I just loved this novella!!! Rodney was straight garbage for what he did & so was Jewel trifflin a$$!! But that's ok bc my girl Makayla came thru & bossed up on both of em!! My Rico didn't come play either!! He made sure he came through & showed out!!! Now what I didn't like is how Gabe played NB!! He know he was wrong!! But that's ok bc we know what the real is!!!🤣🤣 Kendra u did great as usual!!

Makayla dealt with the pain of the indiscretions of others when she met Rico on Valentine’s Day. She couldn’t deal with starting a new relationship without some time to regroup so she requested that Rico look her up the next year on Valentine’s Day. When he found her again, they took the time to date and really get to know each other.

Aww!!! Rico came into Makayla’s life at the perfect time! He showed her how a real man loved a woman, flaw and all! I loved getting insight to the romantic side of Rico. Cause we all know he don’t play in Twisted Off Thar Cali Love!

Rodney swore he had Makayla wrapped around his fingers because that’s the only explanation I came up with.Rico definitely stepped up and showed her exactly how she’s supposed to be loved...

The book is well written. Being an English teacher I like to see a story that flows and that does not have too many spelling mistakes. This book did not only give me a good story to read about 2 people being pleasant to each other, it is just simply well written. I also like that Makayla as a character is someone that most women can identify with in real life. If you are looking for something to read in a day or two that will keep you on edge this is the one.

This is such a sweet, make you feel good story. Love is in the air & it’s a beautiful thing to behold.

This book started with Valentine's Day being ruined for MaKayla. Fast forward to the present day. She says it has been over a year since she separated from her man. That separation was on Valentine's Day. She has a visitor come to the door. That visitor mentions that it isn't Valentine's Day yet. Which honestly makes no sense. He met her on Valentine's. Anyway the story was just okay for me because nothing exciting really happened. The drama basically happened at the end of the book. Unless you include being served with custody papers by a man that doesn't see his kids. Rodney got away with too much. I'm sure the kids should've spoke on his mistreatment.

I have been reading, and following Kendra Necole, She was fire when she first came out. I’m watching her evolve as a reader. This book right here is fire!! And truly twisted. I love the way she bought back two characters and gave of a peak on how they met. I enjoyed every chapter. Kendra has an amazing way of writing books that I can relate too. And because of this book I feel in love with Rico like mad love! Upgraded to a Cali boss showed a totally different side to Rico ( in an amazing way) I can understand why Gabe and Rico are best friends. This is a must read!

Enjoyed the story even if it was abit too sweet. I liked Rico's take charge attitude. One thing was clear, he wanted Makela from day one. I thought Makela was playing head game by holding out on Rico with the sex when she gave it up to him on the first night she met him a year before. I understand being heart broken by breaking up with her trifling children's father, but perhaps that was the time to put the breaks on Rico. I am glad they had their happy ending and I am glad Rico put Rodney in his place. A Boss Indeed.

Great book my love I really enjoyed it. It was good from the beginning to the end. Rodney was most definitely wrong for cheating on her with her cousin Jewel and getting her pregnant though. I’m glad that her best friend Bianca took her out and that how Makayla was able to meet Rico. Rico was such a great man to her. I love the way Rico treated Makayla I really did and I was so happy when he kicked Rodney’s butt. I can’t wait to see what you have next

Wow this book was awesome. I can't believe that Rico really waited that year to contact Makayla. Once he got her he never switch up on her and was there for her when she needed him, I'm so glad he put that beating on Rodney because he deserved it. Can't wait to read more about them.Keep up the awesome work!

I loved Rico! He was so good to Makayla and exactly what she need after that dirty sperm donor. Her ex couldn't be classified as a man or a father. He disgusted me!! Whew where do I start Makayla made the best decision ever when she dumped Rodney’s trifling behind. Jewel had to be the dumbest trick of all!!! Mr. Rico Vines was definitely BAE and was extremely patient with Makalya until she was able to let her walls down to trust again, I am glad everything worked out for them!!
