Still Going Strong

Everything I've loved about this series is still going strong in this book. In fact, it just gets better. I recently experienced a death in the family and experienced some very strange events and coincidences that make me believe it's possible real life and the afterlife may actually work the way they seem to in these stories. This series has made me look at things in a different way and in doing so, brought me comfort and even joy in my time of loss of my beloved mother-in-law. I think I've got my own mischievous Marie haunting me. I really do enjoy Eva and Marie. They're delightful. Kelly is so wonderfully annoying. She got on every last nerve I had. She's perfect for Joe. The series would not be the same without those two doofuses. I really enjoyed them both being so nosy and meddlesome. I loved Lily's reaction to her sister-in-law. Danielle had a great moment with her, too. You can't have everyone be lovable all the time. But you don't want characters who are close to the lead characters to be people you're going to hate. Kelly and Joe manage to tread that delicate line of being interestingly flawed without being people you're going to hate. They're good people, just annoying. Max brought a tear to my eye. Max and Sadie and Hunny and Bella are always a joy. I'm still in love with the police chief. He's not in this story that much, but he's a scene stealer when he is. I adore Heather. She's as unique as always. Chris is a dear. I keep hoping someday Sparks will fly between him and Heather. The wedding was written in a way that reminded me how fragile and hopeless this romance seemed only a few books ago. Well done.

wonderful

I am enjoying this well written series. Walt and Danielle and their entire community of friends are a wonderful place to visit on a weekend. I love the maturity of the main characters, and the overall feeling of rationality and common sense that permeates the stories. I also appreciate that the story never intrudes on the private lives of the characters. The characters are real enough that specific descriptions of private intimacies would feel like spying on friends in the bedroom-- yick. The author does an excellent job of sketching their closeness without intruding; after all, we're the ghosts looking in on them :-). I recommend this series without any reservations.

Wedding, surprises and friends and family

Danielle Boatman and Walt Marlow are counting the days till they can be “officially” married. What mystery will two guests bring to Marlow house? Thorns in Walt (Clint) side are sisters Claudia and Rachel Dane , Claudia has a secret regarding Clint Marlow. Dirk and Tonya Troupe also have a secret, and while not staying at Marlow House Albert Hanson. Why are these individuals in town? The biggest surprise is Lily being pregnant. When Kelly sees Danielle buy a pregnancy test, it’s hilarious how Kelly, Joe and Brian think its Danielle pregnant and when she drinks coffee or wine, they tell her not to. I love having Marie and Eve spying on the sisters and Troupe’s. Once again all of Danielle’s friends are protective and the author brings a real sense of friendship and family in the story. I love this series and hope we the reading audience are in for many more stories.

Just when you think it can't get better, it does!!

Wow! This was sooo good! I'm absolutely in love with this series! From the first book until this one I'm totally enthralled with them. The characters are brilliant and these story lines have me up all night. Can't seem to put the book down for even a second. I love all the ghosts and the interaction with the humans. Walt is so lovable and his old fashionedness is so endearing. Everything about these books is absolutely brilliant!! Wish I could put into words how I feel!! Thank you Bobbi Holmes for writing this extraordinary series!!!! Please don't stop!!!!

Walt Marries Danielle

Slightly different from previous style. While Walt settles in to using Clint's Body, other's start coming out of the woodwork, each seeming to have cause to blackmail Clint. But one is bringing a gun to the party and that means another body. Still a solid story following canon, But a tad slower in pace and flash. Already got book 21.

Loved It

I do hope Walt and Danielle will act more like a couple in love...I felt the romance between them was actually less than it had been in other books. A few chaste kisses on the forehead - more like a couple that's been married 40 years than newlyweds. Other than that, it was another great installment in the Haunting Danielle saga.

This Is The Best One Yet

I don`t want to write any spoilers, but this is the best of the series which is already beyond terrific. These people have become so real that I may have to increase my meds. (Just kidding 😉). I suspect that the new neighbor is in for a special treat. Can't wait for the next exciting episode. Write faster, please.

A fascinating book!

I have read all 20 books, and it's the best series I have ever read, the characters are true to life and connected some ways in the previous books. A must read. I'm looking forward to the next book, but I don't understand that it says 16 pages? All of her books were 40 chapters, but will buy it any ways.

Another in a wonderful series

As many others have already written, Bobbi Holmes does it again with her 20th (yes, 20th!) instalment in the Haunting Danielle series. Read it all in a day because I simply could not put it down. So glad to know that the series will continue with Book 21. I've pre-ordered it and am so looking forward to it.

Love it!

I have read every book in the series. I love them l! This installment is about the wedding of Danielle and Walt. It is also the story of certain individuals that are set to destroy Walt and his association with Danielle. I love the subplot with the new annoying neighbor. Recommended!

Amazing

I have loved this series since book one and they keep getting better and better. I love how the characters have evolved. Danielle and Walts relationship has gone from ghost to flesh and then marriage. I look forward to see what the next chapter in their lives.

Outstanding!!!!!

This book was number 20 in the series and it did not disappoint. Great writing, wonderful story line and wonderful characters. I always feel like I am visiting old friends when a new book comes out. This is my favorite series of all time. Keep them coming!!!!!

Not quite as good as the others

I love this series. I reread the whole series while waiting for this book to arrive, so it's got a lot to live up to. It continues to have many good twists, great characters, and doesn't slow down. At the same time, this one didn't have the same punch as many of the other books. On the other hand, since it's part of a continuum, you can't skip it, and it's a fun read.

great series

love the characters and story lines from this author..i read them all and still want more..worth the time and money but must start at book one to really enjoy...you wont be sorry.

Countrylibrarian

I really love this series and am sad I'm almost done. I'm still waiting for Brian to be brought into the loop. Can't wait to see how a baby stirs everything up. Enjoy

Love and friendship with a little mystery

I love the characters and would love being one of their neighbors. Bobby could write this series forever and I would read every one. Great writing.

Always a good read

I have read all of the books in this series and have enjoyed them. I do find that lately the endings seem to be almost abrupt and there was a little silliness with the family dynamic in this one. Overall, I do really like the characters and would recommend to anyone looking to slip away for a nice escape to read this series. Would recommend starting at the beginning.

I love these books

This series is excellent. The story just gets better with every book. I cannot wait for the next book to come out, I just wish the books were longer, because I can't put them down!

Loved it!!!

This book, as with all the Haunting Danielle books, was outstanding. I have every one in the series, have read every one, have loved every one, and can hardly wait for the next issue!!!

Love the series

Another fun read in the series. I enjoy the fact that I'm familiar with the characters and get to share in their experiences. the paranormal part makes the series unique and different.

Like the series

Because I have health problems my reading is for entertainment now, not shock or gore :} This series is fun, with a different mystery twist. Best to start with book one to follow the building of the characters'

Magnificence

As always keep the suspense amazing. Characters are great. Walt is extremely good. Marie will continue to be a fixture here on earth till her grandson gets married. So glad she looks out for him.

Love the ghosts

Love the series. Can’t understand why all the books in series doesn’t have option for audible without joining the Audible club

The Ghost Who Was Says I Do (Book 20) By Bobbi Holmes, Anna J McIntyre

Five stars, all Clint Marlow enemies come from the past and front Walt.. Right at the time he is marrying Danielle again in a formal wedding.. But is solved and with a happy ending.

Love this series!!

I have read this series since the beginning, and have my sister hooked on it too!!! LOL We are always waiting for the next one to be delivered to our kindles!

Excellent Book

I thought I would get bored with the series after Danielle and Walt got married. Nope. I do not know how the author keeps the storyline fresh, but she does. Great series.

This Book Kept Me Guessing

I absolutely love this series and am excited for the next book to come out later this month. This book had lots of plot twists and unexpected turns.

Another great ride!

I'm honor of book twenty I re-read the series! Loved it even more the second time. I love the characters and story. Eagerly awaiting the next!

Wonderful!

Loved, loved, loved this book! As with every book so far in this series I was captivated from the first word. The twists and turns kept my nose in the book. I can't wait for the next book to come out!

Perfect story

This romance has been blossoming for 20 books. Finally they are married by the miracle of the pen ( or computer)

Love Danielle and Walt

Another great story by Bobbie Holmes. Another murder and poor Heather finds the body. But Marie and Eva to the rescue.

Finally!

Never figured at the start of this series that this day would come but it finally did. The ending was it's usual sentimental wonder. Cannot wait for #21.

Awesome ghost story, with a bit of Oregon history to boot!

I have read all 20 of these and have my order in for 21. Well written and very educational with regard to Oregon History! I highly recommend the series. Hoping goes to 100 books and beyond!

Who's afraid of ghosts?

A fun sweet humorous cozy mystery type series that inolves a ghost and someone who can see ghosts. This series draws you into the characters and you just cant get enough. My favorite series ever.

Wonderful

Love these books! A little mystery and love. Great stories. Can't wait for the next one! It should be just as exciting.

Read Dopalganger first if you haven't ever read a Danelle book before

Not the best one. I guess I was expecting more, but of what I don't know. It was kind of a let down.

another great story

cant believe I really spent over $200 for this series -it was worth it looking forward to next book

Love this series.

I really enjoy this series. The characters real and the stories are fresh. Hope the next one is published soon.

Oh my! Just perfect!

This is my favorite series of books! I hope it never ends! A great mystery and the most perfect wedding!

I do but I didn't

4 guests arrive at the B&B. They all are guilty. Who pulled the trigger? Will amnesia keep the wedding on?

Haunting danielle

I really like this series they are fun and keep my attention i thought this one did a lot more jumping from one scene and time to another which to me can be confusing.

Haunting love story!

Love this series

This series makes me so happy. No spoilers, just LOVE it!

Doesn’t disappoint

Another great book in this series that was hard to put down. Wonderful characters and fast moving story line.

Delightful story line!

An enjoyable read. Book 20 met my expectations.

Recommended!

keep on reading can't put book down

love this series can't wait to read next book

Finally "The Wedding"!

This is a very well written series. No vulgar language or gruesome murders! A wonderful book to escape our hectic life! And finally the day we've waited for Walt and Danielle's wedding. Or will the "past" catch up to Walt preventing it all from happening? There's even a bit of humor when "eavesdropping " back fires!

Love these series

Have preordered the next one ...keep them coming ...they are part of my family :-)

Love this whole series

Cozy mystery. Lots of humor and realistic characters.

Love this book!

Amazing series!

Good read. Entertaining

Good

Nothing

Like all her books

Could not put it down

I love the characters and the stories. So excited for the next book!

Ms Holmes Has Done Again!

Walt and Danielle are married YIPPEE Lily's pregga's !! How much better can it get. I could NOT put this one down literally kept reading until I'd read the entire book just couldn't put it down even my coffee got cold! Some scary moments when the trouble makers arrived at Marlowe House Thank goodness Marie is learning how to harness her energy and she and Eva are able to watch over Walt and Danielle I laughed so hard at the floating chair. I have a really bad feeling about the nasty new neighbour I was SO angry at her wanting to hurt Sadie and Max or ANY animal I actually wanted to shut the horrible witch in her own shed see how she enjoys it Thank goodness Walt is able to warn them off her WELL DONE Heather for not backing down from her I'm glad Honey makes the witch nervous! Getting a bit fed up with Kelly and her gossiping she needs to grow up she's obviously jealous of Lilly's marriage to Ian and the close friendship of the group of friends Just CAN'T wait till our next book Please keep writing Ms Holmes.

Another brilliant read

I love this series of books, love all of the characters and the stories. These are great well written books, which always have a twist at the end. I have pre-ordered the next one can't wait

Secrets have a way of being revealed

Another excellent book in the series, Daniels and Walt have even more problems than ever before as three groups arrive with their own agendas. Just to add to the fray a new neighbour is causing problems too and there are family problems for Lily. A must read for all fans of supernatural and mystert

Amazing read

Yet another fantastic book!! Just don’t want the story to ever end Bobbie Holmes is an a amazing author !!! Got to go and start my next book now !

Bobbi does it again!

I cannot believe how many times I’ve opened up the latest book in this series and wondered if there could possibly be any more left to write about these delightful people. Each time I’m proven wrong! Now I never want this series to end. As usual my only grump is that I read them to fast and I’m left wanting more waiting for the next one!

Excellent read

Love The Haunting Danielle books, every book that comes out is so good I usually read it within a few evenings lol. If You haven't read the series, I'd highly recommend xx

Excellent read as usual.

Despite this being the 20th in the series the enchanting tale continues as fresh as ever. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a good read.

Improving

I felt the series had taken a down ward turn but this book picked things up a bit. How they get away with half the stuff is beyond me though.

Light readinh

Anybody who wants tone entertained What more can I say just using up the 15 words necessary to continue searching for another book

Good too read

Love them

Another great read

Another zinger

Bobbi Holmes never ceases to surprise me with her fresh storyline every time. Often I'm able to deduce who the murderer is in many books, but hers usually keep me guessing right to the end. After twenty or so books I'm as in love with the characters now as I was in the beginning, and I don't do ghost stories. But I do do Marlow House stories. Keep them coming, one happy reader here!

Meh

Once the murder happens, the story got exciting. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen till halfway through the book. Until then, there was a lot of silliness, like pregnancy mix ups. And the introduction of the new neighbour felt incomplete.
