This book is powerful, a wealth of knowledge to help reduce stress. It will guide you along your path to creating optimal health and well-being. It has 25 amazing chapters written by 25 brave people courageous enough to share real life journeys. Many stories I connected with on a personal level allowing me to identify these stresses exist in my own life. Each chapter offers guidance, tools and stragities to help you achieve physical and emotional well-being. There is an abundance of resources for stress relief and self-help. I will be using this book often as a reference guide to help me along my journey to optimal health and well-being! The Wellness Universe Guide to Complete Self-Care: 25 Tools for Stress Relief is a must read, must own!
So informative, so helpful!
Like many other women, I find that my energies are most often directed outward, in nurturing and caring for those around me, while neglecting my own self-care. I knew I had to be kinder to myself, but how does one begin? In my search for a remedy, I've found it daunting at times to find a method or philosophy that works with my lifestyle, and how I think, without investing more time and effort than I truly have to give. This book may have solved that dilemma. Each chapter is a concise introduction to one method of stress management, with clear explanations of its benefits and methodology, with enough information to help the reader decide if the method might be worth researching further. I found myself especially drawn to Tapping for Turbulent Times by the Rev. Jennifer Moore. Having tried tapping/EFT once a few years ago (and being utterly amazed at the results,) I've always wanted to revisit it as a way to manage the effects of past trauma. The author gave a good overview of the technique, how it has helped her, and how one can use tapping as a form of self-care. Her simple, easy to follow instructions guided me through a solo tapping session during an especially difficult week. The effects were both subtle and powerful; I definitely plan to invest more time learning about the technique, based on that experience. I was also drawn to The Seven Second Mindshift, by Donna Blevins, PhD. Calm on demand? Seems too good to be true, but give it a chance, like I did. It's a neat little technique, easy enough to implement, it works, and she explains in some detail why it works. I've found myself practicing it during the day, and I really do feel a difference in just a few seconds. If I had a time machine, I'd give a copy of this book to myself, age 25. I definitely have a feeling I'll end up buying multiple copies of and gifting them to friends this year. I

My theme of the year has been self-care due to all the stress in the world. This book was recommended to me by a healing practitioner. The book is easy to read and each chapter has a personal story and wisdom from the author plus a tool for self-healing. The practical and easy-to-use mindset tools and energetic strategies to decrease stress are invaluable to help power up my self-care and reduce stress. I'm grateful I found this book!!! Guide to complete self-care is the perfect book for the current times of uncertainty because it walks you through to a journey of finding your true self and to be certain of your own healing and creative capabilities. We all know people who have a sizable collection of wellness books (OK, OK, I’m one of them). So, when I picked up a copy of The Wellness Universe Guide to Complete Self-Care, I envisioned it happily taking its rightful place on my shelf. But from the moment I turned to the first page, I couldn’t put it down. Because it happens to be 25 separate books in 238 pages. Written by experts in their particular field, each chapter deals with definitive ways to balance, heal, and empower your life that includes everything from meditation to tapping and everything in between. As an example, there is Nancy Stevens’ Finding Calm in Daily Routine: A Step By Step Guide, Mindful Nutrition for Mental Wellbeing: Choosing Foods to Help Lift Your Mood, by Linda Gillan, Effective Decision Making: Eliminating Conflict and Confusion by Melissa Jirovec, and Embracing Life: Strategies for a Life Well-Lived, by Jim Phillips. Sure, not every book can be everything, but this one is perfect as a one-stop encyclopedia of a myriad of proven ways of improving your life.

In these uncertain times it’s great to have a tool such as this book. Whether you have anxiety over elections, stress over every day life, Covid concerns, or trauma in your life you will find a practice that enables you to heal. Daily practice becomes a routine, routines become habits, habits become lifestyle, lifestyle becomes fulfilling your journey.
Easy to read and easy to utilize in your life
The best thing about this book is that there's something for everyone whether you're a skeptic, extremely woo-woo spiritual or something in between. I lean more toward the woo-woo side of things but one of my skeptic friends loved the story I read to him and has already started using the suggested tools. I suspect he'll buy the book before the week is over! 25 chapters tell 25 unique stories about mental, physical and emotional wellness journeys. There's practical advice, tools and tricks you can customize and a deeply credentialed, caring group of authors who share their relatable personal stories. It's definitely worth the purchase!

“I am enjoying every chapter of this remarkable book. Each chapter has something different to offer. Chapter 2. I found helpful that Gratitude is a natural antidepressant. Chapter 4 by Jim Phillips gave me relief. I mean I actually exhaled when reading it. Because of quarantining and politics I found it very hard to be perfectly human. I realized I have been judging myself for feeling angry which kept me in a not so good space. Jim’s words allowed me to release my resistance and to flow a little better with life. So it put me in a higher vibration. Personally I will use this book as a “pick me up and I’m okay guide. A big thank you to all who have contributed to this beautifully written book.

Learn and Know Your Body's Healing Power
An excellent collection of personal challenges and struggles and the search for the right fit of modality and/or treatment that worked for each of the authors. This can sometimes take many years working with different techniques, understanding the energy of the body within and without, and coming to know your own body very well. I applaud my partners at The Wellness Universe for opening their hearts, spirits, and expertise to serve this world in which we now find ourselves. Extremely valuable tools for today's crazy world!
This is book offers many different perspectives from amazing writers and coaches who have many years of experience helping people. As an author and life coach myself, I felt that each chapter was beautifully written and offered practical advice that anyone can apply to their lives. I also like the variation and reading the different writing styles. Kudos to my dear friend, Jim Phillips, a contributing author to this book. Well done everyone!
An excellent resource that I will use often and over time
This book is full of wisdom—brought to life through the stories of each chapter author, and including practical, detailed tools for applying each approach. Many of these stories immediately resonated with me, and I am already putting a couple of approaches to use. As I seek to build my own strength, resilience, and self-care resources, this book will be an excellent reference for me that I am sure I will revisit often and over time!

Tools for Stress Relief and Beyond
As a health and wellness practitioner I love providing quick and easily instructed tools for my patients. This book delivers some really wonderful insights and tools that not only reinforce my existing toolbox but provides areas to explore in further depth. It has also reminded me of of tools that I have not used in quite a while. I think this is a good reminder from a duality sense that as a healer and facilitator of healing, self care and the ability to teach our patients tools is imperative and so needed in order to be good stewards of the wellness journey. A great go-to book for practical and workable answers
This book allows you to go to the core of what your symptoms tell you. Unlike a typical appointment that treats only the symptom with a pill for a quick fix, this book holds a wealth of information about how to deal with and "fix" what is causing the symptoms. The title of this book says it all! So many wonderful Tools for Stress Relief, my favorite is Chapter 11on DETOXIFY DISCOVER AND RELIEVE TOXIC STRESS by Rosemary Levesque, LSH, she shares a easy four-step process to shift your energies by uses the Four A's and awareness is one of them. It is worth the time to read this amazing book!

PRAISE for The Wellness Universe Guide to Complete Self-Care This amazing collection of stories and techniques for self-care has something for everyone across the broad spectrum of mind, body, heart and soul. There is no doubt that you will find and create a better version of yourself by utilizing the tools from this collection. The wellness guides and practitioners featured are powerful and heartfelt healers, leading the way to health, healing and transformation. Their vulnerable and authentic personal stories resonate, draw the reader in and inspire action. Personal favorites: Chapter One - “Finding Calm in Daily Routine” by Nancy Stevens, Life and Health Coach. I barely got through the first page and I could immediately see and hear myself in the story from Nancy. Foundational to every day wellness. Chapter 3 - “Tapping for Turbulent Times’ by Rev. Jennifer Moore, Accredited EFT Master Trainer. Jennifer’s support and expertise have been a godsend through some of the most difficult times in my life. I am forever changed and grateful. Chapter 4 - “Embracing Life” by Jim Phillips, LIFE Strategist. A quote from the chapter: “Life always presents what is required to bring about what is needed for the fulfillment of life’s purpose.” A resounding AMEN! I believe this book is a timely tool on my life purpose journey. Chapter 7 - “Effective Decision Making” by Melissa Jirovec, Mindset Strategist. How do you make confident, committed decisions that are always right, always beneficial, and always moving you forward? 1. Know what you truly want (eliminating confusion). 2. Know who you truly want to be (eliminating conflict). YES! Super impactful! Need to do this exercise asap!
A Self-Help Tool Kit in a Book!
Self-help is by far the best tool we have as human beings. The 25 authors in this book have encompassed so many brilliant ways to help ourselves with stress, anxiety, over-whelm, and more... In the times we are living through right now in 2020, we have to know how to stay sane, useful, caring and sharing, among other things. Each Chapter gives us another delightful tool to do just that. I especially love what Ilene Dillon wrote in her chapter. She is the EXPERT on EMOTIONS. Emotions can make or break us. I highly recommend this book to all who want to add to their knowledge of how to help themselves. Thank you to all 25 authors!

It has been a wonderful learning experience reading and practicing the exercises in well designed Self-Care/Stress Relief book. The various chapter authors bring experiential learning that supports peace of mind and body, and alignment with the universe through diverse and complementary content. The flow of the book supports the reader in terms of habits and various disciplines that align head and heart. It can be read and practiced from start to end, or a reader can choose to start with any chapter – one that makes sense for the day or week to bring calm from a chaotic life. A book of ideas to help with stress relief? Yes please! This book is full of easy to follow helpful information. I love the different insights each author offers. They are each given a chapter to share their gift, experience, and practical exercise. There are many different tools to try depending on how one might want to address a given situation. If one doesn’t resonate with you in a particular case there are twenty four more great ideas ready to assist. I appreciate the personal experiences the authors offer as well. If ever there was a time when I needed inspiration and get help with my anxiety it is NOW. The Wellness Universe Guide to Complete Self-Care was EXACTLY what I needed to read. This book is full of terrific ideas, and tips about how to take care of myself. I loved the many different authors who contributed their thoughts, encourage and advice for stress relief. Each chapter was better than the next. I highly recommend this book to anyone needing a practical guide for coping in this very turbulent world of uncertainty and chaos. Can't Believe All The Insights and Tips!
25 incredible authors share their personal stories of triumph. Their journeys are inspiring and cover such a wide variety of topics. Life changing stories and tools covering -earthing, EFT, ego/soul, mindset, chakras, and breathwork to name a few. This book opened my eyes even further to what the human race is capable of overcoming and achieving. I especially loved learning about each individual author, their service and passions. If you want to inspired, or learn more tools to use daily to your best life this book is for you.

During these uncertain times, finding and maintaining one’s center is more critical than ever. I have read just the first half of this book and am finding those golden nuggets to stay balanced. The many authors all speak from their hearts and I am finding that most enjoyable.

As a counselor, the authors provided me with so many ways to help my students. This is a truly transformative book! Each chapter is a personal and unique perspective from 25 of the top experts in the wellness universe and includes personal stories, tools, and strategies for improving all aspects of life. Great Variety of Easy to Digest Stress Relief Techniques
I love the choose your own adventure story feel of this book. You're presented with a myriad of techniques and coping mechanisms to deal with stress, each in a bite sized, easy to digest package. It's then easy to choose what tactics work the best for you! I wish I had had this book at the beginning of 2020, but I know it will serve me well in the future!

Twenty-five contributors, all but two of them women, describe the tools they used to recover from unhappiness caused by trauma, losses of various kinds, illness, unemployment, relationship problems and other issues. The methods they used varied widely, encompassing physical, mental, and/or spiritual techniques. Among these many stories a reader may well find one or more tools that can be used to create a happier life.

This is a great book. Each chapter is complete and gives you what you want to know and need to do. And if you want to go deeper into any subject, the author's information is there and you can connect with them.

Do yourself a favor and get this book! I couldn’t put it down. These tools for stress relief are simple yet so effective. I read the wellness universe guide to self-help and healing. It is a wonderfully written book. It consists of 25 different people, each writing one chapter. The writers all write from the heart. It is written so simply yet so beautifully. I recommend this book very highly.

This book Wellness Guide to complete Self care is just another hit in a series of Self care books that you can use to assist during a time such as this..... From Gratitude to Tapping to Nutrition, Breathwork to Chi Yoga to create flow to balance body and calm the mind to ways to De Clutter your mind, How to use Angel Energy and a 7 second mind shift just to name a few of the 25 ways to get stress relief during these trying of times. You will use so many of these as you resonate with them. Use them daily. I am so very glad I have this in my arsenal for Self care during a time such as this - we are in. Thank you for making these books with several modalities included. Brings light to things that we may not have heard of.

By far one of my favorite self care books. I love how much variety it offers. The authors present fantastic opportunities to delve into the material with so many different useful topics and exercises that will have a positive effect on your life. Immersing yourself in material like this can truly be life changing.
Divine timing for this comprehensive self-care resource
I have immersed myself in self-care classes, books, webinars, podcasts, blogs, and videos for years. My shelves are stocked with titles from all the leading voices. And yet, I have never held as comprehensive a resource as this. Each chapter is written by a different expert, who explores a philosophy, routine, practice, or perspective for self-care. The collective is a powerful compendium for living more completely and at peace. Topics run the gamut from how to cultivate a calming breathing practice to mindful eating, to ridding yourself of toxic relationships and making more effective decisions. Because each chapter is self-contained, you can jump around from topic to topic, following the concepts and ideas that inspire on any given day. In spite of my long-running pursuit of self-care rituals, I was actually introduced to some new strategies and practices (like Tapping). With a "long, dark winter ahead," I think the timing of this book is divine. It holds something for everyone (and likely lots of things!) for coping and achieving calm in the coming days. Kudos to the team that brought this impressive list of though-leaders and healers together. Thank you for this important work.
Timely toolkit for navigating today's challenges
This is a much needed book for these times, as we struggle with unprecedented anxieties and stresses. We all face unique challenges and different tools help different people so it is particularly helpful to be able to explore so many possibilities in one resource. The personal stories bring a resonance to the individuality of each situation whilst also serving to exemplify the power of the tools available. Well done Wellness Universe.
A must have book to deal with modern day stress.
Wonderfully written, easy to read and full of practical steps for self care and healing. I would highly recommend this book for anyone who is on a healing journey. It is a must have book to cope with the modern world and the stresses that come with modern living. I will be passing this down to my children, especially my daughter who is 15 and about to enter into the adult world very soon.

A really amazing practical book!
A wonderful book with great authors who share their own experiences with the readers. The personal stories are truly touching and the tips given simply amazing. Many of the tips can be immediately put into practice. Some of the stories really touched me because they seem to describe my own life. Reading them just made me say YES, YES, YES, this is how I feel. But how can I change this situation? This book offers such a variety of impulses. It is important that you act because everyone is the master of their own happiness! Many thanks to the authors for the great book!

I absolutely loved this book .The information was extremely well written by the authors.My favourite section from the 25 authors was the “My Story” section .The Tools in each chapter were extremely helpful to me .Particularly at this time with “Covid.”All of the authors and their individual stories were all different .Their stories were very powerful as well .I would recommend this book to everyone!
