I got attached to and emotionally invested in Link like an idiot and every single one of these mangas makes me progressively sadder Amazing book 10/10 would cry about again Only thing is I feel like the age rating should be higher, there’s some DARK stuff in this series…

The second entry in this series was nothing to write home about. As a character, Link proved pretty ineffectual. This time around, there are high stakes that Link is directly involved with. The action scenes are far superior to the previous entry, the atmosphere of suspense as Link rescues his young friends is very effective, and we even see something budding between Link and his companion, Midna. What that is has yet to be seen, but this third entry is so far the best in the Twilight Princess manga series.

I don't think that the Twilight princess manga has ended because Link still hasn't fought Ganon yet. I kinda have some mixed feelings about this being a longer akira himekawa zelda manga since all the others are either in one or two parts but I like how the story is taking its time so the manga can reflect the darker tones of the game in writing and not just in art style. This is definetly their highest quality in terms of the drawings compared to the others. I also like that this Link, compared to other manga Link's is not cartoonishly good. At first, hes a guy who makes mistakes and isn't super courageous but then he becomes a hero as opposed to him just being told "You're a hero" and suddenly he can do anything without fear and is just a cookie cutter good boy. I think my only problem is that if this manga gets longer than 5 or 6 parts then I don't know that I'll be able to buy all of them. Honestly tho, keep up the good work Akira!

I've loved the Legend of Zelda series since the original game, which I played as a kid. The Twilight Princess game was a great gritty and realistic (or as realistic as a fantasy game can get) telling of a Legend of Zelda game. This manga is a great retelling of that game. It gives a bit of back story to each of the characters that was missing from the game and provides Link a bit of depth that is lost in the game due to his being a silent character (that's right Link finally found his voice). While I'm sure that the game's story writers didn't originally see the story in this way (while I'm sure they approved after seeing this view), I'm sure that they would change it to be more like this. I strongly suggest this series for any Legend of Zelda fan.

Update: I got a replacement from Amazon that is not misprinted (though I'm 99% sure someone else read it and returned it because the spine is soft). Glad to have it, because I was missing a lot of detail in many of the pictures. I love the story, but I'm trying to contact the publisher to see if I got a bad copy. I'm including picutres, but if you look at the cover and the first half of the book are crooked. It doesn't effect the ability to read it much, but it bothers me. I've also included some pictures of pages inside so you can see how it looks like they are improperly cropped. Am I the only one with this, or are these badly printed?

Very good story with some killer cliffhangers. This is the first Zelda manga Himekawa has done that's longer than 2 volumes and I'm absolutely losing my mind waiting for these to wrap up! Only reason this one get's a 4-star rating is because I think Himekawa is focusing too much on gameplay elements in some areas rather than story (e.g., howling stones, the lantern sales guy, etc.). That stuff didn't need to make it into the manga and is just unnecessary padding at this point.

Great for preteen readers

It's very interesting to see the direction that Himekawa is going with this particular story. I wasn't expecting a verbatim retelling of the game, but the new aspects that are being introduced in each volume is making me love the world and the story of Twilight Princess all over again. And I find it doubly interesting that Himekawa is already over the amount of volumes they've done for prior games like Ocarina of Time. And Himekawa's art style is so pleasing to look at.

Waiting for Himekawa-sensei to complete the series, but I've scanned through to look at the artwork. It's gorgeous, and I can't wait to get the rest of the set!

I bought this for my 9 year old son who loves reading this Zelda series. He says it’s a really quick and good read!

i love when a series does its best to keep people invited into it by doing what zelda has done, many of the games are being remade but with books like this you can keep the fun alive even when you can't get a hold of the game itself.

Overview: My 8 year old likes these. They are in Manga format, meaning that you start reading them from the back of the book and move to the front (by USA standards of reading). There is no real issue with them as follow the story line of the games, for the most part. But I do not find them to be exciting and my kid would rather read his X Story Tree House series more. Pros: If you, or your kids, follow the Zelda universe, it is definitely a must have to complete your collection. There are elements of the books which are not in the games. Cons: It feels like your standard Manga type reading material and the story lines are not all that engaging. But I love Zelda and my kid likes to be a part of things I like.

Was a fun Childhood throwback to playing Twilight Princess when it came out! It holds to the story and compelled me to finish it in the same night!

I'm in love with this series, Twilight Princess has always been my favorite game so finding this was amazing. You dont even need to be a zelda fan to read it. It's written so well anyone can jump into it, also the artwork is impeccable.. super excited for more!

Great book. Love the story. It is so nice to really see the inner thoughts and dialogue of Link and Minda beyond the original game. Holds true to the storyline so if you loved the game, like I do, then you need to read this series.

Great art and story, as were the first 2 books. I'm glad the artists are making this game-based manga have more novels to tell a better paced story than say, the Ocarina of Time manga was. Can't wait for #4!

Great series. My son loves these. He has read all of the Zelda series manga several times. The Twilight Princess Saga has been his favorite of all. He can't wait for the 4th one to come out.

There's plenty more character development going for the side kid characters. Link does come across another mysterious wolf spirit. I won't spoil much else, but you can look forward to the Eldin Bridge fight here.

Purchased for a preteen, who has read almost all the Himekawa Zelda books. The book was read in one day, and enjoyed just as much as the previous ones.

This was a gift for my grandson and I was very disappointed because the front and back cover are backwards. I return the first order and the 2nd order came in the same way.

I'm reading these aloud with my 14-yr-old who has been obsessed with Link for years! He binged these all 1-6 in two days, and then he insisted I read them, too. This is my son's favorite volume. The art is amazing! Especially the full-page spreads. But even the smallest expressions are perfect, too! I love that it gets a little deeper into the characters -- especially Link -- than the video game did.

I’m so glad I own all 3 Books of The lengend of Zelda Twilight Princess books I can’t wait for the 4th book to come out super excited! The first 3 books of Twilight Princess manga are a must have for Zelda fans everywhere and for those who enjoy Zelda as well! If you’ve played Twilight Princess, it follows the storyline with some twists to get to know about some characters. There are some cringy moments but it’s most likely just me. The graphics are stunning and it gives a really enjoyable side to the reading. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the storyline and I can’t wait for the final tome to come out this September!

Como todas las adaptaciones en manga la de TP no es la excepción esta bien escrita lleva un buena trama al igual que el resto, pero por lo que veo van a ser como 8 libros

Por la forma en que están desarrollando la historia y a los personajes, fácilmente veo que saldrán dos o tres volúmenes más antes de completar la historia. DE todas las adaptaciones de Akira Himekawa ha hecho de Zelda, ésta es a la que más amor se le ha dado.

A good continuation of the story, the pace of the book is a bit slow for my liking however it is a enjoyable book. the art work is good and detailed, I especially like the close up stuff. This volume is more about Link accepting his role as a chosen. Also Link is still learning skills, powers as well as finding allies. There is a rematch from the first volume. As much as I like the Manga art work I do find some of the fight scenes a bit hard to follow, I did have to keep looking back in case I missed something. However it was a good volume, I really do hope the pace picks up in the next volume. Part of me collects this out of nostalgia as this was the first game I ever played on the Nintendo (the original NES), so I still have great hope for this series.

I really got into Zelda Mangas and the Twilight Saga is really well done! I love the art, the story, everything and the volume was excellent. Recommend it not only for Zelda fans, but also for people, which like Mangas in general.

This is a great series of manga, for one of my favourite games in the series. I am glad that they have not tried to cram all the content into one volume, as they have done with other titles. I am looking forward to Vol 4 now, to finish of the series.
