Must own if really want to know your Fuji
This is the second book I have purchased of Rico. As with the first, this book is a must own if you want to know how to make the most of your Fuji and frankly make you a better photographer. There is not a better book for the XT3. This is not a repeat of the manual; if fact he recommends you must read the manual before reading his book - I agree. I rate this book five stars for all sections of the book. If I had to find a negative, it would be Rico's section on using the extended Dynamic Range functions of the camera. A bit convaluted explanation and he could be more specific on how to use (i.e. when increase the ISO to use the higher DR settings, you simultaneously need to adjust aperture or shutter speed to keep the overall exposure the same as your base exposure - obvious in hindsight but does not specifically mention.) The effects of the extended DR settings also do not show themselves in Liveview; only see during playback - don't think specifically mentioned either. Outside of the DR section, the book is a fantastic tool and reference. Mine is already marked up and have read it three times!
Not what I expected.
New to Fujifilm cameras and was looking for a guide to navigating menus for camera custom setup. Book does a good job explaining what camera is capable of but relies too much on camera manual to actually get to settings and custom functions. I finally gave up flipping back and forth from book to manual and found a good tutorial on Youtube.
Very good book!
It took a year to finish making it and ship from the point I ordered; by that time I thought I had all the info I needed from the web. WRONG! This book is chock full of info. I started to skim it and figured I would judge it as "Yup... Yup... Yup... I knew all that already"... Not so. I remained in my office clothes and forgot to let the dog out after I opened up the package when I got home. I was glued to it and an hour and a half blew by! Data is well organized and presented. I am a technical writer, so I appreciate the book and it's content quality. Buy it. Totally worth the wait for me but, you won't have to wait- I pre-ordered.
Astonishing Book--Comprehensive Knowledge!!
I am half way through this long-awaited book. I got my Fuji X-T3 several months ago, but having this guide makes it like getting a whole new camera! The author's knowledge about the little-known features and quirks of the X-T3 is amazing and comprehensive. I would have never known about many of these features if I'd only had the manual. I enthusiastically recommend this in-depth book to help you get the most out of this fun and full-featured camera.
Great book for X-T3, and other X series as well
The tips in this book are well-written and thoughtful. I've owned several of Fuji cameras and I can recommend this book for the Xt2, Xh1 as well. There is a lot of common ground. I used this book to thoughtfully adjust all of my settings for my XT3 and my XH1. Highly recommended. Read it twice- you'll really appreciate the detail in the book.
A wonderful guidebook for the Fuji XT-3 camera
At last Rocky Nook got this must have XT-3 bible out 11 months after the Fuji XT-3 came out. But it’s a great guide book for a great camera. Julian Wasser
Learned a Lot
I got this book a couple of months after getting my X-T3, and I've learned quite a bit from it. There's a section on video, but I don't do video, so I can't comment there. But for stills shooters, I recommend it.
valuable book if you own the X-T3
I have had one of his other books but on an earlier model camera. This one is every bit as good, and is an invaluable source of info on setting up and customizing the camera. I would recommend it to any and all X-T3 users.
A must have book for Fuji X-T3 owners
This book is a comprehensive and worthwhile thing to have for any Fuji X-T3 owner. It is full of clear operational explanations and tips. Highly recommended.
Amazing book.
Amazing book with tips and tricks for the fujifilm x-t3. I'm enjoying it and learning a lot.

Nice book but poorly organized
This book is packed with information, but to me, it is poorly organized. It tends to jump around and I think it could be better laid out. But, there is no denying that is covers a great deal of information and if you don’t mind sorting it out, you will find it very helpful.
Good Detail
Goes into much more detail than you would find in the manual. Also, gives suggestions on settings which is very helpful
Great little book
Nicley written by someone who has actually used the camera.
Great companion for the X-T3
I thought I would benefit mostly from the video tips but there is so much in here about the photography side of the camera as well that I had never thought of before. Highly recommended!
Nice book
Easy to understand
