I like the loose feel of the book, and it's what you'd want from them if you listen to their podcast. The book jumps back and forth from one girl speaking to the other speaking, by italicizing what Silk says to separate it from what Diamond says. The book reads like dialogue in a play.

I received my copy of Diamond and Silk's book Uprising. I can't wait to read it! I was one of the first people to order the book last December. It was advertised as an autographed copy to people who pre-ordered the book. However, I received the book today, but to my disappointment, it was not signed. I love these ladies! Just hate that this book wasn't autographed.

I received my copy on August 19th; I started reading and I didn't stop until finished page 113. Wow! So for next 3 days I picked it up and continued reading. I loved it. What I loved the most was reading about your time in that garment factory and how both you handled yourselves during adversities. I first learned about Diamond and Silk from those YouTube videos. The more I watched the more I admired both of you. Your belief in the certainty of Trumps victory was intriguing. When he won, I like so many others, couldn't believe he did it. I was so touched by your steadfastness that I wanted to know "How in the world did he defeat a seasoned politician life Hilary Clinton." So I started on a research journey that lasted until February 2016. I looked at every presidential race from 1916 thru 2016 [100 years] and now I know how President Trump won. I will be publishing my manuscript titled "How Presidential Elections Are Won" by September 15th 2020. But I would have never done anything had both you Diamond and Silk proved that we can do anything if we believe in God and don't give up our dreams. Richard

Absolutely love this book. It shows history, victory and best of all transparency. One of the best books I have read in a long time!

I was presently surprised by this book. They used the clever technique of having Diamond's voice in normal print and Silk's voice in italics. So it was just like them talking. You also got to see how before fame came rushing upon them, they were very hardworking girls from an all-American background - rags to riches. The story of their work in the fabric mills really shows you the caliber of people they are and what they are made of. And the way they rose to fame, their amazement at it, and then their excitement at having achieved it was fun to read. You also get to see what each of us who love and support President Trump knows: that the opposition in the government and in the media is truly immense and pathological. I loved hearing how the Trump family appreciated them so much. I am also glad they cleared up that whole Fox Nation issue; there must be some real Trump enemies there. What is so great in this book is these sisters can-do, trust God, keep on truckin' attitude. But you do see the toll that so much hate and lying can take on people. But they are unstoppable!

Diamond & Silk tell about themselves and how they became such ardent supporters have of candidate (and then President) Trump. The road has rarely been smooth, but they are overcomers. The book is written exactly the way they speak. Their endearing accents come through as clearly as their sincerity.

This is a good book! I got 3 words for this book. Genuine, authentic and real! You can read this book in both these ladies tones, thats how you know it's genuine. They're not fake! They touch on their struggles and that's how you know it's authentic. Their childhood could be yours or mine, not some pompous privileged career politician's or someone who got rich because mom or dad. That's how you know it's real!!! Love it. This is a genuine book of real success through no favors and no association to big names! Real people wrote this book!!

I’ve been a big fan of Diamond & Silk’s since I first saw them on Facebook. Then I saw the notice that said they’d been banned from Facebook which is normal for conservative voices, especially black voices. Happily I found them again on Twitter and saw that they’d written a book. The book is well-written and thoroughly engaging. The first 30 pages or so, give the background of these amazing ladies, with their preacher parents, and how they learned about small businesses through their parents laundry business, and working in a factory that made the cloth. All of this set them up to understand what was happening in our country with NAFTA As the ladies saw jobs leaving for China and factories closing, along with illegals coming into to take the jobs that were left, for less money. D & S heard Trump speak and the rest is history. These determined ladies, started a movement to elect the man they felt would finally free the country of the stranglehold of the Left who seemed determined to gut our manufacturing, weaken our military, keep us divided by race and flood us with illegal immigrants until America finally fell. D & S started with videos until they had a gathering of of Americans who were also seeing the light, until Melania Trump noticed them and introduced them to her husband. What I found so inspiring about this book, is how these ladies built an empire out of their values, and despite being belittled by so many of their own race for, as the ladies put it ‘daring to have an opinion that wasn’t from the Left’, they preserved and are now famous. They were even invited to congress to testify about their banning from Facebook, while Zuckerberg was testifying. What I found shocking, was the Maxine Waters was one of the rudest to D & S, pretending she didn’t understand the dates of when Facebook canceled Diamond & Silk. I was stunned that for all their talk about lifting up the black people, the people in power(Dems) seemed determined to keep a successful pair of women down. Shameful. This book is not only inspiring, but also gives so much good information on just exactly how the black populace is being ‘kept on the plantation’ with lies, liquor stores, drugs and abortion clinics, that it’s worth reading for anyone who wants to know what’s really going on. Well done, ladies and keep up the good work.

I love these 2 ladies and was disappointed when I received my book and it wasn't signed. Then Amazon wrote and said medal signatures would be mailed to me. Well, that wasn't right. I pre-ordered this book in Dec. because I admire them so much and keeping up the good fight and not quitting. Glory be to God I received a book in today's mail with both their signatures and started reading it while I was having my car inspected. I read their introduction and mom and dad's. Just wonderful people, I wish I could get a hug. Everyone, wants to hug a person/persons who are awesome people. Unless you're on the left. lol These girls deserve everything God can give them. This book is written in the style the sisters also appear in real life—like a give and take conversation between them. It took me a little bit to get used to it; it was not what I was expecting. The book gives you the full flavor of Diamond and Silk—their ideas, their brand, their thinking and their background. I always resisted and negated the idea of systemic racism in this country; sorry, just don't buy it. And although this was in no way a major theme of the book, Diamond and Silk gave me a new way to think about "systemic racism" and it is not what I expected. You can find lots of systemic racism in the ways and means of social democratic policy, like social welfare programs, what they teach in schools, how people are manipulated in voting and so forth. And it isn't just black people (Diamond and Silk don't capitalize 'black,' BTW); you could say it is also impoverished and compromised people regardless of race. What opened my eyes to that was the discussion about COVID and a potential vaccine. The book's last three chapters are worth the price of admission.

I read this in one day! They tell it like it is and just goes to show how the left has bullied America. This is the book they don’t want you to read. Informative, truthful, and a page turner. Like them, I ditched and switched.

I first heard about Diamond and Silk while listening to the the Todd Starnes radio show. I fell in love with their rhetoric and their disposition. Sweet as can be but tough on the far left and fake news outlets. This book put everything into perspective. Knowing their background,upbringing and spiritual life, explains the overcoming lives of two celebrities for Christ. Their no nonsense approach is very refreshing during a time where everyone is afraid to challenge the “norm”. This book is worth every penny and time to read it. I couldn’t put it down.

This book is worth reading. Not just to know more about these two great sisters, but to know more about the political climate that these women have traveled through. As a white women, from a lower/middle class background, I learned a great deal from this book. I am happy that I read it and implore everyone to get the book. It’s a fast read with a message that may change the course of your life. My only regret, is that I didn’t purchase an autographed copy of the book. It truly is a must read!

I liked how Diamond and Silk shared their lives to tell the reader what happened to them. They do a lot of research to come to their conclusions instead of just following what they have been told in the past. Easy to read and understand how situations can be confused by others. I enjoyed the back and forth between the sisters. It felt like I was sitting at the kitchen table with them listening to their knowledge. Lots of fun! I would recommend.

This was an enjoyable read learning about the background of these sisters and how they came to support Donald Trump. If someone is surprised that this book is support of President Trump they must not be familiar with Diamond & Silk.

I love the fact that these black conservative ladies are fearless when it comes to telling the rest of the black community what they believe and why they believe it. They have told the black community that they have left the ideological plantation of the democratic party and no body owns their minds. God bless them for it, even though those words in the democrat party is what the cross is to Dracula.

D&S's book was an even bigger pleasure than I thought it would be. I assumed it would strictly focus on their life in political activism, but the girls did a deep dive into their childhood and upbringing. Truly enjoyed it. Loved hearing their perspective on NAFTA.

I have to say that I'm glad that I purchased this book. Its very fun, spontaneous, insightful and heartwarming, To know what these girls been through is very touching and admirable. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the way it portrays silk in the book. To me it comes off as she's a parrot who repeats every other word that diamond speaks, like she's a lap dog without a sensible word or dialogue of her own. I get it, it's their schtick when they go to public conventions around the world for diamond to be the voice while silk be the yes man (woman) but quite frankly its a little annoying. I would like to hear silk speak up more for a change with her own dialogue, so to speak, than being a person who say "yes" or "mm-hmm" or "that's right" all the time. Overall I am glad with my purchase.

These ladies are very intelligent and after reading, I came to realize they have more common sense than most of the US.

To those of us who are already fans of Diamond and Silk, this book fills in information about their backgrounds and experiences in their chatty banter - you can hear them talking in your head. For people who have been turned off by the Republican Party of late, this book is an important read: it explains in a logical and entertaining fashion why many Democrats have left the fold.

I read the whole book, but, chapter 15 is a "re-read" chapter for me.That chapter sums up the driving force that propelled the two sisters to change parties.

This book is very good. I am happy I bought and learned about these two outstanding women, who have been saying and writing what they feel even as they are being attacked for their ideas and for their support of President Trump. Their life experiences made them feel and understand the problems of today's American workers, as well as any economist, and they explain them well in this book. It's amazing. At least half of this country's people agrees with them, and I am sure many others will agree with their common sense and honesty.

I still don’t understand why these women are famous. They’re loud and have an opinion. Aren’t there millions of them in this country. They’re obnoxious and so is this book.

I'll be honest, I expected more. I haven't finished yet, so I won't say it's not good. However, like I said, I expected more. It's written in 1st person with each sister having their own responses to each other. I've read books like that before, so that's not what's wrong. It just hasn't "grabbed" me yet. But, I'm glad I got it so I can say I gave it a try. Perhaps it will get better the more I read.

Bought as a gift for family member. He really enjoyed the background of these fun ladies. Learned a lot about their rise in recent politics. Highly recommend!

Amazing. SHOWS how even Black FOLK know DEM are a CORRUPT evil party. All Dem cities are in despair run Dem from top to party. Cant blame ANYTHING but CORRUPTION and COMMUNISM.

Interesting quick read. Didn’t realize they spent time in Detroit. These ladies are smart and do their homework. Love these gals!

Uprising is a phenomenal book. I laughed, cried, got angry, got still, and I learned a ton!

Everyone has a story to tell and sometimes they can actually tell a story that's interesting, exciting, and thought-provoking. Diamond and Silk are the nicknames of two outspoken African-American sisters, actually born ten months apart, who put out entertaining videos where they speak their minds, often about politics, and let the chips fall where they may. And, they are unlikely video stars, with grandparents who were poor North Carolina sharecroppers, with one of them carrying a baby in high school yet still graduating, and working at looms in the textile mills. That being the textile mills that once dotted the Southern landscape and seemed to disappear overnight with NAFTA and the other trade deals along with the jobs and the lifeblood of small towns when the factories moved across the border or overseas in search of ever-cheaper labor. And, what jobs were left seemed to be snatched up by those here illegally who could underprice in the labor market people who'd been here all their lives. It wasn't until 2015 that Diamond and Silk found a political candidate who spoke to these concerns. It was their vocal support for President Trump that catapulted them to national fame. The book chronicles their newfound fame and their subsequent difficulties with censorship at Facebook and YouTube as attempt after attempt was made to silence their voices and diminish them. "Uprising" is so well-written that the reader feels as if they are actually listening to the back and forth between these two sisters on a podcast. This is accomplished by alternating between plain text (Diamond's voice) and italicized text (Silk's voice).

I am so excited about this book as I have really enjoyed listening to Diamond & silk from the first time I saw them. they made my heart happy. I read the first two chapters where they describe sharecropping. Blacks were not the only ones who were mistreated by this ugly practice. My own Father and Father-in-Law were sharecroppers. My Father got himself out of it and my husbands family got his Father out of it by moving him to Chicago where he got a job in a factory there. Diamond & Silk are two very special people and I will enjoy reading this book and will come back and give another review.

Masquerading as an earthy journey toward self improvement, this is a polemic diatribe supporting Trump

8-19-20, My book is on the way - I'm sure I'll like it because I love Diamond and Silk because of their audaciousness and their joyful yet hard hitting commentary about politics and their love for Donald Trump. They are famous and successful because they are black women. White women doing their schtick would never be popular as conservatives who support President Trump.

Diamond and Silk have written an informative and entertaining work which gives the background to their rise to Internet stardom. Their distinctive voices are sorely needed during these tumultuous times. They "tell it like it is" in a manner that is refreshing and candid. Devoted fans of Diamond and Silk will enjoy this rollicking ride of a memoir.

Couldn’t put it down! I love these two ladies! They are the best! Patriots, witty, smart and funny! Kudos ladies, you made it! God Bless the USA!

I was late to the party, but when I eventually discovered Diamond & Silk, I was so drawn in by their no-nonsense common sense. They do their research; they speak from the heart and have integrity. This book was so encouraging – to see how every-day people, like you and me, can make such a big impact on our nation. God’s hand is surely on them. I definitely recommend this book! Go Diamond & Silk!

Super fascinating read about two compelling ladies. The way it's written made me read it in their voices. Very enjoyable, and lots of background info. Love that they stay true to their principles. Choo choo baby!

This book is presented as a series of conversations between Diamond and Silk, two sisters. The early chapters are very interesting, as they describe what it was like for them growing up. Then they discuss their various jobs as young adults. The last 2/3s of the book are about their becoming involved in politics. The writing reads very much like they talking with each other. They make very sensible responses to each other. This copy was a gift to me, but I definitely did read it and strongly recommend it.

I received my copy as an ARC. I have been following these women for years and was excited to read their story. I highly suggest this book to everyone. No matter your skin color or political agenda.

These two women are really able to lay it out there how the Left has been a losing proposition for the Black community and how leaving the Democrat Plantation is the way forward for Back Americans. They also show the corruption and Left bias in social media and how the Left has control of all speech. The Left has freedom of speech privilege and the Conservative voice has no rights in the social media platform. Diamond and Silk need to be out there front and center. I pray the Black community can heard their voice and follow those who lead them to prosper and be successful in life. The Right supports the Black community. The Left does not want them to know that.

I watched a video of two outspoken girls back when Trump was first running for term one. I could not believe how passionate they were and loved the research that they had done. So, years later when I heard they had a book I pre-ordered it and read it in two days. As a white person, it would be hard for me to truly understand what blacks go through and why they think the Democratic party will save them. Clearly, it will not, and Diamond and Silk do a fantastic job of combining History, their own work experience, and love of God into a work that is a MUST read for anyone just trying to understand politics.

These two are on que! I love how witty and on the ball these two girls are. It's really well written and I love the insights into their childhood and family history.
