Thomas Kinkade: The Disney Dreams Collection 2017 Wall Calendar

This calendar is a bright addition to the kitchen where I keep the family calendar. I do with there was more room on the days for notes since my dentist uses an appointment card with an adhesive sticker that fills almost the entire square when I put it on the calendar. I could rewrite it directly onto the calendar, but "ain't got time for that." I love how this calendar has art from movies my son hasn't seen yet. It creates some good Disney history conversations and every child should be well versed in Disney animation history, right?

Though I realize the calendar shots are smaller potions of a whole painting, I'm a little confused by their choices on some of them. For instance, the month depicting a scene-scape 'Lady & the Tramp' doesn't actually have Lady, or The Tramp in the larger portion of the picture. Instead there is a small image of them next to the month name. Just several slightly odd choices , but over all, beautiful images.

After seeing actual Thomas Kinkade Disney paintings for the first time, I wanted to find them in something that I could afford; enter the Thomas Kinkade Disney calendar! Just like movies that show on TV, these pictures have been modified to fit your screen, or in this case, calendar. However, the detail and beauty of these prints are still awesome! Kinkade has a knack for hiding other Disney characters in each painting and you'll probably spend a bit of time searching for some of them. From Fantasia, to Aladdin, to Tangled, this has 12 months worth of stunning prints that capture classic Disney movies.

It's a calendar, so yes, it is predictable. Anyway this is really cool for any Disney fan. The movies included in the paintings are The Jungle Book, Tangled, Bambi, The Princess and the Frog, Pirates of the Caribbean, Winne the Pooh, Cinderella, Snow White, Fantasia, Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Lady and the Tramp Very nicely done wall calendar, a favorite for kids and adults.

I love this calendar I will definitely be purchasing a gun for 2018. I wish I would have found it this last year. The pictures are beautiful I just wish the calendar was a lot bigger because it is fairly small in my opinion. But do not listen to me because I just love Big calendars.

The images are very beautiful and it should be noted that only 6 of the paintings are duplicated between the two calendars, so 6 are also unique to each calendar. Also the suggested retail on the back of this calendar is $14.99 so you're getting a good deal!

Great calendar! I particularly loved the non-princess pages: Pirates, Winnie-the-Pooh, etc. If there had been only, say, 40% princesses instead of 80%, I would have liked it even better. (Look, the child I got it for loves princesses, but that's not the ONLY thing she loves, and I'd like to keep it that way.) Still, it's a very pretty calendar, and she'll be pleased.

Okay I'm not sure why it asked me to rate this as a book, but it is a great calendar. Got it as a gift for a Disney fanatic and she loved it. The images are beautiful and in great quality. Thomas Kinkade + Disney is a great combination.

The art work by Kinkade is wonderful, and the Disney stories woven into his art make the calendar a wonderful gift for a female friend or family member of any age.

I love these calenders! I have been getting these calenders for three years now and I always love them. I am also a huge Disney fan so I love these. Every year there are a few new designs and I love finding them out when I get the new one. The most I like about the 2017 calender is that on some of the pictures, there are characters from other movies in them and I just love it. Would totally recomend to anyone who likes or loves Disney items.

Bought this for my wife for Christmas. She and I both are big Disney fans and now we get to track the days to our next vacation and also remember important things to do, etc on this brilliantly stunning calendar. I'd definitely recommend.

This calendar is SOOOO BEAUTIFUL and absolutely adorable. For some reason, I thought it was a small or mini calendar, but when it arrived, I discovered it's a full-sized calendar and it's gorgeous. It is even better in person. The pictures are magical and the paper is nice and thick, very high quality. Get this calendar while the year is young :).

Considering that this is a calendar and not a book it was full of surprises. Who would have ever thought to find Mickey Mouse inside a Thomas Kinkade painting? Thomas Kinkade is known for the nostalgic homey type paintings. But yet, the calendar just goes on at the steady pace of one day at a time.

This is the second Disney Dreams calendar I have Purchased. There are two designs in the calendar that were not in the previous if Your looking for the Aladdin Thomas Kinkade design or the Princess and the Frog Artwork. The 2016 Disney Dreams calendar is the one you want to purchase, the only downside is I think the 2015 (last years) calendar had a Sharper Image to the Photos.

Very pretty calendar. Give a calendar to my adult daughter every year since old enough to read. She is also a disney loving person! This is one will not disappoint. I especially love how a small picture is added to the actual calendar page. A nice added touch.

This review is hilarious because it thinks this is a story book. We love the calendar, my kids have enjoyed finding all the hidden characters in each painting.

It is a brightly colorful calendar. My granddaughters insist that we look through each page every time they visit.

I love Thomas Kinkade prints, I even have one framed! I was hoping for the full effect of the prints in the calendar, but I don't see all of the "Easter eggs" in the pictures. Maybe because the prints are cropped. It was slightly disappointing, but still a stunning calendar that I will enjoy all year!

My father is a huge Kinkade fan and I grew up loving his work and Disney, and the two mixed together is breathtaking!

This was actually a gift for my sister for Christmas! We absolutely love Thomas Kinkade and his work, especially Disney! These are the images of many of his puzzles. They also have hidden Mickey's and other hidden characters in many. I love reading about each of his images and the hidden things in each.

So cute and beautiful and not a bad price at all! I love it. I hope there's new artwork for 2017 cause I'll want to get it next year too.

Very colorful calendar and has large spaces for each day which is hard to find in most calender's. I am able to write all my appointments in the space allotted and each picture is so full of animation

I'm not sure why Amazon thought this was a book, because it's a wall calendar. As a calendar, it's top notch. As a book, it's predictable, light-hearted, slow (a page a month), and well-developed (nice pictures).

I love the Thomas Kinkade 2016 Calendar. I've been buying the Kinkade Calendar every year for quite a while now. I especially like that there is so much room to write in each dated square. We're so buys everything goes on the calendar!

Just got my 2016 DIsney Thomas Kinkade calendar and it's gorgeous. It's very bright and vibrant. The pictures are stunning. The pictures include most of the princesses including Jasmine (and Aladdin), Ariel and Eric, Snow White, Tatiana, Belle and Beast, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. Other characters include Pinnochio, Mickey, Mowgli, Lion King, Lady and the Tramp, and lastly Peter Pan and Tinkerbell. It's AWESOME. Standard sized calendar. The pictures almost look 3D because they're layered art. I will love it all year long.

Beautiful artwork on a good quality paper. The first page covers the last four months of 2015. The pictures in this full size calendar are worthy of framing when the year is over. Amazon saves you about 3 dollars off the marked price.

This Disney calendar series is a family tradition. Even my grown kids love it and it's a treat to turn the page for the next month and hunt for all the applicable Disney movie characters in each scene.

I bought this for my daughter's bedroom so they can see special occasions and can understand time when these events will happen. They love the Disney characters and the nature scenes bring color into their room.

It's okay, but it's probably the least favorite of the Thomas Kinkade calendars I've purchased, and I've purchased 1-2 annually for over a decade.

Does not fit the Kinkade calendar wood frames. Thought all the Kinkade wall calendars were the same size. I guess my fault for not paying attention to the size. Don't buy if intended for wall frame. Otherwise beautiful calendar, but wasted money on it.

I love Disney and Thomas Kincade. This is the perfect combination.

Each year, I choose a calendar to give to family and friends that speak to what has either gone on in their lives the last year or what I think they will enjoy. In this case, I purchased this calendar for my daughter whose family enjoyed their first trip to Disneyland together. The artwork in the calendar is beautiful and is instantly recognizable as Thomas Kinkade. It brings a whole new appreciation of the Disney characters. The calendar is the standard size wall calendar and is well made. It is staple bound so you can easily use the prints after the year is up.

I purchased this wall calendar for a few images, The Tangled Boat Scene, The Pirates Scene, Cinderella the clock strikes midnight (this image was cropped at the top and sides as well as a couple of others, tiana, lady and the tramp) the Cinderella scene left me wanting a little more detail. Mainly they left the Pirates and Tangled photos alone and those were the images I wanted Most..

ZERO stars. This calendar had water damage BEFORE it shipped. The top left corner stuck together. I tried to separate the pages very carefully but EVERY page tore. The outer package had no sign of water damage. The calendar was wrapped on plastic and had a cardboard insert which clearly showed signs of water damage as well.... RIP OFF, BIG TIME!!!!

I love this calendar! Just FYI for those that complain that the prints are mostly the same for every year--- Thomas Kinkade passed away in 2012, so he probably won't be creating anything new! This really is a beautiful calendar and the whole family loves it!

I love the work of Thomas Kinkade and my children and I of course love Disney. I saw this calendar a couple years ago and have wanted it since! I was able to get it during an Amazon sale for 50% off, but I would have paid the full price! Shipping was quick and I was so excited to finally check out all of the pictures, as were my daughters. Each picture is beautiful in it's own way and definitely have that unique Thomas Kinkade touch to them! We went through each month checking our birthday months (mine is November, which happens to be Lady & the Tramp, my favorite!) and we love it! I would definitely recommend this calendar to anyone who enjoys Thomas Kinkade's work or Disney movies, even at the full price of $15!

As always, Thomas Kinkade pictures are beautiful. I have been getting a Disney calendar for my kitchen for almost 7 yrs now. The only downside is that the pictures are always so similar. Seems they may remove 2-3 and replace with a new picture, but the others remain the same. So many Disney movies with fantastic scenes to choose from... I think it's time to change the rotation a bit. Other than that, simply beautiful and what a great price!
