The Judy Moody Uber-Awesome Collection: Books 1-9

This set did not arrive as advertised - the box was not included. Slightly frustrating as this is a gift and I partially ordered because it was supposed to be a gift set in the box. Return initiated and replacement ordered. Hopefully it comes with the box this time...

I bought these because my son (7) is at a reading level where he can enjoy them on his own but I also wanted something that we could read together with his sister and she would enjoy them. They both love the different adventures of Judy Moody, and the books are beautiful. These did not come with a box case to hold the set together.

They came packed just in plastic, but were undamaged. My daughter is really enjoying our nightly reading time now with some older age kids books. They don't come with the box for the set so if that bothers you, you might want to try a different set. I find kids don't keep the books in those boxes anyways.

My little one loves these books! Highly recommended. Great books for a child. Once they start on the first book they will not want to put it down. Arrived on time and package was not damaged. Great deal. Why stop at book #1 when you can buy a set! Highly recommended for the little book worm in your family

I can't say I am familiar with the Judy Moody books as far as content, so my review is based solely on need and price. My daughter needed to read this author for school so I bought this set for her to read over the summer. This price was better than any other price on the internet (walmart, target, barnes and noble, etc) and I received it in 2 days with my prime membership. Perfect.

I loved these books as a kid. Got them for my niece. Came in good condition and they actually sent me 1 more than expected.

My wife is reading these books as part of her English as a second language class. She loves them.

This "box set" came without the advertised box. I see other custoners have has the same complaint. If you are giving this item as a gift be aware its not as advertised.

My daughter (7 years old) who doesn't really love to read much, really enjoys Judy Moody and seems to move right through this series. If you price each of the books, this set is an excellent deal. I would highly recommend if you have a Judy Moody fan. Judy is not a model citizen but I think that is what my daughter finds intriguing.

I purchased these for Christmas for my seven and a half year old. They are fun chapter books about a girl who is Moody. The funny thing is that Judy Moody acts just like my daughter. My daughter read these books out loud to me. I loved my daughter's facial reaction the first time we read it and she realized she has a lot in common with this second grader!

I received books 1-10 instead of books 1-9, but there was no box for the set and a few of the bindings were scuffed and torn. Very cute set, and I'm sure the little girl I gave it to won't mind, but I would have really liked them to be in a box, which is why i ordered this set instead of Junie B Jones or Ivy & Bean.

Ordered for my 6 year old daughter. We are currently reading these together and she enjoys them. I expect she will read these to herself in a year or so. Great companion series to the Ivy and Bean series we really enjoy. Engages both the young readers and adults too.

My kids love Judy Moody. Prior to this series they've been hooked on Junie B. Jones. This series is a bit more difficult a read, but actually has considerably more pictures, which they love. Also, I'm a little happier with the language and the way kids act in this series vs Junie B. Jones.

I recently purchased this set of Judy Moody books for my six-year-old stepdaughter. She absolutely loves them! Since she is at the end of first grade, she is heading more toward chapter books and leaving the picture books behind, so this is a great transitional series. Judy Moody, unlike Junie B. Jones, is a better role model for children, in my opinion. I even find them entertaining when we read them together. The set was delivered on time and in great condition (I live overseas with the military, so it's probably even faster in the States). I definitely recommend this series from this seller. No problems whatsoever.

My daughter and I are chuckling with the character Judy Moody and her entertaining antics of choices. This third grade girl has three best friends from her class and keeps a collection of Band-Aids and pizza toppers along with other items of interest. Her brother Stink enjoys reading the Encyclopedia and playing the part of a charmingly annoying boy. With each book the author Megan McDonald gives you the unpredictable nature of Judy Moody that will keep your heart warm. I highly recommend The Judy Moody Uber-Awesome Collection.

My son is a big fan of "Secret Agent Jack Stalwart". After finishing the entire 14 books, we found "The Judy Moody" collection is highly recommended by Amazon parents. I bought one for my 6-year-old whose English is his second language and he loved it! The collection from 1 to 9 in a box set is wonderful. It is a little bit more difficult than "Secret Agent Jack Stalwart" but my son still loves it! We're glad that the commends from other parents are true and we're happy to say it as well. Get the complete collection!
