Thomas Kinkade Painter of Light 2019 Deluxe Wall Calendar

For the most part, this is a high-quality, beautiful calendar. The pictures for eleven of the months are beautiful. But I'm a little confused about the picture for August. It depicts a downtown street, and there are old-fashioned cars, a man in a suit wearing a hat riding a bicycle, and...what appears to be two prostitutes standing by an old-fashioned street lamp. What's that all about? Also, there are a lot of holidays from different countries listed, and it takes up a lot of space in some of the squares which could be a problem if someone wanted to write in an appointment. For instance, on March 11. there are four holidays listed for Australia which take up almost the entire square: "Eight Hours Day", "Canberra Day", "Labour Day", and "Commonwealth Day". Maybe they are all important holidays in Australia, I don't know. All in all, though, the pictures are beautiful, and the numbers are large and dark. There is also a "notes" section for every month.

I purchased this as a gift for my mom, at Christmas, as she was wanting a little something different, than the ones she's had, wanting one with the large squares, with plenty of space to write appointments and things in, without running out of room. I wasn't sure that this would be what she wanted and needed, but decided to take a chance and ordered it. She has since said that this is one of the best calendars she's ever had.

The prints are a great replica. The calendar is the deluxe size and has plenty of room to write in each day. There is also a note section for each month. It also includes a small calendar block for the previous month and the upcoming month. Fits perfect in the Thomas Kinkade Calendar Frame. I purchase one every year from Amazon.

I know some people consider the artwork of Thomas Kinkade to be trite and over commercialized, but as a confirmed Anglophile, I love his paintings. Only one problem - I found the same calendar at Walmart for $2 cheaper. That doesn't happen often with the Amazon purchases - a bit of a disappointment. ......but I love my calendar!

I love Thomas Kinkade the PAINTER OF LIGHT. I always renew each year since a while ago a wooden wall frame that is the size of this calendar, opened, can have a new one put in. It is so lovely and people never stop complimenting....I also think anything he sells is worth buying....high quality merchandise....he started out small, and worked hard....he has huge faith and believes....he deserves all he has earned.

The paper used to print the calendar is sturdy and hard backed with the usual hole at the top for hanging on a wall. I'm not an art person and I have no opinion on Kinkcade's work, but based on the scenes I see, it would make nice decoration in just about any setting.

In retrospect, I wish I would have ordered another one for a friend. This is an exceptional wall calendar with different detailed landscape paintings for each month. It is a large enough size to have space for notes on each date.

I will have the calendar on my wall the first of Jan. and am a huge Thomas Kinkade fan and would recommend the beauty to any one that loves scenery and sayings.

It is a calendar..what more can I say? Until I can get my husband to rely solely on his iPad or iPhone calendar we will use this. Have purchased a Kinkade calendar for many, many years and always enjoyed the pictures.

I've been getting this Kinkade calendar for probably 10 years. It's nice and big with plenty of room to fill up the dates with my activities and no bleed through. Excellent calendar with art work from my favorite artist.

I get a TK calendar every year. All year long I'm happy because of the beautiful scenes depicted in his paintings.

You can never beat a Kinkade calendar. It's not the cheapest but it's always the best. Splurge on a nice-looking calendar for the whole year is well worth it. Highly recommended!

Beautiful calendar as always...however I do have one disappointment with it. I have a wooden Kinkade calendar frame that I’ve used for fifteen years or more to hang and display these calendars. Unfortunately I guess they’ve changed the size of the calendars as this one is about an inch and a half narrower than the old one, and will not fit into the frame I use. It’s too small and slides right out.

About the best calendar I've ever owned. It's enormous...13.5 inches by 12 inches, but it's so nice, I'll make room for it. It's an eye-catcher.
