A very worthwhile read, looking forward to V. 3

Just finished reading this. I enjoyed the first volume a little more, but I’m rating no less highly because I am a devout fan of the work of Neil Gaiman. The varying art styles are well suited to the cadence of different stories being told, and having read most of these stories in text first then comic, the visual aides help understand some of the stories a little better. Neil paints a vice world of imagination, and it’s often fun to fill in our own gaps, but the experience of the comic book format lends itself to a second way to enjoy a story even having already read it before.

Strange.

This is a Gaiman book. It is huge and heavy. It and the artwork is as odd as anything Gaiman does. Worth it!

Beautiful in many ways.

Anyone who is a fan of Neil Gaiman must have this book.
