Amazing story

It was absolutely refreshing not only to read a story that had characters out if the mainstream but also with realistic dialogue. Gideon and Nicky are perfect and sincere. I loved getting to know them and was quickly drawn into their world.

OMG THIS BOOK !!

If I could give this book more than five stars I would .... I Never usually review books Like this but this book OMG EVERYTHING ABOUT IT WAS PERFECT !! I loved their relationship and the way they both helped each other and there was even a little kink in there.... I am so happy with this book and would definitely recommend!!! 💯

Great Read

This book interested me because it wasn't standard. Main character, Gideon, has Autism and Nicky learns to read him well and is good for him. It has mild daddy kink which I enjoy and can be filthy in the best way. There is also genuine feeling between these two men. Really enjoyed getting to know Nicky and Gideon.

Lost and found

Two lost souls , from different worlds , different personalities and different economic backgrounds , find each other for love

Loved

I read this book in basically one afternoon. Really effortless pacing and compelling characters. The epilogues were especially awesome. Delighted that there is a sequel to read.

You need to read this beautiful book!!

I don’t think I’ll ever hear these two words again without thinking of Gideon and Nicky “Choose me.” My heart just about exploded out of my chest. This story is so special - a man who isn’t neurotypical meeting a man who needs to care for someone else. Beautiful, Cara Dee... thank you for the opportunity to read an ARC of this lovely, sexy story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Unexpected

I'm a lover of Cara's books and this didn't disappoint. It's hot, emotional, & kinky, but that didn't come from the direction I thought it would. I read this in a few hours. I couldn't put it down. Nicky and Gideon had an amazing raw, realness about them. Nicky is fun loving and charismatic, Gideon is much more measured for the most part. But between them the chemistry is of the chart. A true tale of opposites attract. I loved how Nicky brought every day Gideon out of his shell and helped him believe more in the true essence of himself so he didn't have to be something he wasn't. They both got what they wanted just not in the way they expected. My 2 favourite scenes; Times Square and the shopping trip...

Loved it.

What can i say this author never disappoints with her story telling. I loved this difficult story of two men that were totally opposite but together they just worked. It was a feel good story with plenty of hot sex between two guys that never showed how they felt but in the end they got there. These two characters you are going to route for trust me. Off to download the next book as i can never get enough of this authors books. FACT.
