The Wedding Flight (Summer Lake Romance Book 13)

Finally Smoke and Laura get their day. I loved this book from page one. It was like a great big family reunion checking in with everyone. Smoke and Laura lead such busy lives even trying to plan a wedding is crazy. They finally find a date but getting there is another story. It was nice to see Smoke and his family especially Smoke and his dad. There are a lot of zigs and zags along the way to get to their wedding day but with help from their friends and family they make it happen. I especially loved the new romances coming into the mix and as always how the bachelor and bachelorette parties end up being a joint event as they should be. This couple has been one of my favorites from the beginning and I'm glad that everything came together for them and I love how Smoke is finally finding his footing, he deserves nothing but the best and Laura is the best. This couple is amazing. Can't wait to see who we get to visit at Summer Lake next. For Summer Lake fans, this is a must read. You will love it.

I have no idea where to start, when it comes to describing just how FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC this book was. I still can't believe SJ McCoy was able to throw so many wonderful and very precious moments between all of the old, and new characters into a 195 page story. But ......somehow she did....and she didn't just do a great job, she did a really phenomenal job of weaving all of these characters and their spouses, family, and friends into a story that you never wanted to see end. I laughed, I cried, I laughed again.... and oh boy....I found myself swooning on several different occassions, too. I hope SJ McCoy never stops writing about these people, but I hope we get to go back and visit the Remmingtons once in a while, too. If nothing more than to see where their lives have taken them, since we last left them. Smoke and Laura have had more than their fair share of ups and downs over the years, but the one thing that was always a constant in their lives was the deep love and affection they had for one another. So to finally get to witness them tying the know, so to speak, was ....at least for me....a very happy and emotional moment. That they were able to include so many their family members, and their friends (both old and new) into this monumental occassion, was something that all of the readers who have followed their whole journey that finally got them to this point--- a real delight! And I absolutely, positively loved the fact that we got to spend time with all of our favorite friends from the past! The only thing that was missing was the Remmington Family. After all; I still consider them all part of this big bunch of family & friends, too. I also loved all the new characters that were introduced, and can't wait to get to know them all better in the future. I love the fact that SJ even threw in a few blossoming relationships between the older generation, too. How precious was that to see? Call me greedy, but when it comes to SJ McCoy..... I'll always want MORE! MORE! MORE!

I started reading book 1 om March 20, 2018 & finished reading book 13 today on Aoril 2, 2018. I can tell that you wrote all 13 books from your heart. I'm sorry for the loss of your son, that broke my heart :( You followed his dream for you which brought about 13 beautiful stories. Each book was a story that gave hope, joy & love it & how to overcome everything to give s happy ending for each couple. And to show each person that reads these books, even though they're fiction that they can have insight on what may be hapoening in their lives. I've always felt that what we read, even it's fiction, that it opens our eyes to what we need to see in ourselves. I'm looking forward to reading the Remington series.

For those of you who have read the series this is a must and I loved the possible beginnings of second chance romances with Laura’s Mom, and Aunt. So nice to see happiness coming probably for the older couples. Can't wait to see what is to come for Marianne and Chris. Come on SJ gives us some stories about those two!!!!! Loved this whole series! SJ McCoy brings her characters to life in such a way that you are happy for them, get anxious for them... Sigh with relief when things work out for them.... She gives you such an enjoyable read every time!!!.

I'm looking so forward to the new book about Cameron and Piper coming in November and the other characters I love as well, I can't wait to read their stories, so just in case I'm talking about Clay and Marianne, Seymour and Chris, Lawrence and Shawnee, hopefully Angel and Luke, as well as Chelsea, Oscar, Reid and TJ. Oh and I almost forgot to add Hope Falls:If I Fall but I Loved that as well.

First of all I chose this waiting because the first book had me hooked on it. There are not many festivities out there that I fell in love with and I have fallen in love with many over the last 2 years. I have truly enjoyed Summer Lake series it has been a pleasure to read them all. I hope that they will all continue to find love including the older couples in the series. Love Is Never Too Late all we have to do is just believe it. Thank you for writing a wonderful, funny, compassionate, strong hold a friendship that are very hard to come by. It is a phenomenal thing when friendship turns into family this is very rare among these people keep up the great work.

I know this is book 13 and I am hoping this series goes up to book 100 or more. I know her fans anxiously await her new releases and then when we get to the end of the book we want the next installment. As long as she continues to write, I will continue to read her stories. While I've enjoyed my frequent trips to the lake is can honestly say Smoke and Laura were probably my least favorite mat have up of all the couples at Summer Lake but, I feel after this story they have been redeemed. Laura is such a strong independent business woman and Smoke is now sweeter and more approachable too. Loved the wedding and stag party/bachlorette party preparation and the chaos that went along with that. Laura's trip to Nashville brought us new friends to the mix time mix with our old friends. And how could I not love when Ben and Chance are in the same place? Thanks S.J.

Both Smoke and Laura are free independent people always on the go but, they make it work. They have that special thing called faith and trust in each other. When you have that you have everything. This book was an adventure that is well with the trip.

This was an amazing series and this last book in the series was great. I definitely want to know about all the people in the Books but it's onto the next series. These books have been amazing. This one had some twists but nothing major and its a great read to end the series.

I have enjoyed the Summer Lake series. The books are mostly a quick read of couples (Ben’s an exception) starting out, new romance and stories of how they got to happily ever after. I liked the ability to purchase the books in a set rather than individually. Looking forward to more of SJMcCoy books! Happy reading.

I started reading this series with the Summer Lake box set books 1-3)..... After I finished I kept readingthrough the series... Each story is its own standalone HEA, but then they ALL blend together and go SO well together. I've read through them all-(not just this series!), you will do the same!! I CANNOT wait for SJ's next book!!!

I've read the Remington Ranch series and the Summer Lake series and since they are connected I consider them 1 whole series; I can't wait for the next book to come out and hope that Clay gets his own book as well. I feel like a part of the friends and families that make up this great series. I also did some research on Project Semicolon and am looking into it more in depth. Great reads, every book was a page turner and kept my attention!

I absolutely love the entire Summer Lake series. I am glad Smoke and Laura finally made it to the altar. It was great to see all the couples back for the big day. It was also nice to see Laura's mother and Aunt Chris meet a couple of eligible men, who could maybe show up later. Also Piper and Cameron were fun to read, and it would be great to see them together in the future. I would recommend the series to anyone, I have totally enjoyed it.

I absolulely love this series. I started with Remington Ranch and the moved to Summer Lake and feel like you really know these characters. The author brings everything to life, the characters, the scenery, the emotions and the romance. I can't say enough good things about the whole series but that it is the best.

It Is not a bad story but it was not as captivating as the rest of the series. At this point the story line is too predictable.

Sigh....I just finished this book, and I feel like I was part of the group, partied and flew here and there. The story is so real, so believable, I want to live there. I tell all my friends about you and your books, I spend all my free time reading your stories. Thanks!

SJ McCoy, is an excellent writer ! This book like all her others make you feel that you are apart of this wide group of family and friends and that they are so much like you and your family and friends. I hate when I finish one of her books, I never want it to end . We will be back at the lake soon. I loved the book !

Just like the previous 12, once you get started you know the outcome but the twists and turns are all still there. A fun series to read if you don't want to have to think about what you're reading and figure out who did what to who.

Another terrific read by SJ!! It was wonderful seeing old friends and meeting new ones!! The bachelor/ bachelorette activities were great and the getting to the chapel on time was funny. I can't wait for the spin off stories and look forward to catching up with the gang in the next stories!!

I am currently reading book 13 and am a bit baffled by Chance and Hope being married. When did this happen? As far as i remember he was still single in book 12. Would someone fill me in pease.........

Yet another fantastic story from SJ McCoy. Summer Lake has a magic appeal. Smoke and Laura finally set a date but have to deal with a few challenges to get to the big day. Great read, you won't want to put it down!

Literally, everyone is in this story. It's kind of a jumping pad for new books. I think the original summer lake gang is done. I see where new characters are going to take off. I'm eager to hear Piper and Cameron's story.

I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves romance,friends and family. The characters are believable and easy to like and the stories are just what you expect from a small town romance.

I am glad that Smoke and Laura finally got married. It was great to follow along with their journey! And their friends to get them to the alter. Also to meet the next Summer Lake couple. Can't wait to read their story.

I am always excited whenever SJ has a new book out, especially if it’s about anyone at Summer Lake that I finished this in one day. Everything was perfect for Smoke and Laura’s wedding and the connections 😱 that were in this book was fantastic to me! Makes you think or hope that these connections get books of their own. I won’t spoil it but I’m so happy that SJ combined catching up a little on our other Summer Lake friends while still focusing on Smoke and Laura but then also semi-introducing others with their connections. Great job once again SJ!

I have read a handful of books in this series and its super fun series thats forsake. In this book Laura and Smoke are finally read to set the date for there wedding and it seems that life just might be getting in the way and nothing is going to stop them. They have there date and they have a wonderful group of friends who have stepped up to help out. This book is about is about love, friendship and family. I loved how the small town of Summer lake is just like any other small town close with some fun characters. I loved how this group of friends seems to be willing to accept anyone into there small group and it seems that Summer lake is a place of healing and hope. The friends seem more like family then anything else. This book does have adult language in it so it may not be suitable of all readers. However I do agree the books should all be read before reading this one as is sums up so much. I can't wait to read more about the other run character from this book. I really want to read Cam and Pipers story now.

S.J. McCoy does it again. I laughed, I cried, I was nervous and I was relieved. I love the story of Smoke and Laura's wedding, but I also like how we brought a bunch of new characters into play. It was also fun to have all the other characters back in play together. It makes me wish I had friends like that in my "six degrees of separation." It wouldn't be a Summer Lake wedding without a crashed bachelorette party but I love the added suspense of "getting to the wedding on time." The fact that we finally get to see Laura and Smoke settle down enough to get married is great in itself, and obviously the point of this book. But, I have to say that I can't wait to see if the next book tells the story of Cameron and Piper. I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.

I've been reading romance novels for over thirty years and SJ's Summer Lake Series is one of my most favorite series of all time! While you can definitely read this book as a stand alone novel, why would you want to deprive yourself of all the other great stories in this series! SJ's books are extremely well written with excellent editing. The characters are well developed and endearing. Laura and Smoke are two of my favorites and I felt like I was at wedding of two dear friends. I can't wait to see what SJ has in store for some of the new characters we met at the wedding.

I never ever miss a SJ McCoy book; doesn't matter to me Summer Lake series, Remington's! You knew that the wedding would be epic for Smoke and Laura. I love catching up with the whole gang, even though it wasn't a family reunion. You can't help but love all the developed characters, introduction of new friends and family and amazing happenings at the lake. Each and every character has a place in my heart and my favorite book is always the one that I'm reading. This book was a long time coming, but was worth the wait. SJ never disappoints. I read this book as an Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) in exchange for an honest review.

It's always great to be back at Summer Lake. Now, if you try to read this without at least reading Storm and Laura's book, then you may be a bit lost. Storm and Laura are the central characters in the book, but we also get to see some of our favorite characters from past books and storylines. The author's style is pleasant to read. There is no big angst floating around while you are waiting for the other shoe to drop. You can just sit back and enjoy the ride as Storm and Laura seek their HEA. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger.

I feel like I waited for the invitation to this wedding forever! Summer Lake is my favorite vacation spot to relax and catch up with all my friends. SJ's magic is she creates unique characters who maintain their flaws and are still so real and likable. This book was no different. Smoke and Laura are still career oriented, but are committed to their love. I loved the story and the addition of new characters. Makes already excited to return to Summer Lake! I recommend the whole series; there's a character for everyone!

Giving themselves all the time in the world to plan a wedding--2 weeks--and each of them being out of town one of those two weeks--not the same week--nothing could possibly go wrong, right?? Well, I'm not going to give away any spoilers, but the uber competitive Smoke and Laura make the two weeks, the two days, even the last two hours, leading up to the wedding a very enjoyable read. If you haven't visited Summer Lake, this is a good time to take a vacay and visit. The Wedding Flight is definitely worth the trip.

This book is amazing. It is the convergence of all the series: Summer Lake, A Chance and Hope, The Hamiltons, Davenports, Summer Lake Seasons, and Love in Nashville. Finding true love is greatly expressed in this novel & the interaction of all the familiar characters, their families, & friends brings back great memories of all the Summer Lake books. This is a must read to the series! I loved it & how both Smoke & Laura manage their fast paced life. Definitely, 5 Stars!

Smoke and Laura were one of my favourite couples from the original Summer Lake series so this book was a great opportunity to catch up with their story as well as the rest of the gang. As always, I was drawn into the world that SJ creates like settling into an evening in with friends and it was great to see some possible seeds being planted with regards to future novels. A lovely light, easy read that leaves you with a smile on your face. I'd reccomend you at least read Fly Like You've Never Been Grounded otherwise this book makes no sense at all! It cannot be read as a standalone

The thing about the Summer Lake series is that you keep wanting more. When Laura and Smoke found their happily ever after in a previous book, I still wanted to know more about them....and the gang. And this book delivered. SJ McCoy once again used her pen to transport me to Summer Lake where I found a beautiful story. All I can say is it is a must for Summer Lake fans, old and new.

I love this series. The wedding flight was a beautiful love story. I love the characters, they're like family. Everyone is in the story, and they all interact with each book. It's so fun to read about them. I like series like this one that keeps continuing. Reminds me of Nora Roberts or Bella Andre. Must read series, you'll love them too.

I love weddings and this one did not disappoint! So happy to have been invited to this special event. I might as well have been there, the way SJ McCoy writes it felt like I was! Got to catch up with all of our Summer Lake friends and even met some new ones, who I'm sure we'll read about in future books. Loved every second ❤️

Another great book by SJ. Smoke and Laura have been waiting for this day to come together. Schedules have been tight, still are. But they finally just nail it down. With a crew as big as the Summer Lake crew you know it's going to be one hell of a trip. And they don't disappoint. Wonderful read and well worth waiting on the flight plan.

It's time to go back to Summer Lake to attend the wedding of Smoke and Laura. And to catch up with all of our happy couples and meet some potential new ones. I will never get tired of visiting Summer Lake or Remington Ranch. And any new place this author wants to venture, I will happily follow!

I love the Summerlake series and as a result I always wait not so patiently for the next instalment. This was no different. I could not put this down. Loved every minute. Now to wait for the next one ;-)

Loved reading Smoke and Laura's story. Ms McCoy never disappoints. She makes you want to go to Summer Lake to hang out with the gang. I highly recommend this book.

I love love love this series by SJ McCoy.... I loved coming back to the lake and being with friends ;) Of course there was a hang up towards the end but it wouldn't be an amazing book without one :) now I'm off to visit with Chance for a while

The Wedding Flight was a sweet, enjoyable read and a great catch up with all the Summer Lake gang. As well as an introduction to many new characters, including Smokes brother and sister Cameron and Chelsea. As well as Lauras old friend Piper and this story certainly left me excited to read more from this series in the future. As well as the spin offs S.J.McCoy has planned and anyone who has read and enjoyed this series. Is sure to enjoy Smoke and Lauras wedding story.

Well what can I say we have been teased with the happy ever afters at the lake and we aren't disappointed!!!!! Here we join smoke n laura and whether or not they get married. One thing this couple are good at is overcoming obstacles and sj likes to throw a few in there as well as a curveball as well as introducing and teasing further storylines. Will a couple whose work keeps them apart be able to set a date and will everything go to plan one things for sure though their friends and family do there best to bring it all together. Relationships are revisited introduced and mended in only a way sj can xx

Having read all the others in this series and the Montana ones and Chance and Hope books as well and thoroughly enjoyed them all this book brings them all together and gives us a taste of what is yet to come! Can't wait for the next book to come. Highly recommended for everyone that enjoys a good read by a talented author, read one book and you want to read them all!

Anyone who has read the Summer Lake books will not be disappointed, another fantastic book. Been waiting a long time for this book & loved it. Anyone not read this series i recommend you start from the beginning & be prepared to get hooked & warn the family nothing gets done whilst reading. S J McCoy I love these books! You amaze me!!

Another FANTASTIC read from SJ McCoy. I have read all of her books and they are truly superb. SJ has this knack of making you feel as though you are 'in' the story, having followed all the characters and to read about them in her latest book was wonderful, I kept looking up from the story and imagining they were in the room with me. Roll on the next book SJ ;-)

Another winner. Really enjoyable but although it could be read as a stand alone, it would be better to read in order because of the other characters involved. Would thoroughly recommend this author to anyone who loves on going, feel good serial style books. Brilliant.

I have just finished reading this last book in the series and I cannot recommend them enough. Loved every book and each story gets you so wrapped up in the lives of all the characters. Can’t wait to read the authors others books.
