Unhinged (Iron Bulls MC #5): An ex-stepbrother, second chance motorcycle club romance.

Ok, I finally got the whole book earlier today, and my life shut down because of it. (It's ok, the heavens opened up, angels sang, they made me cupcakes, cleaned my bathroom; we cool). What else you want? This is another runaway hit from Phoenyx Slaughter, but be forewarned- this book is a bit more mainstream than Dante/Karina story. There's not as much crazy erotica, but it threw me off my game, because I was ready for a big story about a wild child who needed reigned in. What we get is a backstory that explains many things and a second chance love story. It provides a nice bridge between clubs and we learn where Logan went (when is someone gonna put that punk to ground already?) While I loved the story, I would prefer some more MC bedroom thunder next go-round. Good book, plenty of steam, lots of funny moments, great storyline. Huzzah Phoenyx Slaughter! Yo Nyx, Honey, GIT BACK TO WORK GIRL. Love your shee-it Babycakes, but don't know if I can go that long next go-round. If you want some Phoenyx Phan-Dom, she got a FB fan page worth checking out. Everybody's super nice and sweet. Worth your time y'all.

I for sure want more of this MC. We were promised two more books- I want em! When Bolt says “you divorce wives not kids” swoon swoon swoon! I’ve always loved that saying. Says a LOT about him too. There is an unresolved issue with Hemi and why he betrayed the lost bulls and wound up with another club as well as the methany biker princess who could certainly pop up and cause even more trouble for Kadence(h) I really wish these two had been able to attend bondage class with Luck. Katrina is still out of her mind I love her, the way she glared at Amy and Kadence had to nudge her really made me laugh. Love these books thanks.

This particular book had a different feel to it than previous ones in the series. It was still hot and sexually stimulating in its own way. I saw more character development with Blaise and Kadence, they grew vastly during this book. Even "shady" bikers have a soft side but they also know when to throw down! You got to love any man that would lay his life on the line for his woman. I loved the fact that Bolt told her she was still important to him even though he divorced her mom. Kady didn't have the best family life but I feel she's going to make up for it now. I still love the way Dante and Karina are. Looking forward to more of them and this perfectly imperfect blended biker family. This was so worth the wait, I'm sorry there was so much trouble during release but I hold nothing against the author. Congrats on another great story Phoenyx!

This is Blaise and Kadence story. In the last book Vexed Kadence came across as a wild child but in this book we get to see the real Kadence. Blaise is just wow 😍!!! His love for Kadence and need to protect her is just hot hot hot. I loved how Phoenyx amalgamated not 2 but 3 very hot MC's in this book. So in this book we have the Savage Dragons Mc Iron Bulls Mc and wait for it ............... We also had the Lost Kings Mc( by Autumn Jones Lake ) all combined in one hot steaming book!!! Its a one click so get on it but make sure youve read the first 4 books first. Trust me you wont regret it.

I preordered and got a chapter, hoping formatting issues are fixed so I get the whole book or else ill be asking for a refund. This will be a good story, hope to be able to read it so I can actually read and review it. May 4, 2017, I have finally gotten to read it, and it was definitely worth the wait. I really liked this book the best out of all of them so far. There was steam, but not uncomfortable steam like some scenes in previous books. Now, I will read the dirtiest of erotic books, so smut is not something I dislike. I feel like the author did an excellent job telling the couple's back story and I liked the crossover of characters. I think the love story got more emphasis in this book, and it was excellent. I will definitely be sad to see this series end. I am curious as to whether the author is going to write Bolt's story and if he would possibly reconcile with Kady's mom. I'd like to see a side story of that or with Bolt and I am intrigued by Teal and Thorn. Can't wait for the next book!

I had an extremely difficult time getting the full copy of this book uploaded. I finally had to do a live Amazon chat to resolve it. I had help from a wonderful tech, Sarith, who solved my problem. This was an awesome read! I loved the interaction and evolution within the relationship of the two main characters (Kadence and Blaise). There was just enough of everything to keep me engaged throughout the book. I loved how the 3 clubs came together to solve a common problem. Cannot wait for the next book Ms. Slaughter writes!

Blaise and his Katydid have a beautiful story to read. It has a lot of sexy hot times, some MC fighting drama, and MC betrayal, MC allegiances resulting in a well developed story that will keep you glued to the pages until the very end. It’s wonderful. HEA.

Iron Bulls MC book 5. A great read. A reunion of sorts between Blaise and Kady. What once was is now again but not without angsty twists and dramatic turns. A history filled with so many WTF moments. Another club makes trouble and all hell breaks loose. A new author for me and I'm a fan.

Kadence finally gets her own story. Blaise, her ex-stepbrother is her love interest. Weird? Yea, but not unheard of. Come on, they're not blood. Kadence gets herself in some tight spots and Blaise has to rescue her. There's now a connection between the Iron Bulls and the Savage Dragons, sisters who love their Alpha guys. One takes to the lifestyle easy, the other fights it with all she's got. I really want a book 6, Hemi has GOT to be dealt with.

I originally read this due to the tie in with Murphy, Dex, and Z! Autumn Jones Lake Lost Kong’s MC series! Ended up enjoying these new characters and now plan to go back to book 1 and read forward in the Iron Bulls MC series!

This book was good but a little pricey for such a short book. Saying that there are so many bad books out there that it's nice to know spending a buck or so more just to know the book will be worth the read. Shirley

I’m an Autumn Jones Lake Follower and she added that a few of my favorite characters make an appearance in this book. So I read it. I was pleasantly surprised and about to purchase the IBMC series. Job well done. I read your notes. You did just fine.

I really enjoyed Kady and Blaise!! Their story had a lot more action than the others and I just really liked their chemistry. Plus I love that we got to see Murphy and Z and my favorite LOKI Dex!!!! It's a great read!! I look forward to more!!!!

Nice to get stories behind the characters that are showing up in the lost kings mc series I am reading.. I was not disappointed. Definitely recommend this series

MC stepbrother romance! So good!!

Great Book

I did NOT want a story about Kadence. I didn't like her or her attitude. I am soon glad Mrs. Slaughter didn't listen to me because I Loved this story. Couldn't put it down. If you have read any of the Iron Bulls, you need to read this one. Very good.

This is is the story of Kadence and Blaise. While tamer than the previous books in the series it was just as good. We find out Kadence puts up a good front as a brat but she's actually sensitive and uncertain. She's always loved Blaise and I love how he adored her. I absolutely love Phoenyx Slaughter books!!

i loved this book. and i really love the series. yes the series has sex.... but its not sex scenes every other page. the feelings behind the couples... you can just feel it. its genuine. thats why i love this series. you dont feel like the writing is forced either. very good.

I liked that this book was a tad different from the rest of the series. It still had a good story, strong characters. Not too much or too little sex. He was the perfect alpha, everything all rolled into to one amazing man & she was grew right along with him.

Kept my attention from the beginning. Had to put down to eat and sleep and couldn’t wait to pick up again. Loved Blaize and Kady!

Absolutely loved this book but then again I love every one of the Iron Bulls MC books. Liked how both MC's were written together with a little bit of Lost Kings MC thrown in.

I only received 1 chapter for this book, so that's why I've rated it so low. Definitely think I could like it if I got more.

This book I feel is entirely different then the first four books in the series. In this story, we meet Blaise and Kadence. Their relationship may be considered taboo, because at one point his dad was married to her mom. However, nothing happened before the parents got divorced. Once the divorce happened, Blaise knew and took what he wanted. And he wanted Kadence. However, Kady wasn't sure what she wanted, and she knew she needed to get away. After being gone for a bit, she gets herself into trouble, and the only person that can help her is Blaise and the Savage Dragons MC. And once Blaise has her back, he isn't letting her go. This book ties into the Iron Bulls through Kady and Karina. Half sisters that didn't realize they had anyone else in the world. This book isn't quite as kinky as the first 4, but its just as hot and steamy and doesn't disappoint. Again, I really hope Phoenyx continues writing for this series!

Kadence and Blaise were once stepbrother and stepsister, their relationship, however, shifts into something much more. Kadence is convinced that she is no good for Blaise and his MC lifestyle. Kadence decides it's for the best to run away from Blaise. When a rival MC kidnaps Kadence, she's surprised that her stepfather Bolt, Blaise and her sisters' men all show up to get her back. At this point, I wasn't sure what I thought about Kadence but she actually ended up growing on me quite quickly. She comes off as a brash, bratty woman who basically likes to think she's a badass. It seems, though, that Kadence puts up a front for a few minutes and then the real her comes out. She's sweet, loyal and a little naive but she has strength and smarts as well. Blaise can be cocky but definitely not like a lot of Bikers in these books. I love the way he knows he loves and wants Kadence and she's it for him. He doesn't care about other women and he puts her first whenever he possibly can. He also has no problem making it clear that she's his old lady to everyone. Blaise is the typical hard-nosed Biker but I really liked him. He was more realistic to me and didn't press the buttons some of these types of characters press with the way the talk and interact and treat their women. The writing was very well done And unlike previous books in the series, I felt that this one was a lot more balanced between the sex and the story surrounding the MC. This is still erotic romance but it also had heart and sweetness. There was action and humor and it made all the difference in the world to me. I was very very entertained by Unhinged. Phoenyx Slaughter is quickly becoming a favorite of mine, and I'm still kicking myself for coming late to her awesome party! Unhinged is about Karina's sister, Kadence, and boy is she colorful! Kadence Rivers ran away from her ex-stepbrother Blaise Savage, as he's everything she doesn't want in a man. But that doesn't change the fact that she loves him anyway. Blaise let Kady run away a few months ago because he didn't tell her the truth. When he gets his hands on her again, he will do anything to keep her this time, as he knows that she's the only woman for him. But Kady is stubborn, and has a smart mouth, so he knows it will be an uphill battle. However, she's in serious danger with another club, so now he has her again, and he will do anything to keep the woman that he loves safe. Again, I would like to reiterate how awesome Kadence is, and I'm half in love with her. That's not to say that I didn't love Blaise, because I do love his stubborn, alpha self so much! Together they sizzled with steamy sexy scene goodness that will destroy all panties. On top of that, the twists swirling around, are f-bomb dropping worthy, and it kept my heart racing. Phoenyx Slaughter has a very talented writing style that has me all kinds of addicted, as her super sexy romance, has an underlying suspenseful plot. I CANNOT WAIT to read everything she has out, and/or will put out ASAP, so it stands to reason that I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND Unhinged to ALL!

Phoenyx Slaughter is fast becoming one of my favorite authors loved Asunder , Disconnect , Entwined , and Vexed they were amazing books Unhinged was a little different then them and I found that interesting it shows the couple learning new sexual experiences ones that they haven't tried before and they are both around the same age and ex step siblings . I love how the author wrote Kadence at first I had a felling that I would't like her but I really did she is strong ,funny and independent her relationship with her sister was really amazing . Blaise was just wow love all of Phoenyxs dominates but he was just WOW he is growing into his dominate side and the way he is with the heroine was truly enduring super sexy alpha . 4.5 Stars Unhinged is the fifth title in the Iron Bulls MC series and features Kadence and Blaine. This book is different to Phoenyx's previous titles in this series, but I really liked it. The story line grabbed my attention from the very first page, and I couldn't put it down. I really enjoyed the fact that the reader gets a glimpse into not only the Iron Bulls MC, with characters who are old favorites, and but also the Savage Dragons MC where we are introduced to a whole cast of new characters. I'm really hoping that some of these get their stories told in the future as well. I thoroughly enjoyed Kadence and Blaine's story which had an abundance of twists and turns, a few questions were answered but more is yet to be revealed. A great blend of romance, heat, suspense, intrigue, passion and drama. I look forward to more of Phoenyx Slaughter's work and the next title in the Iron Bulls MC. Unhinged by Phoenyx Slaughter is the fifth installment in the Iron Bull MC Series. Unhinged can be read as a stand-alone, but for better understanding I recommend to read the books in order. This is Kadence and Blaise's book. Kadence is bitchy and Blaise is crude, rude, bossy and VP of The Savage Dragons MC. Kadence Rivers and her ex-stepbrother/ ex-boyfriend Blaise Savage are back together. Together they learn to trust each other and build a new relationship. Everything could be sunshine and roses, but there are enemies, danger, drama and other MCs friendly and not so friendly. Unhinged is a more emotional read than the other books in this series. Kadence and Blaise are at the same age and discover together their sexual appetites and themselves. I really liked this book and couldn't put it down. 4,5 Stars and Thank you Phoenyx Slaughter !

I do love an MC book and I've read a few. Sometimes authors make the mistake of making bikers out to be real nasty bad boys, I don't like that. But not this one. Pheonyx got just the right amount of family, loyalty and brotherhood. The brothers care about each other and the ol' ladies. It's not always been easy going for Blaise and Kadence, and they've had to rediscover each other, and 'them'. They now have a relationship full of trust. But that trust is tested when accusations start going around! Initially I did find the story was a bit slow but then it all suddenly happened and I couldn't put the book down. The book is well written with no editing mistakes. Easy to read.

This is the fifth book in this awesome MC series, and is feisty Kandence and sexy, crude and bossy Blaise’s story. These two used to be stepsiblings, and have been in love with each other forever. These two have explosive chemistry between them, and are perfect for each other. No spoilers from me, you really need to read this awesome series! This story is filled with action, drama, twists, danger, and love. This author always does an amazing job with her stories, and her readers are never let down. I was intrigued and enthralled throughout, and I recommend this authors work for all MC lovers. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book!

Unhinged was a fun quick read for me. It is a shorter MC or Motorcycle Club book by an author I haven't read yet. I would consider this a standalone but I wouldn't start with this one since there are other in the series before it. Some of the storyline was a little cloudy for me because I haven't read the others but it was still a great read. Some of the latest MC books I have read lately are lighter on the Motorcycle Club aspect and more on the relationship and Unhinged had a more even balance. Blaise and Kadence's story starts off after Kadence disappears on Blaise for a bit. This is the part where it will be helpful to read the previous books. They've had some trouble in the past and struggle briefly to overcome it. Kadence fights it for a bit and Blaise has his work cut out for him. Unhinged is definitely steamy making it a fun hot read. I always love the aspects of an outlaw MC club and this delivers without being gory or dark. Some Motorcycle Club books tend to go overboard and I feel the author balanced it well. I would recommend Unhinged to anyone looking for a hot, quick, fun book focused on outlaw bikers and the brotherhood they have created. It's isn't necessarily a hearts and flowers romance but definitely one click it for a fun escape.

****4 STARS**** I have to rate this one at a four, with a dynamic group of characters and a lot of personalities I still had a hard time initially adapting to the author's writing style. Once I did though, I found myself transported to a place that made my heart race and my face flush. A great story line that allows you to get lost in the excitement and the twists. That is what a great book is made of x

Alpha males, check. Hot sex, check. Drama, check. Crossover, check (there is even an appearance by the LoKi boys by one of my favorite MC authors Autumn Jones Lake). Stand alone, not so much. I highly recommend reading the Iron Bulls series before reading this book to have a better understanding of what is being talked about. 4 stars.

I thought this book was so good! The connection between Blaise and Kadence has sparks flying! He wants her but Kadence wants no part of it. When Blaise has to step in and help Kadence can she avoid his charm or will their strong chemistry win? I so enjoyed finding out. I am a huge fan of this series!

Worse, I made him feel like I didn’t trust him, when the truth is, the only place I’ve ever felt safe is in his arms.

Their love was beautiful and I liked seeing them find their sexual groove together in such a caring way. They are still hot and kinky but their love shines through! I also loved the drama they had going on between the clubs. I like a little action on the side to spice things up! Lol

As much as i love this series i want more . More lust more angst more love . This was a good read and it was grrat to read about the mc again. But this one fell a bit flat for me . I wanted to know why santa betrayed his beloved club ? And what they did to him . Id love to see bolt get a HEA. And im looking forward to the next two books .

A very quick read more of a novella really as the story needs more development and then maybe I would have felt more connected to the characters. But as of a result it was just meh.

I realize there is a huge problem with amazon in regards to this book. Hopefully they will give us the right copy or I will be calling to complain. But ms slaughter never disappoints her readers with her books so I for one look forward to reading the right one!!
