Uncovering You 1 - The Contract

When I wake up in a dark, unfamiliar room, I have no idea what's waiting for me in the shadows. My imagination conjures up demons of the worst kind.

Reality is much worse:

A collar with no leash. A prison with no walls. And a life stripped of meaning.

I am presented with a vile contract and asked to sign. It outlines the terms of my servitude. The only information I have about my captor are the two small letters inked at the bottom:

J.S.

Armed with only my memories, I must do everything I can to avoid becoming ensnared in his twisted mind games. But in the end, it all comes down to one choice:

Resist and die.

Or submit, and sign my life away.

---

Uncovering You 2 - Submission

I have survived the worst. I have come out of the darkness with my sanity intact.

Now, I get to meet the monster holding me here. For the first time since my captivity began, I get to meet Stonehart.

Whatever he wants, I'll be ready. The collar may be tight around my neck, but I will not be a prisoner.

A prisoner has no choice. A prisoner has no purpose.

But a concubine, on the other hand? She always has a choice.

And today, I choose to fight.

---

Uncovering You 3 - Resistance

Jeremy Stonehart is a cruel, vindictive man. He wants me to submit. He wants me to give in.

I will never give in. I will never yield. No matter what he subjects me to, I will always fight.

I will not forget my resolve.

Let Stonehart think me broken. I am not so easily deterred as that. No matter what he puts me through, I will always remember my own strength. I will always remember that in the end, I have control of the one thing he really wants:

My mind.

I will never give him that.

I will resist.

---

These books contain scenes of intense emotional and physical cruelty. Readers with sensitivity to such subjects are advised to proceed with caution.

A great boxset to the start of an amazing series

This is one must read series! You are constantly wondering what is going to happen and trying to figure out why. This boxset is great because it gives you the first three books all in one place. You won't want to put it down either! This story captivates you and draws you in so deep that you need to know, you need to keep reading. The story only gets better and better so be prepared to dive in and only come up for the next book! I love this series!!! What are you waiting for, pick it up now!!

Great Series

I thought this was a good start to the series. I love how you find out as you keep reading that this wasn't a chance encounter. Part of me believes that Lily's past must tie in to the reason why she was abducted. Also, even though Jeremy seems so cruel at times, I liked how the author shows a more compassionate side to him. Gives you some hope that maybe deep down he's looking for a way to save himself and believes Lily is the person to help him overcome his evil.

Puhlease.

Ok to start, I will say the writting is good. HOWEVER, I just also recently finished a book called Consequences, and the plot and storyline were too similiar for my liking. They're basically the same, except with Consequences it's one book, instead of 3, at the same length. I can't help but feel like this is plagiarized honestly because of the similarities. It's just too coincidental in my opinion. Yeah there are some differences like a shock collar, and more details of a contract and it's better written, but come on now.. I would've preferred this to just be one book, breaking it down to I think it was 11? In the whole series is just a waste of kindle space in my opinion. Yeah, you get 3 books for 99cent, but then you have to pay 3+ dollars for the others in the series. That's a bit excessive. Like the consequence series though, i will not be purchasing any subsequent books in the series. I've gotten more out of the free books i get on amazon that i have in these two series.

If you like reading about rape & Stockholm syndrome.....

The author should be ashamed of herself!!! Its awesome how people can write a scenario where the h is raped like its nothing !! I went through the blurbs of the next 8, yes EIGHT books which are far TOO expensive for the page lengths & she falls in love with a sick, pervert who 98% of the time treats her like a common whore! Doesn't waste your money!!!

Would've liked them more if they were longer or cheaper for what you get...

I enjoyed reading the books. They were darker than I was expecting; however, I don't like cheesy romance books so it was okay with me. My biggest complaint is the price for the series. Obviously, the first three are cheap; however, the following books are $3 to $4 each. Bear in mind that I could read an entire book or two in a couple/few hours. I would say the price breakdown compared to that of an average book is approximately $15. Had I known this before I started I wouldn't have read it because I wouldn't normally pay $15 for an ebook. I did factor this into my review as I felt angry having to spend $4 a day for a tiny book to continue with the story. Anyways, they're worth a read if the price per book was like $2.00. Also, it should be noted that others must've had the same complaints because there is a note from the author that she would start making the books longer because of feedback.

God, I love this series!! The cliffhangers keep you so far on the edge of your seat you could almost fall off. I really feel for Lily, like she is a real person, not just a character in a book. Jeremy, hmm, what can I say.... the guy is seriously deranged. I hope there's more opportunities for Lily to throw him off balance. I just hate to see her "punished". She did pretty much give him what he wanted : -She did what she was told and she did it in true "Lily" fashion. I recommend this entire series.

Worth reading, builds in intensity - leave your preconceptions at the door!! 4.25 stars!

The comparisons to a similar series are inevitable and in some ways with that in mind, this series pales by comparison. However that is more a testament to the strength and novelty of the earlier series than a reflection on the strength of Edwards' work. I have read many series (12+) with this theme and a number of them are just so so. I was prepared to not like this series but that was not the case. Fortunately the box set is available at such a reasonable price as I am not sure that I would have been committed to the series had I only read the first instalment which was tantalising but not compelling. By Book 3 however, the plot has thickened considerably with mixed signals between the protagonists and a number of mysteries to be uncovered. The cliff hanger ending at the end of Book 3 ensures Book 4 is a must read. This is a good series in its own right and quite different to the other work mentioned. Jeremy is not a nice guy and I cant say I am warming to him but the writing is easy to read and Lilly's response to him (part terror, lust and calculation) is strong enough for you to want to continue the series to ensure that she triumphs. At this point, I am not really interested in Jeremy's redemption but am looking forward to Lilly gaining both her freedom and revenge.

Breath of Fresh Air

I gave it 5-Stars because it's the first in a long while that I haven't been able to put down... I purchased them because of the price and realized it was because it was shorter than books I normally purchase. I actually think that makes them better. I admire the darkness of S.E.'s story and would recommend that you give it a try and keep an open mind.

and for a great price! There's a quick note from the author ...

I picked up this book as it pulled up as an Amazon recommendation. The synopsis sounded interesting as well as the reviews, and for a great price! There's a quick note from the author regarding the time jumps - but it really wasn't confusing when you pay attention to the dates under the chapter headings. I rooted for Lily as she tries to figure out how to best handle her situation, feeling her pain when she's punished, and captivated as she tries to unveil who Jeremy is - trying to figure out how to beat him at his own game. I'm not sure how i feel about Jeremy just yet. I abhor him for how he's captured and trapped Lily and his display of power. There are tiny moments where you think Lily can unravel him as his weakness could be his infatuation and need for her. I'm disappointed that it feels you have to read the "entire" series to get the whole story. I felt that each book felt more of a chapter in this story between Lilly and Jeremy because I didn't find a small sense of closer after each book. This series did have me hooked with those cliffhangers that kept me intrigued - wanting to keep knowing "what happens next?!".I root for Lily as she tries to figure out how to best handle her situation, feeling her pain when she's punished, and captivated as she tries to unveil who Jeremy is - trying to figure out how to beat him at his own game. I'm not going to tell you whether it is a good or a bad book

It was an exciting and consuming story. I'm not going to tell you whether it is a good or a bad book, but my own reaction to it: I enjoyed the book for the following reasons: 1. The plot excited me - see book description if you don't already know the plot. 2. The writing was excellent. Rich and sharp without being so wordy that I felt like skimming paragraphs. 3. I found the characters interesting and well-developed. Unusual, but more like a rear fascinating bread that only come from well written fiction. 4. The pacing of the story was fast just how I like it in a book of this genre, especially serials. The steady rise and fall of tempo. This gives me plenty of exciting reading, but also allows me places to stop reading when I need a break. Is this a literature? Hell, I don't know and don't care. I enjoyed reading it and that's what reading is all about for me.

I absolutely loved this series

I absolutely loved this series! I was addicted to it from the beginning, and was captivated right throughout the book!! A rough beginning for Lilly, but slowly progresses into Jeremy falling for her and her the same way for him. I was heart broken, and in tears when the sad end came in book 10 & gobsmacked that was the end.... until I discovered 'The Lost Chapter' - this also had me in tears, but for a much better reason. I would highly recommend this series to anyone who asked my opinion on it. This is a must read!!! 5/5 from me.

Hooked from the first page

I was hooked on this book from the first page. I could not put it down. Excellent story line and kept me interested throughout the entire books. I ordered the first 3 and read them now I gotta order more, I can't wait to find out what happens next. The characters are all so very interesting. Love these books.

Too much work to read!

This book skips around too much! Last week, two years ago, five years ahead, now next month, then yesterday. Times are not perfect, but you get the picture. Not worth the effort. At first I wanted to stay with it,but finally gave up and didn't care. I wish the author's note trying to convince the reader to stay with the book had been in the book description instead of in the book.

Grabs you and doesn't let go!

Not my usual choice, but I found it fascinating. There's a mystery within this tale of what appears at first to be lurid suspense. Forget that. This is a nonstop story of true terror, suspense, and mystery. The main characters are three-dimensional and as they do their danse macabre, I found myself holding my breath at times, truly frightened for the protagonist. You'll never know what to expect in this story, no matter what you may have thought was coming, it's not! I can usually figure things out, but not with this book. It's rollercoaster ride, not just what's currently happening, but the back story as well.

Jeremy Stoneheart was intense

This man has went through a lot of effort to steal this female from her life. He has spent a lot of money to control this one woman. He must really want LIlly. But what an utter ass he is! I cannot believe how he treats her. Jeremy is an insane sociopath. All I can think is that he will have Lilly for his wife by the end of this series.

Uncovering you Wow Great

I started to read theses books as a stop gap while waiting on another book to be released. I became addicted from the start. I was a bit nervous at the beginning I was very afraid for Lilly the cruelty she experienced was terrible. JS is a complex character, once you get into the story you can't put this book down waiting to see what he'll do next. Felt so sorry for Lilly but she's a very strong stubborn women I love her way of logicing things out and protecting herself. Lots of twists and turns in this book. Can't stop reading Lilly's and JS story. Hope she gets her wish in the end...

Uhhhh rape series, NOT romance

Rape, not romance. The main girl getting feelings for the guy keeping her captive makes zero sense since he shows her next to nada in niceness. He’s hot so she gets feelings for him? Gross.

Loved the book, hate the total price of all installments

I loved this first set, it grabbed me, held me, and wouldn't let me go. I read in on the train, in a diner, at traffic lights, just couldn't put it down. However, considering there are seven more after it for more money, I'm not sure I would recommend it for what it will costs. Buyer beware that it will become expensive.

Intriguing

The idea of being abducted by someone you don't know, being mistreated, being alone is very dark and disturbing. An yet, I was curious where this story was going to go. Who kidnapped her? Why? What did he want from her? When we do worst case scenarios in our heads, we would like to think we will make choices that will ensure our survival. That's what drew me and kept me in this story. Her strength. Her determination. That is what kept me reading more.

Disgusting.

I can't believe this actually had 4 stars. This is rape, plain and simple. Nothing sexy or thrilling g about it. Disgusting.

A MUST READ!!!!

This was an amazing DARK series. But I read all 7 books in 2 weeks. It kept my interest and I can't wait until book 8 is released in January. Some might find this to disturbing but if U want a book that U can't put down BUY THESE!!! U won't b Dissapointed

Love Books 1 -6

This series pulled me in immediately. Kept me wanting to know what was going to happen with each turn of the page. I hghly recommened this series.....HOWEVER......before you go and buy book 7 read the reviews. Author has got the loyal readers PO'd.

Until something new comes out and you need to read in this style I recommend two authors

I am an avid reader of all kinds of books. In this genre Scarlett Edwards is one of my favorites. I even put off reading a book for my book club to read Uncovering series in one weekend. These books keep popping up in my Facebook feed and today I looked up some of the comments. One mentioned not seeing any more books by her and what's going on. I googled her and and her FB page and blog, there nothing there since June 2017. Until something new comes out and you need to read in this style I recommend two authors. Aleatha Romig ( Consequences ) to start. And Red Phoenix's series Brie's Submission

Uncovering You

I have a feeling this Novel is going to cost me a fortune. It's a great story. It's all emotions. Jeremy is one strange person, but Lilly must have been doing something in order for J.S. to come into her life. I think he's Bi-Polar!!

Gripping and addictive.

I finished reading these three first books in one day! I loved the plot and the character development. I have to admit that even though they are dark and some of the things described are terrifying I am hooked and can't wait to see what will happen between the protagonists. I've already bought the rest of the available books for this series. Highly recommended!

The books become lengthier after series 5 which is a good thing. Scarlett Edwards truly had a genius

This thriller will leave you breathless and addicted to read what happens next! In this twisted, sadistic story it leaves you with many questions that makes you keep reading. The first trilogy was a bit bothersome because the stories were so short. The books become lengthier after series 5 which is a good thing. Scarlett Edwards truly had a genius, dark imagination for such characters. You will not be disappointed.

Great read

It was a great box set but I need the author to complete the series. The book kept my attention page after page. I need to know what the deal is with J.S. The books have mystery to them because you don't really know why certain things are happening and that's the beauty of the story it makes you want to find out. Great read.

Can't put it down!!!

OMG! I am hooked!! I've read the first 3 volumes of Uncovering You and it had been amazing. Jeremy Stonehart is an enigma and nothing about him makes sense. Nothing accept his obsession with controlling Lilly. I can't decide if he and Lilly will fall in love or destroy each other. I have never read a book that has excited me and scared me to death as much as this one. I can't wait to read the entire series. Edwards knows how to hook you and keep you.

Tell Me What's Next

WOW! That pretty much sums it up! I had a difficult times putting this set down so much that I stayed awake reading well into the early morning hours. The main characters are developed while leaving the ancillary ones somewhat of a mystery! I want to know who Rose truly is. :-) I can't wait to see what happens next!

No guessing what'll happen next!!!

In the words of George Takai, "OH MY!!!" This series kept me on the edge the whole time. I'm still all strung out even as a write this! Such an emotional rollercoaster from the two characters, it's refreshing not knowing what's going to happen next. NO predictability! Can't wait to continue the rest of the series. I'd buy it now but I have no monies!

Abusive!!!

This book tries to make rape, physical, emotional, and mental abuse seem romantic and erotic. This book and others in the series were disturbing and I would not recommend them.

Good read

Dark read but a good read. Did not care for the break in the book and how it left off. Not sure if I will get the others books to complete this story. I think it’s a bit pricey. This is just my opinion.

Confused

I can't even say whether I love or hate this book series because I need to read the next 6.... It's very confusing. It shows so much emotion at times but holds so much mystery still... Which intrigues me enough I'll buy the whole series because I HAVE to know... What's next? Why? Why lilly? And what is REALLY wrong with Jeremy?

Oooh Lord

Here I am again, caught up in yet another good series. Jeremy Stonehart is vile. I seriously love /hate him. I can't put this book down. I'm on the edge of my seat, jumping ahead anticipating what will happen next. The only downside is the books are short , the complete series I can't find, so I'm purchasing one @ a time.. Amazon needs to put an end to this, I would rather pay one price for fully complete novel, than continue to be nickled&dimed

Cliff hangar

I choose this rating because it is a great thing to read about. The question I have is why why? But I don't want to ask the questions because it will give away the surprises in the plot of the book. But after reading all the negative summaries of each book after 3, I will not be purchasing any more books. I refuse to be strung along for the money.

Awesome series

This series evoked so many emotions in me. It is an intense read! I just could not put it down. So many questions to be answered and the suspense will make you stay up way too late. Why would Stonehart drug and enslave an honest, hardworking Yale senior. Good story and well developed characters although it was a little dark with the abuse and violence. I still would recommend it.

Engrossing!

Engrossed from page one! I want to discuss this book with someone so I headed to Scarlett Edwards Facebook page and was not dissapointed. What a treat this writer is. I recommend to enyone who likes gritty and dark reads. Also, this book has a hot, HOT sex scenes ;) as a bonus.

Good Writing

Good writing by the author. The only reason I didn't give four stars was because of the repetition of the storyline to the Consequences series.

An emotion packed suspenseful erotic novel.

A fascinating detailed story that goes beyond the average well written erotic romance and delivers a dark rich tale that will have you clicking for the next revealing addition to the journey and the answer to the many questions the first three books raised.

Emotional roller coster ride!

This is a dark and intensely emotional story. The emotional roller coster ride is not always a nice one. I am horrified for the main character, Lily! I also can't wait to see her defy her captor and find myself both delighted and fearful when she does. After book 3, I loathe Stonehart. But, I find I am curious about his motives and I kinda want to find a way to like him. I can wait to see where the story goes. I would not recommend this for anyone looking for a light, easy read. This is intense.

Dark

I enjoy each chapter

Very well written.. I enjoy each chapter. and each one reviled more and more about the charters in the plot... Not quite a page turner but not that far from it.. I will finish reading under covering you...but it might be next year before I do... It is definitely worth buying and a very enjoyable book to ready. I would highly recommend it.

Time waster, boring

Very slow first book jumps around a lot ie present then years later to then days earlier got very confusing. Main character Lilly spends to much time in her thoughts. I won't be bothering to purchase any more of this set.

These books are very very good too read

These books are very very good too read, the writing is amazing, I enjoyed them very very much. Lilly is an amazing person she would not give up on Jeremy stonehart abuse. I will not tell you what happened in the books but I hope you enjoy them as much as I did, you have to get all the books too read ok enjoy.

Pleasure and pain and rewards oh my!!!

I really enjoyed the books, I was drawn into the first book with her being caught and locked away, then pulled farther into it with her finally giving in and signing the contract. The more I read the more I wanted to read, it had me not sleeping, crying, angry, then he would change and be so sweet, and I would like him, but the end of book 3 had me angry all over again... You have to read them to know what is going on.

This is a book that gets better the more you read

This is a book that gets better the more you read. By 2nd book your getting warm 3rd warmer 4th and 5th hot! Very dark! Hmmmm what's to come....

books 1-3 the beginning

Wow I never thought that I would love a book that started off so cold and cruel. The strength of Lilly made me fall in love. The intelligence and strategic ways of Jeremy made me appreciate this story line that much more. Looking forward to more!'

Oh no. Another series.

Enjoyed the books and wanted to purchase more from this author. Then realized I was purchasing another series. I don't mind paying for other full length books but feel deceived when they are no more than short stories. The books were good but not enough to justify buying another series.

I really loved this boxed set

I really loved this boxed set. What a great deal. But every book after was good but who wants to pay 2.99 for 75 pages. I could read that in an hour. Sorry I'm done with this series.

Wow!

Wow, just wow! How different from all the other novels-- the darkness, the fright, the apprehension. Edwards has an intriging writing style that captures you page after page-- you'll immediately want to pick up the next book! Well-written and interesting characters, quite different from the norm. I love how the main characters, though fitting into the alpha billionaire and spirited in-debt girl stereotypes, have their very own distinct personalities. Will definitely be finishing the series!

This book is a bit different from any of the books I usually read because of the cruelty of Jeremy Stonehart. The only thing about the series is that it finishes so short, you have to keep buying the next book to keep reading. I'm sure everyone has the same question on their mind: 'Why?'. I would rather have a few longer books and less installments than ten.

What?!?!

The ultimate cliffhanger what if this horrible ordeal is continued is it worth reading, will Lilly get justice, will her mom and Paul's relationship have anything to do with the why, is it revenge for his mom, what of the crow that helped her when she was only twelve in the pit? Too tempting to stop reading now!!!

OMG

I should be upset and disgusted with this series but I find it interesting. Actually I find it compelling. Our female lead gets kidnapped by a man who decides to make her his submissive. Of course it doesn't go as smoothly as he would like because she has a backbone and isn't giving in easily.

MONSTER OR LOVER?

An amazing series. I could not stop reading. I was impatient to get to the end of each book so that I could start the next one to find out what was going to happen. As much as I am loving every book I will be very disappointed when I reach the end of the whole series

Sadistic and abusive

I've never written a book review before. After reading this book and seeing how high the ratings were, I felt that I needed to warn people about this book. This is not a romance. The male lead is evil. He starves, physically abuses and rapes the female in this book. For me, there is no redemption after that. There is absolutely nothing romantic or erotic about this book.

Great So Far...

I enjoyed the books, although it was a bit confusing at first with the back and forth time jumps. I hope they make a box set for the next 3 books, I fear that's the only way I'll meet to read them. If you enjoy erotica books, this series is for you!!

Love it!!!!

I could not put it down. Keept me on edge. Very, erotic in nature, i find mysrlf merding to read more. Will defiantly get more of the books.

Great series.

This series was good and kept my interest throughout. It has dark subject matter (which I like) and I would recommend to anyone who likes this genre.

I was disappointed. The story is just okay

The books are short. I was disappointed. The story is just okay. I didn't read further into this series.

I enjoyed this series

First book I've read of this style and I'm hooked. I enjoyed this series. It isn't all about sex, it actually had more to it than that. I recommend reading all the books and I enjoyed the creativity of the author but it also makes you think.... how twisted the character really is especially once you get into the later books.

I'm so intrigued

I started reading thinking it was just an erotica romance novel but it is so much more than that. It has a great story line that won't let me put the book down!

Great read.

These books kept me on the edge of my seat. Not knowing what was going to happen next.Cant wait to read the rest. Hope they are in a box set too.

Liked the book

It had a great plot. It wasn't just a lot of words to read. Don't know if that makes sense.

Aaaaaa+++++++

This is how it all began really good and will keep you wanting the next one as soon as you finish the first one

really enjoyed Uncovering You

I really, really enjoyed Uncovering You...The writing was fantastic, there was an excellent tension between Lilly and J.S., and it had the right amount of steam. I was very entertained. This boxed set is a great start to the dark and angsty series and I am definitely interested in continuing reading the rest of the books.

so good could not put it down until i was finished

This is a must read!! so good could not put it down until i was finished!

Outrageous

The concept is baffling. The emotions intense. The story enthralling. How do you get to such a domineering point in your life that enslaving someone is acceptable? How do you survive being captured?

short but good

I just finished this box set and I can't wait for the next in the series. I hope another box set is put together for the next 3. Short books, good story, characters are interesting and I want to read more. :)

boogs

this has been interesting so far. keeping me intrigued. I'm guessing and misting failing at what will be next. great book

Loved

Scarlet Edwards is an amazing author. I loved that the story was well written and that the characters were very well developed. I highly recommend this series to anyone and everyone.

I liked so far this three parts

I liked so far this three parts. I am a curious person, so I always want to know more about this type of topics. This novels about SS are that. Highly recommended if you are as curious as I am.

Proceed with caution

A little more hard core than what I am used to.

Wtf

I have the whole series and let me tell you that at the end of the last book I thought it would have been a happy ending but it was what the f what the f how could you end the series that way

Very good writing

I usually do not like serial novels. This seems to be an exception. I did wait until many were out before taking the plunge. I'm gonna try #4 for sure.

Good Read

I am on book 4 and it is very good. The interaction between the two main characters is very engaging. I am looking forward to the other 6 books.

A terrible example, do not buy

I would give this zero stars. This is in the “modern” way of writing the BDSM lifestyle and happens to be a particularly horrible example of it. This is not dominance and submission, this is rape. While i have no problems with non-concent fantasies between consenting folks, this is nothing like that. This is nothing but a sadistic man abusing and mentally/physically tormenting a woman who did not consent to anything he proposed. A horrible story written poorly and distressingly, likely to leave you feeling like you need to shower this memory away.

Loved it!

My favorite so far! The best suspense, romance and power. Enjoyed the series thoroughly.

Enthralled

I can't get enough. Mesmerizing is another great way to describe this book. I have to go read book 4 right now!

FIVE BLACK STARS.

Simply addictive. Great series to follow. Every page I read I was wondering what is going to happen. Every time I couldn't figure out why thing were lake they were... until Ms Edwards cleared it out for me later. I found myself totally engrossed beeing in Lilly's head. FIVE BLACK STARS.

Intriguing

These first three get you hooked. You just have to continue to the next book. There are several twists and turns you're never sure what is true and what is trick.

Riveting

I started this series on a Sunday morning and couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read the next book. So many unanswered questions.

cant help myself

Enjoyed the first set its like driving up on a car wreck you don't want to look but can't help yourself. I have been on the edge of my seat the whole time.

I hated the first ending

I don't normally read this type book but I had to find out how it ends. I hated the first ending. If I had being reading a regular book instead of my Kindle, I would have thrown it across the room. The second ending was much better but the whole story is so black it still left me with a bad feeling.

I couldn't put this book down. It kept me ...

I couldn't put this book down. It kept me guessing. The book had me feeling so many different emotions. Scarlett Edwards has way of telingl a story so suspensfully. Oh yeah, there was an abuse and sex, lots of sex. Oh my!

Definitely a page turner

Always waiting to see what's going to happen next..

suspenseful

I enjoyed it so far, but disappointed it's not ending here. Not sure the next chapter is done yet. Will heck

Excellent writing and interesting story line with many unexpected twists ...

Excellent writing and interesting story line with many unexpected twists and turns. Hot sex and very dominant male protagonist. Not for faint hearts, dark and intense abuse is depicted, but a fear warning was given in advance by the author.

Bonus Offer

I loved this box set! The story is amazing! I love how Lilly is determined to find out how she got in her situation. As a reader, you keep guessing "What's next?" on every page. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery & romance. I thoroughly cannot wait to read the the rest of the series!

Control...

This was all planned. He had to have her. He had to control her. Whatever he wants, he gets. What above he wants?

Master Jeremy

This box set was HOT!

Crazy, hard core, intense BDSM

The characters in the book are interesting. They make you want to know more about them. About what makes them tick. And that keeps me wanting to read more.

Three Stars

Ok

The book is wonderfully written and I was hooked from the start, I couldn't put it down once I started. My only problem is that the set contains three books but they are incredibly short. I would recommend the writer when writing future books to make them into one book if the books are as short as these.

This gives me plenty of exciting reading, but also allows me places to stop reading when I need a break. Is this a literature? Hell, I don't know and don't care. I enjoyed reading it and that's what reading is all about for me.

This is a must read

Good plot nice character development and defiantly hot overall it's a must read !!! You learn to love to hate stonehart!

Fast read but moves slowly.

The first three books are interesting but never move out of the tease stage of the story. I still have no idea who any of the characters really are. I don't plan to invest any further in the series.

great series!

page turner, I just wish the dove didn't die ,it makes it hard to ever forgive the main caracter ever and I am hoping he turns out to be a good guy. Truly addicting!

Dark

Dark

Dark and haunting love.

Emotionally rich contemporary romance series. Dark and haunting love.

The best start to the series

I am beyond obsessed.

I read all 3 first books in one day. (Sick from work.) can't wait to finish the rest of the books. (:

Enjoyable Read

An enjoyable read that kept you interested and involved.

Do not waste your time or your money!

This entire series was horrible!! It just kept getting darker and darker and I would not recommend it to anyone. How many ordeals are you going to put your main character through. You throw a bone to your readers in book 11 because everyone hated the ending of book ten! This should be under a different category. It makes no sense. Outside of the horror you put Lilly through there are other things that are just annoying like her calling Dr.Telfair by that title the entire time even though he is her soon to be/is brother in law. These books were weird and I had to go find something lighthearted to do after reading them.

I will submit lol

good read

I couldn't put this down. Hate series that always leave you hanging and waiting though. So I only gave it 4 stars

Five Stars

Best Box Ever. Period.

Terrible

Don't waste your time reading this series. When I was reading this series I could not believe that someone do this to another person. Are there people so disparate for money to subject themselves to torture.

Basically sicko crap.

If you are looking for an erotic story to titillate skip this book. It's just a dark story about an obsessive kidnapper who's unbalanced and a sicko and the woman he twists, manipulates and of course she falls for his alpha personality and her loins can't resist him. Basically sicko crap.

Interesting but another book

Quite interesting book that follows another book conquering that followers the same plot but intrigued to see where it goes

Ripped Off!

I was going to write a decent review based on the 9 books of this series that I had read so far...but after seeing what happens with Book 10 & 11 I added the following review for Book 11: "I haven't yet read Book 10 (and I am now reading Book 9), but I cannot believe that after charging so much money for each book, considering that the length of this series is ridiculously long, and that each book is not long enough for what we are paying, AND still I let is slide and continued to purchase the books; now the author of this series has the nerve to charge another $1 (hey why not!, she already charged almost $30 for the whole series) for a "24 page Book" to add to Book's 10 ending??? I mean c'mon.,are you for real! I have never, ever felt so ripped off... It is my fault I know, I should have stopped when I saw the length of this series, the price of each book and most of all the length of each book... For me charging ONE MORE DOLLAR for 24 pages is just an insult to my face! I guess I will have to console myself with the reviews for Book 10... because I am NOT paying one more cent. The nerve!" So my honest opinion is that even though the author did a good job writing this series and the story is truly compelling, I still would recommend you save your hard-earning money and purchase another series or book that will make you feel like it was worth every cent...unless you are willing to pay close to $30 for 11 Books, each averaging from 150-250 pages each. - But that is just my opinion. - To the author of this book: My intention is not to offend your work, the series itself was very well written and kept me on my toes, but I don't appreciate being taken advantage of.. PS. I read several of the Customer Reviews for Book 10 (supposed to be the final book) - and I guess it makes me feel better to see that I am not the only one who got sucked in, wasting so much of my time and so much money on this series...just like someone wrote on their review "Overpriced and Over-Rated" - couldn't agree more.

"bonus offer"

I couldn't stop reading. I was hooked from the beginning and could not wait to see what would happen next! Intriguing!! Although it is dark, if you enjoy a thrilling and suspenseful story, this is a must read!!

not what i thought it would be too hard to follow skipped around too much glad i only paid 99 cents vfor it

not worth the entire cost of the series

After reading this three part beginning set of the series, I was barely invested in the two characters. I could not see myself paying over $20 to see what happens to them.

Five Stars

New favorite. Trully captivating beginnig to great series!

Five Stars

Best boxed set in a while for me. Good writing and suspensful story.

Dark

Hmmm...

Not quite what I was expecting but then again i guess i didn't have the entire collection maybe it will get better with more reading

don't waste time

worst book ever! thought it was a love story and it's sick! It's confusing bouncing between eleven years on every chapter. The things the author imagined for torture are disturbing

Sick

This was not even sensibly enjoyable. Made no sense but he was definitely a person with issues. Have no desire to find out what happened since he was so cruel.

Don't waste your time or money

Spoiler Alert: Don't waste your money getting into this series. Book 10, the finale, is so improbable and so disjointed you will regret having invested your time and money in books 1-10. Main characters are killed off in what amounts to footnotes. Magic pills are administered. AND, the end is a cliffhanger, which presumably there is no answer to as Book 10 is the end of the series. This series is almost a fan lit version of Alethea Romig's "Consequences" series. Same set up of revenge kidnapping and rape. Same turncoat housekeeper. But the Consequences series is way better written with a more satisfying resolution.

Uncovering you

This book contains no substance. Read every other page trying to discover something to make it interesting. I cannot recommend this to anyone.

crazy train!

I'm getting off thus author's crazy train. At least I waited fir the box set to take a look at this series. It's a shame that so many readers are complaining in the reviews about the money they've spent on each installment only to be disappointed by the miniscule advancement of the plot and lack of an ending in sight. For me, this story is just weird, with no redeeming qualities for the hero, who has kidnapped and raped the heroine. The heroine isn't much better because, despite her victimization, she allows herself to feel something for the animal who has brought havoc upon her life. Just disgusting!

Two Stars

Very drawn out and never really gets to the point

99 cents and then we're supposed to pay $3 for each book ( better described as chapters)

This series abuses the reader. The first 3 Chapters are sold for .99 cents and then we're supposed to pay $3 for each book ( better described as chapters). Shame on the author. Her writing style is lacking with too much non relevant description especially of the mansion. Falling for such an abuser is not realistic. Amazon editors need to better oversee the submission of their entries for Kindle inclusion. This "book" is better advertised as a serial. Please don't let yourself open to lacking truth in advertising.

Power & Manipulation struggle!!!

3.5 STARS A real game of the mind, this story contains both emotional and physical abuse with the intent of owning someone completely. Lily is a smart, ambitious young woman who has worked her way into a bright future or so she thought. When she wakes up alone in the dark with a collar around her neck she has no idea how she got there. Forced to sign a contract basically signing her body & life away Lily decides to bide her time and play the game of her twisted captor until she can break free. After signing and discovering that her captor is Jeremy Stonehart, Lily tries to piece together the puzzle of how she came to be in this situation in the first place. How much of her life so far has been a lie and why was she chosen in the to begin with? One thing she knows for sure is she is stronger than Jeremy can imagine and while he may own her body he can never own her mind - and that is why she knows she will win. The game of power and manipulation begins between the two and just when you think you see a glimpse of kindness in Jeremy his personality does a complete 360 turn and the vindictive man re-emerges. Lily plays her part as best she can to appease Jeremy while trying to find a way out but she needs more information if she wants to win the battle of the minds. Although I've only read the first three instalments of this Series I think it would have been better if it was one book or maybe two instead of a series, only because of the complexity of the characters. Either way though, so far it is an enjoyable dark and raw series that has left me wanting more!!!

Get it. Just get it.

First of all, I should say that I got this boxed set for free woth my kindle unlimited account. Had I merely followed the first few reviews, I probably wouldn't have gotten it; the kindle unlimited offer allowed me to try it for no cost. And that would have been my loss. But I begin to get ahead of myself. This is, as has been previously stated, a serial. This bundle is the first three of six. The next two parts (I am currently reading the fourth) are available for $2.51 each, a rather steep price for a small part of an e-novel. The author is utilizing/responding to reader feedback in her writing, which is an interesting idea. However one feels about these ideas (I tend to dislike serials, though I don't mind series, and I read a tremendous amount and don't care to pay more than I have to), these opinions say little about the purpose of a a review (IMO)--the story and the writing. Is the author effective in her craft? Well, yes she is. She captured my attention from the first page and I read it through. Do I like the characters? No, not really, but they fascinate me. I want to know what happens next. I want to know why. I want to discover whether the male protagonist is truly a sociopathic egotist or if there is a reason that he acts as he does. I want to find out if she gets out of this situation abd how. I want to know more. And that keeps me coming back for more. Do I recommend this bundle? Oh, yeah.

Uncovering You: Box Set

Jeremy you sadistic son of a bitch … how is it that I have fallen head over heels in love with you? More so, how is it that my trust in you is always questioned and I fear that all I have hoped for is nothing more than a game of cat and mouse. The Uncovering You series is a dark series. You think you have read all there is about evil and then you pick up the first book in this series and you realize how wrong you were. Torture and pain with a twist is what hooked me. I had to know why. I had to know who. I was addicted, hungry for any little detail the author shared. The characters within the pages of these books are extremely well-defined physically and emotionally. The author breathes life into these characters with her words making them explode on the pages with such intense realism. If you are a lover of dark, suspenseful erotic reads you will enjoy that the storyline is very unique. Mystery, intrigue, shock, surprise, lust, anger, hate, passion, deceit, contempt and revenge are contributing factors throughout the story. The intensity of the passion, the willingness to survive, the helplessness of giving in and the feeling of being so broken you doubt it will be possible to mend. The arrogance, the calm, the secrets, the lies, the uncertainty and the deep-seated anger wrap themselves around the words making this a story that is impossible to put down. While reading this series I found myself lost to the outside world. The only thing that existed lived within the pages of the books. I was owned by the author. Helpless to control my mind. To stop the screaming I heard inside of my head. I felt compassion, fear and anger. I felt hunger, mistrust and confusion. I felt shattered and spent. To say that I found these 8 books compelling would be an understatement. The pages hold mystery and intrigue, confusion and clarification, interest, hope and despair. The author never allows us to figure out the next step. She plays with our minds making us believe one thing only to surprise us with something else. Within 3 days I had read all 8 of the books in this series. I was hooked. I needed to know what happened next. This series became like an addiction to me. I found that I would pick up a book even if I only had a few minutes to read. This series was my introduction to Scarlett Edwards. One of the things that I really like about this author is she is fan driven. While reading the author’s thoughts in each book, it seems that she listens to what her fans want and attempts to accommodate their wishes. I will admit, that this made me like the author even more. If you enjoy dark reads. Stories with a leading male character who goes beyond evil but at the same time can fulfil some of your most intense darkest fantasies. If you enjoy stories with strong, smart and determined leading women. If you enjoy one of the most intense games of cat and mouse. A game of the hunter and the prey than you will love this series. The intensity of the passion, the willingness to survive, the helplessness of giving in and the feeling of being so broken you doubt it will be possible to mend. Poorly developed characters and disappointing end.

This series is disturbing and without any redemption at the end. I read thru the entire series hoping there would be a turning point or valid explanation for the sadistic behavior only to reach an even more disturbing anticlimactic end. There is never a point at which the lead male role is likeable and eventually you become thoroughly disgusted with the female characters weakness and tolerance for the repeated torture she's forced to endure. The characters histories are not developed enough to explain the sick involvement and nothing in the book explains the connection they eventually form.

Don't bother

Worst books I have ever read! Amazon needs to rethink this one!

Disgusting

This book was extremely disturbing and I would like to have my time and money back. I didn't even finish reading this. I know that the book is meant to be dark but this was too much.

Not original. I've read better. Not convincing. Too many installments to complete what are chapters for one book.

Before you begin this journey be aware that this is a story comprised of eleven installments. Each installment is sold separately and can be quite pricey. Not to mention they are chapters not books being released as installments. Each chapter contains about 150 Pages of nonsense. Virtually no relevant information or depth will fill the pages of each chapter. You will be dragged along a long and arduous journey with very little substance. Part one was a brutal read. Im dreading reading any more, but I'm determined and hopeful that it will improve. The preview gave me the impression I would be reading a dark story but it was not. Lilly's situation was anything but dire. She woke up in a lavish home against a pillar with clothes on her body. I'm growing bored and impatient with the beginning of this story. It's not moving at a pace that interests me. The story is about a contract made by JS to Lilly. By signing the contract, Lilly agrees to be his sex slave for five years. It's predictable. I've read plenty of sex slave stories and when you find one that meets your needs and goes beyond your expectations there is no need to search any further. This one is mediocre at best. The author did not illustrate the situation Lilly woke up in very clearly. She's in a room and given food with a contract to sign. Lilly remains in the room untouched for two weeks until she signs the contract. I wish the author had created a more eerie feeling to being held captive. The story needs more fear. Lilly comes across as naive, immature, and selfish. Lilly is trying to pinpoint the timeframe in which she changed the course of her life. Saying that Lilly is strong and determined to change her future only works if the author can back that up with words. So far the only words printed are her complaining about being homeless, jobless, and broke. Part two is ludicrous. Jeremy trains Lilly as if she is a pet with boundaries, collars, and punishment for disobeying. The only form of punishment is malnutrition which Lilly chose for herself. For a woman who claimed she was strong she caved in the end by signing the contract. Bravo! Lilly you managed to figure out who had been holding you captive. The story moves along at a snails pace because it is bogged down with every minute detail. The author outlines each step taken by Lilly. Yet these details don't add to the story. Jeremy shows his controlling and dominating side. Lilly is learning her boundaries. The contract is elaborated upon in this portion to show some rewards that can be earned and privileges earned. Part three is a repetition of part one and two. It's as if Lilly took a few steps back to reevaluate her situation. The author wants you to believe at this stage of the arrangement that Lilly is beginning to have Stockholm syndrome. Once again writing the words is only convincing if you choose your words carefully by making me believe them. The words are not written in a manner that I believe. Every time Jeremy leaves Lilly a note she acts immature by crumbling it up. She is overthinking this game.

disturbing hero and annoying heroine

what can i start with? first of all , i don't mind the plot 'kidnapped, and fall for captor' or i don't mind some heroine that just scared and weak and don't know what to do. sometime it's kinda make character more interesting, and make me wonder about her develop among the story next chapter. But this is the whole different here. start with Lilly, she claimed that she smart, she Yale's student of phycology, she try to tell me that she have a fire in there, well, after i read three books in series i have to tell her 'sorry,i don't think you're all the thing that you claimed to be, girl'. start with something that she call plan for revenge, first she think that she will pretend to cooperate and try to destroy his empire later and she so satisfy with her big plan, well , even 'i' know there a big hole in her plan that's still can't settle, it's call "How?" you know? like how you 'pretend to be a mouse and viper later' and all of the things you bubble in your though. and if You really study phycology, why i dont see your theory anywhere, like you have to learn something about sick mind people right? and this situation is suit for use that knowledge you got from Class like grade A student you said you are. and you really don't know how different between 'office' and 'surveillance room', really? and we've hero, well , evil sick mind man to precise. he is Jeremy. he kidnapped Lilly, put her in electrocute collar, he raped her and tape it so he can play it again for mocking her, when she rescue a dove from outside he just fried it and feed her for dinner it's just start of the evil he done. for my opinion this man is nothing than Coward and pussy guy. put the electrocute as her collar to make her stay, use his strength to make her submit, rape her, wound her mind over and over. and he still have guts to say 'what am i done to get this unloyalty? ' and even start some line with the word 'heart'. when something wrong happen he just blame someone else ,anything else but himself, that's the coward way to live life you know? he's not a dom, he's not even an alpha male. while the story goes i fell like i just see big boy bully someone that certainly can't have power against him again and again, just to make him satisfy that he can win something in his life. well ,another evidence of his coward and pussy. again, I don't mind the hero that try to take control, but it have to come with responsibility. You have a lot of control , You'll so much deep deep responsibility for it(it's one of simple rule to be adult, to be a man than a boy, you khow?), like he want to own her, he have to responsibility of take care of her ,make her content, because she is human being not a f*** doll, and Jeremy never try to achive that for once, he cant even have guts to apologize in any logic, and when it become the story of control without responsibility ,it's just show about how much selfish bully he be there no dynamic in this couple at all. three books and it all about no other things but abusing body, heart , and soul(and i still don't even know what he want from doing those sick things to her). with heroine too scared to face up in the right time and the hero with coward and pussy way with every bit of his acts. I'm not sure about the next ones in series are going to be more development or not. may be sometime in the right mood i will looking for the end of the whole story just to see how it's gonna turn out. but if the continuing in other three books(that already release)go on and on like this. I have to say it might disappoint for me.

I could not put it down

one of the first book i have read like this . it held my interest all the way through. I have learned to hate j for his actions but am also caught up in all the mystery. this book is not for the faint of heart but i encourage everyone to try it and i think you will love the book

Too much bouncing around in time

I tried. Couldn't get past chapter 2. I thought the plot was intriguing enough to keep me going but I cannot read stories that jump around in time like this. Its all over the place. Flashbacks are fine but this is just too much for me. Sorry. :(

The characters pull you in to make you want a happy ending but for me the abuse was too much

This series was much darker than I originally thought it would be. I couldn’t stand the abuse she withstood while then defending him and loving him at the same time. The characters pull you in to make you want a happy ending but for me the abuse was too much. Very sad but very well written, hence the 3 stars. The author does a great job in character development and pulling you into the story so you can’t stop until the resolution.

Deviously Dark

Uncovering You: The Complete First Boxed Set is my first read by author Scarlett Edwards. It won't be my last! I have to keep going to find out what that sick and twisted Jeremy Stoneheart is going to do next.

Dark

I Hated It!!!!!

I hated it!! Books 1-3 was close to ok so I thought the rest couldn't be as bad. I was sooo wrong. The rest in this series was awful. I HATED IT. Book 11 really. That was the only one that I was sort of able to stomach. I'm just glad I bought them with KU. I would be really mad. I really do love Scarlett Edwards' books but just not this series.

This is so crazy - in the best way!

I don't know where this series is going but I know I can't wait for the ride to be fully revealed to me. Stoneheart so aptly named is one complex character and Lily is a ping pong of emotions under his thumb. Let's see who wins the game in end!
