Renowned nonverbal communications expert Doctor Genevieve Lenard's search for an international criminal is interrupted when her team receives an antique book. At first the book is dismissed--until they discover similar books gifted to people who are now dead.
Genevieve's inner strength is put to the ultimate test when someone close to her also falls victim to the vengeful actions of an unsound mind. Barely coping with the emotional maelstrom and her doubts about her own continued involvement in the team, she looks for connections between their original case, the books and the many suspicious deaths they uncover.
But the cost might be too high for Genevieve as she rushes to stop the person set on destroying as many lives as possible.

Autism afflicted yet functioning Dr Genevieve Lenard and her reformed criminal team take another International art forger.
This is the 6th book in the Dr. Face Reader, Genevieve Lenard series. Always entertaining and informative, I have been coaxed, by Jen-girl's penchant for writing Mozart scores to steady her moods, into renewing my appreciation for Mozart's lesser known, to me anyway, pieces. I've grown to love the dysfunctional team assembled to investigate art thefts: Millard, the cantankerous Interpol cop; Francine, the super model hacker; Vinnie, the large tough guy criminal; Colin, Genevieve's dashing and oft disguised squeeze and of late, Nikki, the orphaned daughter of a brutish gun dealer. Ms. Ryan's villains are as despicable as any I've encountered in life or in literature. Their crimes so reprehensible, their skills so honed to evil, that I cringe before the next victim in each book is found. Her heroine, Genevieve/Jen-girl and her cohorts are, in their quirky ways, as loveable as their opposing criminals are reprehensible. I've grown to appreciate, what Dr. Face Reader calls her non-neurotypical social skills or lack thereof, and empathize with her struggle to deal with the those of us who live in the neurotypical world. Please do read the first book in the series. I doubt you will forgo tackling subsequent forays into the remaining five. I wait anxiously for the next "Connection" book.
Unbelievable tension
This is not what I consider an easy book to read, yet I breezed through it in two sessions. I would have made it one session, but I really needed to go to church the following day. The plot is intricate, and I have yet to figure out how my stress levels get ratcheted up to where I am breathing hard as I sit reading. I've been told how, once a characterization deepens to a particular level, the characters take over and run away with the story. I believe that is what happened here. All the characters perform within their own parameters and never act out of character, but their characters deepen and they behave as if learning, just like the rest of us do. I love these characters and I look forward to whatever they get up to next.
Medieval Illuminations take center stage
The art involved this time are books of gothic art from the 14th century, specifically that of Pucelle. It starts when Philip receives a book of Gothic illuminations. They discover very quickly that the book is a forgery since it includes several pages of code, which they cannot decipher because they don't know what the key book is. Complicated and complex as always including biohacking, insider trading and more. It also leads to growth in Genevieve 's empathy and love for team and their closeness as a family growing.
Best yet!
"The Pucelle Connection" is fabulous! Just finished reading and now I'm sad that I have to 'wait' for Book 7. "The Pucelle Connection" is a fantastic read! So wanted to 'make it last' but had turn each page to see what happened. If you have not read any of Estelle Ryan's books featuring Genevieve Lenard, start now with "The Gauguin Connection"! You will love the story and the characters. You'll hurry to get the next book in the series and totally enjoy the character development in each subsequent book. There is no wondering "what happened to this character" as there are no loose ends. The intrigue, twists, and fluid plot line, will have you turning pages late into the night. Each book, in the series, can stand alone but I urge you to start with "The Gauguin Connection" as it will give you a connection to the characters, and their development, as the series continues. "The Pucelle Connection" is near perfect in story line, intrigue, plot twists, and character development. Estelle Ryan brings her characters into the minds of her readers and brings her readers into the lives and adventures of her characters.
Well-written and exciting, but a lot of violence
I have really enjoyed this series so far, except for the violence. I am absolutely fascinated by the main character's way of thinking, and ways of coping. I identify with her, though we really haven't much in common. That's good writing. The mystery plots are convoluted and interesting. What I dislike is the violence, cruelty, etc., which has made me skip and skim sections. By the end of this book, I was really wondering whether I could read another one, if they retained the level of violence. I was thrilled to see the main character come to the same conclusion -- that she couldn't be involved in such horrors any more. I would like to read more of Genevieve's experiences, so I hope the author finds a way to tone down the cruelty and violence.
Another Great book in the series
I enjoyed the Pucelle Connection. I enjoy the dynamic between the team members and how each of them have their strengths and all are involved in solving the cases they are working on. The relationship between Genevieve and Colin is beautiful and they are lucky they found each other and created their “family”. I also love the little bit of art history you get as background for the cases.
The Pucelle
This series is great. A. PhD that is an expert of nonverbal communication that has learned this to better understand people. She is a high functioning autistic woman who"s colleges are a cop a hacker, a criminal and an art thief. She solves the crimes put before her with the gang giving her the information she needs to solve an almost impossible puzzle.
Unforgettable character
I wish I was a writer when I read a book like this (and the others in this series) because it would be easier to come up with an adequate description of how good this book is. Estelle Ryan has created an unforgettable set of characters but the best of all is Dr. Genevieve Lenard. Ms. Ryan has done the best job I have ever seen in helping us see the world from the perspective of a person with Asperger's syndrome and doing it in such a way that we see her as a person and not as a diagnosis. I love the character of Genevieve Lenard and what's more, I respect and admire her. I love her mind, I love the way she looks at the world, and I love the way she struggles to adapt to the people around her. She is a brilliant and courageous character who also happens to get involved in some of the most interesting mysteries. The only thing I hate about these books is that they end and I'm left waiting for the next one.
A very unique series.
I am really enjoying this unique series from Estelle Ryan. They’re not your usual police procedural or crime novel with blood running in the streets and detailed sex scenes. Not to say there’s no violence- there is. The villains are creepy and the trail to solving the mysteries are complex. This group of characters really grows on you. Not quite a stand alone book. It would be better to start from the beginning to have a complete grasp of the characters.
Missed reading this series
It's been so long since I've read one of the Genevieve Lenard series books, I didn't realize how much I missed the characters, the dynamics between those characters, and the fun of their interactions.I think I've read 6 so far and I'm going to turn around and read another one right now. I am one happy reader.

... read the first 10 books of this series and love it. The characters are interesting
I've read the first 10 books of this series and love it. The characters are interesting, there is humor and there is a thriller element about each of the stories. It's easy to care about the characters and be anxious that they are all safe at the end. I particularly enjoy the insights into our use of slang and the problems it causes for a highly educated autistic person who interprets every word spoken literally. Well written.

The Pucelle Connection is another triumph for Estelle Ryan. In the midst of searching for a criminal who has become Genevieve Lenard and her team's arch nemesis, they discover a killer targeting priests who is also an artist and sends out antique books to the victims before they are killed. When one of Genevieve's team members is sent a book, at first they don't realize the significance, but as their hunt for their nemesis continues and new clues present themselves, they realize the two are connected. Genevieve must face new fears and make some important decisions about her future with the team. I literally could not put this book down and read it in a day. You can read just this one book in the series but I am convinced you will want them all.
The art of a good, literate thriller series
Discovered with author through a friend. Doing the whole series. On its own terms, the writing is quite delightful. It is a good idea to read other books between volumes so they all don't start to run together. But just when you think you've had enough of this offbeat crew, the plot becomes inventive. I have only figured out two or so of the criminal devices in advance of the reveals. Up to Book 7 now. I can see Julianne Moore as the heroine---anyone out there agree? As with Daniel Silva's thrillers, there is quite a lot of genuine research on the author's part on both the artist at the center of each book, and on the challenges of being highly intelligent and on the spectrum. And the characters are fully fleshed out, but still reveal more with each volume. Are these books only available through Amazon? I haven't seen a single one in a bricks and mortar store.
Top Notch!
The series continues to have amazing character development even as the action rockets along. The relationships among this family of friends are complex and add so much to the story. Another highly recommended novel - although please start reading with the first in the series to fully appreciate the nuanced growth of the individuals and the team.
Simply the BEST!!!!
If you haven't read these books, there us a hole in your experience. I have read all up to this book and already bought the next 2!! Cannot wait to read them! Simply love Vinnyand his dry whit and adore Francine and Manny's bantering, but the best is Genevieve and Colin. They keep it together well. Love the info @the end of every book and also listening to Gen's favourite music! Please keep writing these, they are fabulous!!!!!!!!!!
A strange book for Phillip and a dead priest make for a surprising mystery that only Jenny and her team can solve.
I truly enjoy the Genevieve Lenard series. I have read all 6 books in sequence and still am amazed at the depth of the story. This is a continuation of the investigations of insurance fraud cases that Jenny looks into with her other team members. An old adversary comes back to cause trouble and lives are definitely at stake. Dr. Genevieve Lenard is a highly functioning autistic body language expert. In short, she can tell if you are lying or holding something back. You get the idea. Her continuing relationships with those who have become apart of her life will keep you turning the pages. Jenny is learning that they are becoming very special to her. She doesn't quite know how to deal with these feelings. The mystery itself will keep you guessing. I love the art history lessons, and to be truthful, I am really not an art enthusiast. At least not to the point where I want to learn all the specifics. What you learn in this book about art will not bore you at all. There is an accompanying web site at the end of the book where you can listen to the Mozart music works listed in the story and look at the paintings. Beautiful. Another great job. Another mystery. I am curious as to Colin's thoughts when Jenny shuts down. I wonder if the author will address this in a future book?
A most unusual heroine
This is the 6th offering in The Genevieve Lenard series and like the other books in this series it does not disappoint. Dr. Lenard, the high-functioning autistic genius body language expert continues to solve unusual and inventive crimes with her out of the ordinary skills. Her team consists of a former art thief and forger, an expert hacker, a large loveable bodyguard and various others. They lend their unusual skills to teams of European police experts, solve murders, recover stolen art and form the most unusual and sympathetic family of misfits. I've read the entire series and can't wait for more! Kudos to Estelle Ryan.
Worth staying up all night
Another hit from Estelle Ryan as we fall further in love with Dr. G and the gang. I can never take a break from these books, have to read them from start to finish. The mystery was perfect: I guessed some things about halfway (maybe two-thirds) through the book but others were a complete surprise at the end of the adventure. I particularly appreciate the way Ryan gives voice to the struggles of those on the Autism spectrum, particularly high-functioning women. This can be read independently of the rest of the series, but why would anyone want to miss the others?
Forgery, murder, biohacking!!
Another craftily written, adventure filled novel, about my favorite, non-neurotypical, famous, non-verbal body cues reader, Doc.G, by Ms.Ryan, has given me hours of entertainment and excitement. While the basic premise of this novel, biohacking, is hopefully very far into our future, it does provide society with fodder about the rapid, uncontrollable rate genetic technology is progressing. It also brings into focus societal woes about mental health and child abuse, whether physical, sexual, or mental. I wish a bit more time was spent detailing Gasquet's admittance into R&R bypassing Vinnie' s security. I can't wait to read about Genevieve' s return to R&R. Not much is written about Calean in this novel, I, also, would've loved to see his growth, socially.
Excellent series
Excellent series, interesting characters and situations. Main character has autism and the other characters relate to her on that basis. Am currently reading the 8th book and plan to do the whole series. Only criticism, the author way over uses nicknames for the characters.
Love mysteries (not sure that this is a mystery)
Just discovered Estelle Ryan and her Genevieve Lenard series. I am hooked, can't get enough! I buy the kindle versions. Love mysteries (not sure that this is a mystery). I was an art history major in college and love the fact that she focuses each book on a different artist. Her descriptions of the architecture are great. It is a great read. I end up finishing each book in a day or two.
Another Great in the Series!!!
I love how each book in the series has Genevieve grow and she develops deeper feelings for those who are close to her. This time, when Nikki get sick, Genevieve forgoes most of her defenses and makes sure that the girl is cared for. She works harder to figure out the mystery of who is killing those close to the church, which ties into who hurt Nikki. This is an emotional rollercoaster read, and a great addition to the series!!
Great series
I love this series for many reasons. There is always a good story, but the best thing about these books is the depth of the characters and their relationships. The main character is a brilliant woman with autistic spectrum disorder who specializes in non verbal communication. She has her quirks which require those in her circle to learn to adapt. She also goes through a learning experience as she realizes how her needs affect those around her. The stories are thrillers that revolve around some type of valuable art heist.
Another great read
I have read all of Ms Ryan's 'Collection' books and enjoy each one more than the previous one. The characters are more like friends than fictional beings and you end up in Estes in their lives and adventures. It is definitely worth it to start with the first book and work your way through them as the plots connect and the relationships evolve. But I guarantee that unlike other series, even if you binge read them, these books will never seem repetitive or boring. You will really enjoy these books and, like me, will look forward to the next one.
Great Series!
I love this series. The characters in this series are well developed especially by this point in the series. This series would easily convert into a television series I think. The main character, Dr. Genevieve Lenard, is a high functioning autistic with the added ability of reading people's non verbal cues to determine whether they are telling the truth among other things. Her adopted family, a close circle of friends, try to teach her some of human failings. She grows throughout the series into a more rounded person although she will never be neurotypical.
BEST BOOKS EVER!!! ~ Perfect Summer Read!
My NEW read, #7 in this fantastic series. The main character is a High Functioning Autistic. The way she interacts with others will make you cry, make you laugh, and make you learn. These books were lovingly and creatively developed and written by a fabulous author named Estelle Ryan. I have never read anything quite like these novels, and I have never enjoyed reading a series so much! These carry my highest recommendation!! GREAT SUMMER READ!!
I just love this series
I just love this series. The only negative thing is that the publishers should proof read more carefully. I have found at least 2-3 grammar problems in each book... but I don't care. The stories are so wonderful and even have me somewhat teary at times as Genevieve grows and learns how to love and accept love. So far I have read each book in the series in order, but I'm waiting to start book 7 because I want to savor it. I HIGHLY recommend this book and the entire series!
Another Great Addition to an Interesting Series
Another excellent book in this series. I love the interaction among the main characters and the book has an unusual twist. Love, friendship, humor and mystery--what more could you want.
My Kingdom For A Contraction
Again I'm sucked into the world of Doctor Genevieve Lenard. I'm still bothered that I don't get too solve the mysteries with the team and am only an observer, but I am admitting, freely, that I've grown fond of the characters and want to know what the future holds for them. Only for that reason, plus all the cool information of artists and books, will I continue reading. I really wish Francine and Manny would publicly proclaim to being a couple.
Can these *GET* any better!? YES!!!
Yes!! I don't know how, but Ms Ryan DOES manage to not only accurately portray Genevieve's emotional/psychological/mental/AND physical distress to the ongoing assault(s) to her very being ~ but make us "neurotypicals" understand!! Quite a feat while racing against time and a biohacker! ;-)
It never quits being full of suspense
Just another great story. It is amazing how the author captures the nuances of "normal" people as seen through Jenny's autistic lens. The team has such a fun dynamic it makes it so easy to fly through the pages.
Wonderful series of books.
I really enjoy these books by this author. I am waiting for the latest one to be released. They have kept my interest through the first ten, and I am sure the next one will be just as enjoyable. I got the first one for free, and I have paid for the other 10.
Page turner par excellence!
All of the books in this series are a wonderful read. The characters fully develop over the series and the interactions between them becomes more and more interesting. The situations are not only believable but they suck you in so that you fully participate in the adventures. Marvelous reads which unfortunately will keep you reading through the night if you are not careful.
Another Winner from Estelle Ryan
From the first chapter in the first book of this series, I was hooked. I cannot put Estelle Ryan's books down, and I am always anxiously awaiting the next book. I love all the characters, and with each book, we get to know them more and more. These books have everything - mystery, intrigue, action, romance - and all from the perspective of a heroine with Asperger's. This book was the latest book, and it's another 5-star story!
Excellent read
The team stumbles on a serial killer who has biohacked Malaria and is targeting certain people. One of the people Genevieve cares about is targeted and infected. The team doesn't know the disease is Malaria - Malaria isn't even on their radar. Excellent book. Stands up to the series' standards.
Great crime novel!
I enjoy all Estelle Ryan's books. They have great characters, good plots, and fascinating relationships. Anyone who is interested in mysteries, thrillers and art, and/or autism, should enjoy these novels. Best to read them in order to follow the developing friendships.
Just excellent !!
I have thoroughly enjoyed every one of the "art" novels from Ms. Ryan. It is indeed rare when I feel like I know all these characters and really care what happens to each of them. Love everything about these books--what more can I say ??? Oh Yes--read them in order if you can; each can stand alone but they flow better if read in order.
Excellent plot
Great story, characters, plot, location and art information. Love Estelle Ryan.
ESTELLE RYAN, GET BUSY!
I stumbled onto the Genevieve Lenard series in a convoluted way, but I'm glad I did. The characters are engaging, and the insights into "neurotypicals" are alternately interesting and hilarious. Set on a background of investigations into art theft and forgery, I enjoyed this series enormously. Downside: I've read the available books. Please write more, soon!
I completely fell in love with all the characters and had to read what ...
I received the first book free and purchased the other 5 books in the series. I do not purchase books as a rule because there are so many I can get free on amazon, but, I completely fell in love with all the characters and had to read what happened next. My Mother is reading the series now and loves the characters also. I cannot wait to read more from Ms Ryan.
Another Super "Genevieve Lenard" Thriller by Estelle Ryan
See my review for books 1-3, the boxed set. It gets better and better as you really see the integration between such unlikely characters, art theft, and enough "bad guys" to make you keep reading until the end. Don't plan to spend less than a couple of hours at a time, feasting on this series. Estelle Ryan is absolutely awesome!
I will be sad when I have completed the series and will have ...
The growth of Genevieve Lenard's character in each book of keeps me wanting to read this series. The plot keeps me wondering what will happen next and if the culprit will be found in time. I immediately started book 7. I will be sad when I have completed the series and will have to wait for book 9 to be published.
The Purcelle Connection
All the team members are so important to the story. Genevieve holds it all together. Thank you for holding the swearing down but you used potty language. I like the stories and all the mind games. If you are starting this series start with the first book. Enjoy. Mrs Del Rae M.
Can you connect the dots?
I never tire of Genevieve, our heroine. Her honesty due to her autism is unique and captivating. Connect the dots in this latest mystery to come up with the 'connection' in the Books of Hours that are literally 'to die for'. Simplicity and Genevieve's coming to terms with her growing feelings is just the thing a good read is made from.
Another Fabulous Book in the Series
This is yet another fantastic book by Estelle Ryan. Her characters are so beautifully developed and the plots connect art, music and great insight into the non-neurotypical intelligent adult. I've read all the books and re-read them and each one is such a treat...like someone invented a non-caloric hot fudge sundae and sent it to me via Kindle :)
Another terrific book by Estelle Ryan!,
I am completely jealous of Ms. Ryan's ability to draw you into the world she has created with Genevieve and her colleagues! The stories are flawlessly crafted and her ability to add layers to her characters is outstanding. The telling of a good mystery can be botched and bungled too easily, I am glad to say that the Connection Series are done well. I eagerly wait for each new book and it's a sad moment when I finish it, knowing that I have to wait again! Keep up the great work, Estelle Ryan!
I Enjoy This Non-Typical Series So Much
I like the characters, the plots are well thought out, AND I learn interesting tidbits about art history, music, and most of all insights into this fascinating woman's struggle to live with her Non-Typical neuro patterns and worldview. This was yet another interesting and entertaining installment in the ensemble's adventures.
Art meets Autism
I enjoy all of Estelle Ryan's books, although they do become a bit predictable. It definitely helps to read them in order, but can be read alone. The book/s definitely help to understand the world of an autistic person, whilst making for enjoyable reading.
Art, Music, interesting characters and murder mos horrid...
The Geneviefe Lenard series is fun and educational. Anyone who enjoys art and classical music should read them and in Kindle format they are cheap at less than $6 each.
The Pucelle Connection is the sixth of the excellent Genevieve series
The Pucelle Connection is the sixth of the excellent Genevieve series. The interrelationships of the group are changing and growing. And Genevieve herself is changing and growing as she finds herself loving others. There is suspense and plenty of action to go along with the character development.
Great investigative stories
Love the series and group of investigators being led by brilliant face reader who is autistic, high functioning. Series sheds light on how autistic person process information etc. very fun read.
As always, thank you Ms. Ryan,
This was the perfect way to start a new year. Dr. Jen and the other members of the team exceed all expectations. A must read for all that care about a great story line and enjoy a great read.
Just as good as the other Genevieve books.
Enjoyed this book a great deal. I don't normally like books written in the first person, but I can make an exception for this series. I would have given the book five stars, but the few grammatical errors detract from the overall quality. Can't wait for the next book, though.
A fast moving page turner
This book was hard to put down. The characters are familiar and the fast pace keeps me eager to find out where the story will go and how it will end. And as soon as I finish one, I'm always eager for the next one.
Five Stars
love this whole series. too bad that she's not in libraries, however.
If you like crime novels and you haven't read our Estelle Ryans ...
Ok, I'm just going to put it out there. If you like crime novels and you haven't read our Estelle Ryans books, you are losing out. The Books are excellent, the characters are all well thought out and well rounded and plots are simply genius. It's all about art theft and crime, with a fantastic team and a very interesting heroine. I have not been disappointed, and that rarely happens. Warning: you need to read them in chronological order, and don't plan anything else. Just read.
Anxiously waiting for book 7
In about two weeks I have read all six of the Gwnwvieve Lenard stories and I'm sad that I have to 'wait' for Book 7. This series is totally wonderful. Well written and thoroughly entertaining. Anxiously awaiting the next book!
Another great book
Another WINNER. My name is Elise and I am an addict. I have fallen in love with Estelle Ryan and her Genevieve Lenard character and the entire gang. I really recommend this book and the others in the series. Read them all and you will see another addict will be born. ;-)
Enjoyed with a few buts
I enjoy the series. As this was the most recent I've read I did find it a little frenetic. That at times made it hard to follow. Nevertheless I'm going on to the next in the Genevieve series.
Great book and series
This is the sixth book in the series. It was as great as the first 5. It was well worth the money I spent on the book. Great story line, well developed characters and the story line flows well. A few twist and will keep your interest to the end.

If you are into autistic women and homosexuals then this book is for you. I'm not and the book and probably the series are definitely not for me.
Intelligent and funny
Intelligent and funny. Brilliant series! Bought the first one because it was cheap and I am buying everything this woman writes. This series is funny, exciting, challenging and completely delightful! I am a huge fan.
Five Stars
Characterization is excellent and the story is always enthralling. Learn a lot about near-atypicals.
No More Artsy Fartsy!
Dr. Lenard's crew hits another home run. Give it a try. You'll enjoy their quirky inter-action and wonderful relationship.
Review of Estelle Ryan's Sixth Book
In my opinion The Pucelle Connection is the best of the Genevieve Lenard books. The Genevieve Lenard character is starting to comprehend her friends surrounding her despite the violence surrounding them. She still has a long way to do though. Still love her though!
Another top mystery
Liked the turn of events toward the end of the story. Have read all her books up to this one. All are excellent.
A+++++ An amazing author; great story; wonderful characters
Estelle Ryan is my favorite author. You will love this book (or any of the Genevieve Lenard books). Wonderful, well-developed characters. Great story. A great mystery that does *not* start with someone dying! Totally recommend this book.
I really enjoyed this one
I really enjoyed this one! Of course I have enjoyed all of the books in this series. But this one was especially intriguing!
Love the characters
I really enjoy these characters although sometimes the explanation of her condition gets tedious. The plots are interesting and different
I love characters in this series
I love characters in this series. Genevieve has evolved so much in this particular book. Her insight into her perspectives but really liked Ryan taking this character took a new level in sensitivity. Always a treat to read Estelle Ryan's books.
Thus one touched me.
This seemed to read faster, then previous books, and for the first time I feel I’m like family to these characters too.
So good! Should be made into movies!
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series! I love the characters! They are all well-developed and seemed real. The great one-liners throughout all the books are classic. I wish Vinnie was real! I hope there's more to come from Dr. Genevieve Lenard! These stories would make terrific TV movies! I'll read them again and again. For me, time well spent. Thank you, Estelle Ryan!
Continues!
Great continuation.
Fascinating novel!
I genuinely love this series. While each is a "stand alone", I prefer to read them in order as it gives you a better understanding of the characters and their relationships. The art and history presented in the novels is entrancing.
Excellent continuation of the series as far as story line ...
Excellent continuation of the series as far as story line and character development. Ms. Ryan knows her artwork. Finding the culprit via files and the Internet kept me entertained. I didn't want to do anything else during the day!
Awesome!
I am going to read all eight of these in a row. I am absorbed in these characters lives. The stories are intriguing and never boring for a minute!!!
Exciting book
I was so excited to get this eBook after reading the previous five. It did not disappoint me. Was a page turner that I could not put down. Plan to buy book seven soon.
Good read, not so much violence.
Yet another good read. This book was not about the darkness of human nature. I don't need to read about violence for an exciting read. This book is much less violent than some of the others on this series.
Great author!
I’ve lived every single one of these books!
Worth the wait.
I can't wait for Book 7! Estelle Ryan continues to grow and develop her characters and their interactions. While I admit I found the actual denouement in this mystery a little silly and unscientific, the book was well written and well plotted, and very enjoyable.
I love these books
Whaddaseries!!! I love these books! ALL of them! The characters are fabulous and the stories may stretch sometimes, but they are riveting! Buy the series! They'll be great reading AND rereading!
Five Stars
Engaging storyline and characterization. Genevieve is proof it’s ok to be different!
... all of the author's Genevieve Lenard novels and have enjoyed them immensely
I have read all of the author's Genevieve Lenard novels and have enjoyed them immensely. I love the well-developed and very different characters. I anticipate the release of each of her novels.
Ryan never disappoints
I have come to look forward to my next Genevieve Lenard novel. I purchase the next one as soon as I've finished the last. This one was no exception to meeting my expectations.
I love reading about Doc G
The stories just keep getting better and better. This time it really hits close to home in more ways than one.
Fun to read
Love it. Helps me to ndetstandy students Good mystery.
Great series
I really enjoy the story, the personal lives and the reality. I also enjoy learning about the different types of autism and how it effects communication. Eagerly awaiting the next book.
Love this series
I love this series and bookbub had the first ones for free! Wish my library carried this author!
Always great!
I just love this series and can't wait for the next one to come out! A big step above the cozy mysteries but still an easy read. Always exciting and intriguing from the first sentence.
The best yet!
The characters are continuing to deepen. The pattern in the book is full of twists. I could not put this one down at all. Can't wait to read the next book!
Great addition to the series
Stayed up last night because I HAD to finish this book. Genevieve, Colin and their motley crew return with a new twist from the nemesis from the previous book, The Courbet Connection. I truly enjoyed how she fleshed out the secondary characters even more in this novel, and Genevieve's inner conflict with this new extended family. I particularly how she smoothed out Genevieve's worrying at the end of the book. A good solid mystery with familiar characters - like comfort food for the brain.

Estelle Ryan does it again
This is another winner from Estelle Ryan. The series is fun and informative about both high spectrum autism and the art world. I anxiously await the next adventure.
Great read
I do love this series. I began the first of the series a few weeks ago, and just finished the sixth book. Estelle Ryan is now on my 'must read' list.
Unusual mystery series continued
Continues Ryan's excellent series - maintains themes and characters with occasional interesting plot twists.
Family first
You have two families, the one you are born into and the one who loves you even with all your faults.

I always enjoy Estelle Ryan's writings and eagerly await the next book (I do hope there will be a next book in this series).
Great reads!
Wonderful series, I've read all 7 books. The combination of art, music, mystery & autism in France makes for great reads. The only things missing are 'the criminal's' recipes.
Five Stars

Ms Ryan has wonderful way of taking twists and turns
Ms Ryan has wonderful way of taking twists and turns. Even though in this book you knew the players the way to the capture didn't let the reader down.
Great book!!!
I loved it! I would highly recommend this book. All of her books are excellent.
Love the whole series!
I think this was my favorite book in the series. Ms. Ryan makes you laugh and almost cry all in the same chapter.
Consistently great series
As with the others in this series this was a good read. They are beginning to feel a bit formulaic after 6 of them--hoping for a bit less "background" if Lenard continues the series past what's out now!
Love this series!
The entire series is clever, insightful and thoroughly engaging. Doctor Lenard is fascinating. These books deserve their consistently high ratings. The books are fast-paced with just enough humor to ease the tension. Can't wait for the next one!
a must read
The 6th in the series, and as informative, funny, and excellent characterization as in the first 5. I have already told several friends about the books, and would recommend the series to EVERYONE! I have loved these books and waiting for the next!
Four Stars
Excellent book

The whole series is a cut above. Intelligent fun and complex mystery.
Awesome as usual
Loved every page and stayed up too late. Keep them coming. I'll sleep later or in the next dimension!!! Thanks!
Really great series.
Love this series; if Estelle Ryan could write a book every week, I'd be first in line to download it.
Great Series
Love this series, author does a great job in creating some very unique characters.
A must read!
As always a great book! I Love all the characters and how they are growing in depth as the series moves forward!

Absolutely wonderful series, each one gets a bit more complex and even more entertaining, can't wait for the next book in the series.
Great as usual!
After reading the newest book in the series, I look forward to more. Estelle Ryan has a unique main character in the series that gives the reader inside information to autism.
Raw
I am at a loss for words. The Pucelle Connection shares more with the earlier books in the series than the last two. Yet there is exponentially more growth in the characters. For the first time I truly feel the reader would miss out on something profound if they started here. The gift of a Gothic book of hours to Phillip Rousseau starts a path that is less murder and more mystery. There is a body toll however it is the thread in the quilt rather than the quilt itself. If you're already a Genevieve Lenard fan, you don't need me to tell you to read this book. If you are not a fan, go to Amazon and download the first in the series which is free. No harm, no foul. You'll either be bored, entertained or addicted.
Five Stars
You won't be able to put it down
Book
Great book.

Following the characters as they slowly evolve is the biggest draw for me.
Autistic Heroine? Better read!
I never believed I would find a novel about an autistic heroine exciting, until I ran into Genevieve Lenard! All six books are exciting reads!
Great, easy read
I love this series. I look forward to each book she writes. It is a different perspective on detection.
Genevieve rides again!
Love Genevieve! She is truly a heroine in so many ways. Waiting on the next one. She certainly has opened my eyes to autism at many levels. Estelle Ryan is a master storyteller. Please keep the books coming.
I love this author
I love this author! I finished reading the first book on my kindle and ordered the other 8 books in this series. I'm almost finished with the ninth book. Highly recommend her books.

Wonderful
I love the Genevieve series. Full of intrigue and fun. The characters are well developed and so compassionate to Genevieve. Hope the series will go on for a long time. Thanks Estelle
An exciting and varied book-a must read.
I read all eight books in this series and would read another if one came up. The characters in this book are so real and it is a book to be read! You learn a lot about highly functional autistic persons as well as how she and her "regular" peers work together. There is mystery, humor, charm, and love in the book. All the books in this series are based on the same type of theft (art work) as this an a company that insures highly expensive pieces of art that go missing either from the owners or museums. This leaves a lot of work to the "team".
Read all of them.
Loved them all

Life is changing for Dr. Genevieve Lenard
If you've been reading this series, you know that Genevieve has problems with emotions, not only hers but everyone else's. She's beginning to see that she needs to handle all these with better solutions than shutting down. Working on a new case shows the need for the family to really be a family and that everyone has each other's back. I enjoyed this one as the case was unusual, but watching Genevieve deal with things out of her usual comfort zone. Read and enjoy.
I just love this series

I love the characters and have read all the books out so far. So different and interesting, Can't wait for the next one!
Another good fun read, but.
3.5/5 I inhale these books when I get them. Finally, a mystery series that involves museums/art/culture and interesting characters! However, after six books churned out at the rate they are, I begin to wonder. They do get a bit repetitive, read all six in a row and see for yourself. This book was another good fun read, but **SPOILER ALERT** introduce a name and then never mention it again? Come on. That was a little disappointing, and I almost feel, insulting to the reader. As I neared the end of the case I wondered if I would continue to read this series, but then, the character development pulled me back in. So, as usual, I await the next installment and hope that it is a little less formulaic.
Five Stars

LOVE IT!
This was a terrific book, with all the characters and plot twists I love. I re-read the other five books so that when The Pucelle Connection came out, the whole arc of the story was fresh. This story picks right up, and continues the lives of our fabulous cast. No pressure - but I can't wait to see what decisions are made, and how the story continues. I gave it only 4 stars, because there is an error that I found quite out of place in the meticulous flow of these books. But, really, I have recommended this series to friends, and will continue to do so.
Five Stars
