My favorite Mitzy Moon Mystery so far

It’s hard to believe that it hasn’t even been a year since Mitzy Moon inherited her grandmother’s bookstore. She’s gotten close to her father and especially Grams (in her ghostly form). All of the main characters are unique, flawed, and loveable. Mitzy is smart, hilarious, and determined. Grams is a force of nature but she and Pyewacket have taken a backseat in this book. Erick, the sheriff, is an amazing man and in love with Mitzy. Mitzy and Erick decide to try to solve the cold case of Mitzy’s mother. Mitzy had been told that she’d died in an accident but Erick found out that wasn’t true. When they go to Arizona together, they do find more evidence but will it lead them to the killer? Being together in one room and working together brings Mitzy and Erick closer, but they are both determined to take things slowly. I love that! Friends first and lovers later is the best way for a relationship to stand the test of time. One problem, though, is that Erick is beginning to realize that Mitzy’s “hunches” are more than hunches. I wish she’d come clean. He obviously loves her, and her psychic abilities shouldn’t change the way he feels. He already suspects, he doesn’t seem bothered at all from what he’s seen, and he’s Erick. Tracks & Flashbacks is the ninth book in the Mitzy Moon Mysteries series and my absolute favorite so far! I was not ready for it to end. I need more.

Another Amazing Mitzy Moon Book!

Tracks and Flashbacks takes Mitzy and Erick out of Pin Cherry Harbor and into Mitzy's Arizona past. Mitzy and Erick are on a mission to find out what really happened to Mitzy's mom. As they begin their investigation, what was supposed to be the most frozen of cold cases turns burning hot! I loved learning more about Mitzy and her early life. I also love the slow burn between Mitzy and Erick. It is frustratingly authentic. I wasn't sure how Trixie Silvertale was going to do it, but I loved the way Ghostma and Pyewacket were able to be part of the story. The Mitzy Moon series is consistently one of the best series of cozy mysteries I have ever read. The storytelling, the mysteries, the characters, and the world-building all have me clamoring for more, more, more!

Mitzy has to solve a case close to her heart!

Mitzy and her boyfriend Erick travel to Arizona to try to uncover the truth about her mom's death when Mitzy was eleven. There are some really ruthless people who will do anything to keep the secrets of the past buried. Her and Erick have to face danger at every turn. I loved the action in this book and I loved the focus on Mitzy and Erick's developing relationship. Grandma and the gang back home didn't help as much as usual but that's okay. Mitzy just had to depend on her own skills and the help of Sheriff Erick. I think this book is my favorite of the series so far. There are quite a few really touching moments focusing on Mitzy and her mom that got me quite teary. This book is a really great addition to an excellent series.

Best book ever!

This is by far my favorite in the series! It was such a great plot. She goes back to Arizona to solve her mom’s murder. I thought I would miss having some of my favorite characters interacting with her in the book, but I didn’t have to go without. The author found a totally unique and quite fabulous way to bring them into the story too. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. This is by far one of my favorite new series out.

Back to the beginning

Trixie has done it again. I could not put this book down. Erick Harper finds out some things about Mitzy's mom's death and it is not what she was told. In true Mitzy fashion she heads back to Arizona, with Sheriff Erick Harper in tow, to find out who actually murdered her mother. I loved how protective Erick is of Mitzy and how much she had come to depend on him. I hope soon Mitzy will let Erick in on her secret. This is a must read.

Mitzy & Erick tackle her most personal mystery

Mitzy and Erick fly to Arizona to look into the 'accident' that took Mitzy's mother away and landed her in the foster-care system. It should come as no surprise to anyone that there is a mystery to solve once they get there. Was the accident not an accident? Who had anything to gain? Being set in Arizona leaves out most of the regular Pin Cherry Harbor residents - the exception being Pyewacket and Ghost-ma who have a unique system in place to communicate with Mitzy! Silas, of course, is on speed-dial to help Mitzy translate the messages coming from her ring. I really enjoy this series and I look forward to seeing more of Mitzy and the Sheriff in book #10

Mother dear

Finding out your parent died of unsavory circumstances, this intrepid psychic investigator once again baffles law enforcement with the help of her alchemical family lawyer and talking caracal. Let the fun begin! These characters have truly captured my attention, and this author ensures my entertainment level is kept high! Once again, I couldn’t figure out the actual culprit...exactly as it should be! All my reviews are always voluntarily written.

Laugh and cry in this page turner

I was eagerly waiting for this next book in Trixie's series, and I was not disappointed! As Mitzy heads back to Arizona, Trixie weaves a story that pulls at your heartstrings, makes you laugh, and keeps you turning pages to solve the mystery.

You won't be able to put it down

We are already on book 9 and I am still enjoying this fun series so much Fast-paced. A real page-turner. “Tracks and Flashbacks” is one of my favorites in this series. I was eagerly waiting for this next book in Trixie's series, this series just keeps getting better with each installment. It makes you laugh and cry at the same time and the characters are great.

Always great

Great read, as usual. Eagerly awaiting the new one being written now, but I can wait so Tricia has time for it to percolate. Love this series

Tracks and Flashbacks

I literally could not stop reading this book! Mitzy and Erick on a trip together was exciting enough. Kept me reading all the way. A twist in villains and some “magic” which Mitzi always calls it, brings closure to the mysterious death of Mitzys mother. What will await them when they get back home? I can’t wait to read book ten.

Great

I love her books. Mystery, romance and a person who can hear and see ghosts. Really funny and cute stories.

The best one yet!

Every one of these Mitzy Moon mysteries are terrific, but this one was my favorite because it was so personal. I would have liked to see Mitzy bring back her mother's ashes and have them beautifully put to rest and memorialized.

Addicting series

Ready for a cozy mystery that's unique? This book series can be read as individual books; with characters in many of the books. Hard to put down! Can't wait for the next adventure!! Trixie can twist the "almost Canada" tales!!

Mitzy Moon. Love her.

I absolutely enjoy Trixie Silvertale books. As I've said before, I want to feel as if I'm watching the story line unfold. Such great stories and characters. I know them well. I'm almost finished with this book and can hardly wait for the next one.

Another excellent book

Misty and hottie Eric goes to Arizona to solve her mothers murder. Excellent storyline. I can't wait until November when the next book comes out. This series is a must read.

Another Winner!

It's amazing how she keeps doing it. She writes about a book a month and manages to keep you guessing in each one. Love this series! Please keep it up.

Closure for a New Opening

Book 9 was great! I had been wondering when Mitzey was going to get closure/answers regarding the loss of her Mother. I really enjoy all of Mitzeys capers. Thanks!

So good

Can’t read these fast enough.

good series

great series

Fun read

The series is a fun quick read. Makes me want to visit “cherry” country more. With a slightly different “take” on family & friends. Just the right amount of “snark” throughout.

Finding the truth of her past.

This was my favorite. Looking forward to book ten.

Mitzy and Sheriff Too-Hot-To-Handle are off to Arizona!

At the end of Book Eight, you may recall Sheriff Too-Hot-to-Handle had just uncovered that Coraline Moon – Mitzy’s mom – had been murdered. AND he’d offered to go back to Phoenix with Mitzy to get to the bottom of that cold case. Heading to what ostensibly was her home for many years, Mitzy plans to return in style. That involves a First-Class Suite for the flight from Almost-Canada, and topnotch accommodations in a luxury hotel once they arrive in Phoenix. They’re off to a great start. Well, friends, let me tell you that along with the temptations that “rooming with the Sheriff” will foist on Mitzy, Tracks & Flashbacks hits our heroine with painful memories, amazing insights, and a cold case that has tentacles reaching through intrigue, deception, and corruption. Far more than they had bargained for. Not knowing who – if anyone – they can trust, Erick and Mitzy find themselves running for cover. Though Ghost-Ma, Pyewacket, and Silas aren’t nearby physically, the wonders of technology make their invaluable input and advice almost as easily reached. Silvertale’s characters have long since found their way to being among my favourites. Tracks & Flashbacks is a stellar entry into this series, with a great back story and – finally – some closure for Ms Moon as far as her mother and her death are concerned. A fast-paced, nonstop read, Tracks was another Moon tale that I simply kept reading to the end. I loved this one – caveat, have tissues ready – and settle in, you won’t stop till it’s done. [I was fortunate to have received an Advance Reader Copy of this book. I was not, however, required to write a review. The opinions expressed herein are freely given and entirely my own.]

This series keeps getting better and better

Fast-paced. A real page-turner. “Tracks and Flashbacks” is one of my favorites in this series. This series just keeps getting better with each installment. This installment was different as it did not take place in Pin Cherry Harbor (aka Almost Canada). At the end of Book 8, Mitzy learns that her mother, who died when Mitzy was only a child, was actually murdered. So Mitzy must return to Arizona, where she was living – or perhaps better called “surviving” – when she was notified that her grandmother had died and left her an inheritance. She must find out the truth behind her mother’s death. And love interest Eric just happens to have some vacation time and offers to go with Mitzy. Mitzy is just as sassy as usual, but there is more emotional depth in this one. With Eric at her side, she can finally face some loose ends she walked away from at the beginning of the series. While I did miss Ghost-ma, Pye, Odell, and Silas – characters I love so dearly – they were involved remotely in the story. And for small-town Pin Cherry Harbor, it just isn’t good for the tourists to have so many murders there. I love observing the romance between Mitzy and Eric slowly blossom. They are just so sweet! But it is becoming harder for Mitzy to hide her special “gifts” from Eric. If you are looking for a sweet quick cozy mystery read, I HIGHLY recommend this series. I did receive an Advance Reader Copy of this book. The opinions expressed are entirely mine.

My favorite book in this incredibly awesome series!

A cold case. Ice cold. Or is it? Will Mitzy stir up trouble? Silvertale managed to deliver her best book yet, and that’s saying something, because the others were already so great! This book touched my heart in so many ways; it had me laughing, it had me crying, it had humor, it had depth, it had layers; it had everything! Some parts were so moving, so beautiful, that I couldn’t help but cry. Other parts were laugh out loud funny, I laughed out loud so many times! And the rest in between had so many subtle and not-so-subtle moments of humor that I smiled throughout the whole book. When I wasn’t crying, that is; and those moments were all related to Mitzy losing her Mama when she was 11 years old. A very impressive story. Mitzy’s extrasensory perception makes the whole story even more interesting. And look at Mitzy, being all selfless and stuff! She has come a long way and as a reader, you can’t help but love her to bits. The mystery was great, too. A multi-layered story kept me interested and on the edge of my seat! This is a book that you really cannot miss out on! It deserves 10 stars! The author really outdid herself! Favorite quote: “Pyewacket bobs his head in a frighteningly human way, and I find myself wondering whether he’s more cogent than some of the guys I dated.”

Wonderful!!

Mitzy Moon and the rest of the residents of Pin Cherry Harbor are back!! Sheriff Erick has taken Mitzy out on a dinner date, but Mitzy doesn’t need her extra sensory powers to figure out that there’s something going on with Erick. When he pulls out a manila envelope and explains what he did, the tears start. When he shakes out a special necklace, the tears don’t stop. Erick contacted the Maricopa County, AZ Sheriff Department and got Mitzy’s mothers things sent up to Pin Cherry Harbor. There’s not much, but it’s enough. You see, Mitzy’s mom was killed in an accident when she was 11. At least that was the story, but after perusing the papers that were sent, it appears that Mitzy’s mother was murdered. Mitzy and Erick immediately make plans to head out to Arizona and set out to solve the cold case. With help from a detective in Arizona, they’re able to see the paperwork on the case, and can immediately see that there’s papers missing, and it also looks like there might be a crooked cop. With Mitzy and Sheriff Erick on the case, you can guarantee that the case will be solved, but will it be solved before the person who’s after them gets them? I swear these books just keep betting better and better. I loved the fact that Mitzy took Erick back to her old stomping ground after the case was solved. I’m glad to see the case solved and that she can have closure now and remember her mother. With great characters, wonderful writing, and a story that keeps you involved, you can’t go wrong with the Mitzy Moon Mystery Series. **I read this story using my Kindle Unlimited subscription

My Favorite In The Series

This is my favorite to date of the Mitzy Moon Series. In this book, Sheriff Harper and Mitzy are off to Arizona. Mitzy has learned that her mother’s death may have been a murder. Though it is now a cold case she is determined to seek justice for her mom. This book was an emotional one. As you can imagine, just finding out that a loved one was murdered will wreak havoc on your heart. Add in that you were only a child when it happened and it threw you into the foster care system. One can believe this may well be the most difficult sleuthing our heroine will have done. Over the last eight books we have watched Mitzy grow into a very different person from that first book. While this has been a wonderful journey to witness, I couldn’t help but wonder what had given Mitzy that chip of ice in her heart. Reading this book it becomes crystal clear. The sarcasm that held the tinge of icy anger was pain. Don’t worry. The story isn’t a downer. There are some comical moments as well as scary ones. The book, apart from being an intriguing mystery, gives wonderful insight into Mitzy that makes us appreciate all the more her personal growth. We can celebrate additional progress in her relationship with Erick. Silas, Ghost-Ma and Pyewacket are all a part of the story too. I absolutely love that the author found a way to keep them involved. So many times when a main character or two leave the normal setting, all the extra characters we love are left out of it. I was super happy to see them supporting Mitzy and helping her throughout the time she was in Arizona. If you haven’t read any of the series, I really hope you will. The first book, I didn’t much care for Mitzy. Now she is like a beloved member of my family. So if you find yourself not liking her much, stay with it. Give her a chance. Once you start seeing her thaw out I’m certain you will be hooked too. She is still sarcastic, (something I adore about her), but it is tempered by love and happiness. The story is ongoing but so is life. The books are fairly quick to read so you can catch up fast. If you are already reading the series, this is the one book you definitely do not want to miss. *I received an ARC for review consideration. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

Book doesn't disappoint

This ninth book in the Mitzy Moon Mysteries Series by Trixie Silvertale does not disappoint the reader in terms of snarkiness, hilarity, love, danger, and even some sadness as Mitzy and her too-hot-to-handle beau of a sheriff head on out to Arizona to work on solving the murder of her mother which she has discovered was covered up. The hilarity of the exchanges between Mitzy and her ghostma are superbly entertaining as always. And, of course, this story expands on the slowly developing love story between Mitzy and her hottie boyfriend. This book also features Pyewacket the cat as being more involved which helps further one of the paranormal aspects of the book, in addition to Mitzy's special talents. I am so looking forward to reading #10. This is a voluntary review of an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from Hidden Gems Books.

Will Mitzi and Erick survive Arizona?

On her way to Arizona with boyfriend, Erick Harper, Pin Harbor’s sheriff, this is not a vacation but an investigation to find who had her mother killed years ago. After years of thinking her mother had died in an accident, Erick recently discovered that she may have been killed to silence her. As a confidential informant for the Phoenix Metro Police Department, it seems her cover was blown, and she was killed to suppress whatever evidence she had. Unfortunately, the murder was unsolved. When their tires are slashed and bullets begin to fly, Mitzi and Erick are not sure they will survive the investigation. I love, love, love Mitzi and her adventures. Please, let there be more books in this series! This is my honest, voluntary review of an advanced reader copy of this book.

The best Mitzy so far.

The best Mitzy so far. But I tend to think that for each new book in this series! If you love magic and mystery, you really need to try this series. Mitzy just discovered that her mother, who she thought was accidentally killed when she was eleven, was actually murdered! Mitzy and her new beau Sherriff Erick have solved a lot of crimes in Pin Cherry Harbor. Can they take the team on the road and solve her mother’s murder? They run into problems from the very first day. Someone doesn’t want them digging into this cold case. Their tires are slashed, someone shoots through their hotel door and Mitzy is happy she brought along a disguise. Is it just the people Mitzy’s mother was informing against? Or could they be dealing with a crooked cop?

Best book of this series!

The BEST Mitzy Moon mystery yet! Set aside an afternoon to read this book, because if you start reading before bed, you'll be up all night! I literally couldn't put it down! At the end of the previous book Mitzy found out some disturbing facts about her mother's death and resolved to return to Arizona to discover the truth. Sheriff Harper accompanies Mitzy to provide his support and expertise. From the moment their plane takes off the action never stops! There are good cops and bad cops, disguises, seedy motels, burner phones, hints from Pyewacket and so much more! Mitzy and Erick follow the clues to a surprising and satisfying conclusion. I honestly couldn't put it down and I was so sad when I finished the book. I cannot wait for the next adventure! Well done Trixie Silvertale!!

Fabulous Read

When Mitzy Moon learns that her mother's death was no accident, she returns to Arizona along with Sheriff Erick Harper to solve the case. She leaves her feline and Ghost-ma behind for this case. Can she and Erick put the clues together and solve this decade long cold case. I received a copy of this book from Hidden Gems in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed this well-written book and getting to know the characters. I will admit that I have not read the other books in the series but will most definitely be remedying that. I was caught up from the beginning and kept hooked until the end. I'm looking forward to more from this series which would probably be best read in order and I highly recommend this book.

funny but a more serious side of Mitzy

I really enjoyed this book because it wasn't quite like the others in this series. I thought this book still had humor, which is always a plus, in my opinion, but it also provided us a different side of Mitzy. We got to see her more vulnerable side, not only the parts dealing with her mother, but also the parts dealing with Erick and opening up to him. I think in future books, we will see their relationship grow into something unbreakable; that could just be my wishful thinking, of course. Overall, I adore this series and the characters in it. I liked that this book brought a little more emotion to it, and I think that future books will see Mitzy continue to grow.

Wonderful

I just love the Mitzi Moon series and book 9 Tracks and Flashbacks just continues the tradition of this wonderful series! The real Joy of this the series and this book in particular is the characters. Mitzi Moon, sexy Sheriff Eric, ghost Ma,Pyewacket and Silas are just amazing characters that leave right off the page and feel like old friends. I absolutely loved visiting them once again in book 9. If you are reading Tracks and Flashbacks and meeting Mitzi Moon for the first time then I guarantee you will not be disappointed going back and reading the whole series. I can't wait for book 10 to come out. I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review

Don't miss this fun and touching cozy!

Don't miss this fun and touching cozy that is my favorite so far in an endearing series that captivated me immediately and I couldn't put the book down until I read the last word. Book nine in the Mitzy Moon Mysteries has Mitzy and Sheriff (too-hot-to-handle) Erick Harper leaving Pin Cherry Harbor to go find answers in Arizona regarding her mom's death which was no accident. "Tracks and Flashbacks" is the perfect book to escape for a little while and enjoy a well-written mystery with drama, humor, emotion, paranormal elements, great suspects, twists and turns. I received an advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my review.

Best one yet!

I was wondering how Ghost-ma, Pyewacket and Silas were going to make an appearance since Mitzi and Erick were going to Arizona. Brining them into the story was done beautifully! Pye is such a smarty! He really came through with the clues and using the video chat set up. This book was a tear jerker too! Learning about Mitzi’s mom was just so incredible. But there were some great laugh out loud moments too. I don’t know how, but again, this book was even better than the last one!

You’ll love this charming cozy mystery

This is the 9th book in this series and like the others, it works well as a standalone. Mitzy, the main character, is just snarky enough—I really like her. We learn more about her in this book as she solves her mother’s murder. Having lost my own mom when I was 18, this book really touches me. I’m also glad to see Mitzy and the sheriff continue their romance slowly. Like any good cozy mystery, solving the crime takes precedence over romance. I’m eager for the next book, as I’m enjoying all the characters so much. I recommend this book and series; I was provided a copy of this book, but these opinions are my own.

Another good book in the series

I love Mitzy Moon Mysteries! Tracks and Flashbacks felt different than the previous books. Mitzy and Erik go to Mitzy's home state of Arizona to solve the murder of Mitzy's mother. Mitzy is more subdued and less sassy in this book, but it makes sense for her character and works in the book. I love how Mitzy is subtly maturing and growing as a character- learning to love and trust others as well as develop her psychic talents. I am looking forward to reading the next chapter in Mitzy's life. I received an ARC of this book. I give my opinions in hopes to help others.

Mitzy and Erick's roadtrip!!

Yet another fun book from this series! Mitzy and Erick leave Pin Cherry Harbor to go to Arizona and investigate the death of her mother. Along the way, they become even closer. What she discovers could let her know how her mother died or get them killed. Ghostma and Pye help out via a phone she sets up for them. But, she can't let Erick know she's communicating with her cat and grandmother's ghost. And, it doesn't hurt that she goes under the name of "Darla" after donning one disguise. Lol. I love this book and this series. I am looking forward to the next installment.

Really a cozy mystery

The author's sense of writing and the style was fun and engaging. It was a light weight mystery and the author kept references fun. So many movie lines made me smile. The H was a likeable character but IMO found only in books. So he is a perfect H. The h had a quirky grandma and she was hilarious. All in all this is my first book of the author and what stood out was no swear words. I was happy with that. The psychic and alchemy were not exaggerated and kept minimum. The h keeps it a secret as long as possible. Finally a fun and quick read

Favorite of the series

🌟4.5🌟 Ghost, mysteries, cold cases, video calls with a caracal, a ghost, and an alchemist. All mixed up with some romance, suspense, and discovery. Tracks and Flashbacks is book 9 in the amazing Mitzy Moon series and it was the best one. Mitzy and the hottie sheriff have tires slashed, guns fired, a dirty cop, and so much more on their way to solving the unsolved cold case dealing with the murder of Mitzy’s mom years ago. The suspense, emotion, and romance kept me eagerly turning (or tapping on the kindle) each page.

Marvelous!

Finding out the truth about her mom is of utmost importance to Mitzy, so she heads back down to Arizona with Erick in tow. The case is a bit hotter than one would think after 11 years. In true Mitzy fashion she has all kinds of hunches, hijinks, and close calls as she attempts to break open a case so cold there is no evidence and the lead detective that was in charge of the case is of no help. I love Mitzy and her extra abilities! I loved reading this mystery and get a deeper sense of who she is! Marvelously written!

Must read

I really enjoyed this book. It made me laugh and cry. Mitzy heads back to Arizona with Sherrif “too hot to handle” to find out about her mother’s murder. As soon as they start looking their tires are slashed and people are acting fishy. Mitzy starts having flashback and remembering more about her mom. Her relationship with Sherif Harper seems to be advancing nicely too. She gets a final message from her mom which seems to comfort her. This was my favorite so far. I highly recommend this book and this series!

Entertaining Read!

This is the first book I've read by the author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The only thing that would have made it better for me was if I had read the others in the series first. I didn't feel lost however. This can be read as a standalone. I just like seeing how characters grow with each book. This one was well-written, with great characters, and an intriguing plot. I definitely recommend and plan on reading the rest of the series. I received an advanced reader copy which did not influence my review.

follow the clues

Are you ready for a mystery that will keep you guessing until the end? If you are this is the book to read. Mitzy and Eric are in for a wild time while they try to solve the mystery surrounding Mitzy’s Mothers death. Was it a murder? Was it an accident? Read and find out how a cold case turns very hot very fast. You will enjoy the characters and the world building that Trixie created for this series. This book belongs on your to be read pile and enjoyed. Highly recommend.

I’m hooked on Miss Moon!

It was nice to get some backstory on Mitzy’s past. I hadn’t realized that we didn’t know her mother’s name! I wondered how it was going to be without a lot of the regular characters (Grams, Silas, Pye, Odell, Paulson, Jacob...) but I was pleasantly surprised that it felt natural and didn’t seem awkward without them. I wouldn’t want that all the time but it was a good story the way it was. I’m hooked and can’t wait for Lies and Pumpkin Pies. Just keep ‘em coming.

Another hit for Trixie Silverdale

Mitzy and Erik take off for Arizona to uncover the truth of her mother's death. There are quite a few surprises in this book, which I think was one of the better ones of the series, but I really don't want to give anything away so I am not going to go into to much detail. Mitzy and Erik unearth a few secrets that someone will do anything to keep buried. Paranormal, romance, and a few murders to solve makes for a great story. I received a ARC copy from Hidden Gems Books and am leaving an honest review.

Off to AZ

Wow! Trixie has done it again. Every time I think I have a favorite book in this series, she blows me away with the next installment of Mitzy. This book was emotional, sweet, mysterious, and at times hilarious. I loved learning more about Mitzy's life, seeing her open up more with sheriff too hot to handle, and witnessing Pye's amazing awesomeness. I highly recommend this series for young adults and adults who want a fun fast cozy mystery.

Good Story

I had not read any of the previous stories in this series, but I received a free copy of this one and was excited to read it. I enjoyed reading this story and now look forward to reading the previous ones. In this story, Mitzy has found that her mother's death was not an accident, her mother was murdered. With the help of Erick, the sheriff of the small town they live in, travels to Arizona to help Mitzy find who is responsible for he mother's death.

Who can they trust?

I really like how Mitzy is taking her relationship with Erick slow. She wants to do it right and not rush things. How could she not fall in love with him when he starts to help her find out about her mother's murder. He is even taking vacation time to go with her to Arizona to solve the cold, cold case. She starts remembering things that happened while there and they unearth some information that leads to a dirty cop. Who can they trust?

Adventure and murder

This was by far the best one yet. It was so exciting I couldn’t put it down. Mitzy and Sheriff Harper go to Arizona to find out who killed her mother. They find they aren’t alone but someone is keeping tabs on them. Mitzy with the help of Ghostma and Pyewacket and Silas from home to solve the ok’d murder. Then after they catch up on some of her favorite places from when she lived there. I would love to see this become a tv show or movie someday.

What's better than a Caracal and a ghost Grandma to help you figure out a case?

I have loved this series from the beginning. If your looking for lots of sex, you won't find it here. It is a well written story about a girl who grew up thinking she was all alone in the world who finds she's inherited an unusual bookstore, a large Caracal and her ghost Grandma lives in the bookstore. She's falling for the Sherriff and they are having a sweet romance, but so far it hasn't gone any farther than that. I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.

Forgotten Memories

After having received her mother's belongings, some ten years after her death, Mitzy and her boyfriend, Sheriff Eric Harper, go back to her home town of Sedona, Arizona. They intend to find out exactly what happened, as the cause of death didn't add up. It would seem that she had been murdered. Mitzy and Eric enlist the help of a Sedona detective to find out what they could and see if they could bring the killer to justice.

The past

The past can haunt you if you let it, but what if you only have bits and pieces? Mitzy knows her mom had an accident and later in life finds out she was murdered and the murder is still out there. With her new boyfriend Sheriff Erik Harper she will return to Arizona and bring her mom's murder to justice. Pye and grams ghost still help with a new device that Pye can answer.

I would give it more stars if it let me.

This is a fantastic read! I loved the whole story. It's well written and reads real fast. I read it in a day and wished it didn't end. interesting and fun characters. Great “who done it” story. No graphic sex or gory violence. It does have a tiny bit of violence just not gory. This is the 4th one of this series that I've read and I can't get enough. I recommend for all ages.

Another fabulous cozy mystery!

Even though I say it after each book in this series, this is my favorite so far. I love that these cozy mysteries are fast easy reads because I struggle to put them down. A mystery surrounded by some paranormal with a splash of romance and some elements of surprise make these books delightful to read. I cannot wait to read what kind of mess Mitzy gets herself into next!

Mitzy Returns to Arizona

Mitzy and hot Sheriff Erick take off to Sedona to solve the murder of Mitzy’s mom. This is interesting as there’s very little Pyewacket and Ghostma, and just a significant little of Silas. This turns into a wild chase as the cold case is a little more active than they thought. I enjoyed this book and loved the development of the relationship between Erick and Mitzy.

not enough stars for this one!

I have read & enjoyed every book in this series, this one is my favorite so far. While I love Pin Cherry, it was great to see a glimpse of what Mitzys life was like in AZ. She & Erick go on a quest to find out what really happened to her mother all those years ago. I laughed, I cried, I really loved this one! I look forward to more.

Very emotional read, can't put down

I really wish I could give this one more then 5 stars. My favorite of all time so far. After finding out that her mother was murdered, mitzy will stop at nothing until she gets justice. But will the killer stop her before she can stop the killer? Make sure you have the time to read the whole book as you won’t want to put it down.

Can Mitzy solve her mom's murder

What a fun book. This the 9th book in the series. I haven't read the others, but I am excited to go back and read them now. Erick Harper, Mitzy's boyfriend, uncovers somethings about Mitzy's mom's death. Now she will stop at nothing to figure out what happened to her mom. I was given a free copy in return for my honest review.

Another can't miss Mitzy Moon book!!

This series just keeps getting better with each new book. This time Mitzy & Pin Cherry Harbor's Sheriff Eric are going to Arizona to find out the mystery of her mother's death. Even though it's mostly set in Arizona, Ghost-ma and Pyewacket are ready to help anyway they can from back home. I received an ARC for my honest review.

Wonderful

This book for me was by far her greatest in the series she is doing an awesome job of writing each book and I can’t wait to get the next book I just love the characters in the stories and how she writes her stories. This is one book that will be worth getting you won’t go wrong and you’re going to enjoy it a lot

Another great book in an wonderful series

I really enjoyed reading this book. Mitzy and her special powers ales a great detective and having Erick along makes it even better. The two find themselves in Arizona looking for her mother’s killer. They run into all kinds of obstacles but will they be able to solve the mystery? Read to find out!

My favorite yet!!! Such a fun and entertaining read!!

Another amazing book by Triixie!! I adore this series and can never wait to see what Mitzie gets into next but this one has to be my favorite yet! Finding out about her mother was just so amazing and it was just a really good read! The story just flowed and I couldn’t put it down! Now I’m waiting on pins and needles for the next!!! Hurry Trixie!!!

Excellent!

Great mystery without all the usual characters - Erick and Mitzy travel to Arizona to figure out what happened to Mitzy's mom ten years before. Things are heating up between Sheriff-Too-Hot-To-Handle and our newly minted heiress! So much fun as well as some serious sleuthing. My favorite so far!

📚📿🛩⚱⚰💄💏

I received this book free from an ARC. I absolutely love this series. And this one is no exception. I loved it! Mitzy and Erick's relationship grows stronger. And so do his suspicions about Mitzy's abilities. Mitzy gets some much needed closure about her mom and we learn a little about Cora.

great series

I received this book as a gift from an ARC group that I belong to and it was a very fun read. Its actually the second Mitzi Moon I've read, and I need to rectify that. The story was exciting and the characters are great, the only complaint I have is that I think its number 9 and I need to catch up!

I love Mitzie Moon

Mitzie's back again with her hunk of a sheriff (almost) boyfriend. Her Mom's death was no accident and they are on their way to find out just who dunnit. I've really enjoyed every one of these books. I hope they keep coming for a long time! I received an advance copy for my honest review.

Another amazing story

Wow, this one will hit you hard with all of the ,editions and leave you worn out. The writing was excellent, the mystery perfect and I absolutely loved all of the Mitzy and Erick time.

Finally putting mom to rest.

I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book and this is my unbiased review. Another amazing tale full of mystery, danger and more twists than a mountain road. Finally getting to see depth develop between the Sheriff and Mitzy. Keep them coming and I will keep reading.

Finding your past can be painful and suprising

This book is tear jerking, laugh out loud funny and heart racing. The author has made the mystery seem personal to the reader. As someone who has lived in Arizona, descriptions of the landscape and the cultural spectrum are spot on.

Extra special book in the Mitzy Moon series

Mitzi and the Sheriff are off to solve the murder case of Mitzi's Mother in Phoenix. Mitzi is a character that has a sarcastic humorous side that is hilarious. The mystery plot is smart with twist that I did not expect. Excellent!
