Momo is the younger sister of Lala, the alien princess who has long since been engaged to the human Rito. Although Rito’s heart continues to waver between Lala and his first crush, Haruna, Momo finds herself unable to deny the feelings she has for the hapless human male. Instead of giving up, Momo attempts to surround Rito with a harem of beautiful women, all working towards urging him to marry Lala, become crowned as King, and as a result, be allowed to marry his entire harem―Momo included!

Some good stories featuring Lala and Mikan

I doubt that either of the To Love Ru titles will ever become top favorite titles, but they have proven compelling enough to keep me reading them. Volume 3 of Darkness is very heavy on the fan service, but once you get past that, there is some interesting character development. A prior reviewer thought Lala an airhead, but we have a story that shows the clever way she looked after her sisters when they were growing up. Another story has Mikan feeling upset because of jealousy over Momo. The volume starts with a funny story about Rito going out with the shape-shifting Run and Momo and some of the other girls decide to spy on them. Sometimes the wardrobe malfunctions and frequent bathing scenes are a bit much (well, at least these girls practice good personal hygiene ), but at least the story is strong enough to hold a reader.

Great addition to a great series.

This truly is the better series, and not because of the fan-service, really. I have been reading To Love Ru alongside To Love Ru Darkness, and I get so much more out of this series than the original. I like the idea of having a devious main female character in Momo rather than the airhead archetype of Lala. Plus this series immediately gets to the good stuff by having Golden Darkness present from the get-go. While this series can dwindle into borderline hentai moments that do not really serve a purpose, I cannot fault this series for remaining true to itself. I love the pace that they're releasing this things.

Harem romance, fan service, adult sexy, but fun fantasy

Excellent art, interesting story, if a trifle erratic at times. Not afraid to laugh at itself.

Five Stars

Liked it very much

Kindle?

Seven Seas, would you kindly put this up available for kindle? I really want to keep reading these series but as long as it's just paperback, I can't.

I like manga.

Fun series, lots of ecchi romcom.

My Son Loves These Books

superfast deliver and great product

Pretty good

Some very subtle damage on the cornners of the book, but every thing else is fine. And this is cheaper than buying at manga store because the retail price if you buy at store is $15.99 Can.

História de respeito !

Veio tudo ok , tudo dentro dos conformes e a história muito boa como de costume.
